Attleboro, 0 @ Taunton, 1 – Final (8 inn.)

Foxboro, 7 @ Milford, 3 – Final – Aaron Wentling picked up the win on the mound for the Warriors with four innings of work and Darren Kelly got the save in relief. Wentling and AJ Cavossa each added a pair of hits and two RBI at the plate while sophomore Chad Bearce had a two-out two-RBI hit for the Warriors.

Franklin, 6 @ Mansfield, 14 – Final – Sophomore Tyler Dalton struck out five in five innings of work to earn his first career win. Mansfield’s offense exploded with Kevin Dow and Mike Arnold each going 3-4 with three runs scored, Jake Tryder going 2-3 with two RBI and Tyrone Pascual went 2-3 with an RBI for the Hornets.

King Philip, 6 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – King Philip took a 3-0 lead in the top half of the first inning but had to battle back after the Rocketeers combined for five runs in the first and second innings. Will Weir had a three run home run that scored Stephan MacMeans (single) and Ben Furfari (walk). The Warriors then tied the game with a pair of runs in the fifth inning. Weir reached after being hit by a pitch and advanced on a single from Jon Rolfe. Both runners advanced on a double steal and Jack DiCenso followed it up with a two-run hit. Ryan Coulter scored the go-ahead run in the sixth after doubling, moving to second on a Ryan Guenette single and coming home on a wild pitch. DiCenso got the win for KP, coming on in relief and tossing 5.2 shutout innings while striking out seven. North Attleboro’s Brian Kleczkowski was 2-4 with an RBI.

Stoughton, 9 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Jack Connelly went 2-4 with a run scored and two RBI and Doug Seaman was 2-4 with two runs and an RBI and to lead the Black Knights’ offense. Justin Hutchinson got the win on the mound for Stoughton, going five innings allowing just one earned run on three hits with no walks and four strikeouts. Barry Cooke pitched two no-hit innings in relief.

Softball
Taunton, 13 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Courtney Fisher didn’t allow a run in six innings of work, walking just a pair and allowing two hits while striking out seven to get the win. Jordan Wade went 3-4 with a double and three RBI to lead the Tigers’ offense. Liana Duarte went 3-4 with an RBI and a stolen base, Meghan Navarro was 2-3 with a double and an RBI and Jaime Brown was 2-4 with a double and a triple and a run batted in.

Foxboro, 2 @ Milford, 14 – Final – Emily Piergustavo and Jess Tomaso each drove in three runs to pace the Scarlet Hawks’ offense. Piergustavo went 3-3 with a double and three runs scored while Tomaso was 3-4 with a home run, a pair of doubles and two runs scored. Maggie Farrell added two hits, including a triple, two RBI and two runs scored while Shannon Cormier had a double and a run scored. Ali Atherton struck out nine in six innings of work, allowing three hits and a pair of runs to get the win.

Franklin, 2 @ Mansfield, 7 – Final – Freshman Mady Bendanillo had a career day, connecting on a pair of home runs to lead the Hornets. Bendanillo hit a solo home run in the first inning and then connected for her first career grand slam in the second inning. The tandem of pitcher Maddie Letendre and catcher Bri Homer limited the Panthers at the plate. Letendre struck out six in a complete game while Homer played great behind the plate according to head coach Lori Letendre. Maddie Letendre helped her cause at the plate, going 2-3, while Megan Letendre, Kara Bendanillo, Rachel Carafa, Homer and Liz Mackin all had hits. For Franklin, Ally Shea went 2-4 with a run scored, Clara DeCarvalho was 2-4 and Alyssa Dasilva had a pair of RBIs in the top of the seventh.

North Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 11 – Final – Kali Magane went the distance for the Warriors, allowing only three hits and one earned run while striking out 13 and walking none for the win. Offensively, KP had 12 hits with Christa Wagner and Haley McCasland paving the way. Wagner scored three runs while McCasland knocked in three runs. For North Attleboro, Mycala Moody had a double and scored two runs while Liz Morehouse added a single and an RBI.

Sharon, 0 @ Stoughton, 4 – Final – Shannon Flaherty struck out 11 in a complete game shutout, allowing just four hits and issuing just two walks to get the win. Karly Estremera had three singles and scored a run for the Black Knights while Brianna Ferrandiz knocked in a pair of runs for Stoughton.

Boys Lacrosse
Foxboro, 9 vs. Barnstable, 5 – Final

Franklin, 7 @ Cohasset, 8 – Final – Senior Austin Kent and sophomore Eric Civetti both scored a hat trick and registered an assist for the Panthers. Head coach Lou Verrochi said Sophomore Connor O’Rourke was superb in goal with nine saves.

King Philip, 6 vs. Bishop Feehan, 8 – Final – Sam Agricola scored five goals for the Warriors and assisted on the sixth but King Philip couldn’t overcome Feehan. Freshman Colin DeVellis scored his first career goal for King Philip.

Mansfield, 8 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – Billy Grant scored a hat trick to lead the Hornets, who jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half. Jon Reed added a pair of goals and Ryan Smith and Hunter Ferreira each had one. North was led by Colin Young and Zack McGowan each with two goals, while Nick Ward added one.

Oliver Ames, 10 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Senior Matt Gilson notched a hat trick in the game, putting him at 104 career points.

Sharon, 7 @ Norwell, 15 – Final

Taunton, 4 @ New Bedford, 5 – Final – Freshman Griffin Speicher led Taunton with a pair of goals while Andrew Wellington and Josh Grasso each scored once. Josh Grasso, Nick Croft, Mike Perrotta and Cam Welby each recorded assists. Ryan Williams made seven saves in net for the Tigers.

Girls Lacrosse
Foxboro, 14 vs. Hingham, 7 – Final

North Attleboro, 20 @ Mansfield, 7 – Final – Hana Caster was the top scorer for the Rocketeers with seven goals.

Milford, 8 @ Oliver Ames, 22 – Final – Erin Fitzgerald found the back of the net four times, adding a pair of assists to lead OA. Sam Lang scored four goals and also added an assist in the win. Ariana Waldorf made 17 saves and head coach Craig Gardner said Waldorf was “stellar” in net. Kendall Clifford (three goals, three assists), Sofia Masciarelli (three goals, one assist) and Abby Duvall (three goals) helped contribute to Milford’s offense.

Taunton, 5 vs. New Bedford, 8 – Final

Boys Tennis
Attleboro, 2 @ Taunton, 3 – Final – Wins at first and third singles as well as first doubles led the Tigers to a win. Freshman Brett Beaulieu won 6-7, 7-5, 6-1 at first singles and Mike Briggs won 6-2, 6-2 at second singles. The team of Connor Briggs and Charlie Fiske won 6-2, 6-3 at first doubles to secure the win. Attleboro’s Tyler Letendre won 7-6, 6-4 at second singles and Khaled Hantash and Ahijah Joseph won 6-2, 6-3 at second doubles.

Foxboro, 5 @ Milford, 0 – Final

Mansfield, 1 @ Franklin, 4 – Final – Franklin won at second and third singles as well as first and second doubles to get the win. Junior Eli Brooks won 6-0, 6-3 at second singles and Tom Mancini won 6-0, 6-1 at third singles. James Johnston and Cam Piana won 6-0, 6-2 at first doubles and the team of Jeremy Gran and Dan Barrow won 6-0, 6-2 at second doubles.

King Philip, 1 @ North Attleboro, 4 – FinalMitchell Dyer battled through a second set loss to pick up a 6-3, 5-7, 16-14 win in a super tiebreaker for the Rocketeers at first singles. Junior Jake Webster won 6-2, 6-3 at third singles while seniors Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch won 7-5, 6-1 at first doubles and Jake Fontes and Daniel Zhang won 6-2, 6-2 at second doubles.

Baseball
Milford, 1 @ Attleboro, 6 – Final – Senior Tyler Stowe was a spark for the Bombarbiers in the leadoff spot with a pair of hits, a pair of stolen bases and a pair of runs scored. Nate Tellier hit a two run double in the sixth inning to turn a two run lead into a 5-1 lead. Tellier also scored two runs and then pitched the final two innings, striking out five of the six batters he faced. Brent Cook went 2-2 with a pair of RBI for Attleboro. Junior Tyler McGovern made his varsity debut, striking out seven in five innings of work for the win, scattering four hits.

Canton, 1 @ King Philip, 8 – Final – King Philip’s Jake Cavanagh tossed a complete game, scattering four hits while striking out 10 batters. Jack DiCenso and Jon Rolfe each had multiple hits for the Warriors. Ryan Coulter knocked in a pair of runs for KP while Cavanagh, Stephan MacMeans and Leo Munafo each plated one run for the Warriors. 

Foxboro, 0  @ Taunton, 8 – Final – Senior Luke Figueira got it done on the mound and at the plate as the Tigers opened the season with a win. On the mound, Figueira struck out eight batters and allowed just two hits and no walks in five innings of work. At the plate, the senior had a pair of hits and knocked in two runs. Matt Machado and Max Bowden each added a pair of hits and RBI as well. William Emerson had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI and Brendon Mazerolle knocked in one run and had two hits.

Franklin, 14 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Sophomore Jason Ulrickson came on in the fourth inning in relief and pitched four innings without allowing an earned run to get the win for the Panthers. Ulrickson struck out four and scattered three hits. Sophomore Matt Foley pitched the scoreless innings to start the game for Franklin. Offensively, senior Joe Corsi scored four runs, going 2/4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Jake Lyons went 2/4 with two RBI and a run scored, Tyler Gomes had a double and two runs scored, Josh Macchi went 3/4 with a double and three RBI, Jake Noviello was 2/4 with an RBI and Mike Skaza went 3/4 with an RBI and two runs scored. 

Stoughton, 14 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final

Oliver Ames, 5 @ North Attleboro, 6 – Final – In a game of lead changes, North senior Zach Rofino (2-4, two runs) reached on an infield single to start the bottom of the seventh, advanced to third on a double from senior Brian Poillucci (3-4, RBI, R) and then scored on a base hit up the middle from Brian Kleczkowski (2-3, RBI) as the Rocketeers walked off with the 6-5 win. Ridge Olsen, who was intentionally walked to load the bases in the bottom of the seventh, was 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored while sophomore Zach DeMattio went 2-3 with his second home run in as many games and knocked in three runs. The Rocketeers pitchers didn’t issue a walk all game. Andy Katch went six innings, striking out three while Matt Papineau pitched the top of the seventh to get the win. Oliver Ames tied the game in the top of the sixth when Kevin Geary hit a triple and a single freshman Chris Pearsons. OA senior Chris Romero had three hits in the game and classmate Josh Minuskin had a pair of hits.

Softball
Attleboro, 0 @ Milford, 12 – Final (5 inn.) – Ali Atherton tossed a one hitter, striking out nine batters in five innings of work while issuing just one walk. At the plate, Jess Tomaso went 3/4 in her debut for the Scarlet Hawks with a pair of doubles and three RBI. Emily Piergustavo went 3/4 with a double and two RBI and Sydney Pounds was 3/3 with three runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.

King Philip, 18 @ Canton, 0 – Final (5 inn.) – Elise Pereira, Kali Magane and Jenn Hutnyan combined for one hit ball in the circle for the Warriors. Magane went 2/2 with a triple while Pereira connected for a home run. Freshman Meghan Gorman debuted by going 2/2 with a home run and four RBI while Sydney Phillips also connected for a home run. Senior Christa Wagner scored three runs for KP.

Taunton, 15 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final (5 inn.) – Courtney Fisher struck out 11 batters in five innings of work, scattering three hits without a walk to get the win for the Tigers. Taunton’s offense stayed hot behind four RBI from Aimee Kistner (2-4, double), three RBI from Jordan Wade (3-4, double) and a pair of RBI from Liana Duarte (2-4, double). Kya Enos and Meghan Navarro each added a pair of doubles and an RBI and Jaime Brown went 2-2 with an RBI.

Franklin, 12 @ Sharon, 0 – Final (6 inn.) – Caroline D’Aprile struck out six and allowed two hits to get the win for the Panthers. Maddie Connelly had a pair of hits, a pair of runs and a pair of stolen bases and Alli Shea added three runs scored and two hits. Clara Decarvalho knocked in four runs on three hits while Julia Arms had a three run home run and Rachel Cousineau connected for a solo home run. 

Mansfield, 3 @ Stoughton, 4 – Final – Stoughton’s Shannon Flaherty allowed just one earned run in six innings of work to get the win. Flaherty struck out nine and issued just one walk in the win. Mansfield erased a 2-0 deficit in the top of the sixth inning but the Black Knights scored twice more in the bottom half to regain the lead. Jocelyn Reardon had a pair of hits, including a two RBI single in the sixth while Mady Bendanillo, Megan Letendre, Kara Bendanillo and Amanda Giambanco all had a hit in the game for the Hornets. .

North Attleboro, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – Amelia Murphy allowed just three hits in her Big Red debut, fanning four batters to get the win. Rylie Guthrie, Sam Courtemanche and Liz Morehouse each had an RBI single while Kaylea Sherman had four putouts in center field and also a double play. Oliver Ames’ Victoria Ziner was 1/2 with a run scored, Katie Pursley had an RBI and Lexi Campbell also had a hit. Campbell pitched a complete game, striking out five with just two earned runs allowed.

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro @ Dartmouth, 4:00

Canton, 5 vs. Scituate, 1 – Final – The Bulldogs were able to accomplish a feat not many are able to: shut down Scituate’s offense. Canton only allowed one goal, coming with six minutes left in the game. Defensemen Jake Ragusa, Dan Nadeau, Gabe Galeotos and Jonathan Sutton combined to limit the Sailor while Chris Albert made 16 saves in net. Ben O’Neill netted a hat trick with one assist while junior Ryan Lodge had a goal and two assists and freshman Mike Shaw scored once.

Taunton, 0 @ Foxboro, 21 – Final – Andrew Whalen led Foxboro with seven points, scoring three goals and added four assists and Louis Piccolo added four goals and two assists. Brendan Tully had three goals and two assists and Colin Spinney chipped in with a pair of goals and a pair of assists for the Warriors. 

King Philip, 10 @ Medway, 9 – Final – Senior Sam Agricola scored King Philip’s first five goals of the game to keep the Warriors close and then scored the game winning goal in the third quarter. Agricola finished with six goals, one assist and five ground balls, helping KP take advantage of the extra man opportunities. KP scored on six of their seven EMO while limiting Medway on their special teams chances. Junior Paul Macrina made 23 saves in the game including seven in the fourth quarter. Head coach Jacob Kravitz called it a great character win and credited Steve Eaton’s switch to LSM in the second as a big turning point in the possession game. Tim Watson and Anthony Truini each scored twice for KP.

Attleboro, 3 vs. Dartmouth, 9 – Final

Foxboro, 20 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Caroline McGreary scored four goals and Sophia DiCenso and Lauren Flahive each netted a hat trick to lead Foxboro. Megan Curran and Lily Feeney each chipped in with two goals for the Warriors. Taunton’s Delaney Powell scored both of the Tigers’ goals. 

King Philip, 14 vs. Medway, 9 – Final – Katie Crowther was nearly unstoppable, netting a team high nine goals to lead the Warriors. Jen Lacroix added three goals while Abbey Buchanan and Allie Meehan each found the back of the net once. 

Sharon, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 11 – Final – Oliver Ames senior Hannah Friend made an impact all over the field to lead the Tigers. Friend scored four goals and had one assists while nabbing two draw controls and five groundballs. She also had three intercepted passes for the Tigers. Erin Fitzgerald was another reason for OA’s strong possession game with 10 draw controls. Ariana Waldorf had 12 saves in net while Sofia Masciarelli, Chloe Kikelly and Emalyn Duvall each scored twice. Carly Cidado had a goal and an assist, Abby Duvall had two assists and Kendall Clifford notched an assist for OA.

Boys Tennis
Milford, 2 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final – Attleboro scored wins at first and second singles and sealed the win with a marathon win at second doubles. Timothy Vermilyea won 6-2, 6-2 at first singles and Tyler Letendre picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win at second singles. Khaled Hantash and Ahijah Joseph won the first 7-5 at second doubles but after losing 3-6 in the second, rallied to win 6-4 in the final set. Milford’s Brendan O’Shaunghnessy won 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) at third singles and Tabish Syed and Stephen Donnelly won 6-3, 6-4 at first doubles.

Canton, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – KP sophomore Cole Ginter won 6-4, 6-1 at first singles and freshman Blake Ginter won 6-4, 6-3 at third singles to lead the Warriors. Sam Collela and Ryan Gemelli won 6-1, 6-2 at first doubles and Jake Webster and Justin Rohan won 6-3, 6-2 at second doubles for the Warriors. Canton’s Jake Wolicki won 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 at second singles. 

Foxboro, 4 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Taunton’s lone win came when Charlie Fiske and Connor Briggs battled back for a 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 win at first doubles. 

Sharon, 5 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – Sharon won all five matches in set straights to start the season with a win. Griffin Fein won 6-2, 6-3 at first singles, Fred Bondar won 6-3, 6-3 at second singles and Han Cui won 6-2, 6-1 at third singles. Adam Dobbin and Alex Romantz picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win at first doubles and Tilak Mehta and Dahujan Thiru won 6-1, 6-4 at second doubles. 

Stoughton, 0 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – Mansfield junior Benny Lin won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles, freshman Luke Nickerson won 6-0, 6-2 at second singles and junior Gus Daganhardt picked up a 6-3, 6-1 at third singles. Sophomores Danny Radev and Sam Cavicchi won 6-0, 6-2 at first doubles and sophomore Ben Salder and junior Stephen Zenack won 6-2, 6-0 at second doubles. 

Oliver Ames, 1 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – North Attleboro got wins from a pair of juniors in singles play and three seniors and one junior in doubles for a 4-1 win. Junior Barsomo Nuay won 6-4, 6-4 at second singles and junior Zack Pfeffer won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Seniors Jeff Yao and Nick Lockavitch won 7-5, 6-1 at first doubles and senior Jake Fontes and junior Daniel Zhang won 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles. Oliver Ames’ Thomas O’Leary notched a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4) win at first singles. 

Girls Tennis
Attleboro, 1 @ Milford, 4 – Final

King Philip, 4 @ Canton, 1 – Final – Becca Ricci and Meghan Sepich won at first and third singles respectively to lead the Warriors. Ricci picked up a 6-3, 7-6 win and Sepich won 6-0, 6-0. KP’s elly Masse and Megan Davenport won 4-6, 7-6, 6-2 at first singles and Connie Palumbo and Carly Adams won 6-3, 6-0 at second doubles. Canton’s Skyler Jabbour won 6-3, 7-6 at second singles. 

Taunton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final

Franklin, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – Freshman Nupur Shulka debuted with a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles to help lead the Eagles to a season opening win. Sharon sophomore Emily Wen won 6-1, 6-2 at third singles and junior Michelle Coo and sophomore Rithica Neti won 6-2, 6-0 at second doubles. Franklin’s Hannah Sweeney won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and junior Anja Deric and sophomore Katelyn Davenport won 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 1-0 (10-6) at first doubles. 

Mansfield, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Seniors Paulina Martin and Kathleen Giffels won in straight sets in singles play as Mansfield rolled to a sweep. Martin won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and Giffels won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. Sophomore Sarah Doyle won 6-0, 6-1 at third singles for the Hornets. Cathryn Heavey and Chloe Peters won 6-3, 6-3 at first doubles and Tessa Garufi and Elizabeth Elsner won 6-0, 7-5 at second doubles. 

North Attleboro, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – North Attleboro’s Julia Mark picked up a 6-3, 6-1 at first singles, Jordan Willis won 6-2, 6-2 at second singles and Allie Grinavic didn’t lose a set in a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. Jhanavi Kapadia and Emily Chiasson won 6-0, 6-3 at first doubles and Gabby Duva and Katie Demontigny won 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) at second doubles for the Rocketeers.

Boys Volleyball
Milford, 1 vs. Millis, 3 – Final – Milford won the third game but couldn’t overcome the 2-0 hole. Senior Mike Haver led Milford with 11 kills and added three blocks. Senior Ryan White had 16 assists, eight kills, four digs, two blocks and an ace while Juan Ruelas had 13 assists, seven kills and three digs and blocks.

Boys Soccer
Attleboro, 0 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Senior Austin Botelho scored less than three minutes into the second half as Taunton picked up a big win against division rival Attleboro. Hasan Farahat set up Botelho for the lone goal of the game on a shot from 20 yards out. Marc DeSousa made eight saves in net including a save to protect the win with five minutes to play. 
Canton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – Oliver Ames senior Chris Romero scored a pair of second half goals to help the Tigers continue their perfect start. Romero scored first off an assist from Keegan Nutt and then converted a chance from Max Ahearn. 
Foxboro, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Devante Teixeira scored the opening goal in the 14th minute and then assisted on Foxboro’s third goal to Hussein Kafel, scored inside the first three minutes of the second half. Anthony Barreira converted a penalty kick in the 24th minute for Foxboro. Milford senior goalie Mike Da Silva made 11 saves in net. 
Mansfield, 2 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – A pair of throw ins from senior captain Chris Elsner turned into a pair of goals for Mansfield in a big win on the road. Just three minutes into the game, Elsner’s throw found Jared Miller who found the back of the net. Midway through the second half Elsner found Charlie Rogers to double the lead. Michael Kirejczyk picked up his fourth shutout of the season. Head coach Steve Sheridan credited defenders Max Gurnon, Nick Hyland and Harry Braidt, along with Elsner, for strong games. 
King Philip, 2 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – The Warriors used a pair of second half goals from senior captain Joe Kellett to pick up their third win of the season. Inside the first minute of the second half, Ryan Coulter’s cross was deflected by Larsen Keys to Kellett at the edge of the area and he buried it. Just before the midway point of the second half, Thomas Lugten cut back and found Kellett again at the top of the area and he converted again. 

Stoughton, 1 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Senior Winston Kessah set up junior Loubensky Lucas for the game-winning goal inside the final five minutes. Stoughton head coach Aaron Salter called Lucas’ finish a “sublime long distance finish.” Salter also credited Tyler Melo for a strong game in the midfield and Goddy Frombe for a strong game in the back.
Girls Soccer
Taunton, 5 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Alana Vincent scored a pair of goals and added an assist for the Tigers. Sam Tichelaar also scored a pair of goals and Mariah O’Gara netted one. Taunton goalie Kayla Wentworth made seven saves in net for the shutout.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Canton, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames junior Francesca Calabraro netted the lone goal of the game midway through the first half, converting after a through ball from junior Julia Roy. Sophomore Regan Benton and freshman Bethany Dunk combined for the shutout in goal. Head coach Britt Sellmayer said sophomore Jackie Mills and senior Erin Fitzgerald played well for the Tigers. 

Milford, 0 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Riley Collins and Hannah Burns netted first half goals to lift the Warriors to a win.

Franklin, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final – Bailey Knous scored four minutes into the game to give Franklin the lead. The score stayed the same until there was 10 minutes left when Jamie Dragsbaek volleyed in a second off a corner. In the final seconds, Victoria Stowell scored on a 30-yard free kick to make it 3-0.
North Attleboro, 7 @ King Philip, 0 – Final – Haley Guertin scored her second straight hat trick, scoring twice in the first half and adding a third in the second half. Hana Caster also netted a pair of first half goals and added two assists. Grace Guertin and Gabriela Versona each scored one. 

Sharon, 3 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Alexandra Filipkwoski scored on a header off an Alex Rabb corner to open the score for the Eagles. Rabb also assisted on the first of Ally Steinberg’s two goals. Freshman goalie Lydia Chase made eight saves in her first varsity appearance. Shanel Ford netted the Black Knights’ lone goal while senior goalie Marissa Williams had 10 saves in net for Stoughton.
Volleyball
Franklin, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Dayna McCue had 12 digs and five aces, Beth Neal had 14 assists, six kills and a pair of aces and Aubrie Kutil had seven kills. Head coach Kate Horsmann said Rose Morrissette and Sam Campbell played well defensively.

Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Canton bounced back into the win column with a 25-23, 25-15, 25-23 win over an upset-minded Foxboro squad. Elizabeth Hamilton led the Bulldogs with 13 kills, Rye Verille had 10 kills and a pair of block and Nicole Poole totaled 29 assists. Olivia Devoe continued her stellar play at the libero spot with 20 digs for Canton. 

King Philip, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield dropped the first set (19-25) but came back to win the next three 25-11, 25-17, 25-23. The Hornets’ offense was led by 10 kills from Sarah Mullahy and eight kills from Olivia Broyles. Colleen Riley had 14 serve receives to pace the defense. For King Philip, Gwen Uyrus led the Warriors with nine kills and three aces. 

Milford, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – Final
North Attleboro, 2 @ Taunton, 3 – Final – It was a back and forth contest between the Tigers and the Rocketeers that Taunton was able to walk away from with a win (25-27, 25-16, 21-25, 25-21, 15-7). Alyssa Gibson had nine kills and six blocks while Aimee Kistner played the role of spark plug with seven kills, six aces and three blocks. Taunton’s Tatum Speicher added 27 assists, four kills and a pair of aces in the win. 
Oliver Ames, 2 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final – Senior middle blocker Bridgette Whalen had a strong all-around game for the Black Knights with 12 service points, 10 digs, eight blocks and eight aces. Senior outside hitter Ava Siegel had 23 digs, 15 serve receives and five kills and junior setter Christina Gelin had 10 service points and seven assists. 
Field Hockey
Attleboro, 3 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Grace Mayer scored a pair of goals for the Bombardiers while Katie Patton netted a goal. Quincy Harding picked up a assists for Attleboro in the win. Attleboro goalie Isabelle Maragnano made five saves in net and Lacey Roy also made a big defense save.

Canton, 4 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final
Foxboro, 1 @ Milford, 0 – Final
Mansfield, 3 @ Franklin, 4 – Final – Freshman Annie Walsh scored what turned into the eventual game-winner 10 minutes into the second half for the Panthers. Walsh also had an assist on Franklin’s third goal, scored by Caroline Lounsbury with under five minutes to play in the first half. Freshman Cassi Roman and junior Dana Lewandowski also scored for Franklin while goalie Samantha Jones made 12 saves in net. Franklin head coach Lisa Cropper said Kenzi Pleshaw played an outstanding game on defense. 

King Philip, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final

Stoughton, 4 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Stoughton’s Mia Russell netted a hat trick to lead the Black Knights to their second win in a three day span. Olivia Schlehuber also scored a goal for the Black Knights. Sharon’s Rachel Usen scored the lone goal for the Eagles.

Franklin, 168 @ North Attleboro, 152 – Final – North Attleboro’s Robbie Congdon shot a match-low 35 to pace the Rocketeers while Tyler Sinacola carded a 37. Franklin’s Bryan Woelfel and Matt Pleshaw each shot 40 for the Panthers.

Mansfield, 174 @ Sharon, 176 – Final – Mansfield’s David Craig and Kyle Swansburg each shot a 43 for the Hornets as they moved to 4-0 on the season. Sharon’s Max Avratin and Eli Hearne also carded 43 for the Eagles. 

King Philip, 170 @ Attleboro, 183 – Final – Sophomore Danny McLaughlin earned the match medalist by shooting a 41 for the Warriors, including a birdie on the 9th hole. 

Canton, 152 @ Milford, 158 – Final – Sophomore Danny Powers carded a one under 34 for the Bulldogs and Jim Jenkins shot a 36 in a close win for Canton. Ryan Tomaso shot a 36 for the Scarlet Hawks. 

Oliver Ames, 164 @ Foxboro, 185 – Final – Steven Tasho and Brian Lambert each carded a match-low 40 for the Tigers. Foxboro’s Brandon Wasserman had a team-low 43 for the Warriors.

Milford, 0 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Milford senior goalie Mike Da Silva made five saves in net. Scarlet Hawks head coach Jim Asam said Luis Goncalves had a great game defensively and that Nick Roy, Gerson Miglorini and Anthony Martinez all played well off the bench. 
Canton, 0 @ King Philip, 2 – Final – The Warriors took the lead in the 20th minute when Larsen Keys ball over the top sprung right back Ryan Coulter, who cut the ball back to Tyler Mann for the finish. In the second half, Cam Mullins scored on a long distance free kick to seal the win for KP. Mann also hit the post in the second half and Canton goalie Sean Mitchell made a great double save to rob Clayton Guess and Mann in the first half.

Sharon, 1 @ Franklin, 4 – Final – Kevin Hall opened the scoring for the Panthers off an assist from Farley Asmath while Austin Kent scored once in the first half and also set up Nick Parent. Hatim Brahimi converted a service from Brian Czuba in the second half for the Panthers. 
Stoughton, 2 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield goalie Michael Kirejczyk played outstanding in goal with 12 saves according to head coach Steve Sheridan. High pressure paid off for Mansfield as Jared Miller opened the scoring inside the first 10 minutes to give the Hornets the early lead. Stoughton knotted the game at one apiece on a goal from Jordan Asnes but the Hornets once again took the lead after a throw in from Max Gurnon found its way into the back of the net. Mansfield put away it’s third goal of the game after a quick restart from Sean Lanzillo found Charlie Rogers and Rogers chipped his shot over the keeper into the back of the net. Stoughton’s second goal was scored by freshman Fabio Ponce De Leon after a long throw in from Josh Mitchell.
Oliver Ames, 4 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames held a slim one goal advantage at the break on a goal from sophomore Cam Vella on an assist from Thomas McCormick but exploded for three in the second half. Seniors Chris Romero and Keegan Nutt each scored in the second half and sophomore Matt Alvarado netted his first career goal. Jack Sheldon, Nutt and Romero all had assists. Head coach John Barata said Nathaniel Cardoza had a strong game in the midfield while Max Ahearn, Jared Mallers and Max Bamford were strong in the back. Jack Carroll and Connor Naughton combined for the shutout in goal. 
Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 0 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Milford’s Katie Brown scored the lone goal of the match on an assist from Kristen Franzini. Emily Duquette made 10 saves in net for the Scarlet Hawks.
King Philip, 0 @ Canton, 2 – Final – The Bulldogs dominated possession from start to finish but struggled to get the ball past KP goalie Maggie Hall. The Warriors nearly took the lead with their only chance of the second half when Kate Sexton sent in a low cross to Maddie Smith, who was denied by a point-blank save by Kathryn Doody. With 12 minutes left to play, Tessa Cudmore slipped a pass behind the right back to Sarah Collins whose shot was tipped on to the bar into the path of senior Meaghan Hunter on the far post. Four minutes later, Hannah Link followed her own shot to put the game away.

Mansfield, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Hannah Reiter, Jackie Carchedi and Emma Goulet each found the back of the net once and recorded an assist for Mansfield in the Hornets’ win. Jen Kemp also found the back of the Hornets. Stoughton goalie Marissa Williams made 11 saves in net and junior Amelia Cochran scored the Black Knights’ lone goal
North Attleboro, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – Hana Caster scored the opening goal inside the first 15 minutes of the first half off an assist from Haley Guertin. Oliver Ames tied the game early in the second half when Francesca Calabraro converted a cross from Erin Fitzgerald. But North struck again late as Caster returned the favor to Guertin for the game winning goal. North Attleboro head coach Glenn Pasquel credited goalie Kiesten Bixby as the MVP of the game after making some “phenomenal saves.”
Volleyball
Mansfield, 3 vs. Bishop Feehan, 2 – Final – After winning the first two games, the Hornets had to fight all the way to a fifth set against the Shamrocks. Mansfield won 25-21, 25-17, 18-25, 17-25, 15-12. Sarah Mullahy led Mansfield with 14 kills and six aces while Jessica Haradon added 11 kills and three aces.  
Field Hockey
Milford, 1 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final – Emily Houle and Grace Mayer each scored for the Bombardiers while Attleboro goalie Isabelle Maragnano made five saves in net. Milford’s Shannon Cormier cut the lead in half in the second half on an assist from Jessica Palmer. 

Canton, 0 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – Caitlin Donahue scored twice and added an assist as King Philip jumped out to a 1-0 lead at halftime and never looked back. Donahue’s goals were assisted by Ally Meehan and Courtney Foley. Casie Curtin added a goal off an assist from Sedona Claypoole and Elizabeth Furfari scored on Donahue’s assists. The Warriors outshot Canton 12-5 in the contest. 
Foxboro, 0 @ Taunton, 0 – Final
Sharon, 1 @ Franklin, 7 – Final – Julia Jette paced the Panthers with a pair of goals an assists in the win. Franklin senior Kelsey McPhee opened the scoring on assists from senior Kenzi Pleshaw junior Caroline Lounsbury. Senior Diana Griffin, sophomore Christina Quinn, junior Caroline Lounsbury, junior Kayla Marshall each added goals and junior Alex Sullivan had two assists. Senior Kate D’Entremont earned the victory between the pipes.
Stoughton, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield’s Emily Ierardo scored a pair of goals and Mary Kate Kelly added a third for the Hornets. Angela Connolly scored the lone goal for Stoughton assisted by Olivia Schlehuber.
