Canton, 9 vs. Randolph, 0 – FinalErik Valdovinos scored a hat trick as Canton came away with its best offensive showing of the season with a big win over Randolph. Jorge Nebril, ZaZa Franceour (two assists), Ryan Kovner, and Sam Mayer each scored their first career goals for the Dogs. Jake McCabe and Drew Garrett also scored in the win

King Philip, 1 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 2 – Final

Stoughton, 1 vs. East Bridgewater, 1 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game.Stoughton senior Wenderson Silva de Souza scored midway through the second half but the Black Knights had to settle for a draw after an equalizer in the final minute from the visiting Vikings. Silva de Souza headed in a great cross from classmate Rhuan Carvalho to put the Knights ahead in the 64th minute. Sophomore keeper Ben Shirey made a terrific diving save two minutes later to help preserve the lead at the time.

Girls Soccer
King Philip, 0 vs. Hingham, 3 – Final

Milford, 2 vs. Malden Catholic, 1 – FinalAmy Oliveira broke a 1-1 tie midway through the second half to earn the Hawks a win in the regular season finale. Brooke Ferreira opened the scoring for Milford and Kailany Ferreira made 10 saves to help the Hawks close on a high note.

Oliver Ames, 4 @ North Attleboro, 1 – FinalCamryn O’Connor recorded three points as the Tigers went on the road and beat North Attleboro, clinching sole possession of the Hockomock League’s Davenport division title. O’Connor scored a pair of goals for OA, who had a 3-0 advantage at halftime. Halle Kander and Katie Gibson also scored for the Tigers while Lucinda Li Cotter, Alexa Lane, and Allison Evin each had an assist.

Stoughton, 1 @ Sharon, 4 – FinalSofia Goclowski and Olivia Soby each scored twice and assisted on another to help the Eagles split the season series with Stoughton. Bianca Casna scored for the Black Knights. Amber Marcus-Blank had another strong performance for Sharon’s defense. Casna and Makenzie O’Connor proved to be a solid pairing in the attack for Stoughton and Samantha Tran had another solid all-around game.

Milford, 0 @ Franklin, 11 – FinalFranklin exploded for five goals in the first quarter of the game and never looked back to knock off Milford, finishing undefeated in league action this year. Kaitlyn Carney had a hat trick in the first quarter and finished the game with four goals while Shaw Downing (three goals) and Haley Wernig (two goals) also scored in the first quarter. Delaney Hess and Emily Carney (two assists) each added a goal in the win while Kendall Jones and Raena Crandall each had an assist in the win.

King Philip, 0 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalAfter a close contest in the first meeting, King Philip and Attleboro finished level this time around as both squads wrapped up their respective regular seasons with a point. Sophomore Kelly Holmes had another outstanding game for the Warriors with eight shots on goal and a handful of corners created. Holmes also played well defensively, thwarting the Bombardiers’ offensive attempts throughout the game. Christina Gifun, Molly Piller, and Margo Riley also played well for KP.

Taunton, 2 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalAfter a scoreless first half, Taunton found the back of the net twice to knock off Mansfield on the road and put themselves in position to possibly make the playoffs under the state’s new rating system. According to the MIAA’s latest update, the Tigers sat at 36th in Division 1 but have gone 2-1 since (the top 32 rated teams make it plus any team over .500). Caelen O’Leary (from Ashley Amaro) put the visitors ahead and Jasmine Lucier (from Braeley MacDonald) doubled the lead. Maddie Brown scored in the fourth quarter for Mansfield. Em Gannon made 11 saves in net for the win while Kylie Thorpe, Kaysie DeMoura, and Thalia Nogueira also played well for the Tigers.

Volleyball
Canton, 3 vs. Quincy, 0 – FinalCanton picked up one of its best wins of the season, sweeping Quincy 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-19). Quincy is one of the top-ranked teams in Division 1 and won its division in the Patriot League this season. Syd Gallery (nine kills, two blocks, six digs, and two aces) and Talya DeGraw (five kills, 15 digs, two aces) both had strong all-around games for the Bulldogs while. Fatima Sidibay added six kills and four blocks. Anna Verille anchored the defense with 19 digs and Taylor Reynolds ran the offense with 29 assists.

Attleboro, 4 @ King Philip, 1 – FinalKing Philip took an early lead but the visitors scored three goals before halftime and added an insurance tally in the second half to get the two points and stay in the Kelley-Rex division title hunt. Trailing 1-0, sophomore Billy Badger scored a pair of goals — the first off an assist from Alex Vecchioli and the second from senior Yianni Skordas. Skordas then extended the lead before halftime off of Vecchioli’s second assist of the season. Attleboro senior Liam Bischoff capped the scoring with a late strike off an assist from junior Esvin Morales.

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game.Oliver Ames scored four goals in the last 40 minutes of action to beat Foxboro, and combined with other results from around the league, clinched the Davenport division title outright. It marks the second straight Davenport title, the program’s third straight division crown, and the fourth in the last five seasons for OA. “I think we just started to relax and play our game,” said OA head coach John Barata. “To achieve that with this new group, I’m very happy for him. Our first goal is always qualifying for the the tournament, the next is to win the league and we’ve done those too…the third is to see what we can do in the tournament.” Foxboro took the lead in the 18th minute when senior Matt Angelini was taken down in the area. Angelini deposited the penalty kick low to the left and that 1-0 advantage held up to halftime. But it didn’t hold long into the second half as OA struck less than a minute into the second frame. Michael Haikal’s shot was denied on a good save by Derek Axon but senior Clide Neau, back in his first game after missing a handful of games due to injury, was first to the rebound and touched it over the keeper and into the net. OA doubled the lead 15 minutes later as Haikal blasted a free kick over the wall and in from 25 yards out. Foxboro nearly drew level in the 62nd minute when sophomore John Hollis whipped in a cross that was met by junior Alex Penders, but his header was stopped on a diving save from OA keeper Drew Hall, who was forced into the match due to an injury that happened on the penalty kick. “Drew had a fantastic save, what a save for a freshman,” Barata said. OA tacked two more within a five-minute span; first a free kick from just over midfield from Mathias Taylor was finished off at the near post by freshman Casey Milliken, and then Milliken played Neau in behind and he slotted a low shot past the oncoming keeper to the far stick.

Franklin, 1 @ Milford, 1 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game.Milford and Franklin scored just a minute apart in the second half as the teams each took a hard-fought point in a physical battle that felt like a playoff game. After a scoreless first half, Milford junior John Borges delivered a terrific cross from the right side and classmate Eduardo Santana made a nice run to the near post and finished to put the hosts ahead in the 44th minute. But Franklin orchestrated an immediate response as senior Jack Moran stuck with the play down the left wing, somehow keeping it in bounds around a pair of defenders before sliding a low cross that was finished at the far post by junior Will Krysak. Franklin’s back four, anchored by senior Aidan Griffth and sophomore Rex Cinelli, played well. Franklin goalie Griffin Tolonen made a point-blank save in the 74th minute while Milford keeper Kevin Gomes did the same in the final three minutes to preserve the draw.

Mansfield, 1 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalMansfield took down Taunton for the second time this season, snapping a six-game winless streak to get back in the win column. Senior Matt Hyland headed in a long throw from classmate Michael Caridi in the 24th minute for the lone tally of the game. Sophomore Ty Duffin earned his first career shutout in his first career start, making 10 saves for the win. Sophomore Derek McGrath filled in at center back for the Hornets and had a terrific showing to help the visitors get the shutout. Caridi, senior Ian Leeds, senior Kevin McCarthy, and junior Brendan Flynn also played well defensively alongside McGrath while Hyland, senior Danny Rowe, and juniors Dan Checkoway and Grady Sullivan all had a good game in the midfield.

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 7 – FinalHolding a 1-0 lead at halftime on an own goal, North Attleboro turned it on offensively in the second half with six different goal scorers to run away with a win over the visiting Black Knights. Sophomore Kaden Burns, junior Carson Dameron, senior Connor Ward, senior Patrick McDermott, senior Jaad Ismail (from junior Silas Brooks-Hedstrom), and senior Connor Bearer (from Joe Shepard) all scored (in that order) in the second half for the Rocketeers.










Girls Soccer
King Philip, 2 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalAttleboro battled back from two goals down at halftime to earn a tie with KP and move the Bombardiers to the brink of tournament qualification. Emily Dunlea started the comeback with a free kick from 18 yards that cut the lead in half. Attleboro tied it on a run by Emily Khang, who fed the ball across to Zoe Johnson-Kiff for the finish. Bombardiers coach Steve Santos praised his team’s defensive effort and goalie Alexis Campbell for timely saves.

Sharon, 3 @ Canton, 4 – FinalCanton jumped out to a 4-1 lead and then held off a Sharon comeback in the second half to get back to .500 on the season. Emily McCabe continued her torrid scoring form with a hat trick and Anne Hoban returned from an injury that has kept her out for the past few weeks, scoring a goal in her final home game. Wendy Wooden got Sharon’s first goal, assisted by Olivia Soby. After the break, the Eagles got a brace from Autumn Simon, both goals set up by Sofia Goclowski. Amber Marcus-Blank played well defensively in the loss.

Milford, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – FinalWith the win, and KP’s draw against Attleboro, Franklin clinched the outright Kelley-Rex title. Anna Grasso scored twice to lead the Panthers on senior night. Riley Fitzpatrick and Anya Zub each had a goal and assist, while Stella Regan and Emily Reilly each had assists for the Panthers.

Taunton, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalMansfield bounced back with a clean sheet against Taunton. Lyla Nappa, Carly Devine, and Gabby Smith each found the back of the net for the Hornets.

North Attleboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalNorth kept its playoff hopes alive with a big win at Stoughton. Emma Pratt and Steph McKenna each scored a pair of goals to lead the Rocketeers. Caroline Ferrin opened the scoring by finishing off scrum in front of goal and Pratt doubled the lead off a Casey Butanowicz assist. McKenna made it 3-0 and then Pratt closed out the half with her second of the day, assisted by Brooke Sullivan. McKenna got her brace early in the second half, with Ferrin getting the assist, and Charlotte Moynihan added one from the spot. Butanowicz closed out the scoring with her first varsity goal, finishing off a Moynihan corner. Maddie Ferrin stopped a penalty to record the clean sheet. Samantha Tran played well and Abigail Durand made several big stops for the Black Knights.

Field Hockey
Oliver Ames, 1 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalFor Oliver Ames, Georgia Costello had the goal on a penalty stroke while Maddie Proia, Lily Gaskill, and Ava Costello all played well.

King Philip, 3 @ Medway, 0 – FinalKing Philip earned its fourth non-league win of the season and improved to 18-0 with a 3-0 sweep (25-16, 25-11, 25-22) on the road at Medway, who entered the game at 14-2. Senior Gianna DiLorenzo had a stellar showing at the service line for the Warriors with 17 service points while Stella Bailey also played well overall with four aces and five digs. Ahunna James (seven kills) and Sami Shore (seven kills, three blocks) both played well at the net.

Stoughton, 1 @ Canton, 4 – FinalCanton picked up a key two points and gained some ground in the division title race with a win over Stoughton. Jake McCabe continued his current hot streak with two more goals to pace the offense. Erik Valdovinos and Jacob Crugnale each added one goal in the win while Dylan Baird played well in the midfield. The Bulldogs pushed their unbeaten streak to six games and sit just two points out of the lead in the Davenport.

Foxboro, 0 @ North Attleboro, 1 – FinalNorth Attleboro grabbed its third straight win and third straight shutout with a win over visiting Foxboro, leapfrogging the Warriors in the standings. Junior Givany Carney headed in a cross from classmate Griffin Rodden in the 55th minute for the lone goal of the game. David Floyd came up with a handful of big stops to preserve the shutout while Brody Rosenberg and Jaad Ismail had solid showings defensively.

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 1 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game.Franklin scored the lone goal of the game just under 15 minutes into the contest to earn a season split with Taunton. Tim O’Keefe served a free kick from the right wing into the area that was redirected before falling to the feet of senior Terry O’Neill, who buried his chance from in close. The Panthers had a handful of good looks in the second half but couldn’t tack on a second goal; Taunton keeper Javonte Fernandes had a pair of terrific stops to help keep the deficit at one.

King Philip, 1 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalKing Philip sophomore Tommy Lomuscio scored the equalizer with just under 10 minutes to go to help the Warriors grab a point on the road against Mansfield. The Hornets had an ideal start when senior Matt Hyland scored just five minutes into the game to give the hosts the lead, finishing off a pass from classmate James Li. Both Connor O’Reilly (King Philip) and Jack Lasbury-Casey (Mansfield) played well in net.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalSharon recorded the upset of the season, snapping OA’s 10-game unbeaten streak and avenging a 6-1 loss from earlier this year. Adam Landstein scored the lone goal of the game, finishing off a pass from James Zhang. Brady Daylor recorded the shutout in net for the Eagles.

Milford, 0 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalAttleboro broke open a scoreless game with three goals in the second half and moved back to .500 on the season. Seven minutes into the second half Jamie Davies was able to break the deadlock, assisted by Bethany Alves. Kacey Parker teed up Kahlan Gray for a 30-yard strike that double the lead. Emily Dunlea sealed the win with Attleboro’s third goal. Emily Khang picked up the assist.

Canton, 6 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this game. Canton scored six unanswered goals to pick up a big road win and move a win away from .500 on the season. Emily McCabe had four goals and an assist to power the Bulldogs offensively. Stoughton got off to a good start in the match and grabbed the lead after 12 minutes when Makenzie O’Connor coolly finished from the penalty spot. Canton equalized in the 28th minute when Ava Gilmore found the back of the net from long distance. McCabe broke the deadlock with the last kick of the half, taking a pass from Lauren Shatkin, cutting in on her left foot, and finding the back of the net. McCabe would add three goals in the first 12 minutes of the second half, twice running onto balls in behind the Stoughton back line and tapping in after a cross from the left by Devan Spinale. Fay Gallery wrapped up the scoring in the last minute when she met a McCabe corner at the back post.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Foxboro, 4 – FinalNeve Taylor had a goal and an assist, as Foxboro held off a challenge from North to remain in a first-place tie. Taylor opened the scoring, finishing off a feed from Jordan Carman. Erin Foley made it 2-0 off another Carman assist. Kailee McCabe added a third with a solo run and finish. Lauren Miley wrapped up the scoring with a nice touch on a cross by Taylor.

Franklin, 4 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalStella Regan’s brace powered Franklin to a road win that keeps the Panthers in first place in the Kelley-Rex, two points ahead of Mansfield and KP. Kelly O’Connor and Selene Hammad each scored as well for the Panthers, while Anya Zub had a pair of assists. Jackie O’Neill and Emma Reilly also had helpers in the win, while Rachel Welch and Haylie Aniki split the clean sheet in goal. Franklin coach Jodi Klein praised her team’s composure and ball movement.

Mansfield, 5 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalThe Hornets moved into a tie with KP for second place in the Kelley-Rex with a big win on the road. Mansfield had five different goal scorers. Olivia Homsi got the first on an assist from Tarynn Smith, but KP answered back on a penalty from Ella Pisani. Gabby Smith had the second, scoring direct from a corner, but again the Warriors responded as Mikayla Thompson scored unassisted. Alexis O’Keefe put the visitors back in front, assisted by Bridget Hanley and Tarynn Smith scored off a pass from Anna Darlington for her second point of the night to make it 4-2 at the break. Kara Santos closed out the scoring for the Hornets with a second half free kick. Olivia Salisbury made seven saves, including three diving stops, to pick up the win in goal.

Sharon, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – FinalOA pulled away to earn another win and remain tied with Foxboro atop the Davenport, scoring four goals in the second half. Katie Gibson, Lauren Sellmayer, Carly Gibson, Camryn O’Connor and Allison Evin were the goal scorers for OA while Emily Meyers and Kathrine Farley combined for the shutout in goal. Sharon had strong performances in the midfield from Sofia Goclowski and Amber Marcus-Blank. Jordanna Morris played well for the Eagles in defense and Autumn Simon had a good first half in goal and created several scoring opportunities playing up top after the break.




Field Hockey
Canton, 2 @ Braintree, 0 – Final

Franklin, 5 @ Algonquin, 2 – FinalFranklin scored three goals in the final quarter to break a tie game and pull away from Algonquin for its 13th win of the season. Algonquin twice took the lead, the first coming in the opening quarter but a goal from Shaw Downing (from Kaitlyn Carney) four minutes later leveled the match, which stayed 1-1 into halftime. Algonquin regained the lead less than a minute into the third but Kendall Jones finished a pass from Carney four minutes later to make it 2-2 heading into the fourth. Haley Wernig put the visitors ahead less than five minutes into the fourth off of Carney’s third assist of the game and then Carney scored herself with just under five minutes to go to make it 4-2.Jones tacked on her second goal of the game two minutes later on a pass from Kaeley Dubriske. Jones also made a pair of huge defensive saves while goalie Megan Sullivan had seven stops.

Taunton, 0 @ New Bedford, 3 – FinalAshley Amaro and Thalia Nogeira played well in the loss for the Tigers.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 2 – FinalOliver Ames rallied from a two-set deficit to stun Bridgewater-Raynham, earning a season sweep of the Trojans with a 3-2 win (23-25, 21-25, 25-12, 25-12, 15-9). Sophomore Claire O’Rourke helped rally the Tigers with 24 kills and five aces while classmate Sarah Hilliard added 24 kills and four aces. Junior Maddie Homer recorded 42 digs and Hadley Rhodes dished out 39 assists.

Mathias Taylor, Michael Haikal, Hector Bucio and Diego Rivera had great games for the Tigers while Sasha Priajinski earned his eighth shutout of the season in net.

Foxboro, 4 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final Foxboro scored twice in each half to pick up two points on the road over Stoughton. The Warriors scored in quick succession in the first half as AJ Carvalho opened the scoring in the 26th minute and then an own goal (credited to John Hollis) doubled the advantage just two minutes later. In the second half, Cam Barreira set up Alex Penders in the 60th minute for the 3-0 lead and then Barreira capped the scoring with a goal of his own off a feed from Jacob Tessier. Derek Axon notched the shutout in net for Foxboro.

Taunton, 1 @ King Philip, 1 – FinalKing Philip and Taunton traded goals, one coming in each half, and the Warriors and Tigers split the two points. Andrew Seropian gave the hosts the lead in the 12th minute, finishing off a pass from Stephen Griffin to make it 1-0. Taunton’s Riley Rebello equalized in the 49th minute, finishing a free kick to the back post to bring the Tigers level.

Milford, 2 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalMilford used a pair of first half goals to earn two points on the road, splitting the season series with Mansfield. Artur Tome opened the scoring with an assist to Bill Silva. Just minutes later, Eduardo Santana doubled the lead with the assist going to Tome.

Junior Griffin Rodden doubled the lead in the 28th minute, taking a pass from Givany Carney and finishing. Jaad Ismail’s goal in the 70th minute secured the points for North as the senior finished a corner kick from Ward for a 3-0 lead.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Canton, 0 – FinalJunior Mary Cross scored the lone goal of the game as Oliver Ames claimed a key two points on the road over Davenport for Canton. Cross finished off a pass from Allison Evin in the first half for the lone goal of the game. Emily Meyers earned the shutout in goal for the Tigers.

Stoughton, 0 @ Foxboro, 7 – FinalFoxboro scored four times in the second half to break the game open and keep itself in a first-place tie with OA. Kailee McCabe and Jordan Carman each recorded four points for the Warriors. McCabe scored three times and added an assist, while Carman found the back of the net once and had a hat trick of assists. Lauren Miley scored a brace and DeAnna Hardiman got one. Shayla Ford had a solid game in defense for the Black Knights and Sivannah Marcy was a good outlet up front.

King Philip, 5 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalA day after she tallied a hat trick and five points, Ella Pisani added two more goals and another assist to lift KP to another road win. The Warriors pulled even on points with Franklin for the league lead, having played one more game. Pisani, Brooke Mullins, and Dani Lomuscio all scored in the first half to put KP comfortably ahead. Morgan Norrman, Eilish McGowen, and Pisani each had assist in the opening half. After the break, Pisani completed her brace and Kylie Menendez added the fifth. Paulina Baczkowski and McGowen assisted on the second half goals.

Mansfield, 2 @ Milford, 0 – FinalTarynn Smith’s brace lifted the Hornets to a road win at Milford, getting Mansfield back on track and keeping it alive in the league title race. Olivia Salisbury made one stop to earn the clean sheet.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalEmma Pratt and Abbie Pratt each scored in the first half to put the Rocketeers in front. Autumn Simon scored early in the second half off a Sofia Goclowski assist to cut the North lead in half, but Emma Pratt added her second of the game to seal the two points. Haley Sinacola assisted on each of Emma Pratt’s goals and Caroline Ferrin had the assist on Abbie Pratt’s. North came close several times in the second half, with Steph McKenna, Autumn Hewitt, and Casey Butanowicz narrowly missing. Brayden Rice played well for the Rocketeers in midfield, while Meaghan Dowd, Summer Doherty, and Charlotte Moynihan had good games at the back. Leah Steinberg and Carmen Leonardi played well defensively for the Eagles.

Canton, 3 @ Fontbonne Academy, 1 – FinalCanton overcame an error-prone opening set to settle in, using a complete team effort to rally for a 3-1 win (23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-15) on the road at Fontbonne. Talya DeGraw had an all-around good match for the Bulldogs with six kills and 27 digs, Katie Dever played well in the middle with four kills and two blocks, and Kelly MacDonald played strong in the backcourt and served well.

King Philip, 3 @ Walpole, 0 – FinalKP swept Walpole for the second time this season, winning 25-12, 25-15, 25-10 to stay unbeaten. Sami Shore led the way with 11 kills and four aces, while Ahunna James had eight kills and seven digs, and Emily Sawyer finished with seven kills and three blocks. Sofia Reidel had a strong service game with seven aces and Stella Bailey chipped in with four aces and five digs. Samantha Asprelli had another strong defensive match with eight digs.

Taunton, 3 vs. Durfee, 1 – FinalTaunton jumped out to a two-set advantage and took care of business in the fourth to win the match 3-1 (25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 25-14) after dropping a close third set. Angie Lynch had a great all-around game for the Tigers with eight kills, seven digs, four aces, and a block to lead the way. Mikayla Cleary added five kills, four aces, and four blocks while Anna Abouzeid dished out 18 assists and added three kills and a pair of aces. Dani Lofgren (14 digs and excellent serve receive) and Jess Foley (eight digs, three aces) both played well defensively for Taunton.

Hansy Jacques opened his account on the season in the 27th minute, finishing off a pass from Rex Cinelli to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Senior Terry O’Neill doubled Franklin’s advantage off of an assist from Tim O’Keefe.

Foxboro, 1 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalFoxboro broke the deadlock with the lone goal of the game with just over 10 minutes to play to grab a win on the road at Taunton. After an hour of scoreless play, Foxboro senior Matt Angelini put the visitors ahead in the 68th minute, finishing off a corner kick from John Hollis.

Franklin, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalSophomore Anya Zub scored twice and had one assist as the Panthers picked up two points on the road. Zub scored one goal off a pass from Norah Anderson and her second came off a pass from Izzy Arnold. Zub set up Stella Regan for a goal for the Panthers, who had a 2-0 lead at halftime. Amber Marcus-Blank had the Sharon goal, burying her chance from the spot. Sofia Goclowski and Carly Pinnix played well for the Eagles in the midfield and Samantha Connors had strong games in defense and in goal.

Grace Riley had a pair of assists, while Lauren Miley and Kylie O’Keefe each had one.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Canton, 1 – FinalFor the second straight day, Oliver Ames overcame a one-set deficit to pick up a 3-1 win, this time on the road against division foe Canton (19-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-18). Sophomore Claire O’Rourke had a standout performance at the net for the Tigers with 14 kills and three aces. Head coach Chelsea Cunningham said that Hadley Rhodes dished out 46 assists, Maddie Homer recorded a season-high 54 digs, and Sarah Hillard had 26 kills. For Canton, Jess Wright led the offense with 17 kills while Anna Verille and Zoe Scibelli combined for 30 digs.

Boys Soccer
Franklin, 1 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalEsvin Morales set up the tying goal and scored the game-winner just minutes later as the Bombardiers rallied to take a win over Franklin. With the win, Attleboro moves into a first place tie in the Kelley-Rex division with Mansfield. Franklin opened the scoring just before the half hour mark. Tyler Powderly used his speed to get down the right wing and play in a cross. The initial ball was cleared but only as far as junior Max Tobin, who one-timed it into the top corner to put the visitors ahead. Attleboro’s best chance of the first half came in the 17th minute when senior Yianni Skordas forced a turnover and pushed forward, centering to Morales. Morales cut back to evade a defender and the keeper but his shot on goal was denied by Franklin senior midfielder Terry O’Neill. In the second half, Cashel Stuger played the ball to Morales, who turned and played a ball over the top of the defense and sophomore Alex Vecchioli finished the half volley from a step inside the area to bring the hosts level. Four minutes later, after Franklin was whistled for a handball, Morales stepped over the ball and placed a shot on frame while the Panthers were setting up the wall and it just beat the diving keeper for the game-winner.

Milford, 2 vs. Hopedale, 0 – FinalMilford scored a pair of second half goals to earn a win over local rival Hopedale. John Borges had two assists for the Scarlet Hawks, setting up both goals. First, Borges found Eduardo Santana to put the hosts in front and then Borges assisted on a goal from Chris Tocci.

Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalSenior Riley Fitzpatrick scored a pair of goals to lead the Panthers to a win at home over the visiting Bombardiers. Fitzpatrick had a beautiful header off a free kick from Norah Anderson and scored her other goal off a pass from Anya Zub. Zub had two assists in the win, setting up senior Stella Regan for the other Franklin goal.

Sharon, 4 @ Milford, 5 – FinalDani Atherton had a hat trick and an assist to lead Milford to a wild win over Sharon. It was Milford’s second win in the past three days. Paige Caldon added her second goal in as many games and Cailyn Paccico had one for the Hawks. The Eagles got two goals apiece from Wendy Wooden and Carly Pinnix. Olivia Soby had two assists and Sofia Goclowski had one for Sharon and Amber Marcus-Blank played well defensively.

Attleboro, 5 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalMadison Ellis scored a hat trick to pace the Bombardiers to a big win on the road over Mansfield. Attleboro recevied a great defensive effort from Trinity Harrison and the Bombardiers transitioned from defense to offense smoothly due to the strong play of Jordan Croteau. Olivia Hillman had a strong game on the right side for the visitors and scored once.

Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 1 – FinalCanton’s Ellie Bohane scored late in the fourth quarter to give the Bulldogs a win over Foxboro, stretching their unbeaten streak to eight. Bohane converted a pass from Sierra Abbott for the lone goal of the game while Carolyn Durand made key saves down the stretch to preserve the shutout.

For Attleboro, Julia Leonardo recorded eight kills while Brianna Frissora had a great game at the net.

Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final Canton bounced back from a tough five-set loss to Westwood with a clean 3-0 sweep (25-8, 25-17, 25-22) over visiting Foxboro. Jess Wright continued to lead the offense for the Bulldogs with 12 kills and added eight digs. Taylor Reynold dished out 22 assists to go with six aces, Syd Gallery added five kills and two aces, and Anna Verille continued to shine defensively with 15 digs and two kills.

Senior captain Jake Kaplan shot a medalist round of 35 to lead the way for the Tigers. Junior Michael McGinnis and sophomore Aden Ashley each shot a 39 to count for the scoring for the first time in their careers. Sophomore Lucas Riley and junior Daniel Paul both added a 40 in the win.

Sharon, 171 @ Canton, 147 – FinalSophomore Mekhala Costello capped a tremendous week with another medalist round, this time a one-over par round of 35 to lead the Bulldogs to a big win at home over Sharon. The win clinches at least a share of the Davenport division title for Canton. Mike Loenetti added a 36 in the win, Conor Hunter chipped in with a 37, and Will Gefteas finished with a 39 for Canton. Eric Carter led the way for Sharon with a round of 41, Owen Kevorkian added a 42, and Nathan Daley, Noah Glassman, and James Spoto all shot a 44 for the Eagles.

Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final Mansfield got off to a great start with a goal in the opening minutes but it was all Attleboro the rest of the way, The Bombardiers leveled the game just before halftime and both teams took a point with a 1-1 draw. Junior Connor Palinski finished off a pass from classmate Grady Sullivan just three minutes into the game to take the lead. Attleboro sophomore Alex Vecchioli brought the Bombardiers level just before the halftime whistle on an assist from Kyle Neuendorf.

Foxboro, 1 @ Canton, 2 – Final

King Philip, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – Final Franklin scored twice in a 10-minute span in the second half and got a strong performance from its back line to blank King Philip. Jack Moran broke the stalemate with a goal in the 65th minute on an assist from Will Krysak. Ten minutes later, senior Terry O’Neill doubled the lead and buried the insurance goal off a feed from Ben Costa. The Panthers got strong defensive performances Aidan Griffith, Rex Cinelli, Bradley Herndon, Nelson Martinez, Will Klawson, and Andrew O’Neill.

Taunton, 2 @ Milford, 2 – Final Taunton jumped out to a two goal lead in the first half but Milford cut the deficit in half by the break and scored the tying goal in the final minutes to get the tie. An own goal gave the Tigers the lead and senior Jairson Varela finished from in close to push the advantage to 2-0. A corner kick from Bill Silva was misplayed and went in shortly before half to get the Hawks on the board. On a counter attack, Silva played Eduardo Santana in behind the defense and he finished with two minutes to go to grab a point.

Oliver Ames, 6 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalOliver Ames stayed red hot on the offensive end of the pitch, pumping in six goals for the second straight contest. Senior Clide Neau scored a hat to lead the way while classmate Michael Haikal scored once and had one assist. John Dobbin added two goals, Mathias Taylor recorded three assists, and Casey Milliken had two assists.

Franklin, 1 @ King Philip, 0 – FinalStella Regan scored from about 30 yards out after taking a throw-in from Jackie O’Neil. It turned out to be the winner, as the Franklin defense and goalie Rachel Welch made it stand up. The win keeps the Panthers in a first-place tie with Mansfield and drops KP two points back of the division leaders. Bridget Leo, Chloe Barca, and Regan had strong games in the center of the pitch and Franklin coach Jodi Klein praised her team’s ability to control the ball and stay focused throughout.

Milford, 4 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalSerena Borges had a brace and Dani Atherton (a goal and two assists) totaled three points, as Milford went on the road and picked up its first win of the season. Freshman Paige Caldon also found the back of the net for the Hawks, her first varsity goal. Kailany Ferreira made seven saves in goal, picking up her first career win in the process.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – FinalKatie Gibson and Camryn O’Connor each found the back of the net twice as Oliver Ames rolled to a win at home over the Rocketeers. Kyla Melton, Sophie Byron, and Ella McDonough all had strong games for the Tigers while Charlotte Moynihan, Abby Pratt and Brayden Rice played well for North Attleboro.

Sharon, 2 @ Stoughton, 3 – FinalSivannah Marcy scored with a few minutes remaining to lift Stoughton to come from behind victory. Trailing 2-1 at the break, Stoughton moved Shayla Ford up front to try to get more of an attacking threat and it worked as she scored the equalizer, assisted by Lauren Mitchell. Makenzie O’Connor, in her first game back from an injury, got her second assist of the day, setting up Marcy for the winner. O’Connor also set up the game’s opening goal with a cross to Isabella Rodrigues, who put away her first goal of the season. Sharon came storming back as Sofia Goclowski and Wendy Wooden each found the back of the net, both assisted by Autumn Simon. The Eagles had chances to extend the lead, but couldn’t take their opportunities and the Black Knights put together a comeback to split the season series. Bianca Casna and Sabrina Rodrigues also played well to help Stoughton earn the win.

Junior Maddie Homer added 21 digs, senior Hadley Rhodes recorded 11 assists and seven kills, and sophomore Claire O’Rourke chipped in with 10 kills.

Mansfield, 168 @ Canton, 147 – FinalCanton sophomore Mekhala Costello fired a one over par round of 35 to lead the Bulldogs to their second win in as many days. Nate MacDonald added a 36 for the hosts while both Conor Hunter and Will Gefteas finished the day with a 38. Cian Goulet had a team-low round of 39, Ryan Doherty shot a 42 on the day, Hunter Tang chipped in with a 43, and both Drew Urban and Nate McClean finished at 44.

Taunton, 190 @ Milford, 178 – Final Jacob Hipolito and Anthony LaPierre shared match medalist honors to help Milford record its second win over Taunton in as many days, sweeping the series against the Tigers with a win at Hopedale Country Club. Both LaPierre and Hipolito finished with a round of 42. Loran Corcoran led Taunton with a 46 while Jack Gobin added a 47.

Oliver Ames, 160 @ Sharon, 171 – FinalOliver Ames went on the road and returned home from The Cape Club of Sharon with a division win over the Eagles. Senior Jo Jo Gaultier shot a team-low round of 38 to help the Tigers pick up their ninth win of the season. Sean Kearns added a 40 for OA while both Lucas Riley and Jack Kaplan came into the clubhouse with a 41.

Attleboro, 169 @ Franklin, 157 – Final Franklin defended its home turf with a win over upset-minded Attleboro at Franklin Country Club. Jack Hagerty led the way for the Panthers with a team-best round of 36, Brendan Collins added a 39, CJ Steel chipped in with a 41, and Jack Ryan finished at 42 for the day.

Milford, 2 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalMilford senior Chris Tocci converted a pair of penalty kicks to give the Hawks an important win on the road at Foxboro. The visitors took the lead in the first half after David Desa was taken down in the box and Tocci stepped up and buried his chance. Foxboro knotted the score at 1-1 when Matt Angelini scored in the second half but minutes later, John Borges was fouled by the keeper and Tocci scored from the spot once again.

Franklin, 5 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final Five different players found the back of the net as Franklin had its best offensive showing of the season in a win at Stoughton. Jack Moran opened the scoring on a goal from Nelson Martinez while Will Krysak scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal on an assist from Terry O’Neill. Noah Cain, Gavin Scagliarini (from Connor Brown), and Andrew O’Neill (from Trey Lovell) also scored for the Panthers.

King Philip, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 6 – FinalOliver Ames came out of the games flying, scoring less than two minutes into the game, tacking on two more within the first 10 minutes, and riding a total of five first half goals to a win at home over King Philip. Hector Bucio headed in the opening goal in the 2nd minute, finishing off a cross from Ryan Linhares. OA doubled the lead two minutes later when freshman Casey Milliken got his first of the game on a pass from Clide Neau. Milliken then returned the favor in the 7th minute, connecting with Neau, who made it 3-0. Mathias Taylor (from Milliken) scored on a great shot from distance and Milliekn (from Neau) grabbed his second shortly before halftime. Milliken completed his hat trick on a feed from Linhares.

Taunton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 1 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game – North Attleboro scored with just over 10 minutes to play and senior Brody Rosenberg made a pair of key defensive plays as the Rocketeers topped Taunton. Carson Dameron sprayed the ball wide to the right wing and Griffin Rhodes tracked down the loose ball. Rhodes’ looping cross was met at the near post by Givany Carney, who beat the keeper to the ball and his header went inside the near post in the 69th minute. Rosenberg had a goal line stop in the second half and then came up with a big clearance on a loose ball inside the six yard box in the final minute after Taunton’s Riley Rebello hit the underside of the crossbar with a shot from 25 yards out.










Girls Soccer
Sharon, 0 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalAttleboro was able to pull out a win in the rain, holding off Sharon with a one-goal advantage and then adding a second goal in the final minute to secure the points. Jamie Davies put Attleboro in front in the 24th minute and then assisted on the second goal in the 79th. Allison Rebelo hit a one-touch shot into the top corner to make it 2-0. Alexis Campbell played well in goal to keep the clean sheet for Attleboro. Sharon coach Cat Sullivan praised defender Jordanna Morris and midfielders Sofia Goclowski and Amber Marcus-Blank for their performances in the tough conditions.

Canton, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final Tarynn Smith continued to be in torrid form in front of goal, scoring what turned out to be the game-winner against Canton. It was the fifth straight win for the Hornets, who are in a three-way tie atop the Kelley-Rex. Alexi O’Keefe added the second goal for Mansfield.

Foxboro, 10 @ Milford, 0 – FinalThree different Warriors scored hat tricks, as Foxboro continued its unbeaten run, extending it to nine games. Kailee McCabe scored three times and had three assists, Erin Foley had three goals and two assists, and Jordan Carman added one assist to her three goals. Neve Taylor also found the back of the net for Foxboro. Brooke Barreira and Lauren Miley both had assists in the win. Alexis Sougaris earned the clean sheet with three saves.

Stoughton, 1 @ Franklin, 4 – FinalThe rain didn’t slow down sophomore striker Anya Zub, who recorded a hat trick to power Franklin to a win that moves them into a tie at the top of the Kelley-Rex. Kelly O’Connor added a goal and an assist and Stella Regan had a pair of helpers for the Panthers. Haylie Aniki had a good second half in goal for the hosts and Chloe Barca stood out in the Franklin midfield. Sivannah Marcy scored Stoughton’s lone goal, running onto a ball over the top by Morgan Cook. Katrina Varnum had a good game in net for Stoughton, helping keep Franklin to four, and Sabrina Rodrigues had a strong game at the back.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ King Philip, 1 – FinalLauren Sellmayer and Camryn O’Connor scored second half goals to lift OA to a come-from-behind road win at Kelley-Rex leader KP, handing the Warriors their first league loss of the season. After a scoreless first half, Rihanna Mason scored for the hosts to put them in front, but OA tallied twice in the final 20 minutes to secure the victory and stay in a first-place tie with Foxboro in the Davenport division. Sellmayer headed in a corner kick from Katie Gibson in the 73rd to bring the Tigers level. A minute later, O’Connor won a foot race on a breakaway and tucked away the game-winner. Allison Evin, Emily Meyers and Mary Cross all had great games for the visitors.

North Attleboro, 6 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalSix different players scored for North Attleboro to pick up the win and move the Rocketeers back to .500 in the league. It took almost the entire first half for the opening goal. Following a timeout inside the final minute, Haley Sinacola scored with a 35-yard free kick, her fourth of the season, to put the hosts in front. Steph McKenna doubled the lead in the second half off an Autumn Hewitt assist. Charlotte Moynihan hit an Emma Pratt pass first-time for the third goal and then Jessica Hennessey followed with her first varsity goal (on an assist from Brooke Sullivan). Hennessey added an assist, setting up Pratt for North’s fifth, and Lily Adams rounded out the scoring off a pass from Casey Butanowicz. North coach Bill Wallace added that Morgan Eaton, Sophia Capriotti and Lauren Peckham played well in the win.

Taunton, 1 @ Sharon, 3 – FinalTaunton stayed alive with a win in the third set and pushed the Eagles in the fourth set but Sharon was able to close it out for a 3-1 (23-25, 15-25, 25-23, 20-25). For Taunton, Jessica Foley had a strong game at the service line with nine aces. The Tigers also had a balanced attack led by Aislinn Campbell (six kills), Angie Lynch (five kills), Mikayla Cleary (five kills), Hayley Krockta (three kills), and Kylie Burgo (three kills).

Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalAttleboro scored a pair of second half goals to level the match but King Philip sophomore Kelly Holmes scored on a beautiful aerial shot with just over two minutes to play to give the Warriors the win. Sophomore Mara Boldy opened the scoring in the first quarter on an assist from Sydney O’Shea and then Holmes scored to make it 2-0. Emma Briggs cut the deficit in half with a third quarter goal and Sarah McMahon tied it with under six to play before Holmes deposited her shot over everyone and into the far corner off of a penalty corner. Senior defenders Haley Izydorczak and Molly Piller both played outstanding in the win.

Canton, 7 @ Sharon, 0 – Final

Foxboro, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – FinalAfter trading goals in the first half, Oliver Ames’ Erin Cottam scored twice in the second half to give the Tigers a key division win over Foxboro. Junior Tyla Delamere opened the scoring with her first career goal midway through the first quarter but Jenny Gallagher responded with just over a minute left in the period to make it 1-1. Georgia Costello put the hosts ahead just over a minute into the second but Gallagher answered again just over a minute later to send the teams into the halftime break knotted at 2-2. Cottam got her first goal of the game late in the third off a feed from Lily Gaskill. Cottam tacked on a second one with 9:48 to play to secure the win. Both Gaskill and Ava Costello played well in the midfield while Olivia Stevens had a strong game on defense for the Tigers.

Franklin, 8 @ Milford, 0 – FinalFranklin scored twice in each the first and second quarters and put it out of reach with three more in the third in a win on the road at Milford. Kaitlyn Carney scored four goals and had one assist to pace the offense, getting assists from Sophia Cuneo, Ella Aldred, and Ella Mahoney while Kendall Jones scored twice in the win (one assisted by Haley Wernig). Sydney Rogan tacked on a pair of second quarter goals for the Panthers.

Mansfield, 2 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalTaunton built a two-goal lead in the second half but Mansfield struck for a pair of second half goals, including the gaming one with less than a minute to go to grab a point on the road. Jillian Edmond (from Kaysie DeMoura) broke the deadlock with a goal with just over four minutes to play in the third. DeMoura recorded her second assist by finding Caelen O’Leary early in the fourth quarter. Mansfield scored with 20 seconds left to tie the game. Em Gannon had a big game in net with 16 saves while Jasmine Lucier and Kylie Thorpe both played well.

Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip’s offense was hitting on all cylinders as the Warriors rolled to a 3-0 sweep (25-7, 25-17, 25-9) win at home over the visiting Bombardiers of Attleboro. Middles Sami Shore (11 kills, three blocks) and Emily Sawyer (10 kills) both had strong showings while Ahunna James (seven kills, five digs) played a strong all-around game. Samantha Asprelli added 12 digs and Stella Bailey recorded 18 service points and 26 assists.

Foxboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames took care of business on Friday evening, knocking off division foe Foxboro in straight sets (25-7, 25-13, 25-18). Junior Courtney Raymond played well in the win with eight kills and two blocks, senior Shannon Willard added 14 assists, senior Hadley Rhodes dished out 12 assists and added four kills, and sophomore Sarah Hilliard recorded 10 kills and five aces.

Canton, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalCanton bounced back from a one-set deficit to take three straight on the road for a 3-1 victory (18-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-15). Sydney Gallery had one of the best performances of her career with 13 kills, seven digs, and three aces to lead the way. Anna Verille anchored the defense for the visitors with 25 digs and added an ace and a kill while Talya DeGraw turned in a strong all-around performance with nine kills, 14 digs, and an ace.

Franklin, 3 @ Milford, 1 – FinalMilford fought hard to avoid the sweep with a win in the third set but Franklin proved to be too much as the Panthers secured a 3-1 (25-16, 25-22, 20-25, 25-16) win over the Hawks. Junior Meghan Linkkila anchored the defense with 15 digs and had a strong showing at the service line with seven aces while sophomore Taylor Lacerda was nearly unstoppable at the net with 19 kills to go along with 11 digs and a pair of aces.

Mansfield, 3 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalAfter dropping the first set, Mansfield rallied to take three straight, including a vital third set, to knock off Taunton, 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-12). Christina Lydon dished out 17 assists in the win with Nicole Santos (six kills), Elyssa Buchanan (six kills), and Julia Kelly (five kills) pacing the offense.

Carter Shelton and Leo Lombardo led the way after both shooting a 37, Brendan Raymond added a 39, and Dane Holske, Parker Sackett, and Jackson Sweeney all came in at 42 for the Bombardiers. Tyson Laviano led the visitors with a medalist round of 36 while Jake Gaskin added a 38.

After a solid showing in his varsity debut, junior Drew Urban had a hole-in-one on the seventh hole to highlight the win. North threatened with a pair of dangerous crosses from Kaden Burns in the second half but couldn’t find the other end of the service. Canton had a pair of dangerous second half corners but couldn’t convert. North head coach Geoff Burgess praised the defensive effort of Brody Rosenberg and Jaad Ismail.

Foxboro, 5 @ Sharon, 2 – FinalFoxboro built a 2-1 lead by halftime and then pumped in three more in the second half to take two points on the road at Gavin Pond against Sharon. Seniors Matt Angelini and Jacob Tessier each scored a pair of goals to pace the attack for the visitors while sophomore defender Ian Foley tacked on another goal in the win.

Taunton, 0 @ Attleboro, 4 – FinalJamie Davies had a brace and an assist, powering Attleboro to its fourth win of the season. Davies set up Bethany Alves for the opening goal of the game after 14 minutes and then doubled the lead, taking a pass from Ayla Santoro, to make it 2-0 midway through the half. Davies added her second and the team’s third shortly after the break, assisted by Avery Vieira. Emily Khang sealed the win with a goal from an Angelic Duran assist.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Canton, 2 – FinalCanton extended its unbeaten run to four games, securing a point against North Attleboro on senior night. North Attleboro took the lead on a 40-yard blast on a free kick from Haley Sinacola and then salvaged a point with a goal with less than 10 minutes to go. Brayden Rice connected on a volley from just outside the box in the 72nd minute to bring the visitors level. Gabriella Herivaux had a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs, while Emily McCabe added the second. Freshman Paige Sullivan continued her impressive rookie campaign and classmate Emma Cahill had a nice pass leading to McCabe’s goal. North Attleboro head coach Bill Wallace praised the play of Casey Butanowicz, Charlotte Moynihan, Summer Doherty, and Brook Sullivan in front of Maddie Ferrin.

McCabe scored in the first half off an assist by Grace Riley. In a hard-fought second half, the Warriors were finally able to double the lead when Lauren Miley played a perfect through ball that split the Sharon defenders. McCabe ran onto it and calmly slid the ball past Sharon’s freshman keeper Autumn Simon, who had an impressive game for the Eagles. Amber Marcus-Blank and Jordanna Morris also played well in the Sharon defense, trying to keep track of attackers McCabe and Jordan Carman. Sofia Goclowski had another solid game in the Sharon midfield, battling with Foxboro midfielder Erin Foley, but an injury to forward Wendy Wooden limited the chances that the Eagles were able to create.

Mansfield, 1 @ Franklin, 0 – FinalAbby Jean scored midway through the first half off an assist from Katie Miller to give Mansfield its fourth straight win against Franklin. The Hornets also beat the Panthers three times last fall, and all four games finished 1-0. Mansfield’s back line of Kara Santos, Gabby Smith, Kayla Doherty, and Anna Darlington played great to limit the Panthers, forcing goalie Olivia Salisbury to make only one save to get the clean sheet. Franklin struggled to get into its typical attacking system, but Norah Anderson and Jackie O’Neil both played well in defense and midfielders Stella Regan, Chloe Barca, and Bridget Leo played well in the second half to try and get back into the match.

Stoughton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 9 – FinalCamryn O’Connor proved too hard to stop, as her four goals powered the Tigers to a comfortable win. OA scored all nine goals before halftime. Lucinda Li Cotter, Katie Gibson, Mary Cross, Emma Gavin, and Taylor deVos also found the back of the net, as the Tigers put together and impressive opening 40 minutes to remain in first place in the Davenport. Sofia Issa made her first start for the Black Knights and played well alongside classmate Sivannah Marcy. Mia Rivera played well in the Stoughton goal, despite the score, and freshman Lauren Mitchell had another solid performance.

North Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip earned another sweep, this time knocking off North Attleboro in a non-league clash, 3-0 (25-13, 25-3, 25-18). Junior middle Sami Shore had a strong all-around showing (six kills), but really shined at the service line with 21 service points and five aces. Emily Sawyer put down 8 kills and Ahunna James added seven kills in the win. Sofia Riedel had 13 service points, including two aces, and Stella Bailey recorded four aces.

King Philip, 150 @ Attleboro, 152 – FinalKing Philip’s depth was on display as all four of the Warriors’ scorers came in under 40 to squeak out a victory over an upset-minded Attleboro squad. Pat Reardon had birdies on both 10 and 12, finishing with a team-low round of 36. Mike Matheson, Jared Curran, and Tim Hartwell all shot 38 to round out the scoring. Attleboro’s Brendan Raymond continued his stellar play with four birdies — on 10, 13, 14, and 17 — to finish with a match medalist round of 34. Dane Holske and Leo Lombardo each shot 39 and Carter Shelton came in with a 40.

Foxboro, 173 @ Franklin, 165 – FinalSophomore Tyler O’Brien shared match medalist honors, shooting a team-low round of 39 to pace the Panthers to a win over Foxboro. Sophomore CJ Steel added a 41 in the win, freshman Ben Paterson came in with a 42, and sophomore Brendan Collins shot a 43 in the win. Foxboro’s Jack Rounds was the other co-medalist with a round of 39.
