Zach Tamagni led the way with 22 points for the Scarlet Hawks while Shane Cosquete added 13 points and junior Kayden Kelley had 10 points and 19 rebounds. Canton junior Tony Harris had 15 points and 12 rebounds while Devin Foster chipped in with nine points.

Foxboro, 43 @ Stoughton, 52 – FinalStoughton hit four of its seven three pointers in the final quarter to pull away from the Warriors. Matt Valle (16 points) hit three trifectas in the frame while Colin Sanda also hit one as the Black Knights won the fourth quarter 20-15. Foxboro’s Joe Morrison scored a team-high 15 points while Jamaine Few added 13 points for the Warriors.

Franklin, 55 @ Taunton, 42 – FinalTaunton turned a second half deficit (25-17) into a third quarter lead (27-25) but Franklin rattled off a 10-4 run to close the quarter and never looked back. Junior Connor Peterson led the way for the Panthers with 21 points while Paul Mahon added 12 points and Jalen Samuels chipped in with 11 points.

Stoughton, 29 @ Foxboro, 72 – FinalLily Sykes led the way for the Warriors with 19 points and Ashley Sampson chipped in with 16. Grace Tamulionis added 10 points for Foxboro. Stoughton junior Val Whalen registered 17 points and eight rebounds for the Black Knights.

Taunton, 21 @ Franklin, 63 – FinalAli Brigham was the top scorer for the Panthers with 13 points. Franklin also got 11 points from Kate Morse and nine points from Bea Bondhus.

King Philip, 34 @ Oliver Ames, 65 – FinalOliver Ames limited the Warriors to just 13 points in the first half, running away with a big win at home. Kayla Raymond scored 12 of her game-high 17 points in the first quarter to set the tone for OA. Niyera Mitchell notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds while Abby Reardon chipped in with 11 points.

North Attleboro, 73 @ Sharon, 48 – FinalCaroline Collard was the top scorer for the Rocketeers with 12 points and Emily Schromm scored 11 for North. Emma Eberhardt had a game-high 19 points for the Eagles and Faythe Gomolka scored nine.

Hockey
Taunton, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – FinalTaunton scored once in each period while Justin Chappell made 22 saves to earn the shutout win. Nick Terry netted a pair of goals while Cam Sneyd found the back of the net once. Zack Albert, Mike Volkmann, Jordan Hoey and Cam Welby each had an assist in the win.

Foxboro, 65 @ Sharon, 88 – FinalFoxboro’s Dan Egan had a first place finish in the 100 free for the Warriors.

Girls
Foxboro, 80 @ Sharon, 90 – FinalEmma Bridges came in first place in four separate events and qualified for both sectionals and states in one of them but the Warriors fell short to Sharon. Bridges qualified for states by winning the 200IM in 2:24.35. She also finished first in the 100 fly, the 200 medley relay (with Allison Curran, Lexi Nelson and Lindsey Nelson) and the 400 free relay (with Curran, Nelson and Nelson as well). Lindsey Nelson also won the 100 breaststroke.

Canton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – North Attleboro’s offense exploded for three goals, snapping Canton’s seven game unbeaten streak. Gabe Pinhancos opened the scoring in the 12th minute, finishing off a cross from Zach Matracia to put North up 1-0. Leo Charlebois doubled the lead, converting from the penalty spot after Andrew Fontaine drew the foul inside the area. Pinhancos got his second of the game in the 53rd minute, taking a through ball from Conor Danahey to put the Rocketeers up 3-0. Shawn Watters made six saves in net and North head coach Geoff Burgess said John Brennan was huge defensively for Big Red.

Foxboro, 1 @ Sharon, 2 – FinalSharon scored once in each half to pick up a key division win against Foxboro. Jake Teven opened the scoring in the first half, scoring an unassisted goal from just outside the area to put the Eagles up 1-0. Andrew Reyes-Jones doubled Sharon’s lead, converting a long throw from Tyler Hippler to make it 2-0. An own goal with three minutes to play put Foxboro on the board.

Taunton, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalCullin Anastasia scored inside the opening 10 minutes off an assist from Sam Hyland to set the tone for the Hornets. John Cooney doubled the lead in the 52nd minute, scoring off an assist from Max Gurnon and James Chotkowski iced the game in the 72nd minute off an assist from Anastasia. Nick Ferraz notched his first career shutout with four saves. Head coach Steve Sheridan had high praise for Sam Nugent, Ethan Brill-Cass, Harry Braidt, Jalaj Singh, Jake Tuleja and Gurnon for their defensive play.

Franklin, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final Kevin Hall scored the lone goal of the game in the second half on an assist from Noah Scafati to help the Panthers earn the win. Freddie Beckmann recorded the shutout in net for Franklin.

Stoughton, 1 @ Milford, 0 – FinalStoughton’s Marco Antunes scored his first goal of the season early in the second half as the Black Knights beat Milford. Noah Schulze served in a free kick that Antunes was able to eventually latch on to. Matt Gallagher recorded his second straight shutout of the year. “Milford was excellent and made us play hard for the win tonight,” Stoughton head coach Aaron Salter said. “Marco Antunes was excellent and so was my defense.” Milford head coach Brian Edwards said Andre Oliveira and Marcello Panno put in great performances in midfield for the Scarlet Hawks.

Girls Soccer
King Philip, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalKing Philip freshman Avery Snead scored a pair of goals in the first 20 minutes of the game to lead the Warriors, who qualified for the postseason with the win. Snead converted a pass from classmate Chloe Layne for the game-winner in the eighth minute and doubled the lead in the 19th minute, netting a through ball from Julia Massarone from 10 yards out. Riley Magane iced the game on a shot from just inside the area off an assist from Skylah Caruso.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Canton, 1 – FinalRiley Duserick gave Canton a lead in the first half but North Attleboro’s Aine Mendonca leveled the scoring before the break, scoring on a free kick. North Attleboro head coach Bill Wallace said Haley Guertin, Rachel LaBonte and Emily Chiasson played well for the Rocketeers.

Sharon, 2 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalAlex Rabb scored a pair of goals, putting Sharon ahead 1-0 just over 10 minutes into the game and then netting the game-winner on a free kick from 30 yards out just before halftime. Ally Filipkowski notched the assist on Rabb’s opener. Foxboro’s Kristen Bortolotti scored on a penalty kick in the first half for the Warriors.

Mansfield, 2 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalHannah Reiter netted a pair of second half goals to lead Mansfield to the win on the road.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Franklin, 0 – FinalRegan Benton had the shutout for Oliver Ames in Net. OA head coach Britt Sellmayer said Zoe Chazan, Dana Lowney and Kiana Lozzi had strong games for the Tigers.

Milford, 6 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final Gabbie Riley and Maggie Boyle each scored a pair of goals while Julianna France and Sydney Morrison each netted one goal to lead the Scarlet Hawks. Olivia Marshall notched the shutout in net for Milford.

Volleyball
Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final King Philip defended its home court with a 25-16, 25-13, 25-19 sweep of the visiting Bombardiers. Kat Kmetz led KP with 16 service points while Carly Adams had 14 service points and Sydney Phillips finished with 12 service points and had a strong game at the net. Emma Lopez had six kills and Liv Balduf finished with four kills and 10 service points for the Warriors.

Canton, 3 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final Canton dropped the second set but rebounded to get the next two for a 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20 win. “It was a gritty, hard fought battle,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Nicole Poole dished out 21 assists and added six kills and six aces to lead the Bulldogs. Emma Murphy had seven kills six blocks and two aces, Cassie Loftus had her best all around match of the season according to Cawley with five kills and some impressive defensive play. Julia Panico controlled Canton’s defense with 15 digs.

Foxboro, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – FinalSharon won the second and third sets but had to battle all the way to the fifth set to earn the win over Foxboro. Sharon junior Jess Allan led Eagles’ offense with 10 kills along with seven aces. Junior Naomi Topal added nine kills and six aces, senior Faythe Gomolka tallied 17 assists and Cori Jermyn had five aces, six digs and four blocks.

Taunton, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalMansfield picked up the sweep, 25-19, 25-19, 25-19, at home against Tainton. Chloe Peters had 14 service points and 20 assists, Jess Haradon had 11 digs and eight service points, Meg Hill added 11 kills and Lexi Gardner chipped in with six service points .

Franklin, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – FinalFranklin picked up a big division win in five sets on the road at Oliver Ames. Erin Skidmore led the Panthers with 12 kills while adding 23 digs and a pair of aces. Maddie Kuzio also had two aces while leading Franklin with 31 digs. Lauren McGrath had 31 assists to go along with an ace and Maggie Doyle had six kills and five blocks.

Franklin, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final Franklin punched its ticket to the state tournament with an impressive win on the road. Sophomores Annie Walsh and Cassi Ronan each had scored two goals and grabbed an assist to lead the Panthers. Senior Kayla Marshall added a goal and senior Caroline Lounsbury had an assist. Franklin sophomore goalie Christina Lucini made four saves to get the win in net. Franklin head coach Lisa Cropper said Dana Lewandowski and Kate Morse had outstanding games through the midfield and on defense.

Stoughton, 5 @ Milford, 3 – FinalOlivia Schlehuber scored a pair of goals for Stoughton, while Kayla Oliviera, Mia Russell and Julia Russell scored once to pace the Black Knights.

Golf
Sharon, 167 @ Oliver Ames, 146 – FinalOliver Ames’ Brady Allbritton and Mark Bissonette shared medalist honors, both shooting 36 for the Tigers. Nolan Donze and Thomas Walsh each shot 37 for Oliver Ames. Sharon’s Andrew Glover and Max Avratin each shot 41.

Canton, 165 @ Attleboro, 178 – FinalCanton’s Joey Vaughan earned match medalist honors after shooting a low-round of 40 for the Bulldogs. Danny Powers shot a 41 and both Jackson Maffeo and Matt Minichiello carded a round of 42. Attleboro’s Corey McKenna shot a team-low 41 on the day.

Milford, 169 @ King Philip, 180 – FinalRyan Tomaso earned match medalist honors, shooting a round-low 36 for the Scarlet Hawks. Anthony Arcudi shot a 40 for Milford while Danny McLoughlin carded a team-low round of 41 for KP.

Marco Antunes set up Lucas’ first goal, sending in a cross for Lucas to finish with a volley. Brian Peoples sent Lucas in on a through ball for the second goal and Lucas completed his hat trick by cleaning up a rebound. Stoughton head coach Aaron Salter noted the strong play of Tyler Melo and Luis Nascimento. Foxboro sophomore Shane VandenBoom score the lone goal for the Warriors.

Sharon, 1 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Sharon took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break after going ahead in the 20th minute but the Rocketeers found the equalizer in the second half. Leo Charlebois tied the game in the 63rd minute after Jeff Gale – in his varsity debut – set it up with a hustle play to force a turnover.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalColby Koch scored off an assist by Jack Bush and Larsen Keys scored from a Tyler Mann assist to give KP a 2-0 lead at halftime. James Gillespie pulled one back late for OA on an assist by Matt Campbell, but the Warriors hold on to stay unbeaten.

North Attleboro, 4 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – North Attleboro junior Haley Guertin netted a hat trick to pace the Rocketeers’ offense on Friday. Ashlyn Gaulin also scored for Big Red while Aine Mendonca and Emma Gaulin each notched an assist.

King Philip, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalThe Tigers got goals from Lauren Wright, Gabi McLaughlin, and Abby Reardon in the win.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final Oliver Ames’ Bridget McCarthy recorded her 1,000th assist in the win, becoming the first Tiger to do so in program history.

Sharon, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Canton notched a 25-18, 25-15, 25-18 sweep in what head coach Pat Cawley called a total team effort. Cassie Loftus led Canton with six kills and three blocks and Casey Shea added five kills and four blocks. Malia Claiborne had four aces and Maria Mackie added three aces and played well at the net. Sharon junior Jess Allan led the Eagles offense with 13 kills, senior Natalie Kane added six kills and two block kills and senior Faythe Gomolka had 13 assists from her setting position.

Franklin, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield won the opening set but dropped the second to the visiting Panthers. However, the Hornets bounced back with two straight set wins to earn the match win, 25-10, 23-25, 25-16, 25-18. Mansfield’s Jacey Anderson had 18 service points, Anna Kemp had 19 service point and Jess Haradon played great defense and had 26 digs. Erin Skidmore led Franklin with 11 kills, two aces and 18 digs while Lauren McGrath had 18 assists, five digs and two aces and Meaghan Maguire added three blocks

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – Stoughton sophomore Molly Turner tallied 10 assists and head coach Erica Batchelder said Turner was a dominant presence at the net.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip pulled out a close win in the first set and went on to pick up a sweep, 25-23, 25-17, 25-11. Carly Adams had 19 service points to lead KP and added 16 assists, Sydney Phillips paced the offense with 11 kills, Amanda Loewen added nine digs and Elise Pereira chipped in with four digs.

Sharon, 1 vs. Norwell, 0 – Final Sarah Schultz scored the lone goal of the game to lead the Eagles to their first win of the season.

Stoughton, 4 @ Norwood, 3 – FinalFor the second time in as many days, Stoughton had a player record a hat trick. Loubensky Lucas netted his first hat trick of the season, a day after he scored a pair of goals and classmate Jordan Asnes recorded a hat trick against Milford. Sophomore Fabio Ponce De Leon opened his account on the season, putting Stoughton ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute of a feed from Asnes. Ponce De Leon set Lucas up a minute later for a 2-0 lead. Stoughton added two goals early in the second half as Lucas took a pass from Tyler Melo and finished from inside the area and then scored on a penalty kick a minute later.

Girls Soccer
Stoughton, 2 vs. Norwood, 2 – Final – Freshman Abby Kashian and junior Emerson Sprague each scored for the Black Knights while head coach Tara Daniels said Gabby Diaz, Sarah Widrow, and Isabel Solem helped Stoughton keep possession throughout the game.

Volleyball
Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalThe Mansfield Hornets picked up a comfortable win at home, emerging with a 25-8, 25-12, 25-14 win. Meg Hill led Mansfield with 12 kills while Julia Harrison added nine kills. Chloe Peters had 19 service points, and Anna Kemp and Jolie O’Neil each had seven service points for the Hornets.

Canton, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – It might have been on a sweep, but it was a tight battle between Davenport foes Canton and Milford. Canton came away with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-22 win. “Both sides fought hard and played great defense,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Canton outside hitter Hannah Jerrier led the Bulldogs with seven kills and Erika Lum had six kills and 13 digs. Middles Emma Murphy and Casey Shea each had four kills and combined for 10 blocks. “We played our best team defense of the year,” Cawley said, led by libero Julia Panico with 24 digs and aided by Emily Lynch and Maria Mackie, who combined for 17 digs.

Foxboro, 2 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final – Stoughton and Foxboro battled back and forth but the Black Knights shut the door with an emphatic 15-2 win in the fifth and final set. Stoughton junior Val Whalen led the Black Knights offense with 20 kills while senior Christina Gelin dominated the back row with 41 digs. Senior Riley Bagley added 20 digs for Stoughton.

Sharon, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – For Sharon, junior Jess Allan led the offense with eight kills and two aces, senior Natalie Kane had 12 blocks and three kills and setters Faythe Gomolka and Arianna Chabot combined for 15 assists. Chabot also went 16 for 16 at the service line.

Franklin, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Franklin earned its third straight sweep, beating Taunton on the road. Maddie Kuzio had five aces and four digs, Lizzie Boynton had seven assists and four aces and Erin Skidmore had five kills, five digs and a pair of aces and blocks in the win.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Cristina Boudreau and Kayla Lozzi each scored a goal and added an assist as Oliver Ames blanked Attleboro on the road. Kayla Lozzi and Liz Nuss each scored once while Rachel Stryke registered an assist.

Sharon, 0 @ Canton, 6 – FinalJulia Ezepik registered a hat trick to pace Canton’s offense in the win.

Foxboro, 5 @ Milford, 0 – FinalLily Daly scored a pair of goals and had a pair of assists to lead the Warriors. Foxboro jumped out to a 3-0 lead by halftime behind both of Daly’s goals – one off an assist from Emma Daly, the other unassisted. Sophia DiCenso also scored in the first half on an assist from Lily Daly. Jenna Stamatov and Carlie Stern scored one for Foxboro and Caroline Wheatley added an assist.

Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final – Franklin head coach Lisa Cropper had high praise for sophomore goalie Christina Lucini, who made 12 saves to earn the shutout. “She was outstanding,” Cropper said. Cropper also lauded the effort of senior Maddie Derby, who she called “a stalwart on defense,” which included a defensive save behind Lucini.

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – Stoughton’s Gianna Barbosa and North Attleboro’s Liz Morehouse earned the shutouts in goal.

Jack Goyetch added a 40 while Jackson Maffeo, Joey Vaughan and Bubba McNeice each shot 41. Stoughton’s Josh Roos and Brendan Campbell each carded a round of 44 for the Black Knights.

Milford, 153 vs. Hopedale, 160 – Final – Ryan Tomaso shot a 34, Anthony Arcudi added a 38 and Tylor Renaud carded a 39 to lead the Scarlet Hawks.

King Philip, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – King Philip went on the road and picked up a convincing 25-13, 25-14, 25-6 win. Sydney Phillips led KP with nine kills while Liv Balduf added six kills and Jess Stoffel had a pair of kills and a pair of blocks. Amanda Loewen chipped in with two aces, one kill and four digs while Carly Adams finished with 19 assists.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final Erika Lum led the Bulldogs with 11 kills, hitting at a .323 clip. Casey Shea had six kills and Emma Murphy chipped in with five blocks, four kills and five digs while Nicole Poole had 21 assists and four kills and Julia Panico had 21 digs.

Sharon, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Sharon junior Jess Allan led the Eagles’ offense with 13 kills and a 93% serving average while classmate Cori Jermyn added three aces. Natalie Kane added four kills and Faythe Gomolka had 12 assists and four aces.

Mansfield, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – The Hornets opened their Kelley-Rex slate with an impressive road win at Taunton, picking up a 25-19, 25-21, 25-19 win. Julia Harrison had a strong serving day, picking up 12 service points and finished with seven kills. Emily Kleber added nine kills for Mansfield while Chloe Peters had 28 assists.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Franklin earned the sweep over Oliver Ames with a 25-17, 25-15, 25-20. Erin Skidmore had five kills, five digs and four aces, Maggie Doyle had four kills, three aces and a block and Lizzie Boynton added six assists and four aces for the Panthers.
