Attleboro, 57 @ Sharon, 73 – Final – Attleboro cut a 10-point Sharon lead at halftime down to two in the third quarter but the Eagles were able to pull away. Sharon hit 12 three pointers between three players – senior Matt Lowerre hit five, sophomore Jimmy Fitzhenry hit four and senior Tyler Smith had three. Fitzhenry finished with a game-high 20 points and Lowerre had 17 points. Attleboro junior Jake Dunkley had 19 points and nine rebounds and sophomore Nate Douglas chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds. 

King Philip, 66 @ Canton, 53 – Final – King Philip stormed out to a 20-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Senior Ben Smith his six three pointers for a game-high 18 points, freshman Kyle Layman had 15 points and eight rebounds, junior Noah Goodwin had 13 points and junior Pharoah Davis had 12 points. Canton senior Griffin Jerrier scored a team-high 13 points for the Bulldogs. 

Mansfield, 51 @ Foxboro, 69 – Final – Foxboro used an 11-0 run in the middle of the second quarter to create separation while its defense prevent Mansfield from gathering any momentum offensively. Foxboro senior Alex DuBrow scored a game-high 22 points and had eight rebounds, senior Rob Lowey had 16 points and eight rebounds and senior Jason Procaccini added 14 points and five rebounds. Mansfield junior Sam Goldberg had 10 points to lead the Hornets. 

Franklin, 83 @ Stoughton, 63 – Final – The Panthers held a six point lead at halftime (41-35) as the two teams combined for over 75 points in the first half. Franklin had a 23 point third quarter and added 19 more points in the final quarter. Sophomore Connor Peterson had a game-high 16 points while senior Tim Prunier and freshman Jay Dieterle each added 15 points for Franklin. Stoughton senior Brandon Teixeira had a team-high 14 points for the Black Knights. 

Taunton, 62 @ Milford, 50 – Final – Milford held a four point lead at halftime and at the end of the third quarter but Taunton won the fourth quarter 29-13 to get the win. Taunton junior Tommy MacLean scored 20 points in the win for the Tigers. Milford sophomore Kayden Kelley had 14 points and 15 rebounds, Dimitry Torres added 11 points and Dwight Anderson had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Scarlet Hawks. 

North Attleboro, 74 @ Oliver Ames, 70 – Final – Brent Doherty scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Rocketeers. North Attleboro held a 20 point lead at halftime (44-24) but Oliver Ames stormed back with 25 points in the third quarter and 13 more in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime tied 62-62-. Doherty connected on seven three pointers and went 3/4 from the free throw line in overtime. Sophomore Mario Bresko finished with seven points, including a key three pointer in overtime. Junior Jonny Friberg scored a career-high 18 points and had 10 rebounds for North. Oliver Ames’ Carter Evin scored 21 of his career-high 26 points in the second half to help OA get back into it. Tim Kelley added 23 points and senior Shawn Cardoza had nine points for the Tigers. 
Girls Basketball
Canton, 38 @ King Philip, 56 – FinalThe Warriors turned the game around with a 22-4 second quarter. Shannon O’Connor was the top scorer for KP with 10. Sam Madden and Julia Lerouix each scored nine for the Warriors. Canton was led by Emma Murphy with nine points.
Foxboro, 45 @ Mansfield, 49 – Final – Jen Peel was Mansfield’s top scorer with 14 points. Juliana Newell added 10 points and pulled in 12 rebounds and Meg Hill grabbed 14 boards. Cassidy Harrison had a game-high 19 points to lead the Warriors.
Stoughton, 35 @ Franklin, 55 – FinalOlivia Adiletto was the top scorer for Franklin with 13 points. Lauren Rudolph added 11 for the Panthers, who had 10 players on the score sheet. Stoughton was led by Alecia Quinones with 11 points.
Milford, 40 @ Taunton, 44 – FinalThe Tigers rallied in the fourth quarter, outscoring Milford 14-7, to pick up their first win of the season. Alyssa Gibson led the way for Taunton with 13 points and nine rebounds. Jordan Wade added nine and Kia Pate had 10 rebounds. Milford was led by Katie Irwin with 12 points and Nicole Dahlgren added 10.
Oliver Ames, 49 @ North Attleboro, 52 – FinalThe Rocketeers were led by forwards Caroline Collard and Emily Peters who combined for 24 points. Julia Feid added 13 for North. The Tigers were led by Kayla Raymond with 15 points.
Sharon, 35 @ Attleboro, 75 – Final – Emily Houle scored 33 points and added seven steals to pace the Bombardiers to a big win. Sarah Deyo chipped in with 19 points and 10 rebounds and Sam Pierce added another 10 points. Emma Eberhardt was Sharon’s top scorer with 14 and Veronica Wallace added 11.

Attleboro, 43 @ Taunton, 65 – Final – Taunton junior Quan Roberson netted a game-high 20 points while senior Dominique Smith added a career-high 18 points for the Tigers. Tommy MacLean added 11 points and Jose Mercado had 10 points. Attleboro’s Jake Dunkley had nine points and three rebounds and Lucas Boucicaut also had nine points. Kyle Murphy pulled in 10 rebounds for the Bombardiers. 

Canton, 42 @ Sharon, 47 – Final – Sophomore Malik Lorquet made a big splash in his first full varsity game with nine points and 10 rebounds. Junior Adam Banks also scored nine points for the Eagles. Woanyen Mahn and Rishi Jambunathan each scored nine points for Canton. 

Foxboro, 54 @ Oliver Ames, 50 – Final – Foxboro built a seven point lead by halftime and held on in the second half. Senior Jason Procaccini led with 18 points with classmate Alex DuBrow chipping in with 17 points. Oliver Ames junior Carter Even had 17 points and seniors Shawn Cardoza and Tim Kelley each had 12 points. 

Franklin, 60 @ Mansfield, 57 – Final – Freshman Jay Dieterle hit a three with 1:34 left to put Franklin ahead for good. The Panthers, which led by as much as 22, had to stave off a rally from Mansfield over the third and fourth quarters. Franklin sophomore Connor Peterson scored a career-high 23 points and had seven rebounds, Tim Prunier added 15 points and five assists, sophomore Paul Mahon added eight points and six rebounds and Dieterle had six assists to go with five points. Matt Ehrlich had 16 points and five rebounds for Mansfield and Max Boen added 11 points. 

North Attleboro, 47 @ King Philip, 53 – Final – Juniors Will Weir and Noah Goodwin each scored 13 points for King Philip with senior Ben Smith adding 10 points and junior Pharaoh Davis netted 10 points. North Attleboro junior Brent Doherty scored a career-high 24 points for the Rocketeers.

Milford, 60 @ Stoughton, 77 – Final – Stoughton senior Brandon Teixeira logged his league-leading sixth double-double of the season with 22 points and 11 rebounds as the Black Knights enjoyed a strong shooting night from the floor. Junior Ryan Sullivan added a career-best 16 points for Stoughton. Milford junior Nate Davila scored a team-high 18 points and Dwight Anderson added 13 points. 
Girls Basketball
Sharon, 41 @ Canton, 43 – Final Meaghan Hunter led the way for the Bulldogs with 17 points and Emma Murphy added 13, including nine in the fourth quarter. Alyssa Piazza was the top scorer for Sharon with 14 points and Ashley Mukasa added 10.
Oliver Ames, 53 @ Foxboro, 38 – Final – The Tigers had the lead throughout in a key Davenport Division matchup. The Warriors got within one in the third quarter but OA answered with a three to keep the lead. Sophomore Kayla Raymond notched her first double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Hannah Carroll added 10 points and Francesca Calabraro had eight points and nine rebounds. 

Mansfield, 51 @ Franklin, 48 – FinalMeg Hill was the top scorer for the Hornets with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jen Peel added 10 points (eight in the first half) and eight assists for the Hornets and Jackie Carchedi scored nine points (eight in the fourth quarter). Lauren Rudolph led the Panthers with 11 points (nine in the third quarter) and Aubrie Kutil had eight points and nine rebounds.
King Philip, 34 @ North Attleboro, 49 – FinalNorth Attleboro got 10 points apiece from Julia Feid and Emily Haskell. KP was led by Sam Madden and Riley Dalzell, who each scored seven points.
Stoughton, 59 @ Milford, 41 – Final – Julia Foye came off the bench to drain a trio of three pointers and finished with 11 points to spark the Black Knights. Alecia Quinones led Stoughton with a team-high 20 points and added seven steals. 
Taunton, 26 @ Attleboro, 63 – FinalSarah Deyo returned for the Bombardiers with 20 points and 10 rebounds and sophomore Sam Pierce chipped in with her fourth straight double-double, 18 points and 11 rebounds. Emma Vlashi also had 11 boards for Attleboro.

Milford, 55 @ Attleboro, 70 – Final – Attleboro had three players score in double-digits, led by a career-high 24 points for junior Jake Dunkley, who also added seven rebounds. Junior Andrew Milliken had 16 points and five rebounds, sophomore Nate Douglas had 14 points and four rebounds and senior Kyle Murphy had 14 rebounds to go along with seven points. Milford’s Zack Tamagni scored a team-high 20 points for the Scarlet Hawks. 

Canton, 34 @ North Attleboro, 43 – Final – North Attleboro junior Brent Doherty scored 11 of his game-high 15 points in the second half, including nine of them in the third quarter, which was the period the Rocketeers created an eight point cushion. Senior Ridge Olsen added nine points and Kyle Gaumond had six. Canton’s Tony Harris had 12 points for the Bulldogs.

Foxboro, 60 @ Franklin, 65 – Final (OT) – Senior Tim Prunier scored a game-high 18 points while freshman Jay Dieterle scored 13 points, senior Kevin Gill had 12 points, five rebounds and four assists and Josh Macchi had 11 points and eight rebounds. Foxboro’s Jason Procaccini scored 17 points, Robby Lowey added 12 points and six rebounds and Mark Clagg had 11 points. 

Sharon, 45 @ King Philip, 52 – Final – King Philip broke into the win column, pouring in 20 points in the first quarter and never looking back. Seth Sullivan had a game-high 13 points while junior Pharaoh Davis added 11 points and junior Noah Goodwin had 10 points. Peter Banks had 10 points for Sharon, who went 2/24 from 3PT range as a team. 

Oliver Ames, 63 @ Mansfield, 78 – Final – Junior Sam Goldberg netted a career-high 23 points (17 in the second half) pulled in 10 rebounds and had four assists to lead the Hornets. Matt Ehrlich added 17 points and Max Boen added 11 points. Oliver Ames’ Tim Kelley had 20 points and Connor Maroney added 15 points. 

Stoughton, 53 @ Taunton, 81 – Final – Senior Jose Mercado netted 25 points and junior Quan Roberson added 22 points as Taunton’s offense scored a season-high 81 points. Stoughton sophomore Cam Andrews had 14 points to lead the Black Knights. 
Girls Basketball
North Attleboro, 50 @ Canton, 38 – Final – North Attleboro was led by junior guard Ashley Ahern, who finished with 18 points. For the second straight night, Hannah Jerrier recorded a double-double for Canton with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Franklin, 45 @ Foxboro, 51 – Final – Sophomore Ashley Sampson led the way for the Warriors with 21 points while sophomore Lily Sykes chipped in with 12 points for Foxboro. 

King Philip, 53 @ Sharon, 45 – Final – KP rallied from eight down in the fourth quarter behind 18 points from freshman Julia Leroux (nine in the fourth quarter alone). Sam Madden added 12 for the Warriors, who outscored the Eagles 22-7 in the final quarter. Sharon was led by Alyssa Piazza with 14 points and Charlotte Ransom with 12.

Mansfield, 48 @ Oliver Ames, 32 – Final – Caroline Maher led the way for the Hornets with 16 points in a game between the top two teams in this week’s girls basketball Hock 5. Meg Hill added eight points and nine rebounds and Jen Peel had eight points and eight assists for Mansfield.

Attleboro, 54 @ Milford, 26 – Final – The Bombardiers were without star forward Sarah Deyo but pulled out the win on the road led by 18 points and 12 rebounds from sophomore Sam Pierce. Emma Vlashi added 12 points for Attleboro in just her second game back from injury and Fatima McDonald chipped in with eight steals.

Taunton, 52 @ Stoughton, 54 – Final – Stoughton seniors Jess Greer and Alecia Quinones each scored a team-high 18 points to lead the Black Knights to a close win. Taunton senior Jordan Wade had 16 points while Lily Patneaude and Alyssa Gibson each added 12 points for the Tigers. 
Hockey
Canton, 11 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Senior Matty Marcone netted his first career goal to lead the Bulldogs to a league win.
Wrestling
Taunton, 42 vs. Josiah Quincy 36 – Final – The Tigers got wins from Chris Fernandes (120), Justin Bradley (132), Brandon DeForitis (145), Alex Simon (170), Jose Anaya (182), Nuno Camara (195), and Mason Frank (220).

Milford, 1 @ Stoughton, 5 – Final – Mark Sheehan scored twice, Jon Lessa had a goal an assist while Ryan Chipman, Barry Cooke, Carter Gerome, Eoin Doherty, Donnie Foley and Nick Hardy all recorded a point in the win. Milford’s Griffin Burns scored off an assist from RJ Stansbury. 

Oliver Ames, 5 vs. Quincy, 2 – Final – Five different players scored – Matt Mancini, Jared Costello, Jack Maloney, Evan DiMartinis and Max Ward – to lift the Tigers to a season opening win.

Mt. Hope Tournament (Franklin, Stoughton) – Franklin’s A squad finished in second place at the tournament. 
Devin Ness Memorial Tournament (King Philip, Oliver Ames) – Oliver Ames’ Shea O’Connor and Pat Mills each won at their weight class as the Tigers finished in fourth. King Philip finished in sixth. 
Lincoln-Sudbury Quad (Mansfield) – The Hornets broke even, going 2-2 on the day. 
Tewksbury Quad (Milford) – Milford went 3-0 at the Tewksbury quad with Ryan Nesta, Ryan Gray and Nick Johnson each going 3-0. 
North Attleboro Quad (North Attleboro) – North Attleboro went 3-0 on the day.
Sharon Quad (Sharon) – Sharon went 3-0 on the day with wins over Pembroke (53-30), Plymouth North (42-36) and Walpole (42-39). 
Norton Quad (Taunton) – The Tigers went 2-1 with wins over Durfee and Nauset. Justin Bradley (126), Jorge Rodrigues (138), Nuno Camara (182) and Santiago Lopez (220) all went 3-0 on the day.

Attleboro, 44 vs. Franklin, 55 – Final – Franklin got first place finishes from Luke Gordon (38.35) in the 300M and the high jump (league best 6-01.00), Jimmy Robbins (2:51.40) in the 1000M, Paul Kroushl (1:34.50) in the 600M, Ryan Spelman (4:44.39) in the 1 Mile and both the 4×200 and 4×400 relay teams. Attleboro was paced by first place finishes from Isaiah Rodrigues (6.87) in the 55M dash and in the long jump (18-10.25), Brett Szlachciuk (10:47.38) in the 2 Mile, Jacob Hardy (league best 50-05.00) in the shot put. Attleboro’s Patrick Collins (44-07.50) and Nathaniel Joyal (41-08.50) finished second and fourth, respectively, in the shot put. 

Canton, 23 vs. Sharon, 73 – Final – Sharon’s Oliver Hu was first in the 55M dash (league best 6.84), Matthew Hoffman was first in the 300M (39.93), Tieqi Sun was first in the 1000M with a time of 2:57.61, Tianrui Sun (league best 4:44.08) was first in the 1 Mile, William McManus was tops in the 55M hurdles (league best 8.20), both 4×200 and 4×400 relay teams were first and Carlos Grullon had a league best 20-03.00 in the long jump. Canton’s Patrick Hession was first in the 600M at 1:30.14 and senior Mark Clancy was first in the 2 Mile at 10:38.87 (PR and state qualifier) and second in the 1 Mile at 4:47.32.

Foxboro, 61 vs. Stoughton, 39 – Final – Foxboro’s Hunter Williams finished first in the 300M at 41.27, Danny Rounds came in first in the 600M at 1:37.09, Will Regan (2:54.85) was first at the 1000M, Alton George (37-03.25) and Jack Lovely (36-11.00) were first and second in the shot put and Eseosa Omuemu was first in the long jump (19-01.50). For Stoughton, Clifton Gerring was first in the 55M dash at 6.96 and first in the high jump at 5-05.00, Cameron Bean was first in the 1 Mile at 4:50.84, Colin Cochran was first at the 2 Mile at 11:23.87 and Alexander Oliver (8.74) was first in the 55M hurdles.

King Philip, 39 vs. Taunton, 61 – Final – Taunton’s Brian Cherenfant ran away with the 300M with a league best time of 37.31 and finished first in the long jump at 18-06.75. Matthew Holt (38.59) finished second in the 300M. Jimmy Hoye (1:31.24) was first in the 600M, Zac Bentley was first in the 1000M at 2:48.28, Dylan Lynch (4:48.81) took first in the 1 Mile, Trevor Wysong (10:16.48) was first in the 2 Mile, Lance Law was first in the high jump at 5-09.00. King Philip’s Sean Garrity was first in the 55M dash at 6.85, Ethan Dunne was first at the 55M hurdles at 8.38 and Paul Macrina came in first at the shot put at 43-03.50.

Mansfield, 62 vs. North Attleboro, 38 – Final – Devin Maughn was first in the 300M at 37.95 for Mansfield, Kyle Amerantes finished first at the 600M in 1:29.18, Jack Crawford (2:43.92) and Kevin Crawford (2:45.73) were first and second in the 1000M, Nick Rispoli (4:48.77) came in first in the 1 Mile, Jake Affanato recorded a league best time of 10:14.17 in the 2 Mile, Jareme DiLorenzo came in first in the 55M hurdles (8.25) and Kevin McCree was best in the shot put at 40-02.75. Milford, 28 vs. Oliver Ames, 72 – Final – OA’s Doug MacDonald topped the 55M race at 6.94, Belmund Rodrigues-Pires finished first at the 300M in 37.59, Michael Braga was first in the 1000M at 3:01.60, Jarod Boone (4:45.23) finished in the first spot in the 1 Mile, Troy Kent (10:44.79) was first in the 2 Mile, Jack Gangemi topped the shot put at 34-00.00, Jack MacAdam came in first in the high jump at 5-05.00 and Kalil Matier was best in the long jump at 19-01.50. Milford’s Cam Clark won the 55M race at 7.08, Jared Luce took the 600M race at 1:33.26 and Luis Goncalves was first in the 55M hurdles at 8.91.

Attleboro, 16 vs. Franklin, 84 – Final – Franklin’s Jessica Kroushl came in first in the 55M dash at 7.71, the 300M race at 43.54 and the long jump at 16-02.25. Meghan Doherty had a league-best time of 1:43.55 in the 600M, Brittany Robinson (league-best 3:14.00) and Sabrina Roche (3:16.13) came in first and second respectively in the 1000M, Ella Gutkowski grabbed first in the 1 Mile in 5:56.82, Sarah Goodermuth was first in the shot put at 28.02.25 and Lauren Farnan was first in the high jump at 4-07.00. Attleboro’s Quincy Harding took first in the 55M hurdles at 9.72 and was second in the long jump at 16-00.00.

Canton, 39 vs. Sharon, 61 – Final – Ariadne Tolay finished first in the 600M at 1:44.91, sophomore Amanda Brown (3:29.86) was first in the 1000M, Heather Seggelin took first in the 1 Mile at 5:55.67, Maria Gieg was first in the 2 Mile at 12:35.04, Brigid Loftus won the 55M hurdles at 10:08 and freshman Geena Lesser took the high jump at 4-07.00. Canton’s Selena Cho won the 55M (state qualifier 7.87), the 300M (54.78) and the long jump (state qualifier 15-04.25), Kelly Dever won the shot put at 28-03.25 and Hannah Link came in second in the 300M and third in the 55M in her first track meet. 

Foxboro, 68 vs. Stoughton, 32 – Final – Foxboro’s Shraeya Srinivasan was first in the 55M at 7.76 and the long jump at 16-08.50, Berlendah Dure was first in the 300M at 44.86, Meredith Cronin (league-best 5:36.46) came in first in the 1 Mile, Lexi Quinn was first in the 2 Mile (12:14.09), Marina Wright was first in the 55M hurdles at 10.13 and Kelsey McDonald was first and tied for a league best 4-11.00 in the high jump. Stoughton’s Marissa Williams claimed first in the 600M at 1:58.71, Julia Bobeck was first in the 1000M at 3:36.76 and Nashadee Guerrier got the win at the shot put at 29-09.00. 

King Philip, 40 vs. Taunton, 60 – Final – Taunton’s Jill Purtell was first in the 55M hurdles at 9.65 and in the long jump at 16-10.25, Sam Tichelaar got the win in the 55M dash at 7.85, Leishnaly Rosado came in first in the 300M at 45.74, Samantha Grundy was tops at the 1000M at 3:20.89 and junior Amanda Baptiste (12:52.78) and eighth grader Tatyana Mainer-Smith (12:55.76) came in first and second respectively in the 2 Mile. King Philip’s Lucy Hamilton got a first place finish in the 600M at 1:46.91, Sarah Butts won the 1 Mile at 6:19.45, Emily Cote was first in the shot put at 27-07.50 and Abigail Mckeown finished first in the high jump at 4-09.00.

Mansfield, 46 vs. North Attleboro, 54 – Final – In the tightest meet of the day, North Attleboro was led by a first place finish in the 2 Mile by Ann Roberts (league best 12:06.23), a win at the shot put from freshman Julia Mechlinski (30-06.50), a first place finish from senior Nicole Boulanger (tied league best 4-11.00), and a first place finish from Isabelle Renzi in the long jump at 16-10.25. Mansfield’s Lauren Waters had a league best finish at 7.58 in the 55M dash, Kelly Crawford had a league best time of 42.41 in the 300M, Rachel Stier had a first place finish in the 600M at 1:46.96, Caitlin Whitman finished first in the 1000M at 3:17.00, Emma Oldow had a first place finish the the 1 Mile at 5:56.08 and Alicyn McHugh finished first in the 55M hurdles at 10.45.

Milford, 33 vs. Oliver Ames, 67 – Final – Sophomore Elizabeth Nuss got the win for the Tigers in the 55M dash at 8.11, Lauren Wright came in first in the 600M at 1:44.62, junior Dana Lowney, junior Jessica Robarge and senior Erin Fitzgerald finished 1-2-3 in the 1000M, Gabby Eldridge was first in the 55M with a league-best time of 9.47, Chi-Chi Akanegbu was first in the shot put at 35-10.50 (league best) and Comfort Udo came in first in the high jump at 4-09.00. Milford’s Gabby O’Neil was first in the 300M race at 46.42, Jenise Madden (5:50.23) was first in the 1 Mile, Gabriela Chong (12:41.61) was first in the 2 Mile and Christina Speliakos was first in the long jump at 15-11.00.
