Baseball

Canton, 0 @ Stoughton, 5 – Final – Sam Werman pitched a complete game, allowing just three hits and striking out four.

Foxboro, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – Will Ginsberg pitched 6.1 innings for Sharon, giving up just two runs. Jake Fishman had two hits, including the game-winning RBI.

Taunton, 7 @ King Philip, 2 – Final – Junior Jeff Powlakowski picked up his first varsity win, pitching 5 innings and striking out five. Senior Ben Clark was 3-3 with two runs, two stolen bases and an RBI. Senior Matt Nunes had two hits, four stolen bases and a run scored.

Milford, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 6 – Final – Brendan Welch pitched six innings, striking out seven.

Softball

Stoughton, 10 @ Canton, 5 – Final

Sharon, 2 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final – Kelsey Whiting pitched a complete game, striking out 11 on just two hits. Junior CF Allie Rubinowitz was 2-3 with an RBI and junior RF Brittany Sullivan was 2-3 with an RBI.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Milford, 7 – Final – Shannon Smith tossed another no-hitter, striking out 14, including her 1000th career strikeout in the fourth inning. Sam Bonvino was 3-4 with a homerun and 2 RBIs and Taylor LeBrun was 3-4 with a homerun and 3 RBIs.

Boys Lacrosse

Canton, 14 @ Bishop Connolly, 0 – Final

Foxboro, 7 @ Sharon, 5 – Final

Milford, 7 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final

Girls Lacrosse

Sharon, 2 @ Foxboro, 17 – Final – Ellen Decker scored a team four goals and eight other Warriors scored goals.

Oliver Ames, 15 @ Milford, 8 – Final – Goalie Sydney Corsini had 13 saves and Megan Bosse had three goals and three assists for the Tigers.

King Philip, 0 @ Sharon, 9 – Final – Will Ginsberg pitched 6 and 1/3 innings of shutout baseball.

Mansfield, 4 @ Milford, 5 – Final (8 Innings)

North Attleboro, 6 @ Oliver Ames, 7 – Final – Greg Cummings’ sac fly scored Alex Geba in the bottom of the 7th.

Taunton, 2 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Stoughton left runners stranded in scoring position in both the sixth and seventh innings.

Softball
Foxboro, 8 @ Attleboro, 5 – Final – Brenna Connolly throws complete game and goes 3-4 at the plate for Warriors.

Franklin, 6 @ Canton, 0 – Final – The Panthers scored three runs in the sixth and added two more in the seventh.

Sharon, 1 @ King Philip, 13 – Final

Milford, 5 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Shannon Smith strikes out 18 for the Hawks, only allowing two hits. Junior shortstop Sam Bonvino was 2-4 with a double, triple and RBI and senior center fielder Rachel Levin was 2-2 with a double. Erin Glavin had a double for Mansfield.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ North Attleboro, 8 – Final – Megan Colleran tossed a complete game with 8 strike outs and allowed just three hits and Meghan Wynn had three hits including a home run. Kayle Soucie recored the lone RBI for Oliver Ames.

Stoughton, 1 @ Taunton, 12 – Final – Taunton senior captian Alicia Pavadore went 3-3 with a walk and RBI. Meg Navarro was 2-3 with 2 RBI and a triple.

Boys Lacrosse
Franklin, 7 @ Canton, 12 – Final – Pat Ward scored 6 goals for Bulldogs, who beat Franklin for first time since 2005.

King Philip, 9 @ Sharon, 10 – Final (OT)

Mansfield, 10 @ Milford, 11 – Final (OT) – Mike Titlebaum scores winner in overtime to complete comeback for Hawks.

North Attleboro, 7 @ Oliver Ames, 6 – Final – For North, Tyler Zarembovicz scored three goals, Jake Rivello scored twice, and sophomore Patrick Kimball played well in goal. For OA, senior captain Ryan Chase and freshman Matt Gilson each scored twice and Chandler McLaughlin netted one.

Girls Lacrosse
Canton, 4 @ Franklin, 17 – Final – Maeghan Schmauder scores four goals for the Panthers.

Foxboro, 12 vs. Norwood, 8 – Final – Katie Notarangelo had a team high four goals and the Foxboro defense, “had a great game…and communicated well,” according to head coach Brittany Sherry.
