#10 Hingham, 3 @ #2 Sharon, 2 – Final – Click here for a photo gallery of this match – Sharon forced two matches into three sets to stay alive but visiting Hingham proved to be too much as the Harbormen handed the Eagles their first and lone loss of the season in the Division 2 quarterfinals. Freshman Milan Kulijev had an impressive showing at third singles, taking a straight set (6-3, 6-1) win. Junior Jacob Slavsky rallied back from a close tough loss in the first set to win the second and prevailed up in the third set after Hingham retired. The Harbormen took both doubles matches with the team of Travis Rugg and Eric Li handing Sharon’s Sava Kassev and Isaac Chen their first loss of the entire season (6-2, 6-0). At second doubles, Sharon’s Alex Budovalcev and Joel Zwicker scratched and clawed their way back into it with a trilling tiebreak win in the second set before dropping the third and the match (6-2, 6-7 (7), 6-1). Senior Matthew Lally wrapped up an impressive career with a 1-6, 2-6 setback at first singles to Hingham standout sophomore Parker Schultz.
