Baseball
Attleboro, 1 @ Bishop Feehan, 5 – Final – Junior Matt Callahan gave up three runs on five hits over four innings in his first varsity start. The Bombardiers managed only five hits, two of them by John Burns. Jon Dunn scored the lone Attleboro run on a fielder’s choice by Brendan Galvao.

Franklin, 4 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Sophomore Jake Noviello struck out six in six innings of work, scattering five hits to get the win. Matt Foley, Ryan Hodgkins, Joe Corsi and Tyler Gomes each knocked in a run for Franklin. Oliver Ames’ Josh Minuskin was 2/3 with an RBI and a run scored and sophomore Matt Muir had a pair of hits and reached base three times total. 

Softball
Attleboro, 2 vs. Bishop Feehan, 6 – Final

Taunton, 12 vs. New Bedford, 0 – Final (6 inn.) – Aimee Kistner tossed a no hitter, fanning nine batters and issuing just one walk. At the plate, Kistner was 2/2 with a double and a pair of RBI, Kya Enos was 3/4 with two RBI, Jordan Wade was 2/2 with a double and two RBI and Liana Duarte was 2/4 with a triple and two RBI. 

Boys Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 7 vs. Whitman-Hanson, 11 – Final

Girls Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 10 @ Whitman-Hanson, 9 – Final – Ariana Waldorf shined in goal with 14 saves for the Tigers as OA held off a late push from Whitman-Hanson. Abby Duvall and Sam Lang each scored three goals, Sofia Masciarelli scored twice and Carly Cidado had three assists. Erin Fitzgerald had a goal and an assist while Hannah Friend had one goal and Kendall Clifford had an assist. Head coach Craig Gardner credited Cidado, Sarah Lewis, Cassie Gavin, Katie Davenport and Olivia Piazza with strong defensive games.

#15 Stoughton, 2 vs. #18 Diman, 0 – Final – Stoughton senior Josh Mitchell opened the scoring three minutes into the second half off an assist from goalie Kyle Silverman and Loubensky Lucas doubled the Black Knights’ lead 10 minutes later, finishing off a cross from freshman Fabio Ponce De Leon. Stoughton advances to the D2 South First Round and will travel to #2 Greater New Bedford (17-1) on Friday at 6:00.

#17 Taunton, 3 @ #16 Wellesley, 1 – Final

#18 Milford, 0 @ #15 Silver Lake, 4 – Final

#11 Oliver Ames, 2 vs. #22 New Bedford, 0 – Final – Missy Krim scored in the first half off an assist from Dimitra Efremidis and Nicole Walker added a goal in the second half. Head coach Janice Sundell said Katie Davenport played well on defense for the Tigers while Cassie Gavin made six saves. 
#18 Stoughton, 2 @ #15 Barnstable, 3 – Final – Mia Russell and Courtney Campbell scored for Stoughton but Barnstable scored with just seven seconds left to escape with a win. 

#19 King Philip, 1 @ #13 Plymouth South, 0 – Final (3OT) – King Philip kept Plymouth South off the board while Casie Curtin and Caitlin Donahue scored to lift the Warriors in a stroke off. KP advances to the D1 South First Round, where they will travel to #4 Franklin on Friday at 2:30.
#21 Attleboro, 3 @ #12 Dighton-Rehoboth, 0 – Final – Attleboro got a hat trick from Emily Houle and Quincy Harding assisted on a pair of them to help the Bombardiers advance. Attleboro will play #5 Dennis-Yarmouth on Friday at 2:30 in the D1 South First Round.

#23 Canton, 1 @ #10 Bridgewater-Raynham, 0 – Final – Lindsey Nolte scored midway through the first half and Taylor Carrington had a strong game in net for the Bulldogs. Canton advances to the D1 South First Round, where they will travel to #7 Norwood (13-4-1) on Friday at 2:30.

Canton, 1 vs. Duxbury, 3 – Final – Canton rallied to win the second set but fell to the Dragons, 17-25, 25-21, 18-25, 18-25. Elizabeth Hamilton had 17 kills to go along with 19 digs, Sarah Reissfelder and Rye Verille combined for 13 kills and Olivia Devoe had 16 digs for the Bulldogs.
Field Hockey
Attleboro, 3 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final

Foxboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – OA senior Hannah Friend scored with six minutes left in the first half while senior goalie Cassie Gavin came up big in the second half and finished with 12 saves.

Sharon @ Canton – Postponed to 10/30 at 3:30

Taunton, 0 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Canton, 1 – Final – Junior Thomas McCormick gave the Tigers the lead after a long throw from Max Bamford. In the second half, senior Keegan Nutt set up Chris Romero and Nathaniel Cardoza to give OA a 3-0 lead. 
Milford, 0 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Anthony Barreira, Nic Biegel, Devante Teixeira and Hussein Kafel all scored for the Warriors, who had a 3-0 lead at half.
North Attleboro, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – Joe Kellett, Larsen Keys and Mike Rowe each registered two points as the Warriors came back from a one goal deficit. Gareth King put the Rocketeers ahead before Kellett scored off a free kick from Cam Mullins. Keys then put KP ahead, heading home a corner from Kellett. Mike Rowe got his first goal by converting a corner from sophomore Connor Mullins. Rowe’s second goal came off a through ball from Keys. 

Sharon, 1 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Sharon’s Jake Goloboy scored the lone goal of the game on an assist from James Dunlea as the Eagles qualified for the state tournament. Andrew Filipkowski had the shutout in net for Sharon.
Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 0 @ Taunton, 1 – Final
Canton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final – Jackie Mills scored a pair of goals and had an assist to lead the Tigers to a key division win. Kiana Lozzi had a goal and an assist while Lauren Wright and Tori Wyman each scored for OA.

Foxboro, 0 @ Milford, 2 – Final – Carina Thompson and Kristen Franzini each scored a goal for the Scarlet Hawks and Lindsay Stiles and Katie Brown each had an assist. Milford head coach Jay Mastaj said Nicole Dahlgren and Gabby O’Neil played well on defense.

King Philip, 0 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Haley Guertin scored in the 27th minute off an assist from Britta McDonald to lift the Rocketeers to a win. 
Stoughton, 2 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Stoughton freshman Gabi Diaz scored twice in the second half, the final goal coming in the final minute to lift the Black Knights. Alana Richards and Emmie Sprague each ahd an assist. Head coach Tara Daniels credited Sarina Hutchinson and Sarah Widrow with strong defensive games. Ally Steinberg scored a first half goal for Sharon.
Volleyball
Franklin, 2 vs. Bishop Feehan, 3 – Final – Alyssa Shea had 10 kills and three digs, Aubrie Kutil had 13 kills and Hannah Chace added eight kills for the Panthers. Dayna McCue had a whopping 45 serve receives, 25 digs and a pair of aces for Franklin.
Attleboro vs. Norton, 5:30
Field Hockey
Taunton, 0 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final
Oliver Ames, 1 @ Canton, 0 – Final – OA senior Carly Cidado’s goal in the first half off an assist from junior Kendall Clifford gave the Tigers the win and qualified OA for the state tournament. Cassie Gavin stopped nine shots for the shutout in net. 

Milford, 1 @ Foxboro, 3 – Final – Freshman Lily Daly scored a pair of goals for Foxboro while MaryLou Long scored once. Milford’s Elena DelloRusso had the lone goal for the Scarlet Hawks.
Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Mansfield broke open the deadlock with just six minutes remaining to hand the Panthers their first league loss this season. Franklin’s Samantha Jones made six saves while freshman Cassi Ronan led a Franklin offense that registered 15 shots on goal.

North Attleboro, 1 @ King Philip, 2 – Final – The Warriors took the lead in the first half when Alli Meehan converted her breakaway chance for an unassisted goal. Liz Furfari doubled KP’s lead off of an assisted goal in the second half. North Attleboro’s Mcayla Moody scored off a corner with just over a minute remaining. 
Sharon, 1 @ Stoughton, 4 – Final – Courtney Campbell scored a pair of goals while Angela Connolly and Olivia Schlehuber each scored once. Emily Locke scored Sharon’s goal while Brigid Loftus played well in net for the Eagles.

Boys Soccer
Foxboro, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Devante Teixeira put Foxboro ahead in the first half, heading in a corner from Anthony Barreira. Thomas McCormick then scored a pair of goals, the first assisted by Chris Romero and the second from Matt Campbell to put OA ahead. Foxboro freshman Nic Biegel scored with less than five minutes left to tie the game.
King Philip 1, @ Dartmouth, 0 – Final – Joe Kellett scored in the first half as the Warriors picked up their second win over Dartmouth in an eight day span. 
Volleyball
Canton, 2 vs. Notre Dame Academy, 3 – Final – Canton picked up wins  in the first two games but weren’t able to hand NDA its first loss of the season. Canton won the first two games 25-21, 25-21 but then fell 16-25, 20-25, 9-15. Elizabeth Hamilton had 18 kills and 23 digs, Sarah Reissfelder had nine kills and three blocks, Olivia Devoe had 20 digs and Nicole Poole had 27 assists and 18 digs. Head coach Pat Cawley said Casey Shea, Emma Murphy and Rye Verille had their best ever blocking games.

Milford, 3 vs. Millis, 0 – Final
Field Hockey
Franklin, 4 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Diana Griffin scored a pair of goals, Annie Walsh had a goal and an assists, Cassi Ronan scored once and Alex Sullivan added two assists in the win for the Panthers.

King Philip, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final
Sharon, 0 @ Milford, 5 – Final – Jess Palmer netted a hat trick while Shannon Cormier and Ali Atherton each scored once for the Scarlet Hawks. 
Stoughton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames senior Hannah Friend scored a hat trick and Carly Cidado also added a goal for the Tigers. Missy Krim and Nadia Eldemery each had an assist and OA head coach Janice Sundell said Sarah Stevens played well in the midfield. Cassie Gavin made five saves in net.
