Attleboro, 6 @ Milford, 0 – FinalIn its second game in as many days, Attleboro bounced back from a loss on Monday with a convincing win on Tuesday on the road over Milford. Siobhan Landers paced the attack for the Bombardiers, netting a pair of goals. Jordan Mooney, Emma Briggs, Emelia Westwater, and Sarah McMahon all scored once for Attleboro.

Foxboro @ North Attleboro, 5:15

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 9 – FinalFranklin scored three goals inside a six minute span in the first quarter to set the tone and the Panthers never looked back in a win over visiting Taunton. Kaitlyn Carney, Sydney Rogan, and Payten Crandall all scored for Franklin with the latter also assisting on the second goal. Carney went on to add three more goals, two assisted by Emily Carney in the third quarter. Shaw Downing and Haley Wernig also had first half goals while Sophia Cuneo tacked on a goal in the fourth quarter. Megan Sullivan had the shutout in net for the hosts.

King Philip, 2 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalAfter a scoreless first half, King Philip scored once in each quarter of the second half to get a win on the road over Mansfield. Sophomore Mara Boldy broke the deadlock with a goal midway through the third quarter and sophomore Kelly Holmes put the game away when she found the back of the cage with three minutes to play. Junior Haley Bright turned away three shots to earn the save while seniors Molly Piller, Christina Gifun, and Lily Brown all had strong games for KP. KP head coach Lisa Cropper praised the “outstanding game” of freshman Abby MacDonald, who made her first varsity start at left midfield.

Oliver Ames, 6 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalOliver Ames set the tone in its road game at Sharon with three goals in the first quarter, stretching the lead to 5-0 by the halftime break. Erin Cottam opened the scoring off an assist from Georgia Costello less than a minute into the contest and then doubled the Tigers’ advantage off a feed from Tyla Delamere. Costello then made it 3-0 with just under five minutes to go in the first quarter. Julia Maclaine and Ava Costello scored by halftime while Lily Gaskill had two first half assists. Georgia Costello (from Cottam) aded the final goal in the third quarter.










Volleyball
Attleboro, 3 @ Milford, 1 – FinalAttleboro erased a one-set deficit by winning three straight to earn a win on the road over the Scarlet Hawks, 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-18). Summer Pereira had a strong performance at the net with 12 digs, Natalie Brojek dished out 30 assists, and freshman Julia Leonardo finished with 14 digs and 18 kills. Gabby Bolduc and Tigin Bombardier both played well at the night for Attleboro.

Foxboro @ North Attleboro, 6:00

Stoughton, 0 @ Canton, 3 – FinalCanton grabbed its second win in as many days, this time sweeping neighboring Stoughton, 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-12). Anna Verille had a standout performance for the Bulldogs, recording 12 digs, eight aces, and a kill. Taylor Reynolds dished out 21 assists while Kelly MacDonald had a perfect night at the service line and played solid defense.

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalFranklin senior Cailyn Mackintosh did it all to lead the Panthers to a win at home, a 3-0 sweep (25-11, 25-9, 25-20) over Taunton. Mackintosh had 21 assists, 10 digs, four aces, and three kills in a strong all-around performance while sophomore Taylor Lacerda added 10 kills an an ace in the win.

King Philip, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalKing Philip went on the road and earned a win in hard-fought battle, walking away with a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 25-16, 25-16). The Warriors had a balance attack at the net led by Sami Shore’s 10 kills, Ahunna James’ nine kills, and Emily Sawyer’s six kills. Samantha Asprelli added 11 digs to anchor the defense while Stella Bailey shined at the service line with 17 service points, including seven aces.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery from this matchOliver Ames took care of business in the first two sets and then fended off a strong fight from Sharon in the third to complete the 3-0 sweep (25-12, 25-14, 25-23). Hadley Rhodes dished out 20 assists, Maddie Homer recorded 22 digs, and Sarah Hilliard (12 kills) and Courtney Raymond (five kills, five aces) paced the offense. Junior Mary Derba had a strong all-around game at the net for the Tigers.




Boys Cross-Country
Franklin, 20 @ Attleboro, 43 – FinalAttleboro’s Lee Casstevens won the race but the next seven runners to cross the finish line were all Panthers. Casstevens crossed at 17:15 for first overall followed by Franklin’s Griffin Sieczkiewicz in second and Clancy Golden in third. Stephen Rontiris, Tyler Apicella, Michael Farrow, Connor Kucich, and Will Boozang all finished in order to round out the top eight spots.

King Philip, 46 @ Taunton, 17 – FinalTaunton senior captain Ryan Strawbridge ran a personal best time on his way to a first place finish at home, helping the Tigers win big on senior night. Strawbridge shaved seven seconds off his previous best, setting a new mark at 17:15 in the win. Sophomores Brayden Cali (17:16) and Andrew Cali (17:41) rounded out the top three for the Tigers, freshman Cam Dorr set a new PR by over 30 seconds for fifth overall, and junior Sam Dennis took sixth overall in his varsity debut. Junior captain Jack Pawlowski also set a new PR by over 30 seconds and took seventh overall.

Mansfield, 23 @ Milford, 32 – FinalMansfield picked up its second win in a row to start the season, this time taking down Milford on the road. Collin Stevens was the Hornets’ top finisher, clocking in at 17:28. Sophomore Talon Johnson had a strong showing in his debut race, crossing the finish line at 18:34 for sixth overall.

Girls Cross-Country
Franklin, 15 @ Attleboro, 50 – FinalIt was a clean sweep for the Panthers with their five scorers taking the first five spots in the race. Abigail Baker was first overall followed by Fiona Morrison, Carli Walbert, Alex Batla, and Vivie Loukota to found out the top five.

King Philip, 27 @ Taunton, 28 – FinalTaunton had the top two runners but King Philip took the next four spots plus a ninth place finish to edge out Taunton by a point. Taunton freshman Emersyn Deponte tied the Tiger record for dual meet wins in a season by taking first in her second straight race, this time in 21:10. Classmate Colby Dunham was just seconds behind for second overall in 21:32. Also scoring for Taunton was junior Kiley Quinlan (22:16), junior Phylicia Dias (23:06), and eighth grader Tori Corrao (23:55).

Mansfield, 22 @ Milford, 33 – FinalMansfield sophomore Anna Moore won the race and the Hornets got key points following some great pack running in a win over Milford. Moore clocked in at 20:12 for first overall, followed by Milford’s Sydney Kalil (20:27), Mansfield’s Meghan Johnston (20:42), and Milford’s Jillian Araujo (20:47). After splitting the first four spots, Mansfield’s trio of junior Devin Anderson, senior Sophia Allen, and junior Alanna Conley finished in that order within a 10-second span to take the next three spots and help the Hornets get the win.

Stoughton, 194 @ Sharon, 175 – FinalSharon defended its home turf with a win over Stoughton at the Cape Club of Sharon. Eric Carter earned match medalist honors after shooting a 43 to lead the Eagles. Rosie Leonard, Chance Hanna, and Noah Glassman all shot 45 to round out the scoring for the hosts. Anthony Hern had the low-round for the Black Knights, shooting a 44 on the day.

Canton, 151 @ Franklin, 166 – FinalAll four of Canton’s scorers shot 40 or better on the road at Franklin Country Club, leading the Bulldogs to a non-league win. Conor Hunter was the match medalist, shooting a low-round of 35 to pace the visitors. Will Gefteas added a 36 in the win while both Mike Leonetti and Nate MacDonald shot 40. CJ Steel fired a team-low round of 40 for the Panthers, Brendan Collins and Tyler O’Brien each shot a 41, and Liam Lewandowski came in with a round of 44.

North Attleboro, 168 @ Foxboro, 170 – FinalNorth Attleboro did just enough on the front nine at Foxboro Country Club to take home a two-stroke victory over division foe Foxboro. Jake Gaskin continued his strong play this season, this time coming in with a one-under par round of 37 to earn match medalist honors. Dillon Harding added a 43 in the win while both Tyson Laviano and Aaron Levesque finished at 44. Foxboro’s Jack Rounds had a team-low round of 40 while Matt Sullivan was just a shot behind at 41. Matt Fossella added a 44 and Jack Watts chipped in with a 45.

Mansfield, 150 @ Oliver Ames, 151 – FinalMansfield returned home with a hard fought win, taking a one-stroke victory on the road at Pine Oaks against Oliver Ames. Hunter Tang fired an even par round of 34 to earn medalist honors for the Hornets, Cian Goulet added 38 in the win, and both Cody Nieratko and Ryan Doherty shot a 40. For Oliver Ames, senior captain Jake Kaplan had the team-low round of 36, both Jo Jo Gaultier and Daniel Paul shot 38, and Brendan Connelly and David Rodgers each finished at 39.

Taunton, 196 vs. New Bedford, 212 – FinalTaunton earned its first win of the season by knocking off New Bedford, splitting the season series with the Whalers. Loran Corcoran led the Tigers with a team-low round of 47 while Jack Gobin and Shawn Murphy each shot 48 for Taunton.

Boys Soccer
Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 4 – FinalAfter leading by one at halftime, Franklin found of the back of the net three times in the second half to pull away from the Bombardiers. Jacob Cummings scored for the third straight game for Franklin, scoring a pair of goals in the win. Lucas Moura opened the scoring in the first half, going in alone on the keeper on a feed from Matt Szczepanowski to put the Panthers ahead 1-0. Cummings nodded in a header from Ethan Cain’s corner to make it 2-0, senior Sam Stowell converted a penalty kick, and Cummings powered his way to another goal to make it 4-0. Senior Jack Rudolph played well in net for the Panthers.

Milford, 2 @ Canton, 1 – FinalCanton opened the scoring early in the second half but Milford rallied for a pair of goals to get the win and stay unbeaten. Dylan Baird netted his first career goal to put the Bulldogs ahead 1-0. Minutes later, Milford senior Pedro Araujo converted a penalty kick to knot the score. Joao Pedro Da Silva scored the game-winning goal for the second straight game, finishing off an assist from Lucas Da Silva to make it 2-1.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalNorth Attleboro scored first but Foxboro responded with a pair of first half goals to earn the win at home. James Sales gave the visitors the lead in the 8th minute but the advantage lasted just a minute. Dylan Barreira netted the tying goal in the 9th minute and then scored again in the 16th minute to help the Warriors earn two points.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ King Philip, 0 – FinalOliver Ames’ Jimmy Keane scored the lone goal of the game in the first half to lead the Tigers to a win on the road. Keane bagged his fifth goal of the season in the 28th minute, finishing a corner kick from Colin Milliken.

Taunton, 1 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalMansfield and Taunton traded second half goals to split the points under the lights at Alumni Field. The Hornets took the lead in the 66th minute but Taunton found the equalizer eight minutes later to earn the draw. Colin Caridi finished a scrum in the area, with Matt Hyland setting things up off a long throw from Dylan Buchanan. Jared Roderick scored the equalizer for the Tigers. Mansfield junior Eric Sullivan made his first career start in net and played great, making 12 saves.

Sharon, 1 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalStoughton took the lead in the first half but Sharon converted a penalty kick in the second half to earn the draw. Luiz Gustavo put the Knights ahead while Nolan Gerome made six saves in net for the hosts.

Girls Soccer
Franklin, 1 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalIn a game that was affected by heavy winds, Franklin got the game’s only goal 11 minutes into the second half. Sabrina Addi’s free kick bounced around in the box and Chloe Barca prodded it home. The Bombardiers played well defensively, according to head coach Steve Santos, but struggled to create scoring opportunities. He praised Sophia Salviati and Emily Antonik for holding down the Attleboro defensive unit.

Canton, 2 @ Milford, 3 – FinalMilford broke a 2-2 deadlock with a goal in the final 10 minutes to earn an important divisional win. Dani Atherton scored twice for the Hawks and Ashleigh Starks added one. Juliana France had a pair of assists in the win while Maddie Boyle had one.

King Philip, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – FinalKing Philip built a 2-0 lead by halftime and added three more goals in the second half to earn two points on the road. Chloe Layne (penalty kick, 29th minute) and Avery Snead (from Grace Lawler, 33rd minute) scored four minutes apart to give the visitors the lead at the break. Snead then scored twice in a seven-minute span, first heading in a corner from Makayla Griffin in the 48th minute, and again in the 55th minute on a cross from Layne. Paulina Baczkowski finished a rebound in the 74th minute to make it 5-0. KP coach Gary Pichel said his defense, featuring Paige Varvarigos, Olivia Berry, Griffin, and Lawler, played exceptional defense to secure KP’s 10th shutout.

Mansfield, 0 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalGrace Pimenta recorded 10 saves to maintain a clean sheet for the Tigers, while Olivia Salisbury made one stop to earn a shutout for the Hornets.

Stoughton, 2 @ Sharon, 2 – FinalStoughton freshman Shayla Ford scored a pair of second half goals to help the Black Knights earn a point on the road. Sharon scored twice in the first half but Ford struck twice for the Knights in the second half with Mackenzie Manning and Isabella Rodrigues grabbing assists.




Field Hockey
Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalFranklin scored a pair of early goals and flexed its defensive muscles to earn a win over visiting Attleboro. Lelia Frankina put the Panthers ahead just over two minutes into the game, and Kaitlyn Carney doubled the advantage 39 seconds later. Attleboro’s Anna Beck cut the deficit in half on an assist from Emelia Westwater. Franklin goalie Neilee Hess made seven saves in the win.

Allyson Bonnet-Eymard put down 13 kills and Bridget Jackson finished with six aces for the Panthers.

Taylor Harris had 12 kills and four aces, Liz Bickett added four kills and 12 digs, and Jackie Morrissey distributed the ball well with 21 assists along with a pair of aces.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, North Attleboro earned two straight wins to pick up a 3-1 (25-23, 24-26, 25-22, 25-17) win on the road. Hayley Gaskin continued her strong season, dishing out 43 assists for the Rocketeers while Grace Munley (16 kills) and Kylie Melanson (11 kills) paced the North offense. Foxboro’s Grace Boudreau (13 kills, three blocks) and Shannon McDonald (seven kills, six blocks) played well at the net, Kelsey Treweek added 22 digs, Pam Nelson had 12 service points, and Maddie O’Brien dished out 23 assists for the Warriors.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalIn a battle of two of the top teams in the Kelley-Rex division, King Philip earned a 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-11) win over visiting Oliver Ames. Catherine Waldeck paced the Warriors’ offense with 11 kills and two blocks, Ali McNamara and Nicole Coughlan (six aces) each added five kills, and Emma Brooks chipped in with four aces and five digs for KP. Oliver Ames’ Alison Barth had 28 serve receptions and 15 digs, Allie Kemp dished out 17 assists, Jordan Bosse finished with 10 kills, and Jordyn Vella chipped in with three blocks.

Taunton, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalThe Tigers and the Hornets split the opening two sets, but the hosts rebounded to win two straight and take the match, 3-1 (27-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22). Ashley Santos had a strong day with seven kills and 14 service points, Julia Buiser added nine digs and nine service points, and Emily Dardinski finished with 11 service points for the Hornets.

Attleboro’s Kimberly Esteban won the race in 21:33 while Taunton’s top five runners all finished within two minutes of one another, led by Lily Valcovic in 22:32.

Franklin, 161 @ Canton, 155 – FinalIn a battle of two of the top teams in the Hockomock League, Canton prevailed with the win and stayed unbeaten on the season. Conor Hunter earned match medalist honors, firing a low round of 37. Chris Lavoie and Mike Leonetti each shot 39 in the win. Franklin’s Jack Paterson led the way for the Panthers with a 38 while Brian Sandham added a 40 and Pat Dolan finished with a 41.

Sharon, 163 @ Stoughton, 169 – FinalSharon’s Ethan Skelly fired a round of 37 at Easton Country Club, earning match medalist honors and helping the Eagles to a close win over Stoughton. Eric Carter chipped in with a 41 for the Eagles. Stoughton’s Max Huminik had a team-low round of 39 while Jack Curtis added a 41.

Foxboro, 2 @ Milford, 2 – FinalMilford’s Joao Pedro Da Silva scored in the final seconds of the game to help the Hawks earn a tie against visiting Foxboro. The Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the first half when Dylan Barreira headed in a corner kick from Will Morrison. Leo Coelho knotted the score with an early goal in the second half but Joey Cusack finished off a quick give-and-go with Barreira to put the visitors back ahead. Da Silva headed in a corner kick in the final seconds to make it 2-2.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 1 – FinalIt was a tale of two halves between the visiting Hornets and hosts Panthers on Monday evening. Franklin controlled the first half and scored the lone goal of the game as sophomore Terry O’Neill finished off a corner from senior Donny Tappin in the 10th minute. The Hornets had a strong second half but couldn’t find the back of the net.

King Philip, 1 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalTaunton took the lead in the first half but King Philip found the equalizer in the second half as the teams split the points. Alec Nunes put the hosts on the board in the 21st minute but King Philip’s Evan McEvoy (assisted by Tadhg Keller on a corner kick) scored in the 60th minute to bring the Warriors level. Taunton goalie Nolan Melo had a strong game in net for the Tigers.

Girls Soccer
Stoughton, 2 @ Canton, 7 – FinalEliza Diletizia and Mia Gilmore each scored twice, as the Bulldogs’ offense exploded for a big division win. Gabby Herivaux, Jenna Parrella, and Lauren McCabe also scored for Canton. Stoughton freshman Shayla Ford scored twice with Samantha Tran and Mackenzie Manning recording assists.

Milford, 2 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final

Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalSara Sacco scored the game’s only goal midway through the first half. Katie Miller got the assist for the Hornets and Olivia Salisbury made five saves to record the shutout. Maria Sevastos, Erin Dooling, Anna Darlington, and Abby Oppenheim all played well in the Mansfield back line, as Franklin continued to pressure throughout the second half.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 7 – FinalKing Philip’s Makayla Griffin factored into three first half goals while the Warriors tacked on four more in the second half to beat visiting Taunton. Griffin assisted on goals from Chloe Layne (18′) and then Kiera Lindmark (28′) before scoring on a free kick from 25 yards out in the 34th minute. Layne (from Ally Stanton in the 56th minute), Stanton (from Lindmark in the 58th minute), Paulina Baczkowski (from Ella Pisani in the 70th minute), and Molly MacDonald (from Pisani in the 75th mintue) all had second half goals for KP.




Field Hockey
Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this game. Haley Gilman scored a pair of goals and Cassie Gennis added one goal and one assist, while goalie Kara Ostrander had to make a series of saves to give the Tigers a narrow win. Georgia Costello and Hannah Stryke also recorded assists, as OA jumped out to a 3-0 lead with lethal transitions. Attleboro had a lot of the pressure in the attacking half of the field and finally made the breakthrough with 14 minutes to play. Anna Beck smacked a shot through traffic and then a minute later her goal-bound shot was tapped in by Emelia Westwater to set up a frantic final 10 minutes.

Canton, 8 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalMeg Aldrich scored a pair of goals in the win for the Bulldogs.

Foxboro, 6 @ Milford, 0 – Final

Mansfield, 2 @ Franklin, 7 – FinalFranklin raced out to a 3-0 lead at halftime and added four more in the second half to knock off visiting Mansfield. Hanna Richardson scored twice in the opening half and added one more in the second half to finish with a hat trick. Olivia Rondeau scored twice and had two assists for the Panthers, who scored twice in a two-minute span in the second half after the Hornets’ Gabby Devlin cut the deficit to 3-1 less than a minute into the second half. Freshman Kaitlyn Carney had three assists for Franklin, Neilee Hess made three saves in net, and Kendall Jones came up with two big defensive saves for the Panthers.

King Philip, 0 @ Taunton, 0 – Final King Philip peppered the Tigers’ net with 19 shots but Taunton goalie Emily Gannon stood tall to earn a shutout and a point. Senior Sammy Robison, sophomore Christina Gifun, and sophomore Haley Izydorczak all had strong outings for the visiting Warriors. “She played amazing,” said Taunton coach Liz Hathaway on Gannon’s performance.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this match.Oliver Ames earned a 3-0 (25-9, 25-10, 25-17) win on the road over Attleboro behind a strong defensive performance from junior Allie Zwerle, who had eight serve receptions and seven digs. Allie Kemp dished out 28 assists, Alison Barth notched 19 digs, and senior Ryley McNeeley added six kills and three aces.

Canton, 3 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalThe Bulldogs earned a win on the road in their first trip to the new Stoughton High School, with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-21) decision. Taylor Harris led Canton with 17 kills, five digs and two aces, Shannon Malloy had a good day in the middle with seven kills while Liz Bickett was strong at the net with three blocks, five kills, and great defense. Taylor Reynolds did well in her first start of the year, putting up 17 assists while Jackie Morrissey added 11 assists, four digs and two aces.

Foxboro, 2 @ Milford, 3 – FinalFoxboro rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force a fifth set but Milford earned a win in the final game for a 3-2 win (25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 23-25, 15-6). Sara Addeche, Pam Nelson (four kills), and Kelsey Treweek each had 11 digs for Foxboro, Grace Fortune added 10 digs and two aces, Maddie O’Brien dished out 17 assists, Shannon McDonald registered five blocks, and Grace Boudreau paced the offense with 13 kills and two aces.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalFranklin emerged with wins in tight first and third sets to pick up a 3-0 (23-25, 13-25, 23-25) win over the Hornets. For Mansfield, Julia Kelly had six kills and seven service points, Alina Nowakowski added five kills, and Olivia McGrath and Emily Dardinski each chipped in with four kills.

King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalKing Philip went on the road and picked a 3-0 win (25-8, 25-13, 25-6) over the Tigers. Catherine Waldeck (11 kills) and Nicole Coughlan (nine kills, two aces) continued to pace the Warriors’ offense while Ali McNamara had a strong game with six kills for KP.

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalNorth Attleboro defended home court with a clean sweep, taking a 3-0 (25-11, 25-3, 26-24) decision over the visiting Eagles. Brooke Street (six digs) had a 16-point service run in the second game that helped the Rocketeers earn a convincing win in the second set. Middle Eliza Dion had seven kills, outside hitter Kylie Melanson added five kills, and Joanna Collins-Bilyeu had a great defensive performance for North Attleboro.

Golf
Milford, 220 @ Stoughton, 228 – Final (5 cards) – The match was tied at 175 through four cards but the Hawks prevailed on the fifth card to split the season series with the Black Knights. Tyler Wetherbee and Wes Murdock each shot 43 to pace the Scarlet Hawks. Stoughton senior Max Huminik earned match medalist honors with a low-round of 41 while Jake Curtis (42) and Anthony Hearn (43) also scored for the Black Knights.

Alex Pfeffer opened the scoring in the 7th minute, one-timing a cross from Andrew Tolfa. Five minutes later, Joe Hilf and Joey Coscarella combined at the top of the area, the latter converting his chance inside the box. Matt Mordini set up the third goal with great hustle, tracking down a ball right on the end line and finding Alvaro Martinez-Calvo at the far post. James Sales added a fourth goal on a rebound in the second half. Nolan Gerome had 21 saves in net for the Black Knights.

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalOliver Ames outscored Taunton 3-1 in the second half to earn two points on the road. OA opened the scoring when Jimmy Keane found the back of the net on an assist from Brady deVos. Taunton tied the game just before the break to make it 1-1 heading into the second half. Niko Byron opened his account for the season to put OA ahead, finishing a service from Colin Milliken. Sean Flaherty (assisted by Kevin Louhis) put the visiting Tigers up 3-1 but Taunton cut the deficit to just one with 16 minutes to play. But Milliken iced the game, converting a penalty kick to make it 4-2.

Attleboro, 4 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – FinalAttleboro scored three goals in the second half to pull away from the Tigers, avenging a shutout loss to the Tigers earlier this season. The Bombardiers led 1-0 at the break before OA tied it early in the second. Anna Beck, Hannah Webster, Emelia Westwater and Emma Briggs each scored once for Attleboro.

Foxboro, 5 @ Milford, 0 – FinalLily Daly and Sophia Lowe each scored twice as the Warriors pulled away from the Scarlet Hawks in the second half. Sophia DiCenso also scored for Foxboro, which led 1-0 at half.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – FinalFranklin set the tone early, scoring twice in the opening five minutes, in a big 5-0 win over Mansfield. Victoria Quinn had both of the first two goals, the first assisted by Amanda Lewandowski just 86 seconds into the contest. Quinn made it 2-0 on assists from Ashley Reutlinger and Regan Paterson just before the five minute mark. Lewandowski (from Reutlinger) made it 3-0 at the midway point of the first half. Paterson (from Lewandowski) made it 4-0 in the 36th minute and Quinn completed the hat trick with an unassisted tally in the 39th minute. Christina Luccini made nine saves for the shutout and FHS head coach Michelle Hess said Maeve Ledwith had a fantastic game defensively and Cassi Ronan had a great game controlling the field from the center mid position.

Claire Lawler scored both of KP’s first half tallies, both off assists from Alli Meehan, Lawler opened the scoring in the 7th minute and then made it 2-0 in the 10th minute. Cristina Gifun (assisted by Meehan) struck less than five minutes into the second half to make it 3-0 and Meehan capped the scoring in the 46th minute, converting a pass from Nicole Connor.

Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames senior Sadie Homer recorded her 1,000th career dig as the Tigers rolled to a win at home (25-16, 25-19, 25-10). Homer, who had 37 digs, is just the second player in program history to reach the 1,000-point club. Caitlin Cavanaugh had 12 kills, Jordan Bosse added 10 kills, and Grace McCallum chipped in with six aces for OA. Attleboro’s Amanda Kadisveskis had five kills, three blocks, and an ace, Chelsea Calgagni finished with 11 kills and six digs, and Jessica Matheson had 13 digs for the Bombardiers.

For the Hornets, Greenly Kelly had nine kills and eight service points, Sam Sternberg had eight digs and eight service points, and Ashley Santos chipped in with five kills.

King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalTaunton won a tight second set but King Philip didn’t let the momentum swing to the home team, taking the match 3-1 (25-18, 25-27, 25-10, 25-13). For the Warriors, Catherine Waldeck had 15 kills and a block, Nicole Coughlan added seven kills and two blocks, Shayla Weitzman finished with eight digs and two aces.
