Attleboro, 69 @ King Philip, 44 – FinalA fire alarm midway through the third quarter at King Philip was a sign of things for come, but for the visiting Bombardiers. After a tight, back-and-forth first half, Attleboro’s offense caught fire in the second, opening with a 14-2 run and never looking back. The Bombardiers led by just two (17-15) after a quarter, and just three (31-28) going into halftime. Six players contributed to Attleboro’s 21-point third quarter with Evan Houle (nine points) and Jake Struminski (14 points) each chipping in with five, four from Colin Morais (eight points), and three from Alvin Harrison (five points). In his first game back, sophomore Neo Franco added 11 points while senior Joe Francois-Annevil spread out his career-high 17 points for the Bombardiers, who stretched the lead to 52-35 going into the fourth. Braeden Sottile led KP with 15 points while Will Laplante added 14 points.

Canton, 67 @ Sharon, 68 – Final (OT)Sharon senior John Baez turned a steal into two points, junior Matt Baur hit a key three, and sophomore Jacob McLoughlin added two free throws down the stretch as the Eagles held off Canton to clinch at least a share of the Davenport division title. After neither team scored for the first two minutes of overtime, Baez (13 points) helped off his man and poked the ball free, going uncontested for a layup with 1:51 to play. Nate Mei (15 points) answered with a baseline jumper to tie the game again but the Eagles came back down and Baur (18 points) splashed in a corner three with the shot clock winding down. Sharon got a stop but Canton forced a turnover and Lanse Dorcelus (26 points) sank a free throw to cut the deficit to two with 29 seconds left. McLoughlin (10 points) tacked on two free throws to push it back to four. Matt Chafin (15 points) hit a three as time expired to cut it back to one. Canton sent the game into overtime with a 9-0 run in the final minutes, capped by a three from Conor Hunter with nine seconds to go to tie it 61-61. Sophomore Nate Katznelson added 10 points for the Eagles, who led 11-5 after the first quarter, 27-25 at halftime, and 48-41 going into the fourth.

Oliver Ames, 53 @ Foxboro, 55 – FinalFoxboro junior Alex Penders scored a career-high 30 points, including some key free throws in the final two minutes, to help the Warriors knock off Oliver Ames and keep their division title hopes alive. OA raced out to an 18-7 lead after a quarter of play and carried a 28-23 advantage into halftime. Senior Dylan Gordon exploded for 10 of his 14 points in the third quarter and Penders added eight as the Warriors put up 20 points to jump ahead 43-42 going into the fourth. Penders extended Foxboro’s lead with free throws to 54-51 with under a minute to go. OA’s Zach Tagliamonte (11-for-13 free throws, 25 points) battled through contact to finish down low to make it a one-point game before Foxboro added a free throw from Sam Golub. Off a miss on the second free throw with 6.5 seconds, the Warriors were able to prevent the Tigers from getting a shot off before the buzzer.

Franklin, 73 @ Milford, 53 – FinalFranklin connected on seven three pointers in the second quarter alone, blowing the game wide open in a win on the road at Milford, which was the 200th career win for FHS head coach CJ Neely. The Panthers jumped out to a 17-10 lead after eight minutes but junior Geino Scaringello and freshman Caden Sullivan each hit a pair of second quarter threes while Evan DaSilva, Will Tracey, and Sean O’Leary each had one as Franklin’s lead ballooned to 43-22 by halftime. Franklin finished with 13 three-pointers in the win and had 10 players find the score sheet, let by O’Leary’s 19 points and Sean Vinson’s 10 points.

Stoughton, 50 @ North Attleboro, 61 – FinalNorth Attleboro saw its first half lead vanish in the third quarter but the Rocketeers bounced back with its best quarter of the game in the fourth, pouring in 24 points to run away with the win and a season sweep of the Black Knights. North jumped out to a 16-9 lead after a quarter as senior Casey Poirier scored nine of his team-high 25 points in the opening frame. A three from Brody Rosenberg (20 points) and a pair of buckets from Givany Carney (eight points) helped the Rocketeers take a 29-23 lead into halftime. Connor Andrews (16 points) hit a pair of threes in the third for Stoughton while Rayan Sablon (11 points) and Matt Greenspoon each hit one as Stoughton surged ahead, 38-37, going into the fourth. Poirier and Rosenberg came to life in the fourth, each attributing nine points as North pulled away with the win.

Girls Basketball
King Philip, 34 @ Attleboro, 46 – FinalAttleboro outscored the Warriors by 10 in the second half to win its third straight game and sweep the season series. The score was 19-17 heading into the locker room, but the Bombardiers had a strong 14-7 third quarter to create a cushion heading to the fourth. Behind six points from Kayla Goldrick and four from Meghan Gordon, Attleboro won the final quarter 13-10 to seal the final win. Goldrick led the Bombardiers with 14 points, including a pair of threes, and Lindsey Perry added nine. Gordon, the team’s leading scorer, was held to eight points in the win. Emily Sawyer and Maddie Paschke both finished with eight points for KP, which also got six points from Liv Lafond.

Sharon, 50 @ Canton, 70 – FinalCanton coach Jim Choquette earned his 100th career win, as the Bulldogs picked up a third straight win. Jasmine Davis had a big game in the loss, scoring 25 points and pulling down 30 rebounds. Eva Poulton added 10 points for the Eagles.

Milford, 19 @ Franklin, 80 – FinalAll 14 players scored for the Panthers, as they continued their unbeaten run. Milford stayed within seven after the first, but Franklin scored 24 points in each of the second and third quarters to take complete control. The Panthers held Milford to six points in the second half. Olivia Quinn was Franklin’s top scorer with 13 points (11 in the first half). Stefany Padula added 11, knocking down three from beyond the arc, and Katie Peterson and Sasha Tracey each finished with 10 points. Brooke Ferreira scored all of her team-high eight points in the first half and the Hawks also got three points from Erin Michelson.

Taunton, 46 @ Mansfield, 61 – FinalThe Hornets came out firing, jumping out to a 25-6 lead that they never looked back from, despite Taunton rallying in the third (winning the quarter 16-5). After Taunton cut the lead to seven going into the fourth, Mansfield scored 19 points over the final eight minutes, including six each from Abby Wager and Olivia Salisbury, to seal the victory. Wager finished with a dozen points. Kara Santos led the Hornets with 14 points, including eight in the first, and Bridget Hanley and Salisbury each scored nine. Kameron St. Pierre scored a game-high 27 points, including all 13 of Taunton’s points in the second quarter. Cali Melo added 13 for the Tigers, all in the second half.

North Attleboro, 48 @ Stoughton, 28 – FinalSummer Doherty scored a season-high 21 points and North Attleboro held the Black Knights to just two points in the third quarter to pull out the road win. It was only a three-point game after one quarter and North built the lead to 21-15 at the half, but then took the third 14-2 to break the game open. Ava McKeon added eight points and Sam Faria had six for the Rocketeers.

Boys Hockey
Attleboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – FinalOliver Ames got its second win in as many days, skating to a league win over Attleboro at Asiaf. Matt Lawson, Jack Perron, and Shaun Teehan each lit the lamp once for the Tigers, who had five players record an assist. Junior Brandon Burke made 17 saves in net to get the win.

Canton, 6 @ Smithfield (R.I.), 0 – Final

Stoughton, 50 @ Canton, 70 – FinalAfter struggling to find its shooting touch over the weekend on the road, Canton was on fire from downtown in its win over Stoughton. Canton came out hitting from three-point range right from the start with five trifectas in the first quarter, and eight by halftime, leading to a 34-27 lead at the break. The Bulldogs added four more in the third and finished with 14 made threes, and senior Lanse Dorcelus scored all of his 16 points in the second half as Canton pulled away (58-38) going into the final quarter. Matt Chafin hit on four threes and finished with 16 points, Nate Mei hit two threes and had 10 points, and a total of eight different Bulldogs made a three-pointer. Stoughton junior Rayan Sablon head a game-high 19 points.

Foxboro, 43 @ North Attleboro, 59 – FinalNorth Attleboro’s defense limited visiting Foxboro to single digits in each the second and third quarters, and the Rocketeers created separation with a big third quarter to earn the upset win. The Rocketeers took a 26-22 lead into the locker room and then limited the Warriors to seven points in the third. Meanwhile, the offense came alive for 16 points as junior Givany Carney scored six of his career-high 17 points and senior Brody Rosenberg had five of his team-high 20 points to take a 42-29 lead into the fourth quarter. North had six players contribute to its 17-point fourth quarter and went 9-for-13 from the line over the final eight minutes. Junior Alex Penders led Foxboro with 23 points while Dylan Gordon added 11 points.

King Philip, 60 @ Mansfield, 74 – FinalKing Philip exploded for 27 points in the second quarter to seize a halftime lead but Mansfield responded with over 20 points in each the third and fourth quarters to get the win. The Warriors trailed 22-10 after the opening quarter but then won the third 27-9, including a 21-0 run, to take a 37-31 lead into the locker room. Freshman Tommy Kilroy came in and scored all of his 11 points in the second to spark KP’s run. The Hornets got back on track in the third as Matt Hyland scored seven of his 15 points, sophomore Trevor Foley added five of his 18 points, and senior Andrew Slaney had five of his career-high 22 points to help the Hornets jump back in front, 52-49. Mansfield kept its foot on the pedal in the fourth with Slaney adding nine more and Foley added six while the visiting Warriors were held to 23 second half points. Will Laplante added 15 points while both Grant Kinney and Tommy Martorano added 11 points each for KP.

Oliver Ames, 64 @ Sharon, 60 – FinalOliver Ames emerged with a key division win in a close contest on the road at Sharon, splitting the season series. Neither team saw a double-digit lead as the contest stayed close throughout, OA leading leading at the end of each quarter, including a slim 37-35 lead at halftime and a 49-45 advantage going into the fourth. Junior Zach Tagliamonte led the charge for the Tigers with 25 points while CJ Williams gave the visitors a big boost with 13 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore Nate Katznelson scored a team-high 20 points while Matt Baur added 17 points.

Girls Basketball
Milford, 29 @ Attleboro, 55 – FinalAttleboro put together a strong defensive performance to put an end to a three-game losing streak. The Bombardiers held Milford to 10 or fewer points in each quarter and jumped out to a 32-10 lead by halftime to break the game open early. Meghan Gordon and Lily Routhier each scored 11 points for Attleboro, which also got eight points from Lindsey Perry and seven points from Vanessa Ellis. Maddalena Mannucci Pacini had 11 for the Hawks. Erin Michelson and Jill Araujo each scored four points in the loss.

Canton, 63 @ Stoughton, 38 – FinalCanton bounced back from a tough loss to OA on Monday but pulling out a road win just 24 hours later. Fay Gallery led the way for the Bulldogs, scoring 24 points, grabbing six boards, dishing out six assists, and recording eight steals. Kiara Cerruti added 16 points and four boards and Sydney Gallery had 12 points and eight rebounds in the win. Senior Vanessa Phelimond played well on both ends of the floor and Makaiyah Singleton Rivera was a great spark in the second half for Stoughton

North Attleboro, 38 @ Foxboro, 66 – FinalFoxboro broke the game open with 22 points in the second quarter, running out to a big win. Camryn Collins and Kailey Sullivan each scored 18 points for the Warriors, while Hannah Blake (11 points) and Erin Foley (10 points) both reached double digits as well. North was down only three after one, using a good zone defense to slow Foxboro down, but the Rocketeers struggled to keep up on the other end of the court. Summer Doherty led North in scoring with 14 points and freshman Maryellen Charette added 10.

Franklin, 59 @ Taunton, 33 – FinalTaunton was tied with Franklin late in the third quarter, but the Panthers, playing their third game in three days, caught fire in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Tigers 26-5 in the final period, to pull out the win. With the victory, Franklin clinches at least a share of the Kelley-Rex division title. Katie Peterson, Olivia Quinn, and Brigid Earley each scored seven points in the fourth to propel Franklin to the win. Peterson led all scorers with 17, while Quinn finished with 16 and Earley had 11. Stefany Padula added 10 points on three triples in the win. Kameron St. Pierre was Taunton’s top scorer with 16 points. Olivia Gannon chipped in with six points and Cali Melo had four.

Sharon, 20 @ Oliver Ames, 65 – FinalOliver Ames started off strong with a big opening quarter and never looked back in a win over Sharon, clinching at least a share of the Davenport division title. All seven of OA’s seniors had a hand in the win with Caroline Peper leading the way with 15 points. Anna Murphy had a double-double in the win with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Canton, 40 @ Foxboro, 46 – FinalFoxboro held the visiting Bulldogs to just two points in the third quarter to get back into the game and then had its best offensive quarter of the game, scoring 18 points in the fourth to earn a comeback win over Canton. The Bulldogs built a 16-6 advantage after eight minutes of action and carried a 28-19 lead into the locker room. Foxboro cut it to just two, down 30-28, going into the fourth. Canton kept the lead for the majority of the fourth, getting an early three from Jacob Solomon, and then another triple from Conor Hunter with 2:19 to play to make it 40-37. An offensive rebound from Alex Penders turned into two free throws from Dylan Gordon to make it a one-point game with just under two minutes to go. Ryan LeClair forced a turnover and Gordon sank a corner three with 1:08 to go to put the Warriors ahead for the first time all half, 42-40. LeClair forced another turnover and Penders sank two free throws with 31 seconds to go and the Warriors ended with back-to-back stops. Gordon had 15 of his team-high 20 points in the second half while Penders scored 10 of his 12 points after the break. Lanse Dorcelus had a team-high 12 points while Matt Chafin added nine points.

King Philip, 46 @ Franklin, 69 – FinalAfter giving up 16 points in the opening quarter, Franklin’s defense limited the visiting Warriors to 11 points or less in each of the next three quarters on its way to a win. Franklin also got off to a good start offensively with 22 points in the opening quarter. The Panthers extended the lead in each of the next three frames, pushing it to seven at halftime (32-25) and a 15-point cushion (51-36) going into the fourth. Sophomore Henry Digiorgio hit a trio of trifectas on his way to a game-high 19 points while Sean O’Leary (11 points) and Sean Vinson (10 points) each hit two three-pointers and finished in double figures. Sophomore Andrew O’Neill scored seven of his eight in the third to help the Panthers pull away. Tommy Martorano led King Philip, scoring all of his team-high 12 points in the first quarter.

Taunton, 83 @ Milford, 41 – FinalTaunton scored 18 or more points in each of the four quarters and had four players in double-figures in its road win over Milford. Sophomore Troy Santos hit a pair of first quarter threes to help the Tigers jump out to a 20-6 lead after a quarter of play and then senior Tristan Herry scored nine of his 15 points in the second as Taunton established a 38-17 lead at halftime. Trent Santos Scored 16 of his game-high 18 points in the second half, Faisal Mass finished with 17 points, and sophomore Cyrus Morrisette finished with a career-high 13 points for the Tigers, who hit 32 shots from the field.

Oliver Ames, 65 @ North Attleboro, 42 – FinalOliver Ames junior Zach Tagliamonte continued his hot streak on the offensive end, dropping a game-high 28 points to help the Tigers earn a big win on the road over North Attleboro. Tagliamonte his one three in the first and fourth quarters and hit a pair in both the second and third quarters, hitting a total of 11 shots from the floor to pace the Tigers. After OA took a slight lead after the first quarter (14-12), the Tigers erupted for 22 points in the second to take control of the game. Tagliamonte had eight points and freshman Cole Craffey had seven of his 12 points to help OA grab a 36-21 lead at halftime. The Tigers carried the momentum into the second half, scoring 17 points in the third to push the advantage to 53-32 going into the fourth. Brody Rosenberg led North with 10 points while Casey Poirier had nine.

Stoughton, 81 @ Sharon, 52 – FinalStoughton freshman Matt Greenspoon poured in a career-high 24 points, hitting five three-pointers, and the Black Knights had their best offensive showing of the season in a big win on the road over Sharon. Without leading scorer Connor Andrews due to injury, Greenspoon stepped in and scored 18 of his points after the halftime break to help Stoughton stay ahead from start to finish. Greenspoon hit a pair of threes and Rayan Sablon (20 points), Cash Mathurin, Konrad Rogers, and Jayden Costa Heyward each scored to help Stoughton grab a 22-13 lead after one. Josh Rivera, Sablon, and Costa Heyward each hit threes in the second and then Stoughton hit a trio of threes early in the third quarter, turning a 37-17 halftime lead into a 59-37 lead going into the fourth quarter. Sophomore Nate Katznelson had a team-high 13 points for the Eagles.

Girls Basketball
Attleboro, 54 @ Mansfield, 42 – FinalMeghan Gordon scored 26 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter alone, to power the Bombardiers to an eighth straight win. Attleboro started well, holding the Hornets to just five points in the second and took a 28-15 lead into halftime. Mansfield battled back in the third to cut the lead to seven, but then Gordon caught fire in the fourth and Attleboro outscored the Hornets 17-12 over the final eight minutes to seal the win. Riley Camacho scored 11 for the Bombardiers. Kara Santos was Mansfield’s top scorer with 17 and Abby Wager finished with 15, including 12 in the second half.

Foxboro, 79 @ Canton, 73 – Final (OT)After Canton came roaring back with a big fourth quarter to force overtime, Foxboro scored 15 points in the OT period to pull out the win. Camryn Collins and Kayleigh Sullivan scored 25 points apiece and combined for all 15 in the extra frame. Collins scored 18 of her 25 in the fourth quarter and OT. The Warriors led by 11 heading into the fourth, but Canton’s offense came alive as the Bulldogs scored 25 points to level the score. Fay Gallery led all scorers with 27 for the Bulldogs, including 10 points in the fourth. Kiara Cerruti scored 19, all in the second half, and is now at 999 career points. Sydney Gallery chipped in with 13, seven of those in the fourth quarter. Hannah Blake scored 13 points and Ava Hill had 10 in the win.

Franklin, 48 @ King Philip, 21 – FinalFranklin was held to its lowest points total of the season, but the Panthers locked down on defense, not allowing KP to score more than nine points in a quarter, to stay unbeaten. The Warriors led 6-3 after the first, but the Panthers held KP to three in the second and went into the locker room leading 15-9. Franklin outscored the Warriors 33-12 in the second half to pull out the win. Katie Peterson led all scorers with 14, including eight in the second quarter. Olivia Quinn scored eight and Stefany Padula had seven for the visitors. KP was led by Liv Lafond’s seven points and Elizabeth Molla had four.

North Attleboro, 32 @ Oliver Ames, 45 – FinalOA continued its win streak with a strong defensive effort, holding North to 20 points through the first three quarters. OA led by two, 12-10, after the first quarter but pushed the lead to 23-15 by halftime and then ran away with the win. Sophomores Jasmyn Cooper (12 rebounds) and Sarah Hilliard each scored 12 points apiece for OA. Ava McKeon was the top scorer for the Rocketeers with 16 points and freshman Maryellen Charette added five.

Sharon, 34 @ Stoughton, 38 – FinalStoughton held off the Eagles down the stretch to secure its first win of the season. Senior Evie Lam led the charge offensively with a team-high 12 points while sophomore Katrina Varnum sank some clutch free throws down the stretch, finishing with eight points. Alyssa Edwards and Vanessa Phelimond each hauled in seven rebounds for Stoughton. Rachael Hager scored 13 and Jasmine Davis added 12 points for the Eagles.

Boys Hockey
Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 1 – FinalOliver Ames grabbed its second road win in a three-day span, snagging a 3-1 win over the Bombardiers. Freshman Shaun Teehan opened the scoring while sophomore Jack Corey and senior Elliot Cohen each found the back of the net as well. Landon Grothe, Dan Paul, and Corey each had an assist while Brandon Burke made 23 saves for the win.

Taunton, 4 @ Apponequet, 1 – FinalTaunton senior Loran Corcoran scored a hat trick to lead the Tigers to a win on the road over Apponequet in the first of three meetings between the two teams this year. Sophomore Conner Goranson added the other goal while junior Connor McGrath and freshman Jonathan McGrath each had a pair of assists. Freshman Cam Tomaszycki recored 29 saves to get the win in net for Taunton.

The Bombardiers scored over 20 points in three of the four quarters, racing out to a 24-9 lead after one period. Attleboro carried a 38-25 lead into the locker room at halftime, and then White added 10 more points in the third, hitting a total of four three-pointers. Evan Houle added a trio of three-pointers on his way to 19 points while sophomore Neo Franco had one three and finished with nine points. Joe Francois-Annevil hit four shots from the field and finished with 11 points for the hosts, who carried a 61-44 lead into the final frame. Stoughton senior Connor Andrews went 12-for-13 at the line and hit nine shots from the field for a career-high 31 points while junior Rayan Sablon added 13 points for the Black Knights, who were limited to just five three-pointers.

Dorcelus had a team-high 15 points going into the final frame, with his squad holding a 45-38 advantage. He hit a three early, added three field goals from two-point range, and then went 6-for-7 from the line to help secure the win. Nate Mei added four of his 10 points in the fourth while senior Dillon Nguyen scored all 11 of his point through the first three quarters. King Philip, who was tied with the visitors 26-26 at halftime, got a team-high 16 points from Braeden Sottile while classmate Danny Clancy added 14 points for the Warriors, who ended up with just five three-pointers and went just 5-for-12 from the free throw line.

Foxboro, 53 @ Franklin, 78 – FinalFranklin opened the game with a big run, established a double-digit advantage by halftime, and never looked back in a win over visiting Foxboro. A strong start led to a 19-point first quarter for the hosts with Will Tracey (eight points) and Andrew O’Neill (12 points) each connecting from deep, and sophomore Sean O’Leary accounting for six of his 10 points. Sophomore Henry Digiorgio (16 points) hit a trio of threes in the second as Franklin took a 35-23 lead into the locker room. Tracey and classmate Sean Vinson (14 points) added threes in the third and O’Neill had seven more points to keep the Panthers ahead, leading 59-38 going into the fourth. Foxboro senior Dylan Gordon had a team-high 12 points while Sam Golub added 10 points for the Warriors.

Sharon, 48 @ Mansfield, 69 – FinalMansfield’s lead grew at the end of each quarter, culminating in a 23-point fourth quarter to secure a 69-48 win over Sharon, snapping the Eagles’ five-game win streak. Senior Andrew Slaney (11 points), senior Jack Lasbury-Casey (eight points), and junior Dante James (six points) each connected from three-point range to help the hosts build a 12-8 lead at the end of the opening quarter. The lead grew to 27-20 by halftime and then a 19-point third quarter, featuring buckets from Caden Colby, Trevor Foley, and Anthony Sachetti, helped the Hornets push the lead to 40-30 heading into the final frame. Senior Matt Hyland put the game away, scoring 11 of his game-high 25 points in the final frame to help Mansfield pull away. Sophomore Nate Katznelson had a team-high 14 points while junior Matt Baur added all 12 of his points in the second half for the Eagles, who ended up connecting on just one three-pointer coming in the third quarter.

Oliver Ames, 56 @ Taunton, 86 – FinalIt was a game to remember for senior Trent Santos, leading Taunton to a big win at home over visiting Oliver Ames. Santos etched his name into the record books, connecting on 11 three-pointers on his way to a career-high 46 points. After just five points in the opening quarter, Trent took center stage. He hit five three-pointers in the second quarter alone, adding five free throws as well for 25 points in the first half, helping his Tigers to a 42-30 lead. The three-point barrage continued after halftime as Trent hit three more in the third quarter and two more in the fourth to get to 46 points. Taunton held an 18-10 lead after one quarter and a 60-43 edge after three quarters of action. Sophomore Troy Santos had a career-high 15 points while senior Faisal Mass added 11 points. Oliver Ames junior Zach Tagliamonte hit 11 shots from the field to finish with a team-high 25 points while senior Drew Baxter added 11 points.

Girls Basketball
Attleboro, 70 @ Stoughton, 27 – FinalAttleboro’s offense continues to fire on all cylinders, as the Bombardier scored 40 points in the first half to take a big lead that it wouldn’t relinquish. The Bombardiers jumped out to a 20-2 lead after the first quarter and then added another 20 in the second to go into the break up 40-15. Attleboro continued its strong defense in the second half, holding the Black Knights to just 12 points after the break. Meghan Gordon led all scorers with 14 and Lindsey Perry added 12. Kayla Goldrick scored eight, while Lilian Froio and Vanessa Ellis each had seven for Attleboro, which got points from each player on the roster. Vanessa Phelimond and Evie Lam each had five to lead Stoughton.

Franklin, 51 @ Foxboro, 47 – FinalFranklin’s unbeaten run nearly came to an end at Foxboro, but the Panthers rallied from three points down with two minutes to play to remain in first place in the Kelley-Rex. After Foxboro took a one-point lead after the first, Franklin scored 20 in the second to take a 29-24 lead into the locker room. The Warriors won the third to send the game into the final quarter tied. Camryn Collins had a career-high 21 points, including 10 in the third quarter, to lead all scorers. Erin Foley added 13 and knocked down four threes, while Hannah Blake scored all seven of her points in the fourth to help Foxboro take a late lead. Stefany Padula scored eight of her 12 points in the fourth, making 6-of-8 from the line, to help Franklin pull out the win. Katie Peterson and Olivia Quinn each scored 11 points in the win, with 19 of their combined 22 coming in the opening half.

Mansfield, 58 @ Sharon, 29 – FinalMansfield clamped down defensively in the second half, limiting Sharon to just nine points and turning a close game into a big win. The Hornets led 28-20 heading into the locker room, but came out with a 19-4 third quarter to break the game wide open. Kara Santos scored eight of her 12 points in that third quarter run and Hallie Popat added four of her dozen points to lead Mansfield. Abby Wager chipped in with 10 points, eight in the first half, and Anna Darlington scored all eight of her points before halftime. Rachael Hager led the Eagles with 12 points, all coming on threes in the first half, as she scored 12 of Sharon’s 20 before the break. Jasmine Davis added eight points, scoring a basket in each quarter.

Milford, 41 @ North Attleboro, 30 – FinalMilford made its free throws down the stretch and limited North to just five points in the fourth quarter to pick up its first league win of the season. Jill Araujo and Maddalena Mannucci Pacini each scored 11 points to lead the Hawks. Summer Doherty scored a game-high 15 for the Rocketeers. Milford led 22-17 at halftime but North cut the lead to just two by holding the Hawks to three points in the third. The Hawks turned the tables in the fourth, outscoring the hosts 14-5 over the final eight minutes.

Taunton, 44 @ Oliver Ames, 86 – FinalOliver Ames scored 53 points in the second half, turning a six-point game into a big win. Taunton made a game of it, keeping close with the hosts and trailed 33-27 at the break. OA got on track in the third and pulled away for the big win. OA senior Caroline Peper led all scorers with 22 points along with five assists while sophomores Kaydance Derba (19 points) and Jasmyn Cooper (13 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists) both had big games for the hosts. Kameron St. Pierre continued her strong season for the Tigers, scoring a team-high 17 points. Abby Souza added 14 points and Cali Melo scored nine in the loss.

Rudolph was first with a score of 37.4 and White was right behind at 36.4. Rudolph was first in the bars (8.85) and the beam (9.5) while taking second in the vault (9.6) and the floor (9.45). White was the winner for the vault (9.7) and the floor (9.7), taking second on the beam (9.0), and fourth on the bars at 8.0. Lizzie Brown added a third place finish on the vault (9.2), Elizabeth Schirduan was third on the bars (8.2) and the beam (9.0), Emma Nelson recorded a 9.0 on the vault and a 8.4. on the bars, and Caroline Woelfel scored key points in the vault (9.1), the beam (8.9), and the floor (8.85).

The Tigers opened with a 10-0 to start the game and pulled away anytime the Bombardiers closed the game. Taunton led 19-8 after a quarter and then pushed the lead to 35-25, closing the first half on a 10-3 run. In the third, Attleboro made it a possession game at 45-40 but Trent Santos (22 points) capped a quick 7-0 burst with a four-point play to give Taunton a 52-40 advantage going into the fourth. The Tigers closed with their best offensive quarter of the game (19 points) to run away with the win. Senior Jordan Costa scored 18 of his career-high 23 points in the second half to keep the hosts ahead throughout the game. Tristan Herry chipped in 10 points while Faisal Mass had eight points, all in the first half. Seniors Evan Houle and Colin Morais each scored 12 points for the Bombardiers while sophomore Neo Franco added eight points.

Canton, 46 @ North Attleboro, 39 – FinalCanton scored 18 points in the opening quarter to establish a lead that it held onto the rest of the way in a win on the road at North Attleboro. The Rocketeers responded with 13 points in the second to make it a close game by halftime (28-23) but the Bulldogs limited the hosts to just five points in the third to push the lead to double-digits (38-28) going into the fourth. North rallied to get within a possession in the final frame but Canton secured the win with successful free throw shooting. Senior Lanse Dorcelus scored a team-high 14 points, including all nine of Canton’s second quarter points, while Matt Chafin added 12 points and Nate Mei had nine points. North senior Casey Poirier netted a career-high 22 points while Gavin Wells chipped in with seven.

Foxboro, 55 @ Sharon, 68 – FinalSharon dropped 20 points in the opening quarter capped by a halfcourt shot at the buzzer, and then added a 22-point third quarter to create the separation it needed to record a key win over division foe Foxboro. Matt Baur scored 10 of his 17 points between the first and the third, swishing a halfcourt heave just before the buzzer in the first as the Eagles established a 20-14 lead early. Sophomore Nate Katznelson added 12 of his 16 between the first and third, and sophomore Jacob McLoughlin had all 11 points in those two periods for the Eagles, who turned a 31-24 halftime lead into a 53-39 advantage going into the final quarter. Foxboro junior Alex Penders scored 23 of his career-high 25 points in the first three quarters while senior Dylan Gordon added 11 points for the Warriors, who hit three of its their seven threes in the final quarter.

Milford, 78 @ King Philip, 85 – Final (OT)King Philip senior Danny Clancy scored off of an inbounds pass with six seconds to go to send the game into overtime and the Warriors outscored the Hawks 8-1 in the extra period to get the win. KP exploded for 24 points in the third quarter to erase an eight-point halftime deficit, knotting the score at 55. Both squads scored 22 points in the fourth with KP going 10-for-12 from the free throw line in the fourth. KP finished the game 23-for-39 from the line while Milford was 14-for-22 for the game. Braeden Sottile scored six of his 10 points in overtime while Will Laplante had 10 of his team-high 23 points in the fourth quarter for KP, which trailed 16-12 at the end of the first and 39-31 at halftime. Tommy Martorano finished with 20 points while Clancy had 17 points in the win. Wyatt Zagami dropped a career-high 24 points for the Hawks, hitting a trio of threes in the fourth quarter for 13 of his points. Jake Soares also hit a pair of threes in the fourth, finishing with a career-high 19 points.

Oliver Ames, 72 @ Stoughton, 79 – Final Stoughton poured in 27 points in the second quarter to build a double-digit lead by halftime, and then held off a flurry of points in the fourth from Oliver Ames to get the win. The Black Knights turned a 12-10 lead after eight minutes into a 38-24 advantage at halftime, and pushed the lead to 20 points (61-41) going into the fourth. Junior Rayan Sablon scored a career-high 25 points, hitting a pair of threes, three two-point field goals, and went 13-for-13 at the free throw line to lead the Black Knights. Senior Connor Andrews scored seven of his 16 points in the second and freshman Matthew Greenspoon (15 points) hit three of his five three-pointers in the second to help the Knights establish their lead. Sophomore Liam Pearl added 10 points in the win. Oliver Ames’ Zach Tagliamonte scored 15 points in the fourth quarter and finished with a career-high 36 points to lead the Tigers. Drew Baxter added 11 points and freshman Cole Craffey finished with 10 points, all in the second half.

Taunton, 44 @ Attleboro, 65 – FinalAttleboro got off to a fast start, leading by 15 at halftime, and never looked back to win for the third time this week. All three wins were by double digits. Meghan Gordon continued her torrid week with a game-high 31 points. She scored 11 of Attleboro’s 19 in the second quarter and 10 of the Bombardiers’ 15 in the third to help build the lead up to 18 points. Lindsey Perry added 14 points in the win, including a pair from downtown. Kameron St. Pierre scored a team-high 21 for Taunton, knocking down three triples and scoring eight points in the fourth quarter. Cali Melo scored eight, all in the second half, and Emily Gannon added six for the Tigers.

North Attleboro, 45 @ Canton, 80 – FinalCanton got off to a great start, leading 21-7 at the end of the first quarter and extending that lead to 27 by halftime. The Bulldogs used a strong press to force 13 turnovers in the first half and quickly converted those into points on the other end. Fay Gallery scored a career-high 27 points, knocking down seven threes. She also dished out eight assists, grabbed seven rebounds, and had six steals. Kiara Cerruti nearly matched Gallery, adding 26 points and five steals. Sydney Gallery scored 11 points and had five assists, Samya DaSilva had five points and five boards, and Emily McCabe finished with four points, five rebounds, and three steals. North improved offensively in the second half, scoring 31 points after the break. Summer Doherty scored a team-high 13 points, while Ava McKeon and freshman Sam Faria each scored eight.

Sharon, 27 @ Foxboro, 70 – FinalTen players got on the score sheet for the Warriors as they bounced back with a big win at home. Freshman Kailey Sullivan knocked down three from beyond the arc and scored a career-high 19 points in the win. Camryn Collins added a dozen for Foxboro.

Mansfield, 33 @ Franklin, 60 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this game. Franklin hadn’t played in nearly a month, so it took a while for the Panthers to get going, but they then went on a 22-0 run between the second and third quarters to grab hold of the game and stay perfect on the season. Olivia Quinn (four rebounds and three assists) and Stefany Padula (four steals and two blocks) each scored 14 points to lead the Panthers and combined to knock down five threes. Katie Peterson added 12 points, three assists, and a pair of blocks, while Brigid Earley scored nine points. The Hornets were shorthanded with several players out and several just making their return. Abby Wager came off the bench to score a team-high 12 points, all in the second half, and Olivia Salisbury added six points and five rebounds. Rose Maher had six points and eight boards, while Bridget Hanley scored three points but also chipped in with eight rebounds, three steals, and four assists.

King Philip, 57 @ Milford, 49 – FinalMilford led by two after one, but KP grabbed the lead in the second quarter and then extended it to double digits heading into the final eight minutes to earn its second close win of the week. Jackie Bonner led three scorers in double digits for the Warriors, finishing with 16 points on four three-pointers. Julia Marsden (15 points) and Emily Sawyer (13) also had big nights for KP. Maddalena Mannucci Pacini led all scorers with 18 and Emily Croteau added 10 points for the Hawks. Maeve Driscoll and Brooke Ferreira each chipped in with six in the loss.

Stoughton, 25 @ Oliver Ames, 66 – Final Oliver Ames took control right from the opening tip and secured its second big win in as many days over division rivals. After a big win over Sharon on Thursday, the Tigers raced out to a 39-10 halftime advantage on Friday night against the Black Knights. Caroline Peper netted a team-high 16 points and recorded five steals, sophomore Jasmyn Cooper added 10 points and nine boards, and Hailey Bourne gave OA a big boost with nine points and four steals. Seniors Jess Maddalena and Evie Lam combined for 14 points for the Black Knights.

Senior Will Hippler, junior Matt Baur, and sophomores Nate Katznelson and Jacob McLaughlin all connected from three-point range in the opening eight minutes as the Eagles shot nearly 60% from the field to establish a 22-11 lead. Katzneslon, McLaughlin and junior Jack Bates each added a three in the second for the Eagles, who hit seven of their 12 threes in the first half. Baur finished with a team-high 16 points and five rebounds to lead the way for Sharon, who held a 37-25 lead at half and a 55-35 lead going into the fourth quarter. Katznelson added 15 points and eight rebounds, McLaughlin finished with 13 points and five assists, and senior John Baez had eight points, five assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Zach Tagliamonte led OA with a game-high 17 points and five rebounds while senior Drew Baxter and freshman Cole Craffey each had 10 points.

Boys Hockey
Mansfield, 4 @ Attleboro, 0 – FinalMansfield exploded for four goals in the second period to skate away with a league win over Attleboro. Senior Dillon Benoit scored a pair of goals for the second straight game, senior Ryan Doherty added one, and freshman Matt Tourigney scored his first career goal. The Hornets went a perfect 3-for-3 on the penalty kill, improving to 9-for-9 on the kill in league games this year.

Canton, 2 @ Franklin, 1 – Final – Canton sophomore Brian Middleton scored the game-winning goal with just over three minutes left in the third period to help the Bulldogs avenge its loss to Franklin from earlier this season, this one in league action.

North Attleboro, 2 @ King Philip, 2 – Final

Taunton, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – FinalSophomore Andrew Livingstone scored twice and junior Brandon Burke recorded 30 saves to help Oliver Ames edge out Taunton. Junior Noah Isleib scored his first career goal while sophomore Jack Corey scored once. Junior Sean McCarthy recorded two assists while junior Jack Perron, sophomores Matt Lawson and Jake Cunningham, and freshman Patrick DeLoughrey each had one assist.

Stoughton vs. Cardinal Spellman, 0 – FinalFour different players lit the lamp as Stoughton skated to a shutout win over Cardinal Spellman. Aidan Obrock, Joe McNulty, Colin Alessi and Sean Farley each scored once for the Black Knights while Chris Andrade posted the shutout in goal.

Franklin, 2 vs. Dedham, 1 – FinalFranklin picked up its second win over Dedham in the past two weeks, this time with a 2-1 decision in regulation. Julia Flynn and Shaw Downing (from Maggie McCaffrey) scored for the Panthers while Izzy Brown had a great game in net to earn the win.

Stoughton/Sharon, 2 vs. Old Rochester, 8 – FinalMolly Corvino and Zoe Bangs each scored for the Black Knights while Ava Buckley registered an assist on each goal but Stoughton fell to Old Rochester.

Wrestling
Canton, 24 @ Silver Lake, 51 – FinalAll four of Canton’s wins on the day were by pinfall, each earning six points but the Bulldogs fell on the road to Silver Lake. Yurii Leskiv (113, 2:14), Max Kupferman (126, 0:34), Cillian Collins (182, 1:52), and Ruairi Ritson (195, 4:28) each won for Canton.

Panther Invitational (Foxboro, King Philip), 10:00 (@ Whitman-Hanson) – King Philip had five finalists and two individual champions to take first place in the Panther Invitational held at Whitman-Hanson. The Warriors had a total of 140.5 points while second place Milton had 131 points. Foxboro had 47 points. Hunter Hastings won all three of his matches by pinfall, including the 195-pound championship with a fall in 1:52 in the championship round. After a bye in the first round, heavyweight Dan Nineve won the semifinal by pin in 1:37 and then took the championship with a pin in 3:24. Sam Debaggis (126), Colby Cloutier (152), and William Conniff (170) each finished second for the Warriors while Lodan Wells (120) took third and Michael Gorman (145) took fourth. Foxboro’s Maxwell Kornbluth (160) and Ryan Addeche (170) finished third while Adam Addeche (120) and Sebastian Zerpa Aguilar (285) finished fourth.

Norton Quad (Mansfield, Taunton) – Taunton senior captain Christian Balmain became just the second wrestler in program history to reach 100 wins and the Tigers went 3-0 on the day at the Norton Quad, beating the host Lancers (50-24), Mansfield (61-15), and Quabbin (72-12). Balmain, who wrestles at 152, earned a forfeit win, a major decision (12-4) over Norton, and a pinfall in 1:20 against Mansfield. Michael Leskoski (106), Xavier Sandoval (138), Ethan Harris (182), Avery Justa (195) also went 3-0 on the day while Ryan Jones (113), Brandon Mendes (126), Anthony Vieira (132), Ben Mandeville (145), John Mandeville (160), Charlie Rabel (170), Peter Ye (220), and Robert Tran (285) each won twice.

St. John’s Prep Super Quad (North Attleboro) – North Attleboro picked up three wins on the day, pinning down victories over Bridgewater-Raynham (42-36), Marblehead/Swampscott (55-24), and Beverly (51-24). Three Rocketeers won all three of their matches with Braxton Ferro (132) and Christopher Galligan (138) each grabbing three pinfalls and Jaad Ismail (170) had two pins and one decision. Tanner Ferguson (120), Tyler Tobias (126), Masen Oyola (145), Benjamin Lodi (160), Greg Berthiaume (182), Austin Dean (195), and Keysun Wise (285) each won twice for North.

Sharon Quad (Sharon) – Sharon picked up three wins at home, beating Belmont (57-24), Concord-Carlisle (48-27), and Catholic Memorial (54-18). Vehnil Rangaraman, Adam Landstein, Cam Birnbaum, Nick Varvak, Aaron Cashton, Philip Varvak, and Cormac Horlbogen all went undefeated for the Eagles on the day.

The Panthers trailed after one (12-9) but took a one-point lead (20-19) into halftime, and a four-point lead (37-33) into the final quarter. Sophomore Henry Digiorgio scored six of his game-high 22 points in the final quarter and senior Sean Vinson added seven of his 12 points in the fourth. Franklin hit 12 three-pointers on the day, with Digiorgio sinking five, Vinson and Andrew O’Neill each with two, and Ben Harvey, Justin Allen, and Sean O’Leary all adding one.

Sharon, 65 vs. Waltham, 50 – FinalSharon tightened it up defensively in the fourth and turned it on offensively in the same frame to pull away from Waltham to claim the Clocker Classic Championship. The Eagles were locked in a tight battle with Waltham, leading slightly after one (15-12) and three (40-38), and tied at halftime (25-25). Sophomore Nate Katznelson delivered a career-high 21 points, scoring 14 in the second half. Sophomore Jacob McLaughlin added a career-high 14 points, half coming in the third quarter, and senior Matt Baur finished strong with 11 of his 16 points coming in Sharon’s decisive 25-point fourth quarter.

Girls Basketball
King Philip, 51 vs. Chicopee, 57 – FinalKP fell behind by eight points after the first quarter and couldn’t catch Chicopee Comp to lose for the first time this season. The Warriors struggled to contain Chicopee’s top scorers Yamirelis Natos (19 points) and Nicole Rodriguez (game-high 20 points, including four threes). After Chicopee took the first 18-10, KP rallied to cut the lead in half by the break. In the third quarter, Chicopee extended the lead back to seven. The fourth quarter was a shootout, as KP scored 19 points in an attempt to come from behind, but Rodriguez scored nine of Chicopee’s 18 to hold off the Warriors. Emily Sawyer scored a team-high 17 points, including nine in the second quarter. Liv Lafond added 15, 12 of them coming in the second half, and Jackie Bonner scored 10, knocking down three from the outside. The trio combined for 17 of KP’s 19 points during the fourth quarter.

North Attleboro, 42 vs. Durfee, 44 – FinalDurfee grabbed an offensive rebound and scored as time expired to pull out the win in the final of Taunton’s holiday tournament. Even with leading scorer Summer Doherty limited with two early fouls, North went into halftime down just 22-20. The Rocketeers never trailed by more than five points after the break. Sam Sweeney knocked down a big three with 1:15 left to play that cut the Durfee lead down to two. After a big defensive stop, Katie Corsetti was fouled going to the basket and hit both free throws to tie the game. Ava McKeon and Taylor McMath both led the Rocketeers with eight points apiece, and McMath also added eight offensive rebounds. Sweeney and Doherty each finished with seven points and Doherty was named to the all-tournament team.

Taunton, 34 vs. Holliston, 37 – FinalAfter scoring only eight points in the opening half, Taunton rallied after halftime to close the gap and nearly pull off a come from behind win in the consolation round of its holiday tournament. Jillian Doherty scored four of Taunton’s eight points before the break. The Tigers then came out in the third quarter and scored 15 as a team, adding 11 more in the fourth. A day after scoring 28 against Durfee, Kameron St. Pierre took a little while to get going against the Panthers but exploded for 11 of her team-high 13 points in the second half to help with the comeback. Sophomore Lyndsey Dennett recorded the assist on the game-winner, setting up Flynn for her goal. Junior Dana Stott scored the other goal for Franklin while Izzy Brown had a strong game in net.

King Philip, 66 vs. New Bedford, 63 – FinalKing Philip junior Tommy Martorano hit six fourth quarter free throws to cap off a career-best 36-point performance to lead the Warriors to a win over New Bedford in Randolph’s Blue Devil Holiday Tournament. Without leading scorers Will Laplante and Danny Clancy in the lineup, Martorano took advantage of his opportunity. He came out of the gates flying with 10 point sin the opening quarter and had 23 by halftime as KP established a 46-28 lead by the break. New Bedford cut into the lead in the third and then came out flying in the fourth, getting it down to one-possession a handful of times in the final minutes but Martorano kept the Warriors ahead with shots from the line. Senior Braeden Sottile added 10 points for KP, who will take on host Randolph in the tournament final on Thursday at 6:30.

Oliver Ames, 61 vs. Dighton-Rehoboth, 39 – FinalOliver Ames exploded for 26 points in the third quarter, turning a close game at halftime (25-19) into a comfortable victory over Dighton-Rehoboth in the opening round of the Muscato Holiday Tournament. MJ Jean-Baptiste scored eight of his career-high 14 points in the big third quarter for the Tigers, who had six players contribute to the 26-point frame. Zach Tagliamonte added four of his 11 points in the frame and Drew Baxter scored five of his nine.

Sharon, 68 vs. Fitchburg, 64 – Final (OT)Sharon saw its eight-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter disappear over the final eight minutes but senior John Baez went 6-for-6 at the line in the overtime period to help the Eagles outlast Fitchburg. Baez finished with a career-high 16 points, going 8-for-8 from the line and hitting four shots from the field. Sharon’s bench had a big showing, helping the Eagles rally from a first half deficit. Junior Tyler Goodman led the charge off the bench with 10 points, Jacob McLaughlin added eight points, Nate Katznelson chipped in with six points and five boards, and Nate Yaffe had a key three in the first half. Sharon will take on Waltham on Wednesday night at 7:00 in the finals of the Ashland Clocker Classic.

Girls Basketball
Attleboro, 41 vs. Bishop Feehan, 78 – FinalClick here for a Photo Gallery from this game. Attleboro faced it third state title contender in its opening five games and the Bombardiers struggled to contain Feehan’s balanced offensive attack. Eight different players scored for the Shamrocks, including three in double digits, and Feehan 20 or more points in each of the first three quarters to pick up the win. Meghan Gordon led the Bombardiers with 15, including seven in the fourth quarter, and Lily Routhier added nine. Lindsey Perry scored all seven of her points in the second half, as Attleboro scored in double digits as a team in three of the four quarters, despite Feehan’s tough pressure defense.

Foxboro, 53 @ Needham, 47 – Final Hannah Blake led all scorers with 21 points to help the Warriors win a third straight game and pick up an impressive non-league road victory. Freshman Kailey Sullivan hit double digits for the third straight game, adding 14 in the win.

Mansfield, 42 vs. Westwood, 43 – FinalDespite having junior Abby Wager leave with an injury midway through the third quarter, Mansfield battled Westwood to the final minutes in a game that was back-and-forth throughout. The Hornets had a one-point lead after one, but the Wolverines tied the game at halftime. Westwood won the third quarter 10-9, and held onto that advantage to the end. Kara Santos was the top scorer for the Hornets with seven points, including seven in the first half. Wager scored nine before her injury and Rose Maher and Bridget Hanley each had five. Mansfield will face Fontbonne in the consolation round of the Hearts for Hope Tournament on Thursday at 5:30.

Oliver Ames, 61 vs. Walpole, 37 – FinalOliver Ames built a double-digit lead by halftime and went on to turn it into a blowout win over Walpole. The Tigers, limited to just seven players in uniform, played with a lot of discipline to only have two fouls in the first. Senior Caroline Peper led the way with 19 points, four blocks, and four steals while Jasmyn Cooper added 16 points (8-for-8 free throw) and 12 rebounds in the win.

Taunton, 53 vs. Durfee, 59 – FinalKameron St. Pierre scored a game-high 28 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Tigers in the first round of their holiday tournament. Taunton went into the break down by just four, 31-27, after St. Pierre beat the buzzer with a near half-court three. She finished the first half with 18 of her team’s 27 points. St. Pierre added 10 more in the second half, including six from the line. Braeley MacDonald chipped in with a pair of threes and eight points in the second half. Durfee’s MacKenzie Carreiro scored 16 of her team-high 23 in the second half to help the Hilltoppers hold on and advance to face North Attleboro in Wednesday’s final. Taunton will face Holliston in the consolation round.

North Attleboro, 41 vs. Holliston, 38 – FinalThe Rocketeers locked down on defense, using an effective 1-2-2 press to keep Holliston’s bigs from getting touches, and earned a win in the first round of the Taunton holiday tournament. North led 16-5 after one quarter, went into halftime up by nine and was able to hold off the Panthers in the second half to reach the final. Summer Doherty gave North an offensive spark, scoring 10 of her 19 points in the opening half. Taylor McMath added eight points for the Rocketeers, who missed some chances to put the game away at the line but continued to grind on defense to keep the lead. North will face Durfee in the final on Wednesday at 7:00.

Milford, 40 vs. Norwell, 60 – Final

The Bulldogs got off to a tough start to the game, falling behind 21-8 after one quarter and never fully recovered to lose to a fellow D2 tournament contender. Hingham’s pressure defense caused Canton problems early, but Sydney Gallery knocked down a pair of threes, scoring half of her 12 points in the first. The Bulldogs played better defensively in the second, holding the Harborwomen to just seven points and cutting the lead to single digits at halftime. Erin Beatty provided a spark off the bench, grabbing double digit rebounds and hitting a three in the second. Kiara Cerruti (11 points) scored four and Fay Gallery (12 points) added a three in the second. Cerruti added four more in the third, but Hingham extended its lead by one heading to the fourth. Canton put together a fourth quarter rally that cut the lead to just three (40-37), but the visitors went on a quick 11-2 burst that put the game away. Fay Gallery added a pair of threes in the fourth.

Boys Hockey
Foxboro, 5 vs. Old Rochester, 4 – FinalTied after each the first (1-1) and second periods (3-3), Foxboro won the third period to beat Old Rochester. Jack Watts factored into each goal for the Warriors, scoring twice and assisting on all three of the others. Matt Grace scored twice, Alex Coviello lit the lamp once, and both Tom Marcucella and Brady Callahan had an assist. Josh Marcoux recorded the win in net.

Taunton, 28 @ North Attleboro, 44 – FinalNorth Attleboro won five matches by fall, one by tech fall, one by decision, and one by forfeit in a victory over Taunton. Tanner Ferguson (126), Braxton Ferro (132), and Christopher Galligan (138) all earned pins in less than a minute while Griffin Gouck (152) and Austin Dean (195) also win by pin. Jaad Ismail (170) picked up an 18-2 tech fall while heavyweight Keysun Wise took a 9-4 decision. Taunton got wins from Ryan Jones (120, 1:31), Ben Mandeville (145, 3:44), Christian Balmain (160, 6-2), Ethan Harris (182, 11-3), and Peter Ye (220, 12-5).

Taunton, 28 vs. Cumberland, 43 – Final Ryan Jones (113, 9-1), Christian Balmain (160, 6-3), Ethan Harris (182, 7-2), Avery Justa (195, 0:45), Peter Ye (220, 0:48), and Logan Frank (285, 3:50) each won for Taunton.

North Attleboro, 39 vs. Cumberland, 29 – FinalNorth Attleboro went 2-0 on the day, adding a win over Cumberland as well. Tanner Ferguson (126, 3:25), Christopher Galligan (138, 4:38), Griffin Gouck (152, 3:03), and Austin Dean (195, 2:35) all earned two pins on the day while Keysun Wise (285, 2:25), and Jaad Ismail (170, 7-5) both went 2-0. Greg Berthiaume (182) added a pinfall win (5:45) for the Rocketeers.

OLiver Ames Tri-Meet @ New Bedford – Oliver Ames picked up two wins on Tuesday, pinning down wins over Plymouth North (58-7) and New Bedford (42-39). Senior captains Giovany Juste (170) and Deric Lipski, Jr. (160) both went 2-0 with two pins while senior John Dobbin (138), junior Kyle Hardie (145), junior Henry Mirrione (152), and junior Jaden Hinton (285) also went 2-0. Against New Bedford, Henry Mirrione’s thrilling come-from-behind pin to win at 152 sparked the rally for the Tigers, who clinched the win over the Whalers when Jaden Hinton pinned his opponent with a quick headlock at heavyweight.
