#11 King Philip, 8 @ #3 Newton North, 10 – Final – King Philip stayed level with third seeded Newton North, tied 2-2 after a quarter and 5-5 at halftime. The Tigers took a a 9-7 lead into the final quarter but KP pulled within one with 4:39 to go. Sam Agricola scored his third goal of the game off an assist from Tim Watson (goal, two assists) but Newton North was able to ice the game with an empty netter with just over a minute to play. “It’s been an honor to coach this team this year,” KP head coach Jacob Kravitz said. “I’ve learned and grown as a coach from having coached this senior class. I’m proud of how hard they fought today.” John DeLuca scored twice, Ben Palmer had a goal and an assist and Anthony Truini scored once. Steven Eaton had seven ground balls and Paul Macrina made 15 saves in net.
