King Philip, 2 @ Attleboro, 5 – FinalRyan Morry threw a complete game, allowing only five hits and one earned run, in his first varsity start. Mason Houle went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI to spark the Bombardiers offense.

Sharon, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalFoxboro’s Steve McLaughlin had a strong outing, allowing just three hits over six innings of work and no earned runs. He struck out seven in the Warriors’ loss.

North Attleboro, 11 @ Canton, 5 – FinalCanton held a 2-1 lead after an inning of play but North Attleboro’s offense proved to be too much. The Rocketeers tied and then took the lead with four runs in the fourth inning and never looked back. Nate Pearce’s sacrifice fly scored Nick Sinacola to tie it and Nick Raneri had a two-run single to plate Jeff Gale and Zach DeMattio (two hits, RBI) to take the lead. Raneri (four RBI) went on to add another two-out two-RBI single in the sixth inning and the Rocketeers tacked on three runs in the seventh inning for insurance. Brendan McHugh was on base five times (hit, four walks), scored twice and had an RBI. Sinacola got the win on the mound, striking out six in six innings of work, retiring the side in the third, fourth, and fifth innings.

Milford, 4 @ Stoughton, 5 – FinalStoughton senior Ruben Gonzalez put his speed to good use for the Black Knights, stealing third and then coming home for the winning run on an errant throw to help the Black Knights walk off with a win. Gonzalez had two hits, three runs, and three stolen bases to pace Stoughton. He also earned the win on the mound, throwing 0.2 innings with a strikeout. Robbie Seaman went 2-for-2, including a double, with two runs and a stolen base, Mike Nazzaro had two hits and two RBI, and Matt Hadley chipped in with an RBI double for the Black Knights. Milford’s Danny Corsini tossed six innings, allowing just three earned runs.

Softball
Attleboro, 1 @ King Philip, 9 – FinalThe game was tied at 1-1 in the fourth, but the Warriors broke the game wide open with an eight-run inning. Faith Turinese singled to start that rally and then also hit a two-run homer in the same inning. Jess Bonner also had a pair of hits, including a homer, and Brooke Taute and Nicole Carter had a pair of hits apiece for the Warriors. Elise Pereira allowed only one hit in four innings of work, which was a home run off the bat of Attleboro’s McKenzie Bergdoll. Turinese pitched the final three innings and allowed only two hits and no runs.

Canton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 12 – Final (6 Inn.)The Rocketeers bounced back from a tough loss to King Philip with a shutout of the Bulldogs. Bella Erti struck out 12 and allowed only three hits to earn the win. Olivia Capobianco scored a pair of runs, while Emily Nardelli, Annabelle Hebard, and Andrea Miceli each had two hits for North. Kasey Papineau, Gina Manganaro, and Jaclyn Buckley each had one hit in the win.

Foxboro, 11 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalAlli Small scored the lone run of the game for the Eagles.

Franklin, 14 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final (5 inn.)Franklin scored five runs in the first inning to set the tone and tacked on at least a run in each of the next four innings to beat OA. Maddie White went 4-for-4 at the play, including a three-run home run for the Panthers. Ally Shea went 3-for-4, Anna Balkus added two hits, two runs, and an RBI, and Tara Hartnett chipped in with two hits and three RBI. Molly Collins scored three runs as a courtesy runner for Franklin. Caroline Mahoney went 2-for-3 and scored a run in the loss. Kayla Georgeu was 1-for-2 with an RBI-double and Lexie Campbell scored OA’s other run.

Taunton, 7 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalJaylin Couto earned her fourth win of the season with a complete game, striking out eight. Jaime Brown was 2-for-4 for the Tigers with three runs scored and one RBI. Taunton also got a pair of hits from McKenzie McAloon and Payton Ceglarski and one hit and two RBI from Kya Enos. The Hornets had seven hits as a team and had base runners in all but the first inning, but couldn’t find the big hit with runners on base. Sydney Woods and Mady Bendanillo each went 2-for-3 and Caty DeMassi, Ella Verheggen, and Mary Muldoon each had one hit for Mansfield.

Stoughton, 0 @ Milford, 12 – Final (5 Inn.)Kate Irwin slapped three hits, including the 100th of her career, and scored two runs to help the Hawks beat visiting Stoughton. Emily Piergustavo (three RBI, run), Emily Hartman (triple, three RBI), Jess Tomaso (two runs), Shannon Cormier (run) and Kelley Reichert (two RBI) each had a pair of hits for Milford. Reichert earned the win in the circle, striking out six while allowing just two hits.

Boys Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 19 @ Bellingham, 8 – FinalEric LeBlanc scored a pair of goals and recorded an assist to become the program’s all-time leading scorer, as the Tigers clinched just their second tournament berth in the last 10 years. Shane Kilkelly, Sandro Masciarelli, and Owen Gallagher each scored four goals apiece for OA.

Canton, 6 @ Sharon, 12 – FinalBridget McManus was commanding in the Sharon defense with two forced turnovers and six ground balls, helping the Eagles sweep the season series with the Bulldogs. Emma Eberhardt sparked the attack with five goals and five assists, while Sabrina Robbins had a hat trick and a pair of assists. Abbi Solomon had two goals and two assists, Jenna Goldstein had two goals, and Maeve Barbera had one assist for the Eagles.

Foxboro, 10 @ Natick, 9 – Final

Franklin, 18 @ North Attleboro, 5 – FinalFranklin sophomore Erin Walsh recorded six points and classmate Kelsey MacCallum added five points as the Panthers picked up a big win on the road. Walsh had five goals and one assist while MacCallum scored three times and had two helpers. Alex Field played well defensively for the Panthers with three ground balls and two caused turnovers while sophomore Gianna Cameron made eight saves in net. Kayla Moulin made 10 saves for North and head coach Colleen Carchedi said that the defense played “awesome” but that the Rocketeers couldn’t get the attack going. Carchedi said that Katie Lindstrom had a great game.

Mansfield, 6 @ King Philip, 18 – FinalThe Warriors had seven different goal scorers and held the Hornets without a goal in the second half to stay ahead of Mansfield in the battle for second in the Kelley-Rex division. Caroline Klim led the way with five goals and two assists and Dana Truini added four goals and an assist. KP also got three goals and an assist from Jess Sullivan, two goals apiece from Alli Meehan and Olivia Tormey, and one goal apiece from Jenna Hitchen and Ali Wilson.

Oliver Ames, 16 vs. Bellingham, 5 – FinalOliver Ames had eight different players find the back of the net in a win at home over Bellingham. Ella Hogan scored four goals while Olivia Piazza registered three and added one assist. Alex O’Connor, Sam Cathie, and Sarah Stevens each netted a pair of goals while Kayla Lozzi, Sofia Masciarelli, and Emalyn Duvall rounded out the scoring with one goal apiece.

Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – FinalKing Philip lost just one game in all five matches to beat visiting Attleboro. Marco DiStefano (first singles), Nick Putney (second singles), the team of Sean Desrochers and Nate Ihley (first doubles), and Aidan Ignatius and Nick Ihley (second doubles) all won 6-0, 6-0. KP’s Jack Cannon won 6-1, 6-0 at second singles.

Canton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – FinalNorth Attleboro’s singles players didn’t lose a game in any of the three matches in a win over Canton. Richard Bermudez, Christian Bermudez, and Jonah Manso swept singles play, 6-0, 6-0, each. The team of Ben Pfeffer and Vikram Senthilakumaran won 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles while Alex Rinaldi and Alex Pfeffer prevailed 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles.

Foxboro, 0 @ Sharon, 5 – FinalSharon completed a sweep of visiting Foxboro, winning both doubles matches in straight sets. Andre Olivei won 6-0, 6-4 at first singles, Danujan Thirumavalavan won 6-1, 6-2 at second singles, and Ashwin Sreevetsa won 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 at third singles for the Eagles. Max Brody and Russell Rapaport won 6-3, 6-4 at first doubles and Arie Chinnappan and Alex Aspel picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win at second doubles.

Franklin, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – FinalFranklin lost only two games total in the five patches to notch a win on the road. Rohan Herur won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles for the Panthers. Franklin’s Tyler DiPalma (second singles), Tyler DiPalma (third singles), the team of Tony Calderone and Derek Wu (first doubles) and the team of Saketh Saripalli and Shourmik Sompally (second doubles) all won 6-0, 6-0.

Taunton, 2 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalMansfield grabbed one win in singles play and swept doubles play to edge Taunton. Luke Nickerson won 6-4, 6-3 at first singles, the team of Jalaj Singh and Sethu won 6-1, 6-2 at first singles, and Danny Radev and Ben Selden won 6-2, 6-0 at second doubles. Taunton’s Brett Beaulieu won 6-0, 6-0 at second doubles and Mike Briggs notched a 6-4, 6-1 win at third singles.

Stoughton, 4 @ Milford, 1 – FinalStoughton picked up a pair of wins in both singles and doubles play to get a victory on the road. Freshman Waseem Sablon won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles and junior Erik Anderson won 6-4, 6-0 at second singles.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Canton, 2 – FinalNorth Attleboro recorded two wins in singles play and one more in doubles to edge Canton. Senior Jordan Willis won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles and Azka Siddiq earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at third singles. North earned its third point from Tara Nair and Leah Marceau won 6-4, 6-2 win at second doubles. Canton’s Rachel Kupferman won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles and the team of Caitlin Matthews and Stelina Michaelidis earned a 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 (10-8) win at first doubles.

Sharon, 4 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalNupur Shukla (6-2, 6-4) and Lulu Yuan (6-0, 6-0) both won their singles matches for the Eagles and the doubles teams of Katie Wen and Katie Merport (6-1, 6-0) and Rithika Neti and Sophia Fein (6-0, 6-1) also earned victories for Sharon.

Tate Hadges (6-3, 6-1) won in straight sets at second singles, as did Maura Kiernan (6-1, 6-2) at third singles. Kristin Bloumbas and Emily Yu won 6-2, 6-0 at first doubles and Kathryn McCarthy made her varsity debut at second doubles with Rachel Stryke and pulled out a 6-1, 7-5 victory.

After being limited to two goals in his previous game, Franklin senior Eric Civetti exploded for 10 points, scoring six goals and adding four assists to lead the Panthers. Jake Davis added three goals, Matt Lazzaro scored twice and had one assist and Jacob Alexander went 13-for-16 at the faceoff X. Connor O’Rourke made three saves in net while Will Davis came in to make five saves in the second half.

Sabrina Robbins had four goals and an assist, while also pulling in four draw controls, while Emma Eberhardt dominated all over the field – scoring four goals, recording six assists, grabbing six ground balls and 11 draw controls. Jenna Goldstein had two goals and two assists, while Abbi Solomon had a pair of goals for Sharon. Cass Barbera, Maeve Barbera, Christina Linehan and Maxine Gordon each scored once for the Eagles and goalie Rose Wald made five saves. Vicky Revanche made 18 saves in goal for Canton.

Franklin, 7 @ King Philip, 6 – Final (2OT)Franklin sophomore Erin Walsh scored the game-winning goal on a feed from classmate Kelsey MacCallum to help the Panthers pick up a win on the road at KP. The Tigers had a strong defensive game, totaling 13 blocks as a team. Offensively, McKenzie McAloon went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and an RBI, Jaime Brown was 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs, and Kya Enos had two hits, two runs, and a stolen base. Mackenzie Handrahan added a pair of hits, two RBI, and two runs while White helped her own cause with a double, triple, and two runs scored.

Foxboro, 5 @ Canton, 6 – FinalCanton freshman Steph Trendell had two singles, including the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the seventh as Canton walked off with a win over visiting Foxboro. Trendell knocked in classmate Nikki Desjardins from second on a two-out hit to get the win. Freshman Liz Bickett added three hits in the win, including a home run and sophomore Caroline Hughes added two hits for the Bulldogs.

Stoughton, 8 @ Sharon, 4 – FinalStoughton built and 8-0 lead going into the bottom of the seventh inning before the Eagles rallied for four runs in the final frame, but Sharon couldn’t sustain the rally and lost its home opener. Lexi Baptista went 4-for-4 for the Black Knights with three triples and a single, drove in a pair of runs and scored three times. Gina Carafa earned the win with a complete game, striking out 10 while also going 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI. Jamie Kessler drove in a pair of runs with a single in the seventh and Rebecca Clayman plated two more with a double for Sharon.

Mansfield, 5 @ Franklin, 13 – FinalWith Mansfield’s defense focused on Franklin All American Eric Civetti (two goals), Panthers’ freshman Matt Lazzaro stepped up and netted a team-high four goals to lead the way. Zach Alexander, Will Davis, and Chase Tanner all had two goals apiece while Nitin Chaudhury scored once and had one assist. Connor O’Rourke made eight saves in net for the Panthers.

Oliver Ames, 20 @ Attleboro, 8 – FinalAttleboro used a second half surge to get the deficit to five (12-7) but Oliver Ames closed the door with a big run to end the game. Seven different players scored for the Tigers, led by seven goals and three assists from Olivia Piazza and four goals and one helper from Chloe Kilkelly.

Franklin, 18 @ Mansfield, 4 – FinalFrankin jumped out to a 10-1 lead at halftime and never looked back against the Hornets. Kelsey MacCallum paced the offense with three goals and two assists, Annie Walsh added four goals and four draw controls, Hailey Toolin chipped in with a pair of goals and four draws, and Haley DeStefano finished with a goal and an assist. Gianna Cameron made six saves in net for Franklin.

Sophia Prinos won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and Julia Muise recorded a 6-1, 6-3 win at third singles. The team of Sarah Prag and Olivia Dantona picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win at first doubles and Foxboro’s Kendall Milender and Margaret McAuliffe prevailed at second doubles with a 6-3, 2-6, 10-8 win. Canton freshman Rachel Kupferman won 3-6, 6-1, 12-10 at second singles.

Attleboro, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final (8 inn.)Oliver Ames took a 4-0 lead early and had a 5-2 lead going into the seventh inning but the Bombardiers took advantage of a couple of Tiger miscues to get the win. Drew Pagano (walk) and Sam Larkin (HBP) reached, and then Rob Furtado delivered a two-out RBI single to bring Big Blue within two runs. With the bases loaded, Larkin and Furtado came in to score on an infield error to tie the game. In the top of the eighth, Larkin (2-for-2, three runs) drew a one-out walk and advanced to second. After stealing third, Larkin came home to score the go-ahead run on an error. Jon Candiales, who inherited runners at first and second with no outs, got the final three outs. Michael Mulrean had a strong outing for OA, going six-plus innings with nine strikeouts. Chris Pearsons went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Tigers.

Milford, 11 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalMilford plated four runs in the second inning, tacked on three more in each the third and fourth innings and added one more in the fifth to pick up its first win of the season. Matt Shaver went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI while Nick Marcolini had two hits, three runs and a pair of stolen bases. Dan Corsini earned the win, scattering five hits in six innings, striking out three with one earned run allowed. Foxboro’s Devin Hassett was 3-for-3 with a double and scored both of the Warriors’ runs.

Canton, 5 @ Sharon, 6 – Final

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalFranklin senior Jake Noviello was spectacular again, firing his second straight complete game shutout to help the Panthers edge Mansfield. Noviello allowed just one hit, walked four and had one strikeout to earn the win. Noviello took the no-hitter into the final inning before Mansfield’s Dan Saraceno had a base hit to lead off the seventh. Franklin scored a run in the third, and then again in the fourth. Jack Nally had a double and scored a run for Franklin, Alex Haba added an RBI double, Evan Wendell scored a run, and Colby Fitzgibbons had an RBI double. Mansfield sophomore John Carney allowed just one hit and two walks over 2.1 innings of work in relief.

King Philip, 6 @ Taunton, 5 – FinalKing Philip scored a run in the top of the first, tacked on three more in the top of the second, plated one more in the fourth, and score what turned into the winning run in the top of the sixth. Taunton tied the game 5-5 in the bottom of the fifth before KP took the lead back for good in the next half inning. Liam Rohan came in to pinch hit and drove in Nolan Bradley for the winning run. Jeremy Rhines struck out a pair and gave up three earned runs in five innings of work while junior Terry Murray didn’t allow a run in two innings, striking out four. Rhines added a single and an RBI as well.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Attleboro, 14 – Final (5 inn.) Attleboro pushed across 11 runs in the second inning in a big win over visiting Oliver Ames. AHS freshmen Autumn O’Connell went 3-for-3 and scored twice in the second inning while freshman Lora Woyton (2-for-3) cleared the bases with a double. Jordyn Lako added two RBI and two runs for the Bombardiers. Emily Gittle struck out four in five innings of work, allowing two runs with no walks. Oliver Ames’ Lexie Campbell (1-3) scored both of the Tigers’ two runs on RBI singles from Katie Abreu and Caroline Mahoney.

Sharon, 0 @ Canton, 16 – Final (5 inn.)Sharon got a pair of hits from Jody Goldenberg and a long single to center from Lauren Yaffe.

Foxboro, 4 @ Milford, 16 – Final (6 inn.)The Hawks broke the game wide open with an eight-run second inning and collected 20 hits as a team. Emily Piergustavo led the way for Milford with three hits, including a homer, and five RBI. Emily Hartman also went 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI and Kelley Reichert went 3-for-5 at the plate with three RBI and also allowed one earned run in six innings, striking out eight. Sabrina Haarstick had two hits and three RBI. Jess Tomaso had two hits and scored two runs, and Shannon Cormier reached base four times and scored twice.

Franklin, 8 @ Mansfield, 2 – FinalFranklin scored two in the first inning, one each in the fifth and sixth innings, and then put the game away with four in the seventh. Emily Valentino picked up the win, while striking out 12 and allowing just five hits. Franklin coach Kate Fallon said that the Panthers played “solid defense,” including catcher Maggie Hobby, who also hit a two-run double in the seventh to extend the lead. Anna Balkus went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Kylie Bouzan was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored for the Panthers. Franklin finished with 14 hits as a team.

Stoughton, 3 @ North Attleboro, 9 – FinalBella Erti struck out 11 in a complete game victory, allowing only four hits and walking none. Emily Nardelli and Erti both hit homers for the Rocketeers, while Abby Gallagher had a pair of hits and a diving catch. Andrea Miceli, Erti, and Gallagher each drove in two runs for North. For Stoughton, Jordan Lyons went 2-for-3 with a double while Nikki Cappola and Gina Carafa each had a single.

Boys Lacrosse
Canton, 8 @ Pembroke, 6 – FinalCanton built a 6-3 lead at halftime, led by the same score going into the fourth and held on for a win on the road at Pembroke. The Bulldogs never trailed in the win. Dan Cohen led the scoring with four goals while Kevin Albert scored two goals and had one assist. Sophomore Brendan Clifford scored his first career goal on perfectly placed snipe and classmate Jack Connolly made 15 saves in net for the Dogs.

Foxboro, 16 @ Medway, 8 – FinalFoxboro continued its undefeated start, moving to 8-0 with a win over Medway. Louis Piccolo scored a team-high seven goals and added three assists while Brendan Tully registered five points (three goals, two assists) for the Warriors. Bobby Yerardi added three goals while Andrew Whalen (two goals, one assist) and Pete Conley (goal, two assists) each had three points. Jake Addeche made nine saves in the win for Foxboro.

Stoughton, 0 @ Sharon, 12 – FinalSharon’s Brett Litner (two goals, three assists) and Drew Litner (one goal, four assists) each recorded five points as the Eagles rolled to a win. Kadin Nestler chipped in with a pair of goals and an assist while Daniel Lillenfield added two goals as well.

Senior Diana Brens and freshman Anastasia Lajoie each found the back of the net once. Goalie Brianna Winfield made eight saves in the win.

Franklin, 6 @ Natick, 5 – FinalFranklin sophomore Erin Walsh scored the game-winning goal inside the final minute to lift the Panthers to a win on the road at Natick. Erin Walsh and Annie Walsh each finished with two goals and one assist in the win. Kelsey MacCallum added two assists while Nicole Houlihan and Katie Jones each had one goal. The Panthers played well defensively, with Corinne Lewis grabbing two ground balls and forcing three turnovers. Sophomore Gianna Cameron made seven saves in net.

King Philip, 5 @ Walpole, 19 – FinalCaroline Klim and Alli Meehan each scored twice, but the Warriors lost for the first time this season. Ali Wilson also scored for KP.

Mansfield, 9 @ Old Rochester, 13 – FinalAnn Maher scored four goals and Katy Garvin added three for the Hornets in the loss.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Attleboro, 5 – FinalAttleboro defended home court, winning four of the five matches in straight sets. Evan Capar won 6-1, 1-6, 10-7 at first singles to complete the sweep. Jared Cooper (6-2, 6-1) and Ryan Gordon (6-3, 6-1) won at second and third singles, respectively. The team of Luis Sandoval and Hans Estrada won 6-2, 6-4 at first doubles while Zach Brown and Ryan Solari picked up a 6-4, 6-0 win at second doubles.

Sharon, 5 @ Canton, 0 – FinalSharon’s Fred Bondar overcame a one-set deficit to earn a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at first singles, helping the Eagles complete the sweep on the road. Andre Olivei won 6-1, 6-4 at second singles and Danujan Thirumavalavan picked up at 6-1, 6-0 victory at third singles. Junior Max Brody and sophomore Alberto Olivei teamed up for the first time this season for a 6-0, 6-0 win at first doubles while senior Russell Rapaport and junior Arie Chinnappan won 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles for Sharon.

Franklin, 4 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalThe Panthers won a pair of matches at singles and swept doubles play to beat Mansfield. Both of Franklin’s doubles teams overcame first set deficits to get the wins. Tyler DiPalma and Derek Wu rallied for a 6-7 (2-7), 6-2, 6-2 win at first doubles and Tony Calderone and Dan Angermeier came back with a 2-6, 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 win. Freshman Liam Marr didn’t lose a game (6-0, 6-0) at second singles and Tyler St. Marie earned a 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 win at third singles. Mansfield’s Luke Nickerson won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – FinalKing Philip won all five matches in straight sets, sweeping visiting Taunton. Marco DiStefano won 6-2, 6-3 at first singles, Nick Putney earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at second singles, and Jack Cannon took a 6-1, 6-1 decision at third singles. The team of Nick Ihley and Aidan Ignatius notched a 6-1, 6-0 win at first doubles while Nate Ihley and Sean Desrochers teamed up for a 6-0, 6-1 win at second doubles.

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – FinalSenior Christian Bermudez, freshman Jonah Manso, and the team of sophomore Alex Pfeffer and freshman Sam Gallagher all won their respective matches without losing a game. Christian Bermudez won at second singles, Manso took the win at third singles and Pfeffer and Gallagher won at second doubles. North senior Richard Bermudez won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles and the team of senior Ben Pfeffer and junior Vikram Senthilakumaran won 6-2, 6-0 at first doubles.

Erin Regnier won 6-3, 6-0 at first singles, Meghan Sepich took a win at second singles by the same score, and Caitlin Gonser didn’t lose a game (6-0, 6-0) in a win at third singles. The team of Katarina Schneider and Grace Ely emerged with a 6-0, 7-5 win at first doubles and the team of Mia Valencia and Lucy Bernard took a 6-1, 6-1 decision at second doubles.

Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – FinalOliver Ames defended home court, winning all five matches in straight sets to sweep visiting Attleboro. Junior Sarah Leger won 6-1, 6-2 at first singles, sophomore Tate Hadges lost just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 victory at second singles, and sophomore Sarah Barron emerged with a 6-4, 6-2 win at third singles. The team of seniors Kristin Bloumbas and Emily Yu took home a 6-1, 6-2 win at first doubles and seniors Rachel Stryke and Olivia Groebe notched a 6-0, 6-3 victory at second doubles for the Tigers.

Canton, 0 @ Sharon, 5 – FinalCanton freshman Rachel Kupferman became the first player to win a game against Sharon’s Lulu Yuan this season, but Yuan prevailed 7-5, 6-1 at second singles as the Eagles came up with a sweep. Nupur Shukla (6-0, 6-0) and Lauren Glass (6-2, 6-4) completed the sweep in singles play for Sharon. Katie Merport and Anjali Mandal won 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles and Sophia Fein and Sophia Le earned a 6-2, 6-2 decision at second doubles.

Milford, 0 @ Foxboro, 5 – FinalFoxboro picked up a clean sweep at home, knocking off Milford with all five matches ending in two sets. Sophia Prinos earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at first singles, Pamela Nelson didn’t drop a game in a win at second singles, and Kayla Prag picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win at third singles. The team of Julia Muise and Sarah Prag won 6-1, 6-1 at first doubles while Olivia Dantona and Kendall Milender teamed up for a 6-0, 6-0 win at second doubles.

Mansfield, 4 @ Franklin, 1 – FinalMansfield picked up two wins in singles and swept doubles play to record a win on the road at Franklin. Senior Sarah Doyle didn’t drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles and Elizabeth Elsner earned a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles for the Hornets. North Attleboro, 11 @ Attleboro, 1 – FinalNorth Attleboro outscored Attleboro 7-0 in the second half to pick up a non-league win. Tommy Lindstrom orchestrated the offensive attack, registering five assists while Zach McGowan scored twice and added two helpers. Paul Yeomans (two goals, one assist) finish with three points while Jason McNeany (goal, assist), Colin Young (two goals) and Jack Dakin (two goals) each had two points. Owen Costello and Zac Doucette each scored once and Brett Labonte and Hunter Sarro each had an assist.

Canton, 5 vs. Braintree, 3 – FinalCanton outscored the visitors 4-1 in the second half to pick up a win on senior night and keep its postseason hopes alive. Senior Dan Dillon led the charge, notching three assists and scoring the game-winning goal with just over three minutes left to play. Senior Ryan Lodge and sophomore Mike Shaw each netted a pair of goals to round up Canton’s attack. Freshman Jack Connolly made 11 saves in net while CHS coach Bill Bendell praised the work of junior Charlie O’Connor at the face off X and the defensive work of senior Michael Pigeon.

Foxboro, 8 vs. Westwood, 9 – Final (OT)

Franklin, 11 @ St. John’s Shrewsbury, 12 – Final (2OT)St. John’s rattled off a 5-0 run in the second half to create an 11-7 cushion but the Panthers answered, scoring four straight goals over the final 5:45, capped with a goal from freshman Jake Davis with just seven seconds left to send the game into overtime. The Panthers won the face off at the beginning of each overtime period but couldn’t covert and the Pioneers netted the winner with 1:02 to go in the second overtime. Eric Civetti led Franklin’s offense with seven goals and one assist, Packie Watson scored twice and had one helper and Nitin Chaudhury scored once. Sam Arsenault, Jack Platner and Kyle McEniry had had one assist while Jacob Alexander won 19 face offs.

Oliver Ames, 9 @ Pembroke, 8 – Final – Oliver Ames freshman Shane Kikelly and junior Owen Gallagher each recorded a hat trick to pace the Tigers’ offense. Senior Liam Brown, junior Eric LeBlanc and freshman Sam Stevens rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece.

Girls Lacrosse
North Attleboro, 17 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalErin Holley paced the Rocketeers, who had 11 different goal scorers in the win, with four goals and a pair of assists. North also got five assists from Katie Lindstrom, a goal and three draw controls from Julia Noreck and two goals and two assists from Camille Pizarro.

Franklin, 8 vs. Westwood, 7 – FinalFranklin freshman goalie Gianna Cameron made 15 saves and FHS head coach Kristin Igoe Guarino had high praise for her defensive unit, anchored by Dana Lewandowski and Grace McDermott. The win marked the Panthers’ first ever win over Westwood, the defending D1 state champions. Caroline Lounsbury led the offense with three goals, Erin Walsh netted two goals and Annie Walsh recorded a goal and an assist. Jordan Jette had two helpers and Kendall Reardon and Kelsey MacCallum both found the back of the net once.
