Sharon, 40 @ Attleboro, 59 – Final – Sharon raced out to an 18-9 lead after the first quarter, but the Bombardiers climbed back for with a big second quarter to come within two at halftime. The Bombardiers held Sharon to just 12 points in the second half to earn their fourth win of the season. Jake Dunkley led Attleboro with 15 points. Ricardo Ripley scored a career-high 21 points for the Eagles.

Foxboro, 55 @ Franklin, 67 – Final – Franklin turned a seven point lead (27-20) at the halftime break into a double-digit advantage (50-37) by the end of third quarter. Franklin’s Connor Peterson led all scorers with 19 points while Josh Macchi added 14 points and Paul Mahon chipped in with 12 points for the Panthers. Foxboro’s Andrew Block had a team-high 14 points while Mark Clagg scored 12 points, Joe Morrison had 10 points and Joe Bartucca finished with eight points.
Stoughton, 40 @ Mansfield, 71 – Final – Mansfield used a dominate second quarter to stretch a two possession game into a comfortable lead by halftime. The Hornets outscored the Black Knights 21-4 in the second quarter and held a 37-14 lead at the break. Tyler Boulter and Sam Goldberg (six rebounds) each had 13 points while Phil Vigeant added 11 points, with a team-high three three-point field goals. Stoughton senior Izon Swain-Price netted a team-high 11 points.
Milford, 56 @ Taunton, 71 – Final – Taunton freshman Dante Law tied a career-high with 18 points to lead the way for the Tigers. Lou Vendrell scored a season-high 15 points while senior Tommy MacLean finished with 13 points. Milford senior Zack Tamagni led the Scarlet Hawks with 18 points while junior Kayden Kelley had 11 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
North Attleboro, 40 @ Oliver Ames, 59 – Final – Oliver Ames raced out to a 18-9 lead after the first quarter and used that lead as a launching point the rest of the way. The Rocketeers got it within nine at the end of the third quarter (40-31) but Oliver Ames finished the game by winning the fourth quarter 19-9. Carter Evin and Jack Spillane each had 16 points for the Tigers while Dylan Mahoney added 14 points. Brent Doherty led Big Red with 14 points while Jonny Friberg added 11 points.

Attleboro, 92 @ Sharon, 55 – Final – Click here for a recap of the game.
King Philip, 46 @ Canton, 23 – Final – Shannon O’Connor led the way for the Warriors with 15 points. Christina Hathaway added eight points for KP in what head coach Martin Crowley called, a “great team win.” Casey Shea was top scorer for the Bulldogs with 10 points.
Franklin, 31 @ Foxboro, 52- Final – Ashley Sampson reached the 20-point mark for the second game in a row, leading the Warriors with 22. Lily Sykes chipped in with 17 for the Warriors.
Mansfield, 54 @ Stoughton, 33 – Final – The Hornets outscored Stoughton 19-5 in the fourth quarter to break open a close game and pull out the win. Meg Hill led the way for Mansfield with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and nine blocks. Jen Peel added 14 points, five assists and three steals for the Hornets. Stoughton freshman Shyanne Trinh had a team-high 16 points for the Black Knights while Val Whalen had nine points and eight rebounds.
Taunton, 39 @ Milford, 52 – Final – Kate Irwin paced the Hawks with 22 points and Jill Burley added 15 in the win. Milford trailed 32-25 at halftime but took control with an 18-2 run in the third quarter and allowed only seven points in the second half.
Oliver Ames, 45 @ North Attleboro, 46 – Final – The Rocketeers avenged a one-point loss in last year’s playoffs by edging the Tigers in a game that had “playoff-like atmosphere.” Ashley Ahern was top scorer for North with 15 points and Kayla Raymond led OA with 21.
Gymnastics
Attleboro, 136.6 @ Franklin, 126 – Final – Attleboro’s Emma Humphrey (36.7) scored a 9.4 on bars, a 9.4 on floor, 9.0 on the vault and 8.9 on beam to lead the Bombardiers to the win. Franklin sophomore Mia Lizotte was not far behind at 36.3, scoring 9.2 on floor, vault and beam and 8.7 on bars.

#8 North Attleboro, 4 vs. #9 Marshfield, 2 – Final – After conceding an early penalty kick, North Attleboro rattled off four straight goals to beat the Rams. Ashlyn Gaulin tied the game off an assist from Haley Ferrin and then Ferrin put North in front, finishing off a pass from Haley Guertin. Just before halftime, Aine Mendonca converted a service from Guertin to make it 3-1. Gaulin made it 4-1 in the second half off another assist from Ferrin. North head coach Bill Wallace said Rachel LaBonte, Emily Chiasson, Sam Hawkins, Julia Tolfa and goalie Nina Beauvais kept the Rocketeers composed. The Rocketeers advance to the Div. 1 South quarterfinal to face Natick.

#6 King Philip, 2 @ #3 Somerset Berkley, 1 – Final (Penalty Strokes) – After Somerset Berkley seized the lead, King Philip’s Caitlin Donahue tied the game in the second half off an assist from Alli Meehan. After two scoreless overtime periods, the teams headed to penalty strokes. Christina Hathaway’s stroke proved to be the winner as KP won 2-0 in strokes – Liz Furfari also found the back of the cage. Abby Campbell stopped all four penalty strokes she saw. KP advances to the D1 South Semifinal to take on #2 Walpole on Wednesday.

#11 Canton, 1 @ #6 King Philip, 2 – Final (OT)– Andrea McNeil scored the goal for Canton in the 10th minute. Elizabeth Furfari tied it for the Warriors with just 2:30 remaining in the game. Kate Lindmark scored the winner for KP off an assist by Christina Hathaway with 1:10 left in overtime. KP advances to the D1 South quarterfinal and travels to #3 seed Somerset-Berkley on Sunday.

Mansfield, 4 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Milford freshman Jordan Borges scored his first career goal off an assist by Marcello Panno to open the scoring but Mansfield netted four goals in the final seven minutes of the first half to get the win. Sean Lanzillo leveled the score off an assist from Ethan Brill-Cass in the 33rd minute, Cullin Anastasia put Mansfield up 2-1 on an assist from Kevin Bouck in the 35th minute, James Chotkowski made it 3-1 off an assist from Brill-Cass in the 39th minute and then Anastasia made it 4-1 off an assist from Lanzillo just 30 seconds later. Mansfield goalie Nick Ferraz replaced an injured Jed Tolbert in net in the second half and made 12 saves – head coach Steve Sheridan saying Ferraz played phenomenal. Milford head coach Brian Edwards said Zachary Brown and Mike Weber played extremely well for the Scarlet Hawks.
King Philip, 2 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – King Philip senior Colby Koch opened the scoring for the Warriors, finishing off a one on one situation after a ball over the top from Tyler Mann. Jason Florio netted the game-winner in the 77th minute, finishing at the back post off a feed from Anthony Bozza. North Attleboro netted it’s goal in the 79th minute.
Taunton, 0 @ Stoughton, 4 – Final – Stoughton scored a pair of goals in each half to earn its seventh win of the season. Jordan Asnes opened the scoring with a shot into the bottom left corner after a cross from Marco Antunes. Antunes then set up Loubensky Lucas four minutes later, playing a through ball while Lucas lifted the ball over the keeper to make it 2-0. Senior Goddy Fombe made a nice run out of the back, putting a through ball into Lucas who ran onto it and slotted it home. Sophomore Fabio Ponce De Leon capped the scoring, flicking in a service from Conner Kavanagh at the near post to make it 4-0. Matt Gallagher earned his second shutout of the year in net.

Canton, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames scored two goals in each half to pick up its 10th win of the season. Tori Wyman, on an assist from Anna Tempestoso and Kiana Lozzi, on an assist from Abby Hodges gave OA a 2-0 lead at halftime. Jess Robarge, on an assist from Zoe Chazan) and Jackie Mills added second half goal for the Tigers.
Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Hannah Reiter netted a pair of goals and assisted on Stephanie Kemp’s goal to lift Mansfield. Kemp also notched an assist in the win. Milford head coach Jay Mastaj said Nichole Dahlgren and Rachel LeBlanc played well on defense.
North Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip scored three goals in the final 15 minutes to pick up the win over North Attleboro. Chloe Layne scored the game-winner, converting a corner kick from Emma Corcoran in the 65th minute. Kathrine Turner found Rachel Hogan, who volleyed her shot into the net to make it 2-0 with just under five minutes to play. Just 30 seconds later, Corcoran service another corner that Avery Snead latched onto to make it 3-0.
Stoughton, 0 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Izzy DaCosta netted the lone goal of the game to lift the Tigers. Stoughton head coach Tara Daniels said Emerson Sprague, Krista Michensi, Corina Kavengh and Sarah Widrow all played well defensively for the Black Knights.

Mansfield, 3 @ Milford, 2 – Final – In a match filled with long rallies, Mansfield was able to edge Milford, 21-25, 25-19, 24-26, 26-24, 15-8. “It was an outstanding team effort by our whole team,” Mansfield head coach Melissa Heeden said. For the Hornets, Jess Haradon had 43 digs, Chloe Peters had 49 assists, Meg Hill added 14 kills, Julia Harrison chipped in with 12 digs and 10 kills, Jacey Anderson had 22 digs, Emily Kleber finished with eight kills and Olivia Broyles had seven kills.
King Philip, 3 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – King Philip avenged a non-league loss to the Rocketeers last week with a 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20 league win on Thursday. Sydney Phillips paced the offense with 19 kills while adding 18 service points and three blocks. Kat Kmetz had 23 service points for the Warriors along with three kills and two blocks, Amanda Loewen had 11 service points and eight digs and Angela Vellante added 25 service points and two digs.

Taunton, 0 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final – Stoughton’s Riley Bagley had a strong all around game with with eight kills and 16 digs.

Franklin, 5 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Franklin sophomore Annie Walsh netted a hat trick to help the Panthers land a 5-1 victory. Junior Maddie Hinckley opened the scoring with junior Kate Morse and freshman Erin Walsh each chipping in with two assists. Sophomore Cassi Ronan also had a goal and an assist. Franklin senior Sam Hertzberg had six saves –including two scintillating stops — to get the win in the cage.
Mansfield, 3 @ Milford, 1 – Final
King Philip, 2 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – King Philip’s Christina Hathaway scored a penalty stroke in the first half to give the Warriors the edge at the break. In the second half, with 11 minutes left, Nicole Connor scored from an assist from Alli Meehan to make it 2-0. KP put 30 shots on net but North Attleboro goalie Liz Morehouse had a strong game.

Foxboro, 172 @ Oliver Ames, 143 – Final – Brady Allbritton earned match medalist honors for Oliver Ames, carding a low round of 34. Mark Bissonette shot a 35 while Ryan McGarry and Matt Kelley each shot 37 on the day. Chad Bearce shot a 42 for Foxboro and Matt Tierney carded a 43.
Stoughton, 179 @ Canton, 154 – Final – Canton’s Tommy Dimock was the match medalist, shooting a match-low 34 on the day at Blue Hills Country Club. Jackson Maffeo added a 39 for the Bulldogs while Matt Martin shot 40 and Pat Duggan shot a 41. Brendan Campbell led Stoughton with a 41.

Cullin Anastasia scored off an assist from goalie Jed Tolbert’s punt in the 11th minute, Sam Hyland headed home a throw from Max Gurnon in the 25th minute and Gurnon headed home a corner from Sean Lanzillo in the 28th minute. Tolbert made six saves for his fourth straight shutout. Head coach Steve Sheridan said Gurnon, Nick Hyland, Harry Braidt and Ethan Brill-Cass played great on defense,
Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – After a scoreless first half, King Philip junior Tyler Mann netted a pair of second half goals and Larsen Keys and Nils van den Boogaard each scored once for the Warriors. Mann scored on an assist from Thomas Lugten to open the scoring and then converted a chance from Colby Koch. Larsen Keys earned a penalty kick and took it himself to net his second goal of the season. Senior Nils van den Boogaard netted his first career goal on an assist from Mark Kahaly to cap the scoring.

Canton, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – Nine different players registered a kill for Canton in a 25-12, 25-21, 25-12 win. Nicole Poole had 21 assists and 12 digs to lead Canton. “She did a great job distributing the ball to many different hitters,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Erika Lum led Canton with nine kills and combined with Maria Mackie Julia Panico for 34 digs total digs.
King Philip, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – A kill from junior Meg Hill and an ace from senior Jess Haradon gave Mansfield a vital win in game three and the Hornets went on for the win, 25-19, 11-25, 28-26, 25-22. Olivia Broyles had eight blocks, Chloe Peters had 26 assists and five blocks and Hill finished with 10 kills. King Philip’s Sydney Philips had a game-high 19 kills and added 20 service points, Carly Adams chipped in with 24 assists and 23 service points, Amanda Loewen added 11 digs and 12 service points and Liv Balfud finished with 17 service points for the Warriors.
North Attleboro, 1 @ Milford, 3 – Final
Taunton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames picked up a 25-16, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23 win behind 38 assists from senior Bridget McCarthy. Alyssa Gavin added 14 digs, a pair of assists, and six aces from the back row, middle hitter Kayla Raymond added 13 kills, Emma Petrillo finished with nine kills, three digs and two aces and Maya Fetcho chipped in with eight kills and two blocks.
Stoughton, 3 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Stoughton junior Val Whalen had an impressive afternoon at the net, recording 17 kills in the win. Christina Gelin and Riley Bagley combined for over 60 digs for the Black Knights.
Field Hockey
Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 7 – Final – Freshman Erin Walsh scored her first career goal and then added three more in the game for a total of four goals. Alex Sullivan had three assists on Walsh’s goales while Brayden Downing had one. Downing also had a goal on an assist from Caroline Jackson, her first varsity point. Sophomore Cassi Ronan added a goal and an assist with Maddie Hinckley and Maeve Ledwith rounding out the scoring with a goal and an assist respectively. Canton, 0 @ Foxboro, 1 – Final – Lily Daly scored the lone goal of the game, putting the Warriors ahead with a second half strike.
King Philip, 3 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Caitlin Donahue put King Philip ahead with a first half goal off an assist from Alli Meehan. The Hornets responded with a tying goal in the second half but Donahue scored twice more, one off an assist from Christina Hathaway and another from Meehan again. Mansfield scored in the final seconds for its second goal of the game.
North Attleboro, 2 @ Milford, 2 – Final – After a scoreless first half, goals from Kaleigh Cole and Julia Feid put North Attleboro up 2-0 but the Scarlet Hawks rallied for a tie. Elena Dello Russo scored with just under eight minutes to play to cut into the deficit and Tina Capone scored with under a minute to play to tie the game. Emily Smith made 12 saves in the cage for Milford.
Taunton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final – Five different players each recorded a goal in Oliver Ames’ win over Taunton. Kendall Clifford, Dimitra Efremidis, Meaghan Rockey, Sydney Hedrick and Cristina Boudreau each scored once for OA. Head coach Abby Tepper said Katie Davenport had a strong defensive game for OA.
Stoughton, 4 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Kamryn Oliviera scored a pair of goals for the Black Knights, while Mia Russell and Julia Russell had scored a goal each. Erin Dougherty scored for Sharon.

Oliver Ames, 163 @ Attleboro, 185 – Final – Oliver Ames punched its ticket to the state tournament with the win. Thomas Walsh’s round of 40 led the way for the Tigers while Brady Allbritton and Ryan McGarry each shot 41 on the day.
North Attleboro, 169 @ King Philip, 180 – Final – North Attleboro’s Robbie Congdon had the match low round of 38 while Sebastian Ladoulis had a team-low round of 42 for King Philip.
Canton, 161 @ Milford, 153 – Final – Ryan Tomaso was shot a 35 to earn match medalist honors and Anthony Arcudi carded a 36 as the Scarlet Hawks handed Canton its first loss. Matt Minichiello shot a 39 for Canton and Danny Powers carded a round of 40.
Taunton, 188 @ Mansfield, 165 – Final – Brendan Loomer was the match medalist, shooting a low round of 38 to lead Mansfield. Jason Hindman added a 40 and David Norris shot a 42 on the day. Taunton’s Justin Proto carded a team low round of 40.
