Canton, 45 @ Oliver Ames, 55 – FinalOliver Ames earned eight points from four events to open the season with a close win over Canton. The Tigers took the top two spots in the high jump (Nolan Querzoli, Patrick Dunlap), the 55M dash (Daniel Nowakowski, Lu Etienne), the 2 Mile (Brody Lake, Oscar Feodoroff), and the 1 Mile (Landon Sarney, Feodoroff). Dunlap added a win in the 55M hurdles, Lake took first in the 1000M, and Querzoli added a second win in the 300M. Mo Arugollu earned eight points for Canton by winning the long jump and taking second in the 600M, which was won by teammate Parker Allen. Mark McDonough added a win in the shot put (37-00.00) and Dan Krasylnykov took second in the 300M and third in the 55M dash. Sam Vail added a second place finish in the 55M hurdles.

Mansfield, 86 @ Foxboro, 14 – Final The Hornets took two of the top three spots in all 10 events and won both relays to open the season with an impressive performance and a win over Foxboro. Mansfield swept the shot put (Ben Fahy, Ramari Fernandez, Samuel Rieth), the 55M hurdles (Santino Marrese, Alex Radchouk, KJ Mahoney), the 55M dash (Myles Brown, Chamberlain Guthrie Jr., Sirius Li), and the 1 Mile (Talon Johnson, Joseph Federline Jr., Luke DuBeau). Guthrie Jr. also won the long jump (21-01.50) while Mansfield picked up other wins from Aldric Scott (high jump, 5-06.00), Colby Quersher (1000M, 2:51.91), Marco Geminiani (600M, 1:28.41) and Enaam Bhuiyan (300M, 38.83). Foxboro’s Timmy Chase won the 2 Mile in 11:07.44 while Cooper Lawson took second in both the high jump and the 600M.

Sharon, 75 @ Stoughton, 25 – FinalElijah Wisdom started the season with a bang, winning three events to lead the Eagles past Stoughton. Wisdom took first in the long jump (20-11.75), the 55M dash (6.80), and the 300M (37.14). The Eagles swept four events: the 2 Mile (Matteo Lozano, Isaac Tsymberov, Riley Newbold), the 55M hurdles (Tobiah Stessman, Cole Feifer, Hillel Preil), the 55M dash (Wisdom, David Bondar, Preil), and the 1 Mile (Alexander Blumen, Tsymberov, Alex Pinnix). Kathrik Pisupati (2:43.97) won the 1000M and Zach Connors (1:36.82) crossed first in the 300M. Stoughton’s Joshua Udeh won the high jump and Ethan Jiminez took first in the shot put.

Attleboro, 82 @ Taunton, 18 – FinalAttleboro swept the top three spots in five events in a season-opening win over Taunton. The Bombardiers swept the long jump (Adrian Rivera, Matteo Bulato, Aidan Pantages), the 2 Mile (Owen Lacaillade, Camden Martin, David Fleury), the 55M hurdles (Max Crawford, Pantages, Josh Codella), the 600M (Austin Bowie, Jonathan Tracey, Jacob Blazek), and the 1 Mile (Lacaillade, Martin, Julian Veloz). Billy Badger added a win in the 1000M while Crawford secured a second win in the high jump. Alexander Susol (shot put) and Dmitrius Shearrion (55M dash, 300M) had wins for the Tigers.

Franklin, 65 @ North Attleboro, 35 – FinalTaking nine points from both the shot put and the 55M hurdles, and eight more from the long jump, Franklin took care of business in a win over North Attleboro. Jacob Bowser won the shot put with Cole Sidwell and Julian Rampino completing the sweep, and Quinten Hardt took first in the 55M hurdles followed by Jaret Schmidt and Peter Gubka. Aidan Thorne added a win in the long jump with Gubka taking second for eight more points. Hardt had another win in the high jump, Brad Morin won the 600M, and Andrew Scotland crossed first in the 1 Mile (5:02.25). Abraham Guir was a double-winner for the Rocketeers, taking first in the 55M dash (6.72) and the 300M (37.08) while Connor Peterson clocked in at 2:46.99 to win the 1000M.

King Philip, 30 @ Milford, 70 – FinalMilford’s Alolye Okhipo was a double-winner and the Hawks swept three other events to take down King Philip in the season opener. Okhipo won both the high jump and the 55M hurdles and Milford took the top three placements in the 55M dash (Yael Lopez De Victoria, Jarret Brown, Taylor Feliciano), the 300M (Ben Parson, Shawn Pierce, John Arruda), and the 1 Mile (Brendan Morin, Damian Chaplin, Andrew DiGiando). Andrew Fletcher (2 Mile) and Joseph Pezza (1000M) also had wins for the Scarlet Hawks. Sean Woods scored 11 points for the Warriors with a win in the long jump and second place finishes in the high jump and the 55M hurdles, while Nick Gallagher (shot put) and Luca Giardini (600M) also had wins for KP.

Canton, 47 @ Oliver Ames, 53 – FinalIn the closest matchup of the night, Oliver Ames won both relays to score a close win over Canton. The Bulldogs led 47-43 going into the final two relays but OA took booth, including the clinching 4×400 relay by six seconds. OA’s 4×400 team of Deanna Flaherty, Kensie Graham, Bridget Hughes, and Braelyn Graham clinched the win after the 4×200 team of Grace Okocha, Lavender Kozaka, Julia Hansen, and Brie Antebi took a two-second win at 1:53. Okocha and Kozaka went 1-2 in the 55M dash to earn key points early, and Kozaka also earned key points by taking second in the long jump. Flaherty and Shelby Hodges took the top two spots in the 600M, Kensie Graham and Brynn Cushing were first and third, respectively, in the 1000M, Braelyn Graham took first in the 1 Mile (5:44.81), and Iole Apostoli and Madeline Stewart were the top two runners in the 2 Mile. Canton’s Kati Oliver and Chloe Dubuisson were both double winners with Oliver winning the long jump (16-08.00) and the 55M hurdles (9.89) while Dubuisson took first in the high jump (4-04.00), the shot put (27-04.00) and added three points with a second-place run in the 300M, which was won by Lianna Camille. Sally Hoban added key points in her first varsity meet, taking second in the high jump.

Mansfield, 58 @ Foxboro, 38 – FinalBuoyed by a sweep in the long jump and seven total first place finishes, Mansfield opened the season with a win over Foxboro. Chloe Guthrie had a strong showing with a pair of individual wins and was apart of the winning 4×200 relay team along with Abigail Scott, Olivia Barry, and Elyssa Buchanan, who won the 55M hurdles (9.37). Guthrie won the long jump (15-00.50) and the 55M dash (7.41). Ashley Kirley and Elsie Roberts completed the Hornet sweep of the long jump. Caitlin Garrahy (33-04.00 shot put), Norah Puleo (3:27.64 1000M), and Anna Moore (5:52.66 1 Mile) also won for Mansfield. Chloe Davies won the high jump (4-10) for Foxboro, Paige Boligan took first in the 2 Mile (14:54.84), and Caroline Bass won the 600M (1:46.36) and teamed up with Adrianna Alberts, Ella Campbell, and Maddy Luck to won the 4×400 (4:26.04).

Sharon, 26 @ Stoughton, 68 – FinalSix different Black Knights secured a win to help Stoughton open the season in style with a win over Sharon. Kirsten Alexson (55M hurdles, 10.00), Julie Richardson (600M, 1:50.71), Lindsey Mitchell (1000M, 3:27.06), Grace Weisenberger (shot put, 24-03.00), Belleya Franck (high jump, 4-10.00), and Sivannah Marcy (long jump, 16-01.25) each earned five points apiece for winning their respective events. Stoughton also won both the 4×400 (Briana Lozano, Mitchell, Neala Garrels, Lauradin) and the 4×200 (Richardson, Marcy, Franck, Senai Whigham). Sharon’s Nina Kyei-Aboagye won both the 300M (43.29) and the 55M dash (7.65) while Amaya Zibrak took first in the 2 Mile (15:15.33).

Attleboro, 55 @ Taunton, 45 – FinalA win in one of the relays helped Attleboro secure a win over Taunton in a tight meet. The Bombardiers took points from all but one individual event, including six wins to earn 30 points. All six wins came from a different Bombardier with S’Staaar Parham winning the high jump (4-06.00), Keren Aldana taking first in the shot put (30-06.25), Emilia Smith crossing first in the 1 Mile (11:58.87), Zenda Gjoni winning the 55M hurdles (10.15), Isla Thompson taking first in the 1000M (3:34.49), and Jordan Riley winning the 300M (47.21). Attleboro iced the win with a win in the 4×400 relay (Allie McNamara, Josilyn Lacaillade, Alexis Cincotta, and Natalie Adema). Taunton swept the 55M dash: Grace Inacio won in 7.79 followed by Neveah Young and Ava Uhl, Bella Coughlin won the long jump (14-06.50), Sydney Martin took first in the 600M (1:51.02), and Sarah Mendonca crossed first in the 1 Mile (6:07.86). Taunton’s 4×200 relay of Renee Leao, Larissa Cardoso, Inacio, and Young won in 1:55.60.

Franklin, 81.5 @ North Attleboro, 17.5 – FinalFranklin took first place in all but one event, sweeping three of them in a win over North Attleboro. The Panthers took the top three spots in the shot put (Lily Deforge, Elizabeth Hopkins, Darby Nicholson), the 55M hurdles (Sarah Dumas, Ella Chandaria, Cailyn Bruno), and the 600M (Sophia Cuneo, Allison Powderly, Callie Joyce). Dumas also won both the high jump and the long jump, Chandaria took first in the 55M dash (7.73) and the 300M (43.72), and Madison Bruno crossed first in the 1000M (3:17.66). Molly Galgoczy won the 2 Mile race for the Rocketeers in 12:19.50.

King Philip, 87 @ Milford, 13 – FinalKing Philip scored over five points in each event and swept both relays on its way to a win over Milford. Alex D’Amadio earned 15 points on her own with three first place finishes, winning the long jump (16-10.75), the 55M dash (7.56), and the 300M (43.92). The Warriors also got wins from Rory Bresson (high jump, 4-04.00), Katherine O’Neil (shot put, 32-03.00), Cheyanne Kelley (2 Mile, 14:03.99), Sarah Glaser (55m hurdles, 9.72), Ella McManus (1000M, 3:36.02), Donelle Balunos (600M, 2:02.34), and Addison Burns (1 Mile, 6:05.60).

Sharon, 1 @ Attleboro, 11 – Final Attleboro earned its second win in as many days, plating four runs in each the third and fourth innings to pull away from Sharon. Senior Sean O’Hara was masterful on the mound, delivering four strong innings with just one run allowed on five hits and no walks while striking out three. Jackson Huntington added two strikeouts in a scoreless inning of relief. Offensively, freshman Ryan Landry had a big outing as he smacked an inside-the-park home for his first career hit; he finished the day going 3-for-3 with five RBI and a run scored. Cooper Johnson also had a big day with two hits, including a triple, and two RBI and three runs scored, and Aiden Hochwarter, Danny Johnson, and Jacob Bettencourt each added one RBI. Harry Librot (RBI), Drew Yaffe, Cole Arundale, and Seth Bonner each had a hit for the Eagles.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ Taunton, 15 – Final (5 inn.)Taunton exploded out of the gate with six first-inning runs and never looked back to beat Oliver Ames, who was the home team on the Taunton High turf. Dawson Bryce started the scoring with a two-run single, Dwayne Burgo brought in another run with a bae hit, and Sean Murphy cleared the bases with a three-run triple to hand Taunton a 6-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Taunton added another run in the second, five more in the third, and three in the fifth. Burgo finished 4-for-4 with three RBI and two runs, Murphy (three RBI, one run) and Brayden Cali (two runs) each had two hits, and senior Ryan MacDougall added a double and three RBI. Peter Moor allowed only two hits and one walk, striking out four in four scoreless innings and Brady Morin tossed a scoreless inning in relief.

Sharon, 89 @ Canton, 43 – FinalDan Krasylnykov, Mo Arugollu, and Ruairi Ritson all contributed key points for Canton in a loss to Sharon. Krasylnykov was a double-winner, taking first in both the 400M (52.9) and the 200M (23.7), Arugollo won the 400M hurdles (65.3) and was third in the triple jump, and Ritson added points by winning the shot put (37’4″), finishing second in the discus, and taking third in the 400M hurdles. Sam Vail added a win in the 110M hurdles (18.9) and Mark McDonough had a winning throw of 114’11” in the javelin. Christian Hanlon had a strong showing with second place finishes in both the 100M (11.6) and the long jump (18’4″), and Kareem Porter recorded his varsity points with a third place finish in the shot put.

The Bulldogs swept the shot put (Emma Massih, Jess Brathwaite, Jocanda Cabral), the javelin (Luran Slotnick, Cabral, Rose Giglio), and the discus (massih, Slotnick, Bridget Feeney) in the win. Katie Oliver was a double-winner for the Bulldogs, taking first in both the long jump (16’10.5″) and the triple jump (33’6″).

Mansfield, 3 @ Taunton, 2 – FinalMansfield junior Nikhil Nain prevailed from a great battle at second singles with a win, completing a singles sweep to help the Hornets handle Taunton. Nain secured a 7-6 (6), 6-4 win while Neema Khosravani won 6-3, 6-0 at first singles and Iniyan Karruppusami grabbed a 6-0, 6-3 win at third singles. Taunton’s Collin Lofgren and Derek Desseault fought to a 1-6, 6-1, 6-4 win at first doubles while the team of Kenny Dias and Rowan Kimmer added a 6-2, 7-5 second doubles win for the Tigers.

Milford, 4 @ Whitinsville Christian, 1 – Final




Girls Tennis
Taunton, 4 @ Mansfield, 1 – FinalTaunton picked up all three of the points and singles and won two of the three matches that went to three sets to pick up a win in a contest that was closer than the final score would indicate. Brooke Bell outlasted Alexis O’Keefe 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 at first singles and Courtney Martin and Caroline Pietnik earned a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory over Carolina Guravage and Rachel Golden at second doubles to give Taunton a pair of crucial points. Ava Alves (6-1, 6-1) and Morgan Smith (6-0, 6-1) won at second and third singles respectively to add to the win. Mansfield’s duo of Jillian Hanley and Savannah Carey pulled out a win at first doubles, taking a third set tiebreaker to beat Janelle Garcia and Cayeesha Charles-Marc 4-6, 6-2, 7-6.

Milford, 27 @ Attleboro, 109 – Final

Canton, 24 @ Mansfield, 112 – FinalEvan Rawlings was a triple winner, Evan Thevenot was apart of three total wins, and the Hornets swept three events in a win over Canton. Rawlings took first in three individual events, winning the 400M hurdles (59.3), the 110M hurdles (16.1), and the high jump (5’2″) while Thevenot took first in the long jump (18’6″), the triple jump (38’2″), and ran a leg of the winning 4×100 team (45.8). John Sylvain led a sweep of the 1 Mile with a time of 5:04.6 followed by Sam Taylor and Kieran Hoff, Troy Penney took first in the 800M (2:06.2) with Colby Quersher and Marco Geminiani rounding out the sweep, the Ty Duffin anchored the sweep of the javelin (124’8″) followed by Eamon Doyle and Shawn Kaufman. Ayden Agbassi won two more events, taking first in the shot put (44’8.5″) and the discus (109’3″), Nate Kablik and Myles Brown went 1-2 in the 100M with identical times of 10.8 (Brown also won the 200M in 22.4 followed by senior Jack Reed in 23.1), and Talon Johnson crossed first in the 2 Mile (10:33) for the Hornets. Canton’s Dan Krasylnykov won the 400M in 54.5 while the Bulldogs got key points from Mo Arugollu, who finished second in both the triple jump (37’7″) and the 400M hurdles (67.9). Ruairi Ritson added a second place finish in the shot put (39’5.25″) and Sam Vail was second in the high jump (5’0″).

Canton, 42.66 @ Mansfield, 93.33 – FinalMansfield swept both the 2 Mile and the high jump and also won both relays on its way to a win over visiting Canton. Elyssa Buchanan was a double winner for the Hornets, taking first in the 100M hurdles (16.2) while anchoring the high jump sweep with a first place leap of 4’8″, followed by Maddie Martin and Riley Charest. Anna Moore ran a division-qualifying time in the 2 Mile, taking first in 12:12.7 with teammates Alex Petrova and Gwen Pare rounding out the top three. The 4×100 relay team of Abby Scott, Danni Cuzzi, Meghan Driscoll, and Katelyn Trolio won in 51.3 while freshmen Lauren Signoriello and Maddie Fernandes teamed with seniors Brooke Penney and Avery Hawthorne to win the 4×400 in 4:22.3. Scott added a win in the 100M (12.4), Carmella Simonelli won the 1 Mile (6:23.1), Signoriello took first in the 400M (61.01), Norah Puleo crossed first in the 800M (2:34.6), Frankie Spagna won the triple jump at 36’9.5″, Hawthorne also won the javelin (81′), and Katie Garrahy was a double-winner, taking first in the discus (85’7″) and the shot put (32’9″). Canton’s Katie Oliver won both the 100M hurdles (16.9) and the long jump (16’6″), took second in the triple jump (34’3.5″), and third in the 100M (12.9). Syriah McCruse won the 200M (26.1) and took second in the 100 (12.6), and Lianna Camille won the 400M hurdles (1:13.4) for the Bulldogs.

Boys Volleyball
Taunton, 3 @ Norton, 0 – FinalTaunton bounced back from a loss on Monday with a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-15, 25-13) over Norton. Matt Freitas led the charge offensively with 10 kills while Owen Kelley (seven kill, three aces, three digs) and Erick Foster (seven kills, four blocks) both had strong games for the Tigers. Ty Eckstrom dished out 18 assists and added five digs and three aces, Daniel Freitas had 14 assists and four aces, and Bradley Hylander had another good game in the back row with eight digs.

Franklin, 23 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalFranklin’s star offensive trio of Tyler Sacchetti, Jayden Consigli, and Luke Davis combined for 24 points to lead the Panthers to a big win in the season-opener. Consigli had a team-high nine points with seven goals and two assists, Davis added three goals and five assists, and Sacchetti finished with five goals and two helpers.

Milford, 1 @ Canton, 12 – Final

North Attleboro, 5 @ Foxboro, 7 – Final Foxboro senior Conor Noone had a hand in all six of the Warriors’ seven goals and junior Adam Addeche had a terrific performance in net in a season-opening win over rival North Attleboro. Noone scored four goals and assisted on two more. Tony Sulham added a pair of goals, Jon Sacchetti scored once, and Ryan Cotter chipped in with an assist. Addeche recorded 15 saves in an outstanding performance in the cage. Luke Antonetti let North with three goals.

Taunton, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 19 – FinalOliver Ames got off to a strong start and never looked back in a win over Taunton, who was playing in its first varsity game since the 2018 season. Jake Manthous set the tone for the host Tigers, winning 17-of-18 faceoffs and scored one goal. Ben Reardon, Alex McAndrew, Ryan Jaco, and Shaun Teehan all had multi-goal games while Owen Bourne scored his first career goal. Jason Zalis, Landon Grothe, Liam Dunlap, and Jack Corey all played well defensively for OA. Taunton freshman Brody Coute stepped in as goalie for Taunton due to an injury, and in just his second day of playing in net, made 14 saves. Senior Tommy Selfridge had a pair of goals for Taunton, senior Thomas Murphy added one goal, and both Connor McGrath and Israel Cruz had an assist.








Girls Lacrosse
Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 16 – FinalFranklin started league play with a big win, defending its home turf with a 16-1 win over Attleboro. Gabi Consigli scored her first two varsity goals for the Panthers while Jamie Tanner had a strong all-around performance with two goals, three assists, two draws, and three ground balls. Ella Mahoney made four saves in net in the win.

Canton, 13 @ Milford, 10 – Final Canton built a comfortable lead by halftime and then held off a Milford comeback bid in the second half to secure a season-opening win over the Scarlet Hawks. Ella Yeaton paced the Bulldogs’ offense with a team-high six goals while Emily McCabe added four goals in the win. Ashley Balunas made seven saves in the win. Canton led 8-2 at halftime before Milford opened the second half with three straight, but that would be the closest the hosts would get. For Milford, Emily Croteau had four goals and one assist, Jordan Douglas added three goals and one helper, and Carly Haley, TJ Downing, and Alexa Landry each scored once.

Foxboro, 19 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalFoxboro played well on both ends of the field as they recorded their first league win of the season. Audrey Campbell and Sofia Lucente each made a pair of saves to combine for the shutout. Macy Quinn, Ella Campbell, and Mary Collins (four assists) also scored once for Foxboro.

King Philip, 11 @ Brookline, 7 – FinalKing Philip had a balanced offensive attack in both halves on its way to a win over Brookline on the road. The Warriors kept the hosts in check during the first half, taking a 5-3 lead by halftime. Abby MacDonald finished with a team-high four goals to pace KP, adding one assist. Nikki McDonald added a hat trick and Alyssa Legere chipped in with two goals and two assists for KP while Emily Campbell recorded 10 saves in the win.

Stoughton, 2 @ Mansfield, 20 – FinalMansfield had nearly a dozen players fine the scoring sheet in a win over Stoughton, who was making its varsity debut in girls lacrosse. Ava Adams led the Honrets with six goals and two assists while Rose Maher had four goals and one helper. Cammy Shanteler, Keira Fitzpatrick, Maeve Anastasia, and Brooke Butler each added a pair of goals in the win. Amanda Reid and Morgan Groppi each scored once for the Black Knights.

Taunton, 7 @ Oliver Ames, 12 – FinalOliver Ames opened up the season with a win at home, capping a double-header sweep with the boys team with a 12-7 decision. Junior captain Liv O’Rourke and junior Erin Cottam each scored three goals to pace the offense while junior Claire O’Rourke made nine saves in net. Taunton’s Mel Jesus had a strong game in net with 18 saves for the visitors while Cali Melo paced the offense with five goals and two assists. Maddison Szala added two assists and one goal, and Caroline Vallarelli had one goal and one helper.

Ruairi Ritson won the high jump (5′), took second in the shot put (38’2.75″), and finished third in the 110M hurdles (20.4), Godson Ofanagoro won the 100M (12.0) and took third in the long jump (17’5.5″), Blair Resil grabbed second in both the 100M (12.2) and the long jump (19’6.75″), and Sam Vail finished third in the 400M (66.3), the javelin (106’5″), and the 2 Mile race (12:10).

Sharon, 54 @ Mansfield, 82 – FinalMansfield won both relays, swept the javelin, and Ayden Agbasi was a double-winner as the Hornets opened the season with a win over Sharon. Agbasi won both the shot put (45’7″) and the discus (109’1) for key points for the Hornets. The 4×100 relay team of Myles Brown, Evan Thevenot, Sirius Li, and Nate Kablik clocked in at 44.7 for first place while the Hornets’ 4×400 team (Tommy Giudicianni, Troy Penney, Kyle Dickinson, Talon Johnson) finished first in 3:42.3. Eamon Doyle anchored the javelin sweep with a first place toss of 104’8″, Brown (23.1) and Jack Reed (23.7) went 1-2 in the 200M, and Penney (2:09.2) and Marco Geminiani (2:09.7) took the top two spots in the 800M. Johnson added a win in the 1 Mile race (4:41.2), Kablik was first in the 100M (11.1), and Evan Rawlings won the 400M hurdles (58.5).

Oliver won both the long jump (16’6.5″) and the triple jump (33’2.5″), and Emma Massih anchored the shot put sweep (with Jess Brathwaite and Jocanda Cabral) while also winning the discus (82’4″). Syriah McCruse won the 100M (12.6) for Canton while finishing second in the 200M (26.7), and Luran Slotnick and Zoe Scibelli registered their first varsity points by finishing second and third, respectively, in the javelin. Annie Odivin won the 400M hurdles followed by teammates Kenzie Bennett and Julia Donovan.

Elyssa Buchanan was a triple winner for the Hornets, taking first in the 100M hurdles (17.3), the high jump (4’10”), and joined Abigail Scott, Megan Driscoll, Danni Cuzzi to win the 4×100 relay in 51.8. Katie Garrahy was a double winner with wins in both the discus (80’5″) and the shot put (31’10”). Scott also won the 100M (13.3) and Driscoll took first in the 200M. Matt Singletary’s leap of 20-04.00 took first (second best in the Hock) with Alex Huynh and Tito Nwosu rounding out the sweep for the Black Knights, while Zachary Feist (7.00) won the 55M dash followed by Matt-Andy Beauchamps and Tyler Noel. Singletary also won the high jump (6-02.00), Thomas Laz won the shot put with a throw of 40-10.50, and William Tinkham won both the 55M hurdles (7.99) and the 300M (38.18). Tinkham also anchored Stoughton’s 4×200 relay team along with Beauchamps, Feist, and Noel, setting a new school record in 1:34.12. Daniel O’Malley earned 15 points with three first place finishes, winning the high jump (6-00.00), the 55M hurdles (8.56), and the 300M (37.39). Other first place finishes for the Warriors were Edosa Omeumu (long jump, 17-06.25), Joe Flanagan (league-best shot put throw of 47-03.50), Brooks Stone (1000M, 2:45.85), Stephen Haney (600M, 1:27.37), and Chris Proulx (1 Mile, 4:53.92). Trevor Palmer and Johnny Ahearn earned four points with a second-third finish in the 2 Mile, and Jaiden Jean and Ishmel Sillah did the same in the 55M dash for Foxboro. Canton’s Luke Darling won the 2 Mile (11:03.65) and Christian Hanlon took first in the 5MM dash (7.13). Canton won both relays with the 4×400 team (Dan Glemaud, Sam Vail, Austin DiBiasio, Mohith Arugollu) clocking in at 4:06.38, and the 4×200 team (Hanlon, Joshua Richards, Charlie Zack, Alex Kraslynkov) finishing in 1:40.33.

Mansfield, 74 @ Sharon, 25 – FinalMansfield completed an undefeated dual meet season with a win over Sharon anchored by sweeps in the shot put and the 55M dash, first place finishes in six more events, and wins in both relays. The Davenport division champs picked up all nine points in the shot put led by Ayden Agbasi’s throw of 44-10.75 with Billy Gardner and Daniel Mintz rounding out the top three. Myles Brown earned first in the 55M dash in 6.76 followed closely in second by Nate Kablik (6.88) and third by Sirius Li (6.96). Talon Johnson had a league-best time in the 1000M, clocking in at 2:40.46 for first, Evan Thevenot took first in the long jump (19-11.50), freshman Joey Federline Jr. won the 2 Mile by breaking 11 minutes for the first time (10:58.15), Troy Penney won the 600M (1:29.04) by less than a second over Sharon’s Karthik Pisupati (1:29.77) with Kyle Dickinson’s PR time of 1:32.37 good for third, Colby Quersher took the 1 Mile in 4:54.12, and Grady Sullivan (37.26) and Matthew Breitenstein went 1-2 in the 300M, both setting new PRs. For Sharon, Naeem Prempin won the high jump (5-04.00) and Alexander Gong clocked in at 8.12 to win the 55M hurdles.

Attleboro, 52 @ Franklin, 48 – FinalAttleboro won both relays, setting a new school record in the 4×200 in the process, to rally for a win over Franklin and clinch the Kelley-Rex division title. Trailing by one going into the final relay, the Bombardiers 2×400 relay team of Peter DelPozzo, Michael Huntington, Jordan Rivera-Silva, and Adrian Rivera registered the best time in school history at 1:33.08 to win the relay and the dual meet. Attleboro’s 4×400 relay team of Austin Bowie, Nicolas Graber, Sean Kaswale, and Camden Martin won in 3:33.62, less than a second ahead of Franklin. Sean O’Hara-Ouellette won the high jump (6-00.00), Adrian Rivera and Jordan Rivera-Silva went 1-2 in the long jump, DelPozzo clocked in first in the 55M hurdles (8.47), and Rivera-Silva took first in the 300M. Luke Hagopian (1000M), Kamron marsh (shot put), and Graber (600M) each had key second place finishes to secure key points. Franklin picked up wins from Jacob Bowser (shot put), Tyler Apicella (2 Mile), Luke Sidwell (55M dash), Jack Halter (1000M), Jake Vaccarezza (600M), and swept the 1 Mile (Jonathan Pink, Will Boozang, Bradford Morin).

King Philip, 42 @ Taunton, 58 – FinalTaunton won both relays, picked up nine points in each the 55M dash and the 300M, and had three more first place finishes in a win over KP. Dmitrius Shearrion anchored both sweeps for the Tigers and was apart of the winning 4×200 relay. Shearrion won the 55M dash in 6.75 followed by Jonathan Trinh and Xavier Spencer, while his win in the 300M (35.30) anchored the sweep along with Jared Spencer and Chris Wallace. Sam Denis added a win in the 2 Mile (10:34.45), Andrew Cali clocked in first in the 1000M (2:50.25), and Cam Door won the 600M in 1:33.23. Degen Granese won a pair of events for the Warriors, taking first in both the long jump (19-04.75) and the shot put (41-09.00), Keagan Fletcher won the high jump at 6-00.00, Kevin Smith’s time of 8.45 won the 55M hurdles, and Nathan Sylven crossed the finish line at 4:43.44 to win the 1 Mile race.

North Attleboro, 66.5 @ Milford, 33.5 – FinalNorth Attleboro’s Nathan Shultz continued his dominance this season, taking three wins — all three with league-best finishes — to lead the Rocketeers to a win over Milford. Shultz was the fastest in the 55M dash, recording a league-best time of 6.69 and then posted a league-best jump of 6-06.00 to win the high jump and a Hock-best leap of 22-05.75 to win the long jump. Connor Peterson anchored a sweep in the 2 Mile with a time of 11:01.51 followed by William Atwood and Brendan Simpson. North also got 1-2 finishes in the long jump (Kyle Conroy), the 55M dash (Abraham Guir), the 1000M (Brady King, Yousef Abdalla), and the 300M (Sam Bush, Guir). Milford’s Christopher Benson won the shot put with a throw of 35-04.00 and Ben Parson took first in the 600M (1:29.99).

Oliver Ames, 57 @ Stoughton, 43 – FinalOliver Ames completed its second straight undefeated dual meet season to claim another Davenport division title, their seventh overall. The Tigers swept a pair of events with Katie Sobieraj anchoring both of them. Sobieraj had a Hock-best time of 3:00.38 in the 300M and was followed by teammates Molly Capece and Erin Reilly while also winning the 2 Mile in 12:39.50 with Iole Apostoli and Brynn Cushing rounding out the top three. Jenna Gilman added a win in the 600M (1:41.67), Catie Wilson took another win in the shot put (28-03.00), and Taegan Hodges and Hailey Goldman went 1-2 in the 1 Mile race. Stoughton’s Gabriele Julien won both the high jump (4-10.00) and the long jump (15-08.50), Shayla Ford was also a double-winner by taking the 55M dash (7.56) and the 300M (42.78), and Belleya Franck added a first place finish in the 55M hurdles (9.73).

Emma Massih anchored the sweep in the shot put along with Allie Wong and Jess Brathwaite while Tahlia Weaver led the charge in the 1000M with Daphne Golden and Sarah Dempster rounding out the top three. Katie Oliver was a double-winner for the Bulldogs, taking first in both the 55M hurdles and the long jump, Maggie McCready had a 10-second personal best time while taking first in the 1 Mile, and Lexi Piazza won the 600M race, setting a new PR by seven seconds.

Mansfield, 74 @ Sharon, 24 – Final Mansfield took first in 10 events plus one relay to claim a big win over Sharon. The Hornets swept the shot put (Caitlin Garrahy, Juliana Machado, Joselyn Saba), the 55M dash (Abigail Scott, Chloe Guthrie, Meghan Driscoll), and the 300M (Olivia Barry, Brooke Penney, Alexandra Leman) for a total of 27 points. Guthrie also won the long jump (15-10.00), Elyssa Buchanan won two events, taking first in the 55M hurdles (9.47) and the high jump (4-08.00), Anna Moore won the 2 Mile in 12:10.00, Norah Puleo took first in the 1000M (3:23.01), Avery Hawthorne added five points by winning the 600M (1:50.11), and Alexandra Petrova clocked in at 6:09.78 to win the 1 Mile. Olivia Nau had six points for the Eagles, taking second in both the long jump and the 55M hurdles.

The Panthers swept the high jump (Abigail Griffith, Sarah Dumas, Vera Hansen), the long jump (Dumas, Barra Pfluke, Cailyn Bruno), the shot put (Lily DeForge, Elizabeth Hopkins, Darby Nicholson), the 55M hurdles (Ella Chandaria, Hansen, Bruno), the 55M dash (Dumas, Chandaria, Sophia Cuneo), the 1000M (Gwenyth Holland, Allison Powderly, Katie Barrow), the 600M (Bruno, Anna Cliff, Ella McLaughlin), and the 300M (Cuneo, Olivia Costa, Cassidy Carmignani). The Tigers won the 4×800 relay in 4:25.63 (the team of Phylicia Dias, Braelyn Nichols, Sydney Martin, Caelyn O’Leary) to have a shot at the win but KP’s 4×200 relay team of Sarah Glaser, Madeline Hill, Ali Gill, and Alex D’Amadio finished in 1:52.79 to secure the win. D’Amadio collected six points from a first place finish in the 300M (43.25) and a third place in the 600M (1:51.23), Gill and Glaser finished 1-2 in the 55M dash, and Hill added 10 more points by winning both the long jump (15-05.00) and the 55M hurdles (9.74). Katherine O’Neil added a win in the shot put (32-00.50) and Cheyanne Kelley won the 1000M in 3:34.06. Taunton’s Colby Dunham won the 2 Mile in 13:09.23, Emersyn DePonte and Sarah Mendonca went 1-2 in the 1 Mile, and Dias and Martin finished first and second in the 600M.

North Attleboro, 50 @ Milford, 50 – FinalMilford and North Attleboro entered the relays tied, and after splitting the relays, finished that way in a 50-50 tie. There was no separation between the Hawks and the Rocketeers, who had 45 points apiece before the relays. Milford won six of the 10 events but North had key depth by getting points from second and third place finishes. Kiyanna Simas won both the long jump (17-04.00) and the 55M dash (7.43), both were league best finishes on the night. The Hawks also got wins from Kay Wheelock (55M hurdles, 10.16), Carly Haley (1000M, 3:30.71), Sydney Kalil (1 Mile, 5:40.35), and swept the 300M (Gabby Peniche, Kaylee Whitney, Wheelock). North picked up wins from Sydney O’Connor in the high jump (4-08.00) with Caroline Folan and Megan Ladd rounding out a sweep, Sienna Newth in the shot put (32-06.50), Ellie Fournier in the 2 Mile (13:34.87), and Faith Wilder in the 600M (2:06.43).

Lauren Miley got Foxboro’s first goal, finishing a free kick from Erin Foley. With less than a minute to play, Neve Taylor scored off a Lindsey Resnick pass (the same combo from Monday’s game) to rescue a result for the Warriors. Keeper Allie Sougaris had another strong game for Foxboro.

Field Hockey
Mansfield, 6 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalMansfield built a big lead early with four goals in the first quarter, then tacked on two more in the final quarter to secure a win over Sharon. Lola Varricchione opened the scoring for the Hornets, Kristina Kipp scored back-to-back goals, and Ella Palanza capped Mansfield’s first quarter scoring to make it 4-0. Danni Cuzzi and Rose Maher each scored once in the fourth quarter while Ava Adams finished the game with two assists.

Foxboro, 3 vs. Walpole, 0 – FinalAfter a tough five-set loss on Monday, Foxboro bounced back with a clean sweep on Tuesday, taking down Walpole, 3-0 (27-25, 25-23, 25-17). Alyssa Cloherty dished out 28 assists and added six digs and four aces, Ava Kirk had a big day with nine kills, and Mallorie Meyer finished with 13 digs, five kills, four aces, and two blocks.

North Attleboro, 39 @ Taunton, 19 – FinalFor the second straight race, Taunton’s Brayden Cali (17:17) and Andrew Cali (17:25) took the top two spots, and Jack Pawlowski took third as the Tigers ran away with a win over North Attleboro. Aiden Zamora (sixth) and Daris Alves (seventh) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers. William Atwood was North’s top runner, clocking in at 18:22 for fourth overall while Brady King (18:25) was fifth.

Canton, 38 @ Sharon, 20 – FinalCanton’s top runner was Sam Vail (third overall), who ran a career best of 18:28 over the 5K course at Ward’s Berry Farm. Luke Darling (18:42) and Austin DiBiasio (20:06) also ran career best times for the Bulldogs.

Alex Batla, Fiona Morrison, and Carli Walbert rounded out the scoring for Franklin with fourth, fifth, and sixth place finishes.

CJ Steel had third birdies and Tyler O’Brien had two, each finishing at 35 for the day to earn medalist honors. Brendan Collins (three birdies) and Jack Hagerty (two birdies) both finished at 36 to round out the scoring for the Panthers. Anthony LaPierre and David Fleming each shot a 39 for the Hawks while Jacob Hipilito, Tyler Caldon, and Eric Farrell each shot a 41.

Oliver Ames, 154 @ Canton, 163 – FinalOliver Ames stayed atop the standings in the Davenport division, securing a win on the road over Canton at Blue Hill Country Club. Battling the wind and rain, as well as the Bulldogs, the Tigers had a strong showing. Senior Michael McGinnis and sophomore Braden Shapiro each shot a 38 on the day to share medalist honors for OA, while juniors Lucas Riley and Ryan Smith each finished with a 39. Canton’s Huck McCready had a team-best round of 40 while Brendan Tourgee, Joey Ryan, and Gavin McMahon each shot a 41.

North Attleboro, 161 @ Taunton, 183 – FinalNorth Attleboro senior Jake Gaskin had a great performance, battling the elements to card a medalist round of 36 to lead the Rocketeers to a win on the road over Taunton at Segregansett Country Club. Sophomore Tyson Laviano added a 40 in the win, Ishan Kohli added a 41, and Jordan Paradis rounded out the scoring for the visitors with a 44. Taunton sophomore Alex Dias had a strong showing, shooting a team-low round of 42.

Foxboro, 0 @ Attleboro, 4 – FinalAfter a scoreless first half, Attleboro exploded for four goals in the second half to surge past visiting Foxboro. It took the hosts less than five minutes to start the second half scoring when Lucas Marques was quick to pounce on a rebound in the box after Foxboro keeper Ryan Cotter made a strong stop on a blast from Esvin Morales. Attleboro doubled the lead in the 50th minute, striking on a quick counter after a Foxboro corner. Billy Badger got the ball up to Steve Etienne, who played a streaking Luke Hagopian in on goal and his low shot found the back of the net despite Cotter getting a piece of it. Richard Ferreira linked up with Morales in the 65th minute, and Morales played a perfect switch over the top of the defense to find Kyle Neuendorf, who blasted a shot from in close that was denied by Cotter, but Neuendorf cleaned up his own rebound. The Bombardiers capped the scoring late when Ferreira headed a corner from Neuendorf off the crossbar and Clay Tyler was first to it and nodded it past the keeper.

Sharon, 0 @ King Philip, 1 – FinalKing Philip found the back of the net for the lone goal of the game in the final moments to give the Warriors an upset win over visiting Sharon. Junior Jack Morgan scored the winner in the 79th minute, finishing off an assist from classmate Neelam McGrath. Senior Connor O’Reilly recorded four saves for the shutout in net.

Mansfield, 3 @ Milford, 4 – FinalFor the second straight game, Milford buried three first half goals but this time, needed one in the second half to put away visiting Mansfield, who rallied for three goals in the second half. All three first half goals came in the final 20 minutes, starting with Johnny Castro’s first career goal. Castro, who was called up from the JV team, latched onto a pass from Kevin Barbosa and got just enough to touch it past the keeper for a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute. Nick Ribero found Castro on the left sideline, and his through ball to Arthur Tome sent him into the box where he was able to touch past a defender before being brought down for a penalty kick. Tome finished the pen himself in the 31st minute, burying a low right-footed shot into the corner. Freshman Danny Da Silva was fouled in the final moments of the first half and Ribeiro drilled a free kick from 25 yards out, over the wall and inside the near post past the outstretched keeper for a 3-0 lead at halftime. Mansfield pulled one back in the 56th minute as Grady Sullivan’s long throw in into the area snuck under a defender’s foot and fell right to Dan Checkoway, who buried it from in close. Milford answered six minutes later when Kaua Pereira looped a header from a Ribeiro free kick over the keeper to make it 4-1. Tyler Znoj took a free kick quickly at the top of the area before the Hawks’ defense or keeper could set to bring the Hornets’ within two. Oliver Ames, 3 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalOliver Ames continued its undefeated start to the season, grabbed its fifth win of the season with a 3-0 decision on the road at North Attleboro. The Tigers built a 1-0 lead in the first half when sophomore Casey Milliken buried a free kick from just outside the area for the lone goal of the first half. Ryan Linhares doubled the visitors’ advantage, finishing off a deflected pass from Milliken. Michael MacAdam capped the scoring, converted a penalty kick that he earned himself after being brought down in the box. Drew Hall notched his third shutout of the season while defenders Hector Bucio, Jake Williams, Diego Rivera, and Jackson Mercieri played well in front of him.

Canton, 1 @ Franklin, 4 – FinalBehind a pair of goals in each half, Franklin pushed its unbeaten streak to six games with a win over visiting Canton. Trey Lovell and Andrew O’Neill each had a goal and an assist in the win, bookending the scoring for the hosts. The two hooked up for the opener as O’Neill set Lovell in the 13th minute to make it 1-0. Lovell then assisted on Franklin’s second goal from center back Rex Cinelli to double the advantage. Sophomore Vignan Kamarthi opened his account in the 60th minute, taking a pass from Bradley Herndon for the Panthers’ third goal. O’Neill capped Franklin’s scoring, notching a goal in the second straight game off an assist from Garrett Scagliarini in the 75th minute. Franklin coach Fran Bositis praised the play of his midfield, noting the strong efforts from Noah Cain along with centerbacks Will Klawson and Cinelli.

Stoughton, 2 @ Taunton, 3 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game.Taunton emerged from a back-and-forth, competitive contest on its brand new turf field with two points behind a brace from Javonte Fernandes and a late-winner from Josh Letourneau. The visitors notched the first goal of the game as Sam Santos worked his way behind the defense in the 10th minute and slid one past the keeper one-on-one for the early lead. The Tigers pulled level in the 20th minute as senior Aidden Fitting made a great run from his outside back spot and was taken down in the area for a penalty kick. Fernandes stepped up and converted with a low shot to the corner. Taunton took its first lead just five minutes into the second half when Fitting sent a long ball into the area that was flicked on by Riley Rebello. Fernandes was able to collect in the area and blast a deflected shot into the back of the net for a 2-1 lead. Similar to Stoughton’s first half, Taunton’s advantage didn’t last long. The Knights sent two to the corner, and with just one Taunton defender, were able to use a quick one-two with Matheus Groberio open for a shot, which he blasted past the keeper. The winner game in the 70th minute after 20 minutes of near chances from both sides, including one off the post from Fernandes that prevented his hat trick. A throw from Rebello bounced past the Stoughton defense and Letourneau latched on, keeping it in play on the end line before using a tidy finish to the far post to make it 3-2. Taunton keeper Jack Buffington made a save in the final minutes on a good header from Joao Marotti. Ben Shirey played well in net for Stoughton, including a one-on-one save on Fernandes in the 60th minute.








Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 2 @ Foxboro, 0 – FinalAttleboro put in what head coach Steve Santos described as a complete team performance on both ends of the field to pick up the road win over Foxboro and move back to .500 on the season. Jamie Davies scored the winner from the spot after Tatum O’Brien’s slaloming run drew a foul in the box. In the second half, Zenda Gjoni headed in a Kacey Parker free kick to secure the two points for the Bombardiers. Alexis Campbell had another strong game in net to earn the clean sheet. Lindsey Resnick had a good game for the Warriors in the back and delivered several dangerous set pieces, while Lauren Miley had a strong game in midfield, but Foxboro couldn’t find the finishing touch.

King Philip, 7 @ Sharon, 2 – FinalKP continued its scorching form in front of goal, scoring seven times on the grass at Sharon. The Warriors have scored 20 goals over the last three games. Ella Pisani sparked the attack again on Wednesday, scoring one goal and assisting on four others. Sofia Goclowski scored both Sharon goals and Autumn Simon recorded an assist. KP grabbed the lead in the fifth minute, as Addisyn Lamothe-Vaughn took a pass from Pisani and found the back of the net from 30 yards out. Pisani teed up Rachel DeFlaminis for her fourth goal in the last two games to make it 2-0 at the midway point of the first half. Seconds before the break, Pisani got a hat trick of assists, playing Heidi Lawrence in behind the defense. Pisani got a goal of her own four minutes into the second half, with DeFlaminis picking up the helper. DeFlaminis added another assist six minutes later with a cross that Mikayla Thompson put away. Eilish McGowen blasted a 25-yard shot with 20 minutes to play (assisted by Pisani) and Olivia Florindi scored off a pass from Ally Smith to make it seven.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – FinalOliver Ames tallied a pair of goals in each half to earn its sixth win of the season, a 4-1 verdict over visiting North Attleboro. Mary Cross wasted little time to give the hosts the lead, converting just five minutes in for a quick 1-0 lead. Sophia Byron netted an “olimpico” in the 26th minute, curling in a corner kick directly in to double the Tigers’ advantage. In the second half, Jessica Keane added to OA’s lead off a feed from Emma Gavin in the 65th minute, and Carly Gibson (from Lucinda Li Cotter) capped the hosts’ scoring in the 72nd minute.

Taunton, 2 @ Stoughton, 5 – FinalClick here for a photo gallery of this game.Stoughton senior Shayla Ford and sophomore Makenzie O’Connor each scored twice to lead the Black Knights to a 5-2 win over visiting Taunton. Sophomore Bianca Casna opened the scoring in the 11th minute, combining with Emma Tran just outside the area before unleashing a shot to the near post for a 1-0 lead. Stoughton doubled its lead less than 10 minutes later as Ford took down a throw in from classmate Isabella Rodrigues, cut around a defender and blasted a shot that hit off the far post and in to give the hosts a 2-0 lead, which they carried into halftime. O’Connor made it 3-0 in the 44th minute but Taunton junior Ava Alves answered, looping a high arching shot that bounced off the crossbar and in. Four minutes later, Taunton goalie Hayleigh Porter made a nice one-handed save on a free kick from Stoughton’s Emma Tremblay, but the ball hit off the crossbar and Ford was the first too the rebound and buried it in the 50th minute. Taunton eighth-grader Kaylee Lopes won an individual battle before slotting a shot to the far post in the 57th minute, but a last minute goal from O’Connor capped the scoring at 5-2. Freshman Molly Fox made seven saves in net for the win for Stoughton.




Field Hockey
Franklin, 4 @ Canton, 2 – FinalCanton took the led on an early goal in the first quarter, but Franklin rallied with three straight to grab the lead and a win over its fellow division leader. Izzy Digirolamo put the Bulldogs in front after two minutes, but Payten Crandall tied it with the first of her three goals. The game remained tied until the third quarter. Haley Wernig put the Panthers in front off assists from Sophia Cuneo and Shaw Downing. Crandall’s second unassisted goal of the night made it 3-1 in the fourth but Canton answered back on a goal from Carolyn Schiavo. Crandall capped her hat trick and sealed the points by finishing off a pass from Emily Carney in the final minute. Devon Barry made one save for the Panthers.

King Philip, 7 @ Sharon, 0 – FinalKing Philip junior Mara Boldy recorded three points to lead the Warriors to a win against visiting Sharon. Boldy had one goal and a pair of assists in the win while both Leah Santoro and Ella McDonell scored a pair of goals. KP senior Kari Calderone notched her first career goal in the win.

Taunton, 5 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final Taunton got back in the win column for the second time this season after collecting a 5-1 victory on the road at Stoughton. Kaysie DeMoura scored a pair of goals and added an assist to pace the Tigers’ offense while Caroline Vallarelli scored twice and Ayla Jackson had one in the win. Morgan Groppi scored off an assist from a Katherine Giroux for the Black Knights, while Kerry Driscoll, Cat Melo, and Jordan Coleman played excellent defensively.




Volleyball
King Philip, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – FinalAfter rolling to a two-set lead, Sharon surprised the visiting Warriors with a third-set win but King Philip finished strong to earn a 3-1 win (25-12, 25-16, 22-25, 25-9). Sami Shore dazzled at the net in the win, landing 16 kills along with a pair of aces to pace the KP offense. Emily Sawyer added six kills, four aces, and three blocks, Ahunna James notched seven kills, two aces, and eight digs, and sophomore Madison Asprelli had 22 assists and six aces in the win.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames defended home court with a clean sweep, 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-18), of visiting North Attleboro. Sophomore Caroline Hansen had a standout performance, notching 10 kills for the Tigers. Clare Kavoulis dished out 25 assists, Sarah Hilliard landed 20 kills, Maddie Homer notched 19 digs, and Courtney Raymond chipped in with five aces and three kills.

Attleboro, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – FinalAttleboro went on the road to Foxboro and came back home with a win, sweeping the Warriors 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-18). Natalie Brojek continued to shine for the Bombardiers with 20 assists, eight digs, and four aces, Julia Leonardo added 14 digs, nine kills, and four aces, and Sadie Whitmarsh was strong defensively with 15 digs. Addie Shelton (six kills) and Ellie Shelton (four kills) were strong at the net. For Foxboro, Alysa Cloherty had 16 assists along with four digs, two aces, and two kills, and Sami Sloan notched eight digs and seven kills.

Taunton, 1 @ Stoughton, 3 – FinalStoughton fended off a challenge from visiting Taunton, emerging with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. Junior Maya Ashu (eight kills) and senior Jessie Queeney paced the offense for the Black Knights.

Franklin, 3 @ Canton, 0 – FinalFranklin returned from a trip to Canton with a dominant 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-15) sweep of the Bulldogs. Taylor Lacerda continued to do it all for the Panthers, notching 12 digs, 10 kills, and a pair of aces while Makayla Kuykendall had a strong game with 11 kills, nine digs, and four aces. Sophomore Zoe Scibelli and junior Kelly Schiavo played great defense for Canton, adding six aces.

Boys Cross Country
Taunton, 21 @ Milford, 37 – FinalTwins Brayden and Andrew Cali took the top two spots, less than 10 seconds apart, to lead the Tigers to a win over visiting Milford. Brayden Cali was first overall in 17:24 while Andrew Cali clocked in at 17:32. Senior Jack Pawlowski was fifth overall, junior Daris Alves took sixth, and senior Aiden Zamora was Taunton’s fifth scorer and seventh overall.

Canton, 16 @ Stoughton, 46 – FinalCanton took the top four spots on its way to a win on the road at Stoughton. Luke Darling led the pack, taking first in 18:54 for the Bulldogs. Sam Vail, Austin DiBiaso, and Dom Gray took the next three spots for the visitors. Maks Alves also had a strong race for the Bulldogs, setting a new personal best.

Taunton, 26 @ Milford, 29 – FinalBy taking second, third, and fourth overall, Taunton pulled out a close win over the Scarlet Hawks. Milford’s Sydney Kalil took first but Taunton’s Colby Dunham (20:34), Emersyn DePonte, and Kiley Quinlan took the next three spots for key points. Sophomore Arianna Abatangelo added a seventh place finish and senior Jakhai Nicholson finished 10th to give the Tigers the win.

Canton, 34 @ Stoughton, 21 – FinalCanton was led by Johanna Bouwmeester (24:18), who took fourth overall, followed by Tahlia Weaver and Tema Manzonson. Klara Redquest had a solid race for the Bulldogs, running a season best time (25:51).

Milford, 147 @ Stoughton, 161 – FinalStoughton had one of its best performances in program history but fell to a strong Scarlet Hawks squad. Junior Anthony LaPierre continued to shine for Milford, earning medalist honors with a one-under round of 35 while Nate Lawrence came in with an even par round of 36. Jacob Hipolito added a 37 in the win for Milford. Stoughton was led by juniors Colby Strunk (37) and Mason page (39).

Sharon, 169 @ Oliver Ames, 147 – FinalBehind a one-under round from junior Sean Kearns, Oliver Ames moved to 8-0 on the season with a win over visiting Sharon. Kearns was the match medalist after carding a 33, recording a birdie on three holes (1, 4, and 9). Seniors Daniel Paul (37), Michael McGinnis (38), and David Rodgers (39) rounded out the scoring for OA. James Spoto and Dylan Cummings led the Eagles at Pine Oaks, each coming in with a 41.

Foxboro, 157 @ Canton, 159 – FinalFoxboro senior Josh Connolly fired a team-low round of 38 and both freshman Zac Georgantas and senior Louis Caranglo came in under 40 as the Warriors secured a rare win at Blue Hill Country Club, sweeping the season series against the Bulldogs. Georgantas and Carangelo both shot a 39 while seniors Reese Curreri and Mat Sullivan came in at 41 to help the Warriors get the close win. Canton sophomore Huck McCready had another medalist round, shooting a 37 to lead all golfers. Matt Anderson added a 39 for the hosts, Brian Middleton shot a 41, and Brendan Tourgee rounded out the scoring with a 42.

North Attleboro, 164 @ Franklin, 155 – FinalIn a crossover clash between two of the top squads in the Kelley-Rex division, Franklin defended its home turf with a win over visiting North Attleboro. Tyler O’Brien and Jack Hagerty shared medalist honors in the win, each shooting a 37 on the day. CJ Steel added a 40 in the win and Caden Sullivan rounded out the Panthers’ scoring with a 41. Jordan Paradis led the visiting Rocketeers with a team-low round of 38.

Taunton, 185 @ Mansfield, 162 – FinalMansfield emerged from its crossover match with Taunton with a big win at Norton Country Club. Nathan McClean led the Hornets with a medalist round of 39, Drew Urban added a 40, and Davon Sanders chipped in with 41 after a strong finish. Brendan Vokey and Cody Nieratko each shot a 41 to round out Mansfield’s scoring.

Junior Erin Cottam led the charge for the Tigers, scoring four goals and assisting on OA’s other two, which were both scored by Kayla Kenney. Julia Maclaine registered two assists and Megan Crabtree had one in the win. For Attleboro, Nora Desrosiers and Siobhan Landers each scored once with Marley Young assisting on both.

Foxboro, 2 @ King Philip, 2 – FinalKing Philip twice erased a one-goal deficit in the third quarter to earn a 2-2 draw against visiting Foxboro. After a scoreless first quarter, the visitors took the lead when Cam Collins took a pass from Val Beigel and found the back of the net with less than a minute to go in the first half. King Philip came back to tie it on a goal from Leah Santoro to make it 1-1, but Foxboro got its second of the game off the stick of Jenny Gallagher with 2:17 left in the third. Before the buzzer, the hosts pulled level yet again as Mara Boldy found the back of the net to make it 2-2. Charlotte Raymond, who also had an assist, and Abby MacDonald had strong performances while Haley Bright made seven saves in net for KP.

Sharon, 0 @ Franklin, 12 – FinalFranklin senior Shaw Downing scored four goals in the first quarter and finished with five overall and one assist as the Panthers rolled to a big win at home. Sydney Rogan added two goals, Ella Aldred, Kaitlyn Carney (four assists), and Sophia Cuneo each scored once, and both Chloe Essam and Maeve Rolston netted their first career goals.

Mansfield, 0 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalTaunton and Mansfield battled back-and-forth for 60 minutes but ended in a stalemate as both teams earned one point from the draw. For Taunton, Jasmine Lucier made four saves in net to record the shutout while the defense of Thal Nogueira, Bridget MacDougall and Sydney Moreton, along with Kaysie DeMoura in midfield, played well for the Tigers.

Canton, 6 @ Milford, 1 – FinalCanton went on the road and earned their fifth straight win to open the season, this time a 6-1 decision over the Scarlet Hawks. Izzy Digirolamo had a huge day offensively for the Bulldogs with four goals. Milford senior goalie Stella Portes made 24 saves in net.

Canton, 3 @ Milford, 1 – FinalThe Bulldogs bounced back from a one-set deficit to win three in a row and grab a 3-1 (19-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22) win on the road at Milford. Jess Wright was everywhere for the Dogs, finishing with 21 kills, 10 digs, and an ace. Fatima Sidibay was a force at the net with seven kills and four blocks while Zoe Scibelli was a calming force on defense with 12 digs and three aces.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Attleboro, 3 – FinalAfter dropping the first set by double digits, Attleboro stormed back to win three straight and secure a 3-1 win (12-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17) over visiting Oliver Ames. The Bombardiers picked up key contributions from Sadie Whitmarsh, who notched 15 digs, and Addie Shelton, who added seven kills in the win. Natalie Brojek dished out 25 assists and Julia Leonardo did it all for the Bombardiers with 20 digs and 18 kills. For Oliver Ames, senior Mary Derba had eight kills, sophomore Clare Kavoulis added 33 assists and three aces, Maddie Homer had 23 digs and 28 serve receptions, Sarah Hilliard added 14 kills, and Addyson Smock finished with seven kills and three assists.

Mansfield, 19 @ Canton, 41 – Final Mansfield swept the top three spots to earn a win on the road over Canton at Pequitiside Farm. Junior Talon Johnson was first overall followed by senior John Sylvian and junior Sam Taylor. Canton junior Sam Vail clocked in a personal best 19:26 as the Bulldogs’ top finisher, while sophomore Max Mateo also had a strong showing for the hosts.

Mansfield, 15 @ Canton, 48 – FinalMansfield had the top five runners to earn a sweep on the road at Pequitiside Farm against Canton. Junior Anna Moore won the race, followed by senior Alexis DiVasta, sophomore Sierra Wojick, senior Devin Anderson, and freshman Alex Petrova to round out the top five. Johanna Bouwmeester was Canton’s top runner while freshman Honesty Johnson had a big personal best and finished fourth for the Bulldogs.

Sharon, 27 @ Stoughton, 32 – FinalStoughton took second, third, and fourth but a first place from Sharon’s Sara Lessard and six straight finishers from fifth on helped the Eagles clinch the win. Stoughton’s Lilly Branco was second overall followed by teammates Elaine McCarty and Julie Richardson.

Attleboro, 39 @ Milford, 19 – Final

Franklin, 19 @ Taunton, 42 – FinalTaking four of the top five spots, Franklin ran away with a big win on the road at Taunton. Junior Alex Batla won the race in 21:21 with sophomore Fiona Morrison just three seconds back at 21:24 to take second. After Taunton’s Colby Dunham (21:27) took third, Franklin senior Ashley Tighe was fourth (21:34) and sophomore Abby Baker (22:29) was fifth. Senior Artemisia Saparoff rounded out Franklin’s scoring by taking seventh (22:57). Taunton’s Emersyn DePonte was sixth overall at 22:54.




Golf
Stoughton, 168 @ Milford, 154 – FinalMilford junior Anthony LaPierre had one of his best rounds of the season, firing a one-under par round to lead the Scarlet Hawks past Stoughton. LaPierre carded a one-under round of 34 to earn medalist honors at Hopedale Country Club. Jacob Hipolito added a 39 and Nate Lawrence chipped in with a 40 for the hosts. For Stoughton, David Monaghan shot a 39 and Mason Page finished with a 42.

Sharon, 192 @ Foxboro, 166 – FinalFoxboro’s Patrick Callahan carded six pars and one birdie on his way to a medalist round in the Warriors’ win over Sharon. Callahan finished with a 37 on the front nine at Foxboro Country Club to lead the way for the hosts. Reese Curreri (three pars, one birdie) added a 41, Zac Georgantas (five pars) finished with a 42, and Louis Carangelo (two pars) came in with a 46. James Spoto shot a team-low round of 43 for the Eagles.

Canton, 172 @ Mansfield, 168 – FinalSophomore Will Riley proved to be a vital addition to the Hornets’ lineup on Tuesday, shooting a medalist round to lead Mansfield past division rival Canton. Riley, who was added to the starting lineup late in the day, was a co-medalist along with Canton’s Huck McCready as both sophomores fired a 40 on the day at Norton Country Club. Junior Jason Friedman added a 42 for the Hornets while junior Cody Nieratko and sophomore Brendan Vokey each shot a 43. For Canton, Joey Ryan chipped in with a 41, Brian Middleton added a 44, and Teddy Shuman carded a 47.

Oliver Ames, 163 @ Taunton, 183 – FinalOliver Ames returned home from Segregansett Country Club with a non-league win over Taunton in a crossover clash. Senior Michael McGinnis and junior Sean Kearns shared medalist honors in the win after both finished the day with a 40. Senior Daniel Paul and junior David Rodgers rounded out the scoring for OA with at 42. Sean Murphy had a team-low round of 44 for the Tigers while Noah Faidell added a 45.
