Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – FinalNorth Attleboro scored a trio of first half goals and never looked back in a big win over visiting Stoughton. Matt Mordini opened the scoring just beyond the half hour mark, putting the hosts ahead in the 31st minute off of an assist from Jeremy Folan. James Sales grabbed his first of two goals with an unassisted tally in the 39th minute and the Rocketeers deposited another tally just a minute later when Alex Pfeffer scored on a feed from Matt Conley. North added to its lead in the 48th minute when Sales finished a cross from Pfeffer. Eddy Mendoza scored his first career goal in the 74th minute, burying a free kick from 30 yards out.

Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final

Canton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – FinalFoxboro scored late in the first half to level the game and then tallied three unanswered goals in the second half to earn two points. Canton took a 1-0 lead midway through the first but sophomore Kailee McCabe found the equalizer for the Warriors with five minutes left in the first half. Lizzy Davis (from Katelyn Mollica) and Kendra Wentling each found the back of the net while McCabe bagged her second of the game with 11 minutes to go to secure the win.

Milford, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – Final

North Attleboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalNorth scored six unanswered goals to earn a big road win. Lily Cameron scored the first two goals for the Rocketeers, one assisted by Lydia Hershey and the second by Alex Moulson. Caroline Ferrin got her first career goal just before halftime to make it 3-1. After Moulson scored from the penalty spot, following a foul on Steph McKenna, Ferrin got her second career goal off a Moulson assist. Moulson got her brace before Olivia Wills rounded out the scoring off a Cameron helper. Nikki Anderson scored for Stoughton.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalOliver Ames converted a penalty kick in the first half to take the lead and found the back of the net twice in the second half to earn a win on the road at Taunton. Abby Hodges scored from the spot to put OA up by the break. Erin Holmberg orchestrated a pair of second half goals, assisting on goals from Leah Johnson and Camryn O’Connor as OA improved to 11-2-2.

Mansfield, 2 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final

King Philip, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalFranklin took the lead just past the 20-minute mark of the first half and doubled its lead early in the second half to pick up a win over visiting King Philip. With the win, the Panthers move within one point of clinching a share and two points from clinching the division crown. Amanda Lewandowski scored in the 21st minute to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. Freshman Kaitlyn Carney finished off a feed from Maeve Ledwith just under four minutes into the second half to make it 2-0. Neilee Hess made three saves in the win. King Philip goalie Makenzie Manning kept the Warriors in the game with 18 saves. Senior Charlotte Colella, junior Alli Beltramini, and sophomore Molly Piller all played well defensively for the Warriors.

Volleyball
Mansfield, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalMansfield went on the road and earned a 3-0 sweep (35-22, 25-19, 25-20) over Attleboro. Sam Sternburg had a strong showing for the Hornets with 12 service points and nine digs while Ashley Santos added 14 service points and six kills for Mansfield.

Foxboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this match.Canton defended home court in a key division battle, earning a 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-17) victory over Foxboro. Taylor Harris led the way for the Bulldogs with 16 kills and nine digs while Liz Bickett played well with seven kills and 11 digs. Both Talya DeGraw and Kiara Cerruti had strong games at the net for Canton. Despite the loss, Foxboro didn’t had a single service error. Pam Nelson (11 digs, seven service points) and Sara Addeche (two aces, five service points) led the way at the service line for Foxboro. Grace Boudreau had 12 digs, six kills, and two blocks, Shakirah Ketant added two kills and two blocks, and Kelsey Treweek finished with eight digs for the Warriors.

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – FinalNorth Attleboro had a strong showing on Tuesday afternoon, notching a 3-0 sweep (25-6, 25-8, 25-13) win over visiting Stoughton. Hayley Gaskin dished out 22 assists in the win with Kylie Melanson (eight kills, seven aces) and Eliza Dion (seven kills) pacing the attack.

Taunton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final Oliver Ames earned an important win at home, beating Taunton 3-0 (25-13, 25-8, 25-13) to stay just a game back of first place in the division. Sarah Morley impressed at the service line with 23 service points, including 10 aces, while adding 12 digs to pace the host Tigers. Allie Kemp handed out 22 assists, Ryley McNeeley added 10 kills, and Caroline Flynn finished with eight kills for OA.




Boys Cross Country
Attleboro, 32 @ Franklin, 19 – FinalFranklin had four of the first five runners to earn a win over Attleboro and finish 5-0 in league action, clinching the Kelley-Rex division title for the third straight season. Senior Tyler Brogan earned another win, clocking in at 16:45. Nicholas Calitri was second overall, finishing one second later at 16:46.

Attleboro junior Kelly Neuendorf won the race in 21:02 while Franklin senior Sarah Giuliano took second, crossing the finish line two seconds later.

The trio of Daphne Theiler, Eliana Boxerman, and Juliana Dudziak led the way for Sharon once again, finishing within three seconds of each other.

Sharon, 162 @ Canton, 145 – FinalCanton’s Mike Leonetti fired a career-best 35 to earn match medalist honors and lead the Bulldogs to a pair of wins over Sharon and King Philip. The win over Sharon gives the Bulldogs the Davenport title outright. Chris Lavoie added a 36 for Canton while Will Gefteas and Conor Hunter each fired a 37 for Canton. Sharon’s Ethan Skelly had a strong showing with a team-low 36. Eric Carter (41), Nathan Daly (42), and Will Frier (43) also scored for the Eagles.

King Philip, 161 @ Canton, 145 – FinalKing Philip senior Kayla Schuberth fired a team-low 39 but the Warriors fell to Canton. Jack Hastry added a round of 40 for the Warriors while Patrick Reardon and Jared Curran each shot 41.

Taunton, 183 @ Foxboro, 170 – FinalFoxboro notched its ninth win of the season, taking down Taunton in a crossover match at Foxboro Country Club. Dylan Quinn shot a team-low 40, carding five pars in the win. Matt Fossella and Luke Davies had three pars apiece and both finished at 43 while Noah Hicks shot a 44. Taunton’s Spencer Andrews was the match medalist with a 39.

Louhis set up classmate Anthony DaCosta in the 30th minute to put the hosts ahead. Louhis then added an insurance goal in the 70th minute, running onto a through ball from Colin Milliken and finishing in alone on the keeper to make it 2-0. Anthony Salisbury had a strong game in net, making 18 saves.

Foxboro, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – FinalFour different players scored for Foxboro as the Warriors picked up two points on the road. Jordyn Collins and Katelyn Mollica scored in the first half for Foxboro while Lizzy Davis and Kailee McCabe netted second half strikes. Jordan Carman, McCabe, and Mollica each had an assist in the win. Mackenzie Manning scored for Stoughton while Brianna Buckley had a strong game in net for the Black Knights.

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalThe Panthers made their possession count in the second half with a pair of goals to seal a league win. Erin Quaile opened the scoring midway through the second half and Sydney St. Marie added the second from the spot inside the final 10 minutes. Taunton goalie Grace Pimenta kept the Tigers in the game with numerous saves. Breanna Atwood made four saves to keep a clean sheet.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalOliver Ames scored once in each half to lead the Tigers to a win on the road. Sophomore Katie Gibson finished off a cross from classmate Lauren Sellmayer midway through the first half to put the visitors up 1-0. Erin Holmberg curled in a corner kick in the 54th minute to make it 2-0. Sophomore Emily Meyers made six saves in net to earn the win while sophomores Caroline Peper and Allison Evin had strong showings for OA.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Milford, 3 – FinalAn early penalty kick gave Milford the advantage and the Hawks made it count with a big division win. Ashleigh Starks converted from the spot to put the Hawks up 1-0, and Juliana France converted off a corner kick as Milford led 2-0 at the break. Freshman Dani Atherton added a goal in the second half while Carly Ferreira played well in net for Milford. Melissa McDermott, Abby Valdez, Caroline Ferrin, and Ari Rice all had strong games for the Rocketeers.

Stoughton, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – FinalKing Philip sophomore Christina Gifun opened the scoring with seven minutes left in the first half and the Warriors scored four more in a win over visiting Stoughton. Junior Abby Nixon scored once and added two assists, while senior Raegan Simeone, junior Kayla O’Brien, and freshman Lauren Barriero each scored once. Senior Grace May earned the shutout for KP.

Milford, 0 @ Taunton, 4 – FinalTaunton had four different players find the back of the cage in a win at home over visiting Milford. Braeley MacDonald, Meaghan DeCouta, Alana Tavares, and Kat Robinson each scored for the Tigers while Jocelyn Pagliuca and Haylee Hartung played well in the win. Paige Reisman had 15 saves for Milford.

Volleyball
Foxboro, 3 @ Attleboro, 2 – FinalFoxboro rallied from a 2-1 deficit, winning the last two sets to grab its second straight 3-2 (25-20, 22-25, 10-25, 25-12, 15-12) win. Kelsey Treweek (11 digs) had eight service points and three aces to help the visitors close out the fifth game. Maddie O’Brien added 19 assists, Pam Nelson had 13 digs, Shakirah Ketant put down seven kills, and Grace Boudreau finished with 17 service points (five aces) and 11 kills for the Warriors.

Canton, 3 @ Mansfield, 2 – FinalCanton rallied from a two-game deficit, winning three straight to steal a 3-2 (15-25, 21-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-9) decision on the road. Taylor Harris continued to dominate at the net with 18 kills along with three aces, Angie Elias added six blocks and six kills, and Jackie Morrissey dished out 31 assists to go with four kills. Mansfield’s Alina Nowakowski paced the Hornets with 10 kills, Olivia McGrath and Julia Kelly each added even kills, and Sam Sternburg grabbed 17 digs.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – FinalNorth Attleboro picked up a win in the third set to keep the match going but Franklin finished off the win in the fourth set to grab a 3-1 (25-15, 25-11, 20-25, 25-17) victory on the road. Allyson Bonnet-Eymard had a great game for the Panthers, slamming down 18 kills while sophomore Cailyn Mackintosh dished out 32 assists in the win. Grace Munley had seven kills for North while Eliza Dion added eight digs.

Stoughton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip defended home court with a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 25-2, 25-21) of the visiting Black Knights. Junior Emma Brooks continued to be a force at the service line, registering 13 aces to go along with 10 digs while Catherine Waldeck (13 kills) and Ali McNamara (four kills) paced the Warriors’ offense at the net.

Sharon, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames took care of business with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-14) win at home, the team’s eighth straight win. Junior Sarah Morley had a strong showing for the Tigers with 10 digs and four aces, Allie Kemp registered 29 assists, and Jordan Bosse played well offensively with 13 kills and four aces.

Mansfield’s Tessa Lancaster won the race in 20:38.

The Eagles’ Daphne Theiler (19:54), Juliana Dudziak, and Eliana Boxerman were the top three finishers while North’s Emily Manning clocked in at 21:05 to take fourth overall.

Quinten Faro and Jack MacKinnon each shot a 40 while Pat Dolan added a round of 43. Jack Handy led Attleboro with a 43 while Brian Houle added a 45.

Mansfield, 150 @ Milford, 188 – FinalThe Hornets had a strong day on the links with five golfers finishing under 40 in a win over Milford. Brian See shot a one-over par round of 36 to earn medalist honors, Joseph Gormely added a 37, Ryan Dow finished with a 38, and Jason See and Nate Morreale each finished with a 39.

Stoughton, 209 @ Foxboro, 163 – FinalFoxboro’s Noah Hicks sank one birdie and had four pars on the day, finishing at 39 to earn match medalist honors and pace the Warriors to a win at home. Matt Lathrop and Jack Rounds each had four pars and finished at 41 while Matt Fossella (four pars) finished at 42. Patrick Smith led Stoughton with a 46.

Foxboro, 1 @ Franklin, 2 – FinalFranklin senior Tim Duval set up the Panthers’ first goal and then scored the goal that proved to be the game-winner in a rain-shortened game against Foxboro. Duval set up Donny Tappin inside the opening two minutes to give the hosts an early advantage. Foxboro leveled the game in the 21st minute when Joe Cusack connected with Dylan Barreira. Franklin went ahead again in the 43rd minute when Duval brought down a service from Sam Stowell and buried from inside the area. The game was called for lightning in the 47th minute despite multiple efforts to restart.

Taunton, 0 @ Canton, 5 – Final

Foxboro, 1 @ Franklin 1 – FinalFoxboro took the lead midway through the first half but Franklin struck early in the second half to earn a draw at home in what both coaches said was a hard fought game from both sides. Warriors freshman Kailee McCabe scored an unassisted goal to put Foxboro ahead. But just 90 seconds into the second half, Hailey Toolin leveled the match on an assist from junior Sabrina Addi. Franklin junior Breanna Atwood made nine saves.

Canton, 44 @ Sharon, 18 – FinalSharon’s Alex Starovoytov won his third straight dual meet to help the Eagles improve to 3-0 on the season. The Eagles finished with eight of the top 10 runners with Jared Osofsky taking second, Jacob Dubin finishing fourth, and Kanishka Sethi rounding out the top five. Canton’s Kyle Downing was the top finisher for the Bulldogs, taking third overall.

Franklin’s Victoria Quinn scored with under 10 minutes to play to give the Panthers a win on the road at North Attleboro. Quinn got her stick on a shot from Cassi Ronan to put the Panthers up 1-0 with eight minutes left. Christina Luccini made a save on a penalty stroke early in the second half to keep the game tied.

Stoughton, 0 @ King Philip, 6 – FinalFour different Warriors had at least two points as King Philip recorded a big win over Stoughton. Alli Meehan had two goals and an assist while Claire Lawlor, Dana Truini, and Nicole Connor each scored once and had one helper. Meghan MacDonald also scored once while Kate Lindmark added an assist. KP co-head coach Kim Meehan added that Christina Gifun, Emma Izydorczak, and Sammy Robinson played well defensively for the Warriors.

Attleboro, 1 @ Foxboro, 3 – FinalAttleboro won the third set to prevent the sweep but Foxboro came back and won the fourth set to clinch the win (25-17, 25-18, 15-25, 25-16). For Attleboro, Ana Leonardo had 16 assists, a dig, a kill, and a block while Chelsea Calcagni paced the Bombardiers’ offense with nine kills.

Mansfield, 0 @ Canton, 3 – FinalCanton edged out Mansfield by two points in the first set and went on to complete the sweep to beat Mansfield at home (25-23, 25-10, 25-28). Taylor Harris paced the Bulldogs’ offense with 11 kills, 11 digs, a pair of aces, and a block. Bailey Shea had a strong game at the net as well, registering two kills and a block. Nicole Brown added five kills, five aces, and 16 assists for Canton. For Mansfield, Greenly Kelly had nine kills ad four blocks, Sam Sternberg added 14 digs, and Abby Sullivan finished with nine service points.

Stoughton, 0 @ Canton, 2 – FinalCanton scored once and each half, rolling to a win over visiting Stoughton. Griffin Roach put the Dogs up 1-0 midway through the first half, finishing off a throw-in from Paul Corcoran. Early in the second half, Simon Cruz doubled the hosts’ lead, burying a corner kick. Stoughton’s Ryan Reis had a pair of chances late for the visitors, with a header and a volley, but Canton goalie Alejandro Correal made the save both times. Stoughton goalie Carter Gerome finished with 17 saves.

Foxboro, 0 @ Milford, 4 – FinalWalisson de Oliveira scored a hat trick to pace the Hawks to a big win over visiting Foxboro. Sophomore Leo Coelho opened the scoring in the 10th minute for the Hawks, de Oliveira doubled the lead in the 25th minute, and then tallied twice in the second half. Coelho scored on a through ball from Jordan Borges, who also set de Oliveira up to make it 2-0. In the second half, de Oliveira scored directly off a free kick, finding the top corner, and then again off a counter. Josh Orellana made four saves for the shutout in his season debut while Zach Browne and Joao Boaventura played well defensively for the Hawks.

Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – FinalMansfield senior Luke Savoie continued his hot start to the season, scoring a pair of goals in the Hornets’ win over Franklin. After a throw from Cam Eddy, freshman Dylan Buchanan found Savoie to put the Hornets up 1-0 in the 22nd minute. And just before halftime, Graham Wells played Savoie in behind the defense and the senior finished one-on-one with the keeper. Anthony Salisbury (five saves) and Cam Bovey (five saves) combined for the shutout for Mansfield.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 0 – FinalKing Philip carried the play and threatened to scored but settled for a scoreless draw with Taunton. Brian McCarthy, Andrew Thompson, and Wes Orzell had strong games defensively while goalie Nick Beltramini came up big on a handful of occasions for the Warriors.

Emma Noreck and Regan Fein split time in net to keep the clean sheet.

King Philip, 8 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalAvery Snead and Chloe Layne each scored hat tricks, as KP picked up a big road win to stay atop the Kelley-Rex division. Snead opened the scoring off a Layne assist 20 minutes into the game and then Layne doubled the lead off a Faye Veilleux assist five minutes later. Megan Flanagan scored of an Alex Wapenski assist in the 37th to cut the lead in half (the first goal KP has allowed this season), but the Warriors scored five times after the break. Abby Baker scored off an Ally Stanton assist a minute into the second half, Snead scored from Layne four minutes later, and Layne scored from Snead in the 47th minute. Kiana Fernandes got one back with a goal from Paige Tolan, but then Snead scored unassisted for KP, Layne scored from Makayla Griffin, and Jenny Montville tacked on an unassisted goal in the 76th minute. Grace Pimenta made four saves and Izzy Anslow made nine for the Tigers.

Sophomore Hannah Stryke gave the Tigers the lead with 11:26 left in the first half, finishing off a feed from Cassie Gennis. Gennis’ shot was tipped by Georgia Costello five minutes later to make it 2-0 heading into half. In the second half, Meghan Rockey capitalized on a rebound off the pads on a penalty corner in the second half to secure the win. Kara Ostrander in goal had 5 saves to secure her first shutout of the season. Attleboro’s Shaelyn Harrison had eight saves in net for the Bombardiers.

Nicole Connor (from Kate Lindmark) and Claire Lawlor (from Alli Meehan) put the hosts ahead 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Connor made it 3-0 on an assist from Meehan, and Meehan capped the scoring (assisted by Lindmark).

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalOliver Ames went on the road and recorded a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-16, 25-13). OA freshman Hailey Bourne stepped up and had a great serving game for the Tigers. Senior Sadie Homer added 16 digs, Allie Kemp finished with 15 assists, and Jordan Bosse chipped in with 12 kills and two aces. For Attleboro, Chelsea Calgagni had nine kills and an ace, Faith Hindy added two aces, and Ana Leonardo (two aces) dished out 13 assists.

Stoughton, 0 @ Canton, 3 – FinalCanton defended home court with a sweep over Davenport rival Stoughton (25-20, 25-21, 25-17). Julia Minichiello anchored the defense with an impressive performance for the Bulldogs, finishing with nine digs while adding 22 service points (three aces). Olivia Chinsen added 10 assists, four kills, and four aces while Nicole Brown and Taylor Harris combined for 16 kills. CHS head coach Pat Cawley said Liz Bickett impressed in her first varsity start, playing a strong match at the net.

Milford, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final

Franklin, 3 @ Mansfield, 0 – FinalFranklin senior Lauren McGrath went on a 9-0 service run during the third set to help the Panthers put away a pesky Mansfield side, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-5). McGrath also had 25 assists and two aces while Riley Marino added seven digs and two aces. Maggie Doyle had a team-high eight kills and three blocks, Ellie Wisniewski added seven kills, Peyton Arone chipped in with six kills, and Hailey Sanders finished with five kills for Franklin. For Mansfield, Sam Sternberg had 11 digs, Katie Dardinski had five digs, and Olivia McGrath finished with six kills.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip used strong serving to knock off visiting Taunton, 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-21). Kat Kmetz (two kills) had 11 aces and a total of 17 service points while Grace Ely (11 kills) added five aces with 10 service points. Nicole Coughlan added five kills and two blocks while Caroline Robertson finished with four kills and two blocks for King Philip. For Taunton, McKenzie Lucie (ace) led the back row with 10 digs and Kamila Cuevas had a strong game at the net.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalAfter splitting the first two sets, North Attleboro edged the Eagles in each of the net two to get the win on the road (25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17). Kylie Melanson went on a terrific service run in the first set to get the Rocketeers back in it and finished with eight kills. Joanna Collins-Bilyeu had 19 assists and Hayley Gaskin added 12 assists for Big Red.

Boys Cross Country
Mansfield, 15 @ Attleboro, 45 – FinalMansfield senior Paxton Howard crossed the finish line in just under 16 minutes to lead the Hornets to a win. Mansfield had the top six finishers and eight of the top 10. Attleboro sophomore Nate Seybert was the top runner for the Bombardiers, finishing seventh overall.

Attleboro’s Shea Jamieson took first but the Hornets had second, third (Tessa Lancaster), fifth (Emma Lamson), sixth (Brinly Meelia) and seventh (Jessica Alestock), the last three spots clinching the win for Mansfield.

Oliver Ames, 160 @ King Philip, 176 – FinalOliver Ames’ Liam Barry shot a medalist round of 37 at Wentworth Hills to help the Tigers beat King Philip. Nolan Donze shot a 38 for OA while Jared Spillane added a 42 and Thomas Walsh carded a round of 43.

Sharon, 153 @ North Attleboro, 168 – FinalSharon had three golfers shoot under 40 on the North course at Heather Hill to beat North Attleboro. Ethan Skelly shot a 1-under par round of 35 to earn medalist honors, Sam Fergenbaum shot an even par 36, and Corey Carter was 1-over at 37. North Attleboro’s Matt Wanless had a team-low round of 41 while Marcus Costa and Aidan Weir each shot 42 on the day.
