Four Hockomock wrestlers won MIAA division titles on Saturday afternoon. Foxboro senior Matt Kelley won this third straight MIAA Division 3 crown, this time winning at 132. Fresh off a sectional title, Kelley needed just 38 seconds to pin Wayland’s Cameron Anzivino for the title. Twin brother Brian followed up Matt’s win with a pin of his own to win his first Division 3 championship at 138. He picked up a pin in the second round to win the title.

Foxboro finished 2nd overall in Division 3.

In Division 2, Milford’s Ryan Gray won the title at 195. Gray opened the day with a 5-3 decision over Oliver Ames sophomore Dean Pacini, pinned Whittier’s Andrew Buzzell, edged Dracut’s Andrew Desmarias and then beat top-seeded Nick Shairs of Beverly, 7-3, in the finals.

Also in D2, it was an All-Hockomock final in the 220 bracket. King Philip’s Bradley Oliverio faced off against North Attleboro’s Brad White – both sectional winners a week ago. Oliverio scored two escapes in the third period and a late takedown to secure a 10-7 win and the D2 title.

The Hockomock had a total of 15 wrestlers advance to the semifinals their respective brackets. Mansfield freshman Antonios Sevastos finished in third at 106 in Division win, edging Franklin’s Jordan Carlucci in the consolation match. Another Hornet freshman, Vinnie Holmes, made it to the final of the 170 bracket but fell 3-0 to top seeded Joe Vecchione of Chelmsford.

Speaking of freshmen, Canton’s Eddie Marinilli continued to turn heads as he battled to the finals of the 126 bracket in Division 3 before falling to top-seeded Ramazan Attasauov of Wayland. Taunton freshman Woudanly Danger took 8th place in Division 1 at 220.

North Attleboro placed 5th overall in Division 2, continuing their streak of strong results. Along with White, senior Nick Gould (152) was also a finalist. Brady Folan (106) and Zack Gould (138) had fifth place finishes while Danny Cooper (113) and Jake Direnzo (120) each placed sixth.
