Canton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – FinalOliver Ames hit the post and hit the crossbar but couldn’t find the back of the net and the Tigers and Bulldogs of Canton took a point each. Mathias Taylor, Michael Haikal, Hector Bucio and Diego Rivera had great games for the Tigers while Sasha Priajinski earned his eighth shutout of the season in net.

Foxboro, 4 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final Foxboro scored twice in each half to pick up two points on the road over Stoughton. The Warriors scored in quick succession in the first half as AJ Carvalho opened the scoring in the 26th minute and then an own goal (credited to John Hollis) doubled the advantage just two minutes later. In the second half, Cam Barreira set up Alex Penders in the 60th minute for the 3-0 lead and then Barreira capped the scoring with a goal of his own off a feed from Jacob Tessier. Derek Axon notched the shutout in net for Foxboro.

Taunton, 1 @ King Philip, 1 – FinalKing Philip and Taunton traded goals, one coming in each half, and the Warriors and Tigers split the two points. Andrew Seropian gave the hosts the lead in the 12th minute, finishing off a pass from Stephen Griffin to make it 1-0. Taunton’s Riley Rebello equalized in the 49th minute, finishing a free kick to the back post to bring the Tigers level.

Milford, 2 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalMilford used a pair of first half goals to earn two points on the road, splitting the season series with Mansfield. Artur Tome opened the scoring with an assist to Bill Silva. Just minutes later, Eduardo Santana doubled the lead with the assist going to Tome.

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalThe Rocketeers registered a pair of goals before the half hour mark and then put the game away with a third with just 10 minutes to go for a win over Sharon. Quinn Conley earned a penalty for the Rocketeers early in the match and Connor Ward buried the chance from the spot, putting the hosts ahead in the 10th minute. Junior Griffin Rodden doubled the lead in the 28th minute, taking a pass from Givany Carney and finishing. Jaad Ismail’s goal in the 70th minute secured the points for North as the senior finished a corner kick from Ward for a 3-0 lead.




Girls Soccer
Oliver Ames, 1 @ Canton, 0 – FinalJunior Mary Cross scored the lone goal of the game as Oliver Ames claimed a key two points on the road over Davenport for Canton. Cross finished off a pass from Allison Evin in the first half for the lone goal of the game. Emily Meyers earned the shutout in goal for the Tigers.

Stoughton, 0 @ Foxboro, 7 – FinalFoxboro scored four times in the second half to break the game open and keep itself in a first-place tie with OA. Kailee McCabe and Jordan Carman each recorded four points for the Warriors. McCabe scored three times and added an assist, while Carman found the back of the net once and had a hat trick of assists. Lauren Miley scored a brace and DeAnna Hardiman got one. Shayla Ford had a solid game in defense for the Black Knights and Sivannah Marcy was a good outlet up front.

King Philip, 5 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalA day after she tallied a hat trick and five points, Ella Pisani added two more goals and another assist to lift KP to another road win. The Warriors pulled even on points with Franklin for the league lead, having played one more game. Pisani, Brooke Mullins, and Dani Lomuscio all scored in the first half to put KP comfortably ahead. Morgan Norrman, Eilish McGowen, and Pisani each had assist in the opening half. After the break, Pisani completed her brace and Kylie Menendez added the fifth. Paulina Baczkowski and McGowen assisted on the second half goals.

Mansfield, 2 @ Milford, 0 – FinalTarynn Smith’s brace lifted the Hornets to a road win at Milford, getting Mansfield back on track and keeping it alive in the league title race. Olivia Salisbury made one stop to earn the clean sheet.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalEmma Pratt and Abbie Pratt each scored in the first half to put the Rocketeers in front. Autumn Simon scored early in the second half off a Sofia Goclowski assist to cut the North lead in half, but Emma Pratt added her second of the game to seal the two points. Haley Sinacola assisted on each of Emma Pratt’s goals and Caroline Ferrin had the assist on Abbie Pratt’s. North came close several times in the second half, with Steph McKenna, Autumn Hewitt, and Casey Butanowicz narrowly missing. Brayden Rice played well for the Rocketeers in midfield, while Meaghan Dowd, Summer Doherty, and Charlotte Moynihan had good games at the back. Leah Steinberg and Carmen Leonardi played well defensively for the Eagles.

Volleyball
North Attleboro, 3 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final

Canton, 3 @ Fontbonne Academy, 1 – FinalCanton overcame an error-prone opening set to settle in, using a complete team effort to rally for a 3-1 win (23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-15) on the road at Fontbonne. Talya DeGraw had an all-around good match for the Bulldogs with six kills and 27 digs, Katie Dever played well in the middle with four kills and two blocks, and Kelly MacDonald played strong in the backcourt and served well.

King Philip, 3 @ Walpole, 0 – FinalKP swept Walpole for the second time this season, winning 25-12, 25-15, 25-10 to stay unbeaten. Sami Shore led the way with 11 kills and four aces, while Ahunna James had eight kills and seven digs, and Emily Sawyer finished with seven kills and three blocks. Sofia Reidel had a strong service game with seven aces and Stella Bailey chipped in with four aces and five digs. Samantha Asprelli had another strong defensive match with eight digs.

Taunton, 3 vs. Durfee, 1 – FinalTaunton jumped out to a two-set advantage and took care of business in the fourth to win the match 3-1 (25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 25-14) after dropping a close third set. Angie Lynch had a great all-around game for the Tigers with eight kills, seven digs, four aces, and a block to lead the way. Mikayla Cleary added five kills, four aces, and four blocks while Anna Abouzeid dished out 18 assists and added three kills and a pair of aces. Dani Lofgren (14 digs and excellent serve receive) and Jess Foley (eight digs, three aces) both played well defensively for Taunton.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalAfter a scoreless first half, Attleboro pumped in a pair of goals to earn a win over rival North Attleboro. Yianni Skordas converted a feed from Luke Hagopian to put the hosts ahead in the second half. Alex Vecchioli opened his account on the season with a goal assisted by Connor Adema.

Foxboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalMansfield senior Jack Lasbury-Casey (seven saves) and Foxboro senior Derek Axon both played well in goal, each earning a shutout. It marked Lasbury-Casey’s third straight shutout to start the season while it was Axon’s first of the year. Mansfield coach Steve Sheridan praised the effort from his defense.

Stoughton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip scored a pair of first half goals and tacked on one more in the second half to break into the win column for the first time this season. Will Bowen opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, finishing off a feed from Oliver Blackburn for a 1-0 lead. Less than 10 minutes later, Matt Crago set up Stephen Griffin to make it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Blackburn then added a goal of his own in the 54th minute, taking a feed from Caleb Cassetta and finding the back of the net.

Sharon, 1 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalTaunton picked up its third straight win to start the season, marking its best start in since 2013 when the Tigers won their first four league games. The Tigers scored early as junior Riley Rebello set up Sete Deletoile in the 7th minute for the lead. Taunton doubled its advantage in the 25th minute as Conal Scully found the back of the net on an assist from Devin Poe. Sharon cut the lead in half just before halftime on a goal from Cam Birnbaum. Taunton head coach Taylor Whitters said “it was truly a team effort” while noting the strong play of Jonathan Trinh and Delano Costa-Hanlon.

Mansfield, 2 @ Foxboro, 5 – FinalKailee McCabe made it eight goals in three games and the Warriors won for the third straight time (in the process, scoring 19 goals as a team). After back-to-back hat tricks, McCabe scored twice and assisted on a third to hand Mansfield its first loss. Neve Taylor scored for the second straight game and added an assist. Jordan Carman followed up two goals against Stoughton with a goal and assist against the Hornets. Erin Foley also found the net and Grace Riley had an assist. Foxboro was able to hold on after going down a player with 10 minutes to play. The red card gave Mansfield a penalty that it converted but the Warriors held out to secure the victory and head coach Katie Stalcup said they played well as a team.

King Philip, 8 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalElla Pisani continued her strong start to the season with a four-goal game, as KP stayed perfect through three games and recorded a third straight clean sheet. Pisani took only six minutes to get her hat trick, putting KP well in front early in the game. Brooke Mullins assisted on two of the goals and Grace Lawler on one. With 10 minutes to go before the half, Paulina Baczkowski added KP’s fourth, assisted by Mikayla Thomspon, and then four minutes later Baczkowski set up Rachel DeFlaminis to make it 5-0. Midway through the second half, Dani Lomuscio got her first career goal, finishing off a pass from Baczkowski. Five minutes later, Pisani got her fourth, this time assisted by Maggie Griffin, and then Heidi Lawrence added an unassisted goal with seven minutes left to play. Stoughton coach Hermes Lima praised his team for closing the first half well and for a good start to the second half. Emma Tran played well at the back and up top for the Black Knights and Shayla Ford added strong minutes at the back. Olivia Tran continued her good start to the season for Stoughton and Sophia Lally was praised for her hustle.

Taunton, 0 @ Sharon, 7 – FinalAfter getting shutout in its opening game of the season, Sharon exploded for seven goals to earn its first win. Sofia Goclowski finished with five points, recording a hat trick and a pair of assists, to power the Eagles offensively. Taylor Standring added a hat trick of her own and Carly Pinnix scored the seventh. Olivia Soby and Autumn Simon both had a pair of assists in the win. Simon and Samantha Connors split time in goal to record the clean sheet. It was the most goals that Sharon has scored in a game since scoring 11 against Stoughton in 2016. During that stretch, the Eagles had scored six times on three occasions.




Field Hockey
Attleboro @ North Attleboro, 3:45

King Philip, 5 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalKing Philip sophomore Kelly Holmes had three points and the Warriors picked up their third win of the season with a 5-1 decision over Stoughton. Holmes scored twice, including a goal on a penalty stroke, and had an assist in the win. Junior Nikki McDonald scored her first varsity goal and added an assist and senior Lily Brown scored her first career goal in the win.

Taunton, 4 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalTaunton’s Braeley MacDonald scored a pair of goals and goalie Emily Gannon recorded her second shutout of the young season in a win on the road at Sharon. Taylor Doherty and Caelyn O’Leary also scored in the win while Ashley Amaro added two assists. Kylie Thorpe, Kaysie DeMoura, and Thalia Nogueira also played well for the Tigers.

Volleyball
Attleboro, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalAfter dropping a tight third set, North Attleboro bounced back to down rival Attleboro and win in four sets, 3-1 (25-16, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17). Katherine McHoul set the offense in motion with 23 assists, setting up Sara Carter (10 kills) and Amira Boory (nine kills) for strong showings at the net. Julianne Chen was strong defensive for North with nine digs.

King Philip, 3 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – King Philip went on the road and won in three straight, claiming their third win of the season with a 3-0 result (25-10, 25-6, 25-17). The Warriors set the tone at the service line as Junior Kiera Hagen notched five aces and a total of 21 service points, junior Sami Shore added 16 service points and four aces, and senior Samantha Asprelli added six aces. Junior Emily Sawyer had a big day at the net with 12 kills and two blocks while junior Ahunna James added seven kills.




Golf
King Philip, 150 @ Stoughton, 194 – FinalKing Philip’s Mike Matheson and Pat Reardon each shot a one-under par round at Easton Country Club to lead the Warriors to a win. Matheson and Reardon came in with a round of 34 for KP while Anthony Hern had the low-round for Stoughton at 40.

Mansfield, 155 @ Attleboro, 158 – FinalMansfield senior Cian Goulet fired a team-low round of 37 as the Hornets just edged out Attleboro on the links at Stone-E-Lea. Senior Hunter Tang added a 38 and classmate Ryan Doherty came in with a round of 39. Sophomore Cody Nieratko rounded out the scoring for the Hornets with a 40.

Foxboro, 193 @ North Attleboro, 198 – Final (5 cards)The Warriors and the Rocketeers were knotted at 153 apiece through four cards but Jack Watts’ round of 40 won the five-card tiebreaker to give Foxboro the win. Jack Rounds had the low-round for the visitors at 37 while Louie Cavangelo fired a 38, and both Reese Curreri and Matt Fossella came in at 39. North Attleboro’s Tyson Laviano was the match medalist with a match-low round of 34 while Jake Gaskin added a 37 for the Big Red.

Taunton, 194 @ Franklin, 166 – FinalFranklin defense its home course and won its second match in as many days with a win over on Wednesday over visiting Taunton. Three Panthers shared medalist honors as CJ Steel, Ben Paterson, and Caroline Woelfel all shot a 41 in the win while Brendan Collins rounded out the scoring with a 43. Logan Letourneau paced Taunton with a round of 46.

Canton, 1 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalCanton scored two minutes into the third quarter and that was enough for the Bulldogs in a win on the road. Sophomore Jake McCabe converted a feed from junior Jacob Crugnale for the lone tally of the match. David Floyd had a solid outing in net for the Rocketeers with eight saves.

Stoughton, 1 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this gameFoxboro sandwiched a pair of third quarter goals around a tally from Stoughton to earn two points and a season sweep of the Black Knights. After a scoreless first half, Foxboro’s Max Beigel opened the scoring in the 44th minute, tucking his show low to the left into the back corner for a 1-0 advantage. Rhuan Carvalho helped bring the Black Knights level, sending a perfectly paced through ball to Joao Marotti, who was fouled in the box for a pen. Carvalho blasted a left-footed shot that Foxboro keeper Nick Penders got his fingertips to but the ball kissed off the post and in to bring Stoughton level at 1-1. The deadlock lasted less than 10 minutes as Matt Angelini raced onto a loose ball behind the defense and hit a left-footed shot on the run just inside of the far post. Stoughton keeper Nolan Gerome had a strong outing with eight saves.

Taunton, 1 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalFranklin scored a pair of first quarter goals a minute apart and held on the rest of the way to earn two points at home over visiting Taunton. Ben Moccia opened the scoring for the Panthers, finishing off a feed from Charlie Amante for a 1-0 advantage. Just a minute later, Ryan Witt set up Ethan Cain, who scored for the third straight game, for a 2-0 lead. Taunton sophomore Riley Rebello cut the deficit in half with an unassisted goal in the second quarter.

Milford, 2 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalKing Philip battled back from a 2-0 deficit, scoring right before the halftime whistle and then just seconds before the final whistle to grab a point over visiting Milford. Junior Avi Seri put the Hawks ahead in the eighth minute on an assist from Leo Coelho, who scored in the 31st minute on an assist from Arthur Tome to make it 2-0. King Philip cut the lead in half with less than a minute to go in the first half when junior Stephen Griffin converted a free kick. And then with just 12 seconds left, Conor O’Neill buried a service from Evan McCoy to bring the Warriors level at the death.

Sharon, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 8 – FinalOliver Ames exploded for six second half goals to earn a big win at home over visiting Sharon. The Tigers built a 2-0 lead at halftime on goals from Mathias Taylor (from Ben Cohen) and Anthony DaCosta (from Colin Milliken). Senior Brady deVos added a second half brace for the Tigers while Milliken, Kevin Louhis, Dillon Cupples, and Jared Goldman also scored. Senior Ryan Ventura and freshman Joey Carney added assists.

Mansfield, 2 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalCathryn Cooney scored twice in the second quarter to lift Mansfield to a win on the road. Olivia Salisbury and Kelsey Hubler combined to keep a clean sheet for the Hornets.

Foxboro, 9 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalAlyssa Vandenboom scored three times and Jordyn Collins and Erin Foley each scored twice, as Foxboro’s offense clicked into gear with a big road win. Kailee McCabe recorded five points on the day, finishing with one goal and four assists, and Katelyn Mollica added three, scoring one and assisting on two. Meghan Burke, Jordan Carman, and Collins all had one assist in the win. Stoughton coach Hermes Lima credited the leadership of seniors Mackenzie Manning, Nikki Anderson, and Rebecca DeSousa for keeping the Black Knights going. He said the team had several good attacks for forward Shayla Ford but just couldn’t find the finish.

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – FinalClare Bowen’s hat trick keeps the Panthers rolling along, having won all six of their games so far this season and extending their lead to six points in division standings (second-place KP plays on Thursday). Jamie Tanner and Riley Fitzpatrick also scored for Franklin. Izzy Arnold had a pair of assists, while Norah Anderson, Erin Quaile, and Tanner each had one helper apiece.

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalSharon’s goal came on a first half penalty kick by Sofia Goclowski that put the Eagles ahead 1-0 but the Tigers scored four straight to get the win on the road. Katie Gibson (assist), Camryn O’Connor (two assists), Emma Pereira, and Carly Gibson scored for OA. Lucinda Cotter notched an assist for the Tigers.

Golf
Canton, 147 @ North Attleboro, 156 – FinalAnother day, another new golfer steps up to lead the Bulldogs as Conor Hunter fired a match-medalist even par round of 35 as Canton notched a win on the road at Heather Hill Country Club over North Attleboro. Will Gefteas and Owen Donovan each chipped in with a 37 while Aiden French carded a 38 for Canton. Sophomore Jake Gaskin led the Rocketeers with a team-low round of 37, Sam Gallagher added a 38, Jordan Paradis shot a 40, and Tyler DeMattio finished with a 41.

Taunton, 194 @ Franklin, 149 – FinalFranklin earned its eighth straight win to start the season behind an impressive two-under par round of 33 from senior Jack Paterson. Sean Connelly added a 38 in the win while both Nolan Norton and Pat Dolan carded rounds of 39. Spencer Andrews was Taunton’s top performer, coming in with a team-low round of 44.

King Philip, 158 @ Milford, 173 – Final – King Philip went on the road and earned a win over Milford at the Hopedale Country Club. Jared Curran was the match medalist, shooting a team-low round of 36 to pace the Warriors. Mike Matheson added a 37 and Gavin Croke chipped in with a 42 for KP.

Milford, 4 @ Attleboro, 1 – FinalAfter trading goals, Milford scored three straight unanswered to pick up a win on the road. The Hawks took the lead when Pedro Araujo converted a penalty kick but Attleboro freshman Esvin Morales tied things up moments later. Lucas Da Silva set up Joao Pedro Da Silva to put the visitors back ahead, and Araujo volleyed in a header from Lucas Da Silva before halftime to make it 3-1. Milford’s fourth goal came off a cross from Chris Tocci on an own goal. With the win, and other results around the league, Milford clinches at least a share of the Davenport division title for the second straight season.

Foxboro, 1 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalKing Philip built a two-goal lead and survived a pair of second half penalty kicks from Foxboro to earn the win. The hosts took the lead in the 41st minute when Wes Orzell finished off a feed from Ajae Olsen. KP doubled its lead in the 67th minute on a goal from Cam Lawrence, assisted by Stephen Griffin. KP keeper Grant Orzell saved a penalty kick to keep the two-goal lead. Foxboro’s Dylan Barreira scored on a penalty kick four minutes later.

The Rocketeers took the lead just a minute into the second half on a penalty kick but Mansfield’s Dan Rowe netted his first career goal just five minutes later to bring the hosts level. Dylan Buchanan flicked on a cross from Cam Eddy and Rowe found the back of the net. Evan Eames, Michael Caridi, Ethan Scholes, and Eddy all played well defensively in front of keeper Anthony Salisbury.

Franklin, 2 vs. Walpole, 6 – FinalFranklin took the lead twice in the first half but Walpole responded each time, and went on to score four unanswered goals in the second half to sweep the regular season series with the Panthers. Amanda Lewandowski opened the scoring just over a minute into the game on a feed from Kaitlyn Carney. After Walpole tied it up in the 18th minute, Franklin jumped back ahead when Olivia Rondeau scored on a feed from Kate O’Rourke in the 21st minute. Walpole scored a minute later to make it 2-2 at half. Neilee Hess made four saves for Franklin.

Canton, 3 @ Milton, 1 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, Canton went on to win two straight to clinch the win, 3-1 (28-26, 15-25, 25-23) Taylor Harris anchored the Bulldogs with 19 kills and 16 digs while Jackie Morrissey added 32 assists, 15 digs, and two aces. Liz Bickett (16 digs) and Shannon Malloy were strong in the middle combining for 12 kills and six blocks.

Mansfield, 1 vs. Bishop Feehan, 3 – FinalMansfield forced a fourth set against Bishop Feehan but eventually fell, 3-1 (23-25, 21-25, 25-19, 18-25) in an exclusion match for the Hornets. Feehan was six points away from a sweep, leading 19-15 before Julia Busier (19 service points) led the Hornets to 10 straight points to win the set and force a fourth game. Busier also had seven digs while Julia Kelly chipped in with eight kills and eight digs.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 0 – FinalOliver Ames picked up its second win over the Trojans this season, walking away with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-18) sweep on the road. Allie Kemp dished out 38 assists in the win with seniors Jordyn Vella (14 kills) and Caroline Flynn (13 kills) leading the charge at the net. Sophomore Hadley Rhodes had another strong showing with eight kills and five aces for OA.

King Philip, 4 @ Sharon, 0 – Final King Philip scored twice in the final five minutes of the first half and then twice more in the final 10 minutes of the game to earn a win on the road over Sharon. Wes Orzell scored the game-winner, putting KP ahead 1-0 with an unassisted strike in the 39th minute. Three minutes later, Orzell set up senior Brian McCarthy to make it 2-0 just before half. In the 71st, Cam Lawrence deposited a free kick (earned by Evan McEvoy) into the net for a 3-0 advantage. Stephen Griffin added a fourth (assisted by McEvoy) in the final minute. Aidan Lindmark and Grant Orzell combined for the shutout in net for KP.

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – FinalLocked in a one-goal game, Canton freshman Ellie Bohane scored her first two varsity goals inside the final five minutes to secure the win for the Bulldogs. Meg Aldrich put Canton up 1-0 off a corner with 10 minutes left in the first half but the Bulldogs couldn’t solve Attleboro goalie Ava Haggerty (22 saves) until Bohane’s tally with four minutes to go.

Mansfield, 1 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery from this gameFoxboro sophomore Kate Collins scored with five seconds left in the game to salvage a point for the Warriors in their season opener against Mansfield. Collins scored off a corner with Molly McElhinney and Ella Waryas factoring in before Collins got the final touch. Stori Rounds put Mansfield up with just under five minutes to play in the first half while Kayla Hunter made six saves for the Hornets.

Franklin, 13 @ Milford, 0 – FinalAmanda Lewandowski and Leila Frankina each scored twice in the first half as Franklin rolled to a win to start the season. Lewandowski finished with three points, including an assist on Elizabeth Clark’s first varsity goal. Neilee Hess earned the shutout for Franklin. Paige Reisman had 20 saves in net for the Hawks.

Senior Taylor Harris led the offense with 15 kills while adding 12 digs and three aces in the win. Angie Elias also had a strong day with seven digs, six kills, and a pair of aces, Liz Bickett added four kills and 11 digs and Nikki Desjardins had a solid defensive showing. Attleboro junior Ana Leonardo dished out 11 assists and sophomore Delia Barthel had three kills and two blocks.

Mansfield, 3 @ Foxboro, 1 – FinalMansfield started the 2019 campaign with a 3-1 (25-11, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21) win on the road over Foxboro. Sam Sternburg paced the Hornets’ defense with 20 digs and added 12 service points while Olivia McGrath had 11 kills and Emily Dardinski added seven kills. Foxboro had a strong defensive game to keep the match close, with Pam Nelson (10 digs), Grace Fortune (nine digs), Sara Addeche (nine digs) and Kelsey Treweek (six digs) leading the way.

Franklin, 1 @ Milford, 3 – FinalMilford bounced back from dropping the first set to secure a 3-1 (24-26, 26-24, 25-20, 25-21) win at home against Franklin. Julia Riordan paced the Hawks offense, dishing out 28 assists. Lauren Corsini had a strong game in the middle with 11 kills and six blocks, Alyssa Williamson added six kills, and Sarah Brogioli anchored the defense with 15 digs.

Stoughton, 194 @ North Attleboro, 156 – FinalNorth Attleboro’s Jillian Barend shot a one-under round of 34 at the middle course at Heather Hill to pace the Rocketeers to a win. Jake Gaskin added a round of 39, Aidan Weir carded a 40, and Brett Dusel and Sam Gallagher each finished at 43. Max Huminik led Stoughton with a round of 46.

Sophomore Anthony DaCosta gave the Tigers the lead in the 14th minute, hitting a half volley at the top of the box. DaCosta’s shot deflated off an Attleboro defender, catching the keeper going the wrong way. In the second half, sophomore Colin Milliken made it 2-0 in the 58th minute. After a long ball forced the keeper way off his line, Milliken collected the loose ball and lofted a shot from 40 yards out into the open net.

Canton, 2 @ Stoughton, 0 – FinalCanton took an early lead and added a late insurance goal to pick up two points against Stoughton. Paul Corcoran and Griffin Roach each scored once for the Bulldogs. Stoughton’s Fabio Ponce de Leon hit the crossbar just before half as the Knights nearly tied it before the break. Nolan Gerome had 23 saves in net for the Knights.

Milford, 2 @ Foxboro, 2 – FinalMilford took a late 1-0 lead in the first half, Foxboro stormed back in the second half to take a 2-1 lead but the Hawks equalized just minutes later to earn a draw on the road. Jordan Borges put Milford up in the 39th, heading in a free kick from Tiago Carvalho. Nic Beigel tied it 1-1 in the 52nd minute on an assist from Shane VandenBoom. VandenBoom then set up Dylan Barreira in the 64th minute for the 2-1 advantage. Milford leveled the match six minutes later when Anthony Salvador found the back of the net on an assist from Lucas Caetano. Borges and Leo Coelho both had strong games for the Hawks.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 0 – FinalFranklin goalie Jack Rudolph thwarted a dozen scoring chances and the Panthers’ team defense helped keep the Hornets off the scoreboard in a scoreless draw. Rudolph had 12 saves while Mansfield keeper Anthony Salisbury also had a shutout.

King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 4 – FinalTaunton raced out to a 4-0 lead in the first half and then had to hold off a furious rally from King Philip in the second half to get the win. Mateusz Hagemajer had a natural hat trick, scoring the first three goals of the game, opening the scoring in the 9th minute off an assist from Evan Melo. Hagemajer made it 2-0 off an assist from Brett Beaulieu in the 16th minute and 3-0 in the 24th minute. Alec Nunes made it 4-0 in the 31st minute. King Philip scored three times in a 20-minute span in the second half. Jimmy Dumont (40’), Stephen Griffin (55′), and Zac White (60′) each scored for KP.

Lexi Sinacola and Kayla Pasquel also scored for North, while Emma Noreck and Regan Fein split time in goal to keep a clean sheet. Hannah Davis, Lauren Pezzi and Tess Collins also played well for the Rocketeers.

A day after beating Oliver Ames, the Hornets earned a four-stroke victory over the Panthers.
