Girls Soccer
Oliver Ames, 3 vs. Brockton, 1 – Final – Seniors Francesca Calabraro, Kiana Lozzi and Lauren Wright each scored a goal in the first half as Oliver Ames built a 3-0 lead by halftime. Head coach Britt Sellmayer said Emily Freeman and Zoe Chazan had solid defensive games for the Tigers.
Taunton, 1 @ New Bedford, 1 – Final – Olivia Sweeney scored Taunton’s goal, on an assist from Alexis Faria. Grace Pimenta had four saves in net for the Tigers.
Field Hockey
Oliver Ames, 3 vs. West Bridgewater, 1 – Final – Oliver Ames built a three goal lead by halftime and held off West Bridgewater in the second half to hand new head coach Abby Tepper her first career win. Dimitra Efremidis scored once and had an assistwhile Sarah Steves and Kendall and Clifford each scored once. Meaghan Rockey added an assist for the Tigers.
Milford, 0 vs. Nipmuc, 3 – Final – Milford head coach Kim Danish noted Kaitlyn DeCapua had a strong game for the Scarlet Hawks.
Volleyball
North Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – The Panthers rallied from a six point deficit in the first set to set the tone and earn the win. Erin Skidmore rattled off nine straight service points, turning a 20-14 North Attleboro lead into a 23-20 lead for the Panthers in the first set. Skidmore finished with 16 service points, seven aces, five kills and two blocks. Junior Meaghan Maguire led Franklin with 10 kills and three blocks while sophomore Lauren McGrath had 17 Assists and five aces for the Panthers.
Golf
Milford @ Foxboro – Postponed to 9/12
Franklin, 165 @ Mansfield, 174 – Final – Franklin junior Bryan Woelfel was the match medalist, shooting a 37 to lead the Panthers. Senior Matt Dao also had a strong day for Franklin, carding a 41. Mansfield senior Jason Hindham shot a team-best 38 for the Hornets.
Taunton, 179 vs. Coyle & Cassidy, 198 – Final – Taunton started the season off with a win over rival Coyle, behind a match-low 41 from Mike Volkmann. Justin Proto shot a 43 for Taunton while Jake Crawford had a 46 and Ryan Maloney carded a 49.

#3 Oliver Ames, 3 vs. #9 Masconomet, 1 – Final – Masco took the lead in the 13th minute but goals from Chris Romero and Nathaniel Cardoza put Oliver Ames up at halftime. Thomas McCormick added a third for the Tigers in the second half off an assist from sophomore Matt Alvarado. This is the first time in program history Oliver Ames has won a state title.Â

White/Blue Team, 7 vs. Gold Team, 1 – Final – Milford’s Justin Borges scored the lone goal of the first half in the 28th minute to give White a lead at the break. Nine minutes into the second half, Foxboro’s Anthony Barreira doubled the lead and just four minutes later Stoughton freshman Fabio Ponce de Leon got on the end of a cross from North Attleboro’s Matt Coscarella to make it 3-0 White. Stoughton’s Tyler Melo flicked in Barreira for his second of the game and three minutes later, Melo touched to Franklin’s Austin Kent who found Barreira for his hat trick to make it 5-0. Sharon’s Jake Goloboy and King Philip’s Cam Mullins added goals within a minute to make it 7-0. Taunton’s Austin Botelho got on the end of a scramble inside the area in the final minute to get Gold on the board. White/Blue Team, 5 vs. Gold Team, 3 – Final – North Attleboro’s Hana Caster put White up five minutes into the game but Franklin’s Victoria Stowell leveled the match in first half extra time off a free kick from Oliver Ames’ Zoe Chazan. Attleboro’s Rebekah Entwistle pushed White ahead shortly after the break but Victoria Stowell pulled it even within a minute. Mansfield’s Jen Kemp have White another lead in the 50th minute but Canton’s Sarah MacQuarrie linked up with Attleboro’s Paige Medeiros to make it 3-3. Kemp grabbed her second of the game to make it 4-3 and with 10 minutes to play, Franklin’s Alexis Stowell added a fifth goal for Gold. Milford, 2 @ Stoughton, 4 – Final – Stoughton freshman Fabio Ponce De Leon notched his first career hat trick, scoring once in the first half off an assist from Josh Mitchell and then twice in the second half, the first a header off a corner from Noah Schulze and the final goal another header. Jordan Asnes converted a penalty to give Stoughton a 1-0 lead. Stoughton head coach Aaron Salter credited Milford goalie Mike Da Silva with some outstanding saves.
Girls Soccer
Foxboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Francesca Calabraro scored on a pair of headers in the second half, the second assisted by Zoe Chazan, and Kiana Lozzi tacked on a third goal with two minutes to play. Jalisa Allen made 11 saves for the Warriors. Carolyn Will had a free kick tipped over the bar by Regan Benton in the opening minutes of the second half with the game still tied 0-0.
Franklin, 2 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – Halle Atkinson and Jess Kroushl scored the goals for Franklin and both were assisted by Alexis Stowell. Head coach Tom Geysen credited his defense for the victory, extending the team’s clean sheet streak to 11 games to start the season.
Canton, 6 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Hannah Link scored a pair of goals, the first assisted by Shannon Foley and second by Riley Duserick, to lead Canton to the win. Lauren Fitzpatrick, Julia Hamilton, Leianna Brune, and Kendra Farrelly also scored for the Bulldogs.

Mansfield, 3 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Mansfield got the sweep on the road. Juliana Newell had 14 service points, Meg Hill had 13 kills and Jess Haradon added 12 digs for the Hornets.

Stoughton, 179 @ Canton, 159 – Final – Canton senior Steve Gorham and junior Shaun Kirby led the way for the Bulldogs, each shooting 39. Senior Jim Jenkins carded a 40 and seniors Joe Peccia and Griffin Jerrier each shot 41.
Mansfield, 157 @ Oliver Ames, 141 –  Final – Ryan McGarry shot a one under 33 for the Tigers, Brian Lambert shot par at 34 and Steven Tasho carded a 35 as Oliver Ames finished the regular season undefeated. Jason Hindman shot a 38 for the Hornets.Â
