Attleboro, 1 @ Bishop Feehan, 5 – Final – Junior Matt Callahan gave up three runs on five hits over four innings in his first varsity start. The Bombardiers managed only five hits, two of them by John Burns. Jon Dunn scored the lone Attleboro run on a fielder’s choice by Brendan Galvao.

Franklin, 4 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Sophomore Jake Noviello struck out six in six innings of work, scattering five hits to get the win. Matt Foley, Ryan Hodgkins, Joe Corsi and Tyler Gomes each knocked in a run for Franklin. Oliver Ames’ Josh Minuskin was 2/3 with an RBI and a run scored and sophomore Matt Muir had a pair of hits and reached base three times total. 

Softball
Attleboro, 2 vs. Bishop Feehan, 6 – Final

Taunton, 12 vs. New Bedford, 0 – Final (6 inn.) – Aimee Kistner tossed a no hitter, fanning nine batters and issuing just one walk. At the plate, Kistner was 2/2 with a double and a pair of RBI, Kya Enos was 3/4 with two RBI, Jordan Wade was 2/2 with a double and two RBI and Liana Duarte was 2/4 with a triple and two RBI. 

Boys Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 7 vs. Whitman-Hanson, 11 – Final

Girls Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 10 @ Whitman-Hanson, 9 – Final – Ariana Waldorf shined in goal with 14 saves for the Tigers as OA held off a late push from Whitman-Hanson. Abby Duvall and Sam Lang each scored three goals, Sofia Masciarelli scored twice and Carly Cidado had three assists. Erin Fitzgerald had a goal and an assist while Hannah Friend had one goal and Kendall Clifford had an assist. Head coach Craig Gardner credited Cidado, Sarah Lewis, Cassie Gavin, Katie Davenport and Olivia Piazza with strong defensive games.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Taunton, 27 – Final (5 inn.) – Kya Enos hit for the cycle, driving in eight runs to lead Taunton. Jordan Wade went 3-3, including a grand slam, finishing with six RBI. Aimee Kistner, Liana Duarte, Jaime Brown and Amber Wainwright all had RBIs for Taunton. 

Sharon, 19 @ Ursuline Academy, 7 – Final – Senior Rachel Usen went 3/5 at the plate, knocking in a pair of runs and freshman Allie Small was 2/4 with an RBI and four runs scored to lead the Eagles. Clara Cooke struck out seven to get the win while hitting a pair of doubles and driving in four runs at the plate. 

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro, 11 vs. Norton, 4 – Final

Canton, 14 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Senior Ben O’Neill, junior Ryan Lodge and freshman Mike Shaw all scored three goals to lead the Bulldogs. O’Neill and Shaw each had a trio of assists as well and Lodge had two helpers. Junior Shaun Kirby had a pair of goals and three assists. Taunton’s Andrew Wellington scored for the Tigers.

Franklin, 7 @ BC High, 10 – Final

Mansfield, 12 @ Barnstable, 10 – Final – Mansfield trailed 7-4 at halftime but rallied for a 8-3 second half to get the win. Sophomore Hunter Ferreira scored a team-high five goals, three in the second half. Billy Grant scored four goals and had two assists while Danny DeGirolamo, Connor Finerty and Ryan Smith each scored once. Sean Powers made 16 saves in net.

North Attleboro, 7 @ Bishop Feehan, 8 – Final (4OT)

Boys Tennis

Franklin, 5 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – Juniors Rahul Herur and Eli Brooks each battled through three sets to get wins in singles to lead the Panthers. Herur won 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 at first singles and Brooks won 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 at second singles. Tom Mancini picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. Cam Piana and James Johnston won 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles and Dan Barrow and Jeremy Gan won 6-1, 6-2 at second doubles. 

North Attleboro, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – North Attleboro won all five matches in straight sets to get the victory. Mitchell Dyer won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles, Barsomo Nuay won 6-0, 6-1 at second singles and Zack Pfeffer won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Jeff Yao and Jake Fontes won 6-0, 6-1 at first doubles and Ben Pfeffer and Daniel Zhang won 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles.

Canton @ Mansfield, 3:45

Foxboro, 3 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Foxboro used wins at second and third singles and first doubles to get the win. Sophomore Sophia Prinos won 6-1, 6-2 at second singles and junior Lexi Nelson won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Sophomore Kayla Prag and freshman Julia Muise paired together for a 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 win at first doubles. Franklin’s Hannah Sweeney won a marathon match at first singles, 6-2, 0-6, 7-6 (8-6) and Selina Wu and Sarah Lobo teamed together for a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win at second doubles.

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – North Attleboro’s three single players all walked away with sweeps, not dropping a single set on Friday. Jordan Willis (first singles), Allie Grinavic (second) and Emily Chiasson (third) all won 6-0, 6-0. Jhanavi Kapadia and Gabby Duva won 6-2, 6-1 at first doubles and Katie Demontigny and Azka Siddiq won 6-2, 6-1 at second doubles.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Taunton, 4 – Final – A pair of wins in singles and a pair of wins in doubles play propelled Taunton. Jordan Pagliuca won 6-1, 6-2 at first singles and Olivia Sweeney won 6-2, 6-1 at second singles. Kelsey Hebert and Ashleigh Eason won 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 at first doubles and Caroline Hebert and Jillian Pagliuca won 6-3, 6-4 at at second doubles.

Boys Basketball
Mansfield, 64 @ Attleboro, 52 – Final – Mansfield clinched a share of the Kelley-Rex title with the win. The Hornets have won four straight Kelley-Rex titles and sixth in the last seven years. Sam Goldberg had 12 points and seven rebounds, Christian Weber added 11 points and six assists and Max Boen had nine points and five assists. Mansfield head coach Mike Vaughan won his 200th career game. 

Canton, 48 @ Milford, 71 – Final – The Scarlet Hawks won their fifth game in the last six to clinch a playoff berth. Dimitry Torres led Milford with 23 points while Dwight Anderson added 16 points, Jack DeSantis chipped in with a career-high 10 points and Josh Andonian finished seven points. Canton freshman Devin Foster had a career-high 16 points and sophomore Tony Harris added 15 points.

Sharon, 73 @ Foxboro, 84 – Final (OT) – Jason Procaccini scored a game-high 24 points as the Warriors held on after a rally from the Eagles. Rob Lowey added 14 points while Alex DuBrow, Jonathan Carnino and Mark Clagg all chipped in with 10 points apiece. 

Franklin, 77 @ North Attleboro, 39 – Final – Freshman Jay Dieterle dropped in a team-high 19 points as the Panthers claimed their first league title since 2012. With the win, Franklin won a share of the Kelley-Rex title with Mansfield. Sophomore Connor Peterson had 12 points and senior Tim Prunier added 10 points.

Oliver Ames, 74 @ Stoughton, 55 – Final – Junior Carter Evin scored a career-high 28 points and pulled in 10 rebounds. Dylan Mahoney added 15 points, Nick Welch had 11 points and Tim Kelley added 10 points for OA. Jared Costa-Haywood led the Black Knights with 17 points, Cam Gomes had 12 points and sophomore Cam Andrews chipped in with 10 points. Senior captain Nick Quattrucci hauled in seven rebounds.

King Philip, 56 vs. Dartmouth, 60 – Final – King Philip rallied from a 13 point halftime deficit but the Indians were able to hold on. Seth Sullivan had a team-high 18 points while sophomore Justin Vine added 15 points.

Milford, 62 @ Canton, 47 – Final

Foxboro, 57 @ Sharon, 49 – Final – Foxboro had four players reach double figures for scoring. Lily Sykes led the Warriors with 16 points while Ashley Sampson added 13 points, Grace Tamulionis had 12 points and Carolynn Will finished with 10 points. Sharon was led by Alyssa Piazza with 20 points and four steals, while Charlotte Ransom had seven points, all in the fourth quarter. Shira Stoller had seven assists and Emma Eberhardt had 11 points for the Eagles.

North Attleboro, 45 @ Franklin, 54 – Final
Attleboro, 43 @ Mansfield, 56 – Final – The Hornets clinched the Kelley-Rex division title with the win. It is the second in the program’s history. Jen Peel led the way with 18 points and five assists. Meg Hill added 11 points and 15 rebounds and Juliana Newell scored 12 for Mansfield. Attleboro was led by Sarah Deyo, who finished with 15 points. Sam Pierce added 10 for the Bombardiers.

Stoughton, 32 @ Oliver Ames, 63 – Final – Sophomore Kayla Raymond led the Tigers with a game-high 16 points while Kaitlyn McCarthy added 13 points and Niyera Mitchell had 12 points. 
Taunton, 48 vs. New Bedford, 17 – Final – Senior Kia Pate led Taunton with 11 points, sophomore Hannah Moniz added nine points, senior Alyssa Gibson finished with eight points and senior Jordan Wade chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.
Hockey

Boys Basketball
Attleboro, 43 @ Mansfield, 61 – Final – Mansfield built a double-digit lead by halftime and never looked back. Matt Ehrlich had a team-high 14 points and added four rebounds, Sam Goldberg had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists and Max Boen (four rebounds), Tyler Boulter and Phil Vigeant each had six points for the Hornets. Jake Dunkley had a game-high 15 points for Attleboro, Lucas Boucicaut added 12 points and Kyle Murphy had eight points and 10 rebounds.

Milford, 68 @ Canton, 50 – Final – Dimitry Torres netted a career-high 26 points to spark the Scarlet Hawks to a road win at Canton. Dwight Anderson added 15 points and Josh Andonian chipped in with 10 points for Milford.

Foxboro, 46 @ Sharon, 49 – Final – David Roelke hit a three as time expired to lift Sharon to a key Davenport division win. Roelke had a team-high 12 points while Peter Banks (eight rebounds) and Bryce Smith each had 10 points. Foxboro’s Jason Procaccini had a game-high 18 points and added 11 rebounds and six steals. Alex DuBrow had 13 points and Rob Lowey had seven points and 14 rebounds. 

North Attleboro, 57 @ Franklin, 60 – Final – Tim Prunier hit two free throws down the stretch to stretch the Panthers’ lead to three as Franklin outlasted North Attleboro. The Rocketeers trailed by nine at halftime but rallied to get a 45-44 lead heading into the final period. Prunier finished with a team-best 18 points while freshman Jay Dieterle added 13 points and sophomore Connor Peterson had 11 points. North junior Brent Doherty also had 18 points, Kyle McCarthy scored a career-high 13 points in his first start and Mario Bresko added 11 points. 

King Philip, 54 @ Taunton, 62 – Final – King Philip led for three quarters but Taunton was able to overcome the deficit and get the win in the final quarter. Senior Carlos Borrero scored all 11 of his points in the second half and senior Jose Mercado finished with a game-high 17 points. Tommy MacLean added 13 points. Sophomore Tom Madden had a team-high 13 points for KP, who also got 10 points from Seth Sullivan and Pharoah David each. 

Stoughton, 48 @ Oliver Ames, 70 – Final – Dylan Mahoney had a team-high 15 points while Tim Kelley, Shawn Cardoza and Nick Welch all added 11 points apiece in the Tigers’ big win. 
Girls Basketball
Canton, 47 @ Milford, 42 – Final – Kate Irwin was Milford’s top scorer with 10 points in the win. Jill Powers and Nicole Dahlgren each added nine for the Hawks.

Sharon, 20 @ Foxboro, 50 – Final – Ashley Sampson had a game-high 15 points, Grace Tamulionis added 11 points and MacKenzie Anderson chipped in with six points. 

Franklin, 63 @ North Attleboro, 47 – Final – Franklin broke open a three-point game at the half with a 20-5 run in the third quarter. Carli Koffinke was the top scorer for the Panthers with 13, while Aubrie Kutil added a double-double with 11 points. Lauren Rudolph for Franklin and Olivia Adiletto eight. Emily Peters scored 20 points for the Rocketeers in a losing effort. 

Taunton, 41 @ King Philip, 50 – Final – KP outscored the Tigers 15-5 in the fourth quarter to get the win. Rylie Dalzell led the Warriors with 13 points. KP also got 10 points each from Maddie Purdue and Christina Hathaway. Taunton sophomore Hannah Moniz had a game-high 14 points and freshman Lily Patneaude chipped in with nine points for the Tigers. 

Mansfield, 38 @ Attleboro, 48 – Final – The Bombardiers finished the game with a 9-0 run in the final 4:27 to clinch the win. Sam Pierce led Attleboro with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Sarah Deyo had 13 points and 12 boards and Emily Houle had nine points for the Bombardiers. Mansfield was led by Jen Peel with 11 points and five assists. Meg Hill added nine points, 11 rebounds, and eight blocks.

Oliver Ames, 51 @ Stoughton, 34 – Final – Francesca Calabraro led all scorers with a season-high 23 points and added eight steals while classmate Niyera Mitchell had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Milford, 30 @ Oliver Ames, 47 – FinalWith the victory, OA coach Laney Clement-Holbrook ties the state career wins record with 633. Senior Kaitlyn McCarthy was the high scorer for the Tigers with nine points and classmate Sam Bamford added eight points.
North Attleboro, 46 @ Taunton, 47 – FinalJordan Wade was the top scorer for the Tigers with 16 points. Alyssa Gibson had seven points and 14 rebounds and sophomore Hannah Moniz scored eight points for Taunton, which has now won two in a row.
Stoughton, 52 @ Sharon, 49 – Final – Jess Greer led the Black Knights with 18 points and Alecia Quinones chipped in with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Angela Wallace had a career-high 15 points for Sharon and Shira Stoller and Alyssa Piazza each had 11.

Oliver Ames @ Masconomet Quad – The Tigers went 3-0 to improve to 19-5 on the season. OA beat Arlington 51-12, Masco 48-32, and Burlington 42-32. Anthony Berksza (138) went 3-0 in the meet and Ryan Lehane (152) went 3-0 with three pins.

Tuesday’s Schedule & Scoreboard – 01/19/16

Boys Basketball
Attleboro, 57 @ Sharon, 73 – Final – Attleboro cut a 10-point Sharon lead at halftime down to two in the third quarter but the Eagles were able to pull away. Sharon hit 12 three pointers between three players – senior Matt Lowerre hit five, sophomore Jimmy Fitzhenry hit four and senior Tyler Smith had three. Fitzhenry finished with a game-high 20 points and Lowerre had 17 points. Attleboro junior Jake Dunkley had 19 points and nine rebounds and sophomore Nate Douglas chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds. 

King Philip, 66 @ Canton, 53 – Final – King Philip stormed out to a 20-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Senior Ben Smith his six three pointers for a game-high 18 points, freshman Kyle Layman had 15 points and eight rebounds, junior Noah Goodwin had 13 points and junior Pharoah Davis had 12 points. Canton senior Griffin Jerrier scored a team-high 13 points for the Bulldogs. 

Mansfield, 51 @ Foxboro, 69 – Final – Foxboro used an 11-0 run in the middle of the second quarter to create separation while its defense prevent Mansfield from gathering any momentum offensively. Foxboro senior Alex DuBrow scored a game-high 22 points and had eight rebounds, senior Rob Lowey had 16 points and eight rebounds and senior Jason Procaccini added 14 points and five rebounds. Mansfield junior Sam Goldberg had 10 points to lead the Hornets. 

Franklin, 83 @ Stoughton, 63 – Final – The Panthers held a six point lead at halftime (41-35) as the two teams combined for over 75 points in the first half. Franklin had a 23 point third quarter and added 19 more points in the final quarter. Sophomore Connor Peterson had a game-high 16 points while senior Tim Prunier and freshman Jay Dieterle each added 15 points for Franklin. Stoughton senior Brandon Teixeira had a team-high 14 points for the Black Knights. 

Taunton, 62 @ Milford, 50 – Final – Milford held a four point lead at halftime and at the end of the third quarter but Taunton won the fourth quarter 29-13 to get the win. Taunton junior Tommy MacLean scored 20 points in the win for the Tigers. Milford sophomore Kayden Kelley had 14 points and 15 rebounds, Dimitry Torres added 11 points and Dwight Anderson had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Scarlet Hawks. 

North Attleboro, 74 @ Oliver Ames, 70 – Final – Brent Doherty scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Rocketeers. North Attleboro held a 20 point lead at halftime (44-24) but Oliver Ames stormed back with 25 points in the third quarter and 13 more in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime tied 62-62-. Doherty connected on seven three pointers and went 3/4 from the free throw line in overtime. Sophomore Mario Bresko finished with seven points, including a key three pointer in overtime. Junior Jonny Friberg scored a career-high 18 points and had 10 rebounds for North. Oliver Ames’ Carter Evin scored 21 of his career-high 26 points in the second half to help OA get back into it. Tim Kelley added 23 points and senior Shawn Cardoza had nine points for the Tigers.

Canton, 38 @ King Philip, 56 – FinalThe Warriors turned the game around with a 22-4 second quarter. Shannon O’Connor was the top scorer for KP with 10. Sam Madden and Julia Lerouix each scored nine for the Warriors. Canton was led by Emma Murphy with nine points.
Foxboro, 45 @ Mansfield, 49 – Final – Jen Peel was Mansfield’s top scorer with 14 points. Juliana Newell added 10 points and pulled in 12 rebounds and Meg Hill grabbed 14 boards. Cassidy Harrison had a game-high 19 points to lead the Warriors.
Stoughton, 35 @ Franklin, 55 – FinalOlivia Adiletto was the top scorer for Franklin with 13 points. Lauren Rudolph added 11 for the Panthers, who had 10 players on the score sheet. Stoughton was led by Alecia Quinones with 11 points.

Milford was led by Katie Irwin with 12 points and Nicole Dahlgren added 10.
