King Philip, 1 vs. Bridgewater-Raynham, 3 – Final
North Attleboro, 3 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – North Attleboro took a lead three times in the game but Mansfield had an answer each time. North’s Jason McNeany put the Rocketeers up but Mansfield freshman Chris Jenkins scored an unassisted goal to tie the game. Zach McGowan put Big Red up 2-1 late in the first but the Hornets tied the game on the power play in the second, Joey Olsen converting off assists from Matt Farragher and Tyler Oakley. Drew Wissler put North ahead 3-2 but Jenkins tied the game on assists from Olsen and Farragher with 4:15 to play. Tony Rullo made 28 saves for the Hornets while Ryan Warren made 30 saves for Big Red.
Oliver Ames, 5 vs. Brockton, 1 – Final – OA junior Rory Madden netted a pair of goals while junior Eric LeBlanc, senior Evan DiMartinis and senior Jared Costello each scored once for the Tigers. Sophomore Cullen Gallagher had three assists. “It was a strong team effort, a complete game from all three lines,” OA head coach Sean Bertoni said.

Boys Basketball
Mansfield, 66 @ Attleboro, 56 – Final – Mansfield erased a four point deficit in the fourth quarter, closing the game with a 14-0 run to earn the win on the road. Mansfield senior Benjamin Albanese connected on a trio of three pointers and finished with a career-high 13 points to help the Hornets. Christian Weber hit four three-pointers for a team-high 18 points while Sam Goldberg had 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Attleboro freshman Bryant Ciccio scored 14 points while senior Jake Dunkley netted 11 points.
Milford, 36 @ Canton, 46 – Final – Canton used a 20-point second quarter to build a 31-15 lead at halftime and then held the Scarlet Hawks to just six points in the final quarter to earn the win. “It’s nice to see focus and execution,” said Canton head coach Ryan Gordy. “We had a game plan coming in and what we practiced carried over into the game. When we are focused we can be a dangerous team. Milford is explosive so we new we had to defend for four quarters.” Junior Tony Harris led the Bulldogs with 16 points and 11 rebounds while classmate Jake Verille added 13 points for Canton.
Stoughton, 47 @ Foxboro, 62 – Final – Foxboro built a 10-point lead in the first quarter and held onto that lead the rest of the way. The Warriors went up 22-12 at the first and 35-22 at halftime. Foxboro used a 7-0 run to begin the fourth quarter to put the game away. Senior Jamaine Few tied a career-high with 17 points while Joe Morrison added 16 points and freshman Brandon Borde chipped in with nine points. Stoughton senior Cam Gomes had a team-high 11 points.

King Philip, 52 @ Oliver Ames, 63 – Final – Oliver Ames moved within a win of qualifying for the state tournament with a win over King Philip. Senior Nick Welch scored a team-high 19 points while junior Jack Spillane chipped in with 13 points for the Tigers.

Foxboro, 65 @ Stoughton, 49 – Final – Kristen Bortolotti scored 19 points to lead the Warriors, who moved a half-game in front of idle North Attleboro at the top of the Davenport division. Grace Tamulionis added 14 points and Ashley Sampson had 12 for Foxboro.
Franklin, 49 @ Taunton, 29 – Final – Bea Bondhus had a team-high 14 points for Franklin and freshman Ali Brigham added 11 as the Panthers made it three straight wins and seven wins in the last nine games.
Oliver Ames, 51 @ King Philip, 35 – Final – Oliver Ames limited the Warriors to just 12 points at halftime, rolling to a 51-35 win on the road. Kayla Raymond dropped a team-high 19 points for the Tigers while Niyera Mitchell chipped in with 10 points.
Hockey
North Attleboro, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – Connor Ford put North Attleboro up 1-0 in the first period and Erik Clements scored his first goal of the game early in the third period to give the Rocketeers a 2-0 lead. Oliver Ames’ Eric LeBlanc cut the deficit in half midway through the final period and the Tigers had a couple of chances to tie the game with the goalie pulled, but Clements got his second of the game with an empty netter to ice the game. OA freshman goalie Owen Connor made 27 saves in his first start.

Boys Basketball
Attleboro, 51 @ Foxboro, 59 – Final (OT) – Foxboro junior Joe Morrison scored 14 of his team-high 21 points in the first half, giving the Warriors a 28-21 lead by the break. Attleboro cut the deficit to two heading into the final quarter and tied the game inside the final minute to send the game to overtime. Foxboro junior Teddy Maher came up clutch with a big three in overtime as the Warriors outscored Attleboro 11-3 in the extra frame. Senior Andrew Block and freshman Brandon Borde added 10 points apiece for Foxboro. Andrew Milliken scored a team-high 14 points for the Bombardiers while freshman Qualeem Charles added 11 points.
Oliver Ames, 56 @ Canton, 45 – Final – Oliver Ames senior Nick Welch scored a career-high 28 points, accounting for half of Oliver Ames’ points in a remarkable performance. Carter Evin added 13 points for the Tigers.
Franklin, 80 @ Sharon, 57 – Final – Franklin scored 26 points in the first quarter and never looked back, hitting the 80 point mark for the second game in a row. Junior Paul Mahon dropped a game-high 18 points while senior Josh Macchi chipped in with 16 points for the Panthers. Sharon junior Malik Lorquet had 13 points and 10 rebounds and senior Ben Stamm added 10 points for the Eagles.

Mansfield, 66 @ Milford, 53 – Final – Milford raced out to a 12-3 lead and stayed within three late in the third quarter, but Mansfield was able to pull away with with a 16-9 final quarter. The Hornets connected on nine three pointers with Max Boen (11 points, six rebounds, four assists) hitting three and Christian Weber (11 points, four assists), Sam Hyland (10 points, five rebounds) and Ben Albanese (six points) each hitting two trifectas. Sam Goldberg led Mansfield with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Milford’s Anthony Arcudi poured in a career-high 30 points while Zack Tamagni added 10 points for the Hawks.

Foxboro, 58 @ Attleboro, 46 – Final – Click here for a recap of this game.
Canton, 33 @ Oliver Ames, 58 – Final – Oliver Ames’ defense limited Canton to just 15 points in the second half while the offense kept its pace to pick up the win at home. Kayla Raymond had 16 points and 15 rebounds, Niyera Mitchell added 16 points and both Hannah Carroll and Abby Reardon netted 10 points.
Sharon, 34 @ Franklin, 76 – Final – The Panthers had four players reach double figures in points led by Carli Koffinke’s 15. Ali Brigham added 12, Margaux Welsh had 11, and Bea Bondhus scored 10 for the Panthers. Sharon freshman Telishya Herbert, a recent varsity call-up, led the Eagles with eight points.
North Attleboro, 51 @ King Philip, 28 – Final – Julia Feid was the top scorer for North Attleboro with 14 points, while fellow sophomore Shannon O’Connor led KP with seven points.
Milford, 43 @ Mansfield, 53 – Final – Jen Peel scored 15 points and dished out eight assists for the Hornets, Ann Maher added 13 points and Meg Hill scored 12 points and pulled to lead Mansfield. Kate Irwin was Milford’s top scorer with 12 points and Christine Pye added eight for the Hawks.
Hockey
Attleboro, 6 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – Mansfield built a 4-0 lead after the first period but Attleboro stormed back, netting three goals in the second period and then three more in the third period to get the win. Jake Parker scored five goals to lead the comeback for the Bombardiers while Cam Littig scored once.
Taunton, 0 @ Canton, 7 – Final – Bubba McNeice scored twice and Brian Ghostlaw netted his first career goal to pace the Bulldogs. Mike Dadasis and Ryan Lodge scored back to back goals early in the first period to give Canton a 2-0 lead after one period. Charlie Malloy and Ryan Nolte also scored for Canton in the game.
Oliver Ames, 6 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final – Six different players found the back of the net for the Tigers, starting with a goal from junior captain Eric LeBlanc. Senior Mike Nikiciuk added a goal and an assist and freshman Hunter Costello scored his first career goal. Freshman goalie Owen Connor made five saves in the third period.
King Philip, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final
North Attleboro, 8 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – North Attleboro sophomore Anthony Zammiello netted a hat trick in the first period while Devin Sparrow and Justin Moccia each scored their first career goals. Jon Lessa scored a third period goal for the Black Knights.

Franklin, 45 @ King Philip, 18 – Final – Franklin clinched the Kelley-Rex title outright, its first since 2014 and the program’s 17th Hockomock title with a win at KP.

Taunton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Cullen Gallagher registered three points, with two goals and an assist to pace the hosting Tigers. Juniors Eric LeBlanc and Rory Madden each had a goal while senior Jared Costello had two assists. OA Goalie Zach Walsh made nine saves to record his first shutout of the season.
Wrestling
St. John’s Shrewsbury Quad (Canton) – Canton went 0-2 at the meet, falling to both Lynnfield-North Reading and St. John’s Shrewsbury.
Foxboro @ Duxbury Quad – Foxboro went 2-0-1 on the day. The Warriors rolled past Quincy 70-6 then beat No. 8 ranked Marshfield 42-33. Foxboro finished the day with a 39-39 tie with No. 4 ranked Methuen.
Franklin @ Merrimack Duals, – Franklin finished second out of 11 teams at the team duals, going 4-1 overall. Franklin beat Biddeford (Maine) 48-19, Alvirne (N.H.) 46-22, St. Johnsbury (Vt.) 49-6, and Lawrence (Mass.) 40-20. The Panthers lost to Marshwood (Maine) 45-18 in the final match.
Whitman-Hanson Quad (King Philip, Sharon) – Sharon went 3-0 at the Whitman-Hanson Quad. The Eagles beat KP to start the day, 51-21, and then followed it with wins against North Quincy (60-24) and Whitman-Hanson (54-18).
Cape Cod Invitational (Mansfield, Taunton) – Mansfield claimed the team title at the Cape Cod Invitational with 136.5 points. Freshmen Antonios Sevastos (106) and Vinnie Holmes (170) both finished first at their weight classes, while Will Stratton (126) and Ford DelVecchio (22) both took second place finishes. Taunton had three wrestlers place: Alex Rodriguez (138) placed second, Nuno Camara placed (182) was third and Woudanly Danger (220) placed fourth.

Canton, 120.8 @ Franklin, 123.4 – Final – Franklin junior Liz Traphagen won the all around with a 34.7 – scoring a 8.3 on vault, 8.7 on bars and beam and a 9.0 on floor – to lead the Panthers to their first win since reestablishing the program. Sophomore Sadie Rondeau was second in all around with a 33.2 – scoring an 8.1 on vault, 7.4 on bars, 8.0 on beam and 8.2 on floor.

Junior Rory Madden netted a pair of goals in the win, including the game-winner. Junior Eric LeBlanc also scored for the Tigers. Senior Zach Walsh made 27 saves in net for Oliver Ames.
Taunton, 14 vs. New Bedford, 1 – Final – Taunton had 19 different players register a point in the big win over New Bedford. Jaden Weyant netted a hat trick while Brady Nichols and Noah Gravel each scored their first career goals. Sean Bunker and Andrew Gomes split time in net for the win.

Girls
Franklin, 107 @ Attleboro, 63 – Final – Junior Ashley Loomis and senior Helen Huang each won a pair of individual events and were apart of two winning relay teams. Loomis won the 200 and 500 free while Huang took first in the 50 and 100 free. Huang and Loomis teamed up with Leah Benoit and Audrey Finn to take first in the 200 free relay. Isabel Capecci and Katie McGuire were apart of the first place 400 free relay with Huang and Loomis.
Gymnastics
Franklin, 114.5 @ North Attleboro, 136.7 – Final – Franklin’s top all around finish came from Liz Traphagen. Traphagen scored 8.0 on vault, 7.8 on bars, 8.5 on beam and 8.6 on floor.

Franklin, 5 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 2 – Final – Juniors Luke Downie and Brendan O’Rielly each scored a pair of goals while classmate Jeremy Miller scored once. O’Reilly and senior James Kilroe each recorded two assists as the Panthers opened the season with a win.
King Philip, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Junior Eric LeBlanc led Oliver Ames with two goals while sophomore Colin Bourne and senior Jack Maloney each found the back of the net once. OA goalie Zach Walsh made 20 saves. Cullen Gallagher and Rory Madden each had an assist.
Mansfield, 2 vs. Winthrop, 3 – Final – Mansfield led 1-0 after two periods but three straight goals from the visitors made all the difference. Matt Farragher and Tim Arnold each scored for the Hornets.

Eighth grader Camden Faria scored his first career goal and also had an assist while senior Chris Gomes scored twice, including his first career goal.

King Philip, 2 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Sophomore Maggie Malloy netted a pair of goals and classmate Lauren Fitzpatrick scored one – the game-winner in the third period – and added an assist.
Franklin, 6 vs. Leominster/St. Bernards, 3 – Final – Sophomore Reagan Paterson netted a hat trick to pace the Panthers in their first game of the season. Junior Jackie Connelly added two goals and an assist while Maddie Hinkley scored once.
