Canton, 42 vs. Randolph, 5 – Final

Boys Swimming
Foxboro, 93 @ Oliver Ames, 63 – FinalThe Warriors took first in eight of the 11 events to score a Davenport division win over Oliver Ames. Sophomore Brandon Franciosi was a double-winner, taking first in both the 500 free and 100 back while freshman Andrew Gallagher, senior Matthew Rochford, and junior Josh Netson all had individual wins. OA’s Justin Silverman won the 100 fly and Alex Gao touched first in the 100 breaststroke.

Girls Swimming
Foxboro, 70 @ Oliver Ames, 87 – Final – Foxboro won seven of the 11 events but Oliver Ames’ depth proved pivotal as the Tigers claimed the win. OA’s Ashley Powers was first in the 200 free and second in the 100 fly while Knese Betts won the 50 free and took third in the 100 free. Both Powers and Betts were apart of OA’s 200 IM relay team along wit Bridget Carr and Hannah Le. Foxboro senior Ava Gallagher won both the 200 IM (sectional qualifier) and the 100 fly (state qualifier) while Molly Lockwood was a double-winner, qualifying for sectionals in both the 500 free and 100 back.

Baseball
Canton, 2 @ Wellesley, 4 – FinalThe Raiders scored once in the first and three runs in the second to take a 4-0 lead that they never relinquished thanks to a strong pitching performance that included 10 strikeouts as a team. The Bulldogs cut the lead in half on a pair of RBI singles from Matt Casemento (3-for-3) in the third and the fifth. Owen Lehane also went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Canton, which out-hit Wellesley 6-to-4 in the loss. Canton starter Niko Donovan allowed only three hits in his three innings of work and Matt Connolly allowed only one hit in three scoreless innings of relief. Canton coach Greg Digirolamo said, “We competed hard against a good Wellesely squad today! If we continue to put in effort like that, the results will come.”

Softball
Franklin vs. Bridgewater-Raynham – Postponed to TBD.

Boys Lacrosse
Milford, 11 vs. Bellingham, 6 – FinalBrendan White had a big game for the Hawks, figuring in eight of the team’s 11 goals. He scored six times and assisted on two others. Andrew Gallagher chipped in with a pair of goals and an assist. The defense was led by Ryan Donnelson with five ground balls. Freshman Jack LeBlanc won eight face-offs and Ryan Hazard won 6-of-7 that he took.
