Here are today’s Hockomock games.

Baseball

Canton, 0 @ Stoughton, 5 – Final – Sam Werman pitched a complete game, allowing just three hits and striking out four.

Foxboro, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – Will Ginsberg pitched 6.1 innings for Sharon, giving up just two runs. Jake Fishman had two hits, including the game-winning RBI.

Taunton, 7 @ King Philip, 2 – Final – Junior Jeff Powlakowski picked up his first varsity win, pitching 5 innings and striking out five. Senior Ben Clark was 3-3 with two runs, two stolen bases and an RBI. Senior Matt Nunes had two hits, four stolen bases and a run scored.

Milford, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 6 – Final – Brendan Welch pitched six innings, striking out seven.

Softball

Stoughton, 10 @ Canton, 5 – Final

Sharon, 2 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final – Kelsey Whiting pitched a complete game, striking out 11 on just two hits. Junior CF Allie Rubinowitz was 2-3 with an RBI and junior RF Brittany Sullivan was 2-3 with an RBI.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Milford, 7 – Final – Shannon Smith tossed another no-hitter, striking out 14, including her 1000th career strikeout in the fourth inning. Sam Bonvino was 3-4 with a homerun and 2 RBIs and Taylor LeBrun was 3-4 with a homerun and 3 RBIs.

Boys Lacrosse

Canton, 14 @ Bishop Connolly, 0 – Final

Foxboro, 7 @ Sharon, 5 – Final

Milford, 7 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final

Girls Lacrosse

Sharon, 2 @ Foxboro, 17 – Final – Ellen Decker scored a team four goals and eight other Warriors scored goals.

Oliver Ames, 15 @ Milford, 8 – Final – Goalie Sydney Corsini had 13 saves and Megan Bosse had three goals and three assists for the Tigers.

Softball
Mansfield, 8 vs. Milton, 1 – FinalErin Glavin had four RBI for Mansfield and Moriah Baker added two RBIs. Freshman Madde Letendre picked up her second win in as many days, throwing a complete game with nine strikeouts. 

Boys Lacrosse

King Philip, 10 vs. Holliston, 11 – Final (OT) 

Girls Lacrosse
Foxboro, 11 @ Norwood, 9 – FinalCC Lynch had 11 saves and Marybeth Sweeney led the Warriors with four goals. Allie Peter and Ellen Decker each netted two goals while Genne Rogan, Morgan Ames, and Maddie Morini each scored once. 

King Philip, 4 @ Medfield, 15 – Final – Senior Malorie Knowlton, junior Sarah Shiels, junior Julianne Piatelli, and senior Ashley Avery scored for KP.
