Oliver Ames, 3 vs. Brockton, 1 – Final – Seniors Francesca Calabraro, Kiana Lozzi and Lauren Wright each scored a goal in the first half as Oliver Ames built a 3-0 lead by halftime. Head coach Britt Sellmayer said Emily Freeman and Zoe Chazan had solid defensive games for the Tigers.
Taunton, 1 @ New Bedford, 1 – Final – Olivia Sweeney scored Taunton’s goal, on an assist from Alexis Faria. Grace Pimenta had four saves in net for the Tigers.
Field Hockey
Oliver Ames, 3 vs. West Bridgewater, 1 – Final – Oliver Ames built a three goal lead by halftime and held off West Bridgewater in the second half to hand new head coach Abby Tepper her first career win. Dimitra Efremidis scored once and had an assistwhile Sarah Steves and Kendall and Clifford each scored once. Meaghan Rockey added an assist for the Tigers.
Milford, 0 vs. Nipmuc, 3 – Final – Milford head coach Kim Danish noted Kaitlyn DeCapua had a strong game for the Scarlet Hawks.
Volleyball
North Attleboro, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – The Panthers rallied from a six point deficit in the first set to set the tone and earn the win. Erin Skidmore rattled off nine straight service points, turning a 20-14 North Attleboro lead into a 23-20 lead for the Panthers in the first set. Skidmore finished with 16 service points, seven aces, five kills and two blocks. Junior Meaghan Maguire led Franklin with 10 kills and three blocks while sophomore Lauren McGrath had 17 Assists and five aces for the Panthers.
Golf
Milford @ Foxboro – Postponed to 9/12
Franklin, 165 @ Mansfield, 174 – Final – Franklin junior Bryan Woelfel was the match medalist, shooting a 37 to lead the Panthers. Senior Matt Dao also had a strong day for Franklin, carding a 41. Mansfield senior Jason Hindham shot a team-best 38 for the Hornets.
Taunton, 179 vs. Coyle & Cassidy, 198 – Final – Taunton started the season off with a win over rival Coyle, behind a match-low 41 from Mike Volkmann. Justin Proto shot a 43 for Taunton while Jake Crawford had a 46 and Ryan Maloney carded a 49.

Foxboro, 3 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Noah Schulze gave Stoughton the lead with a goal six minutes into the game. The lead stood until the second half when Devante Teixeira, Anthony Barreira, and Joe Morrison all scored for the Warriors.
Taunton, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – David Stowell put Franklin ahead in the first half off an assist from Wes Kozil. Brian Czuba got his first goal before the break off an assist from Cam LeBlanc. Taunton pulled within one in the second half off a free kick from Austin Botelho but Czuba added an insurance goal off an assist from Hatim Brahimi.Â
North Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Mansfield’s defense set the school record with its 10th shutout this season. Michael Kirejczyk made six saves for his ninth shutout of the season, which ties a school record. Cullin Anastasia and Jack Reilly scored for the Hornets while Reilly and Brenden Sullivan each had an assist.Â

Canton, 4 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Riley Duserick, Hannah Link, Sarah MacQuarrie and Hayley Mulford each found the back of the net for Canton. Tessa Cudmore had a pair of assists in the win and Shannon Foley had one assist.
Stoughton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Shaina Abbott scored a pair of goals and Katherine Luciano and Riley Collins each scored once for the Warriors. Emerson Sprague scored for the Black Knights.Â
Mansfield, 3 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – Hana Caster scored off a corner kick from Grace Guertin with just four minutes left to life the Rocketeers. North held a 3-0 lead at the break as Guertin factored into all four goals for Big Red. Guertin was fouled in the area in the 12th minute and Shannon Kingsley buried the penalty kick. Guertin then set up Leah Jette in the 21st minute and then linked up with Kingsley in the 31st minute to build a 3-0 lead at half. Hannah Reiter scored a pair of goals in the second half for Mansfield and Katie Bongarzone scored once to tie the game at three.
Oliver Ames, 4 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Kiana Lozzi scored a pair of goals, Delaney Benton and Francesca Calabraro each netted one goal and Jackie Mills had two assists for Oliver Ames.
Volleyball
King Philip, 3 vs. Walpole, 2 – Final – King Philip dropped the first two sets but rallied back to get the win at home, 20-25, 12-25, 25-12, 25-21, 15-12. Seniors Josie Rowean and Gwen Uyrus shined on senior night with 21 and 12 kills respectively while senior Molly Citarell and Micaela Murray anchored the defense for the Warriors.Â
Stoughton, 3 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – The Black Knights and Eagles played in their annual Dig for a Cure match and raised over $3,200 for cancer research according to SMAC’s Jeffrey Pickette. Stoughton picked up a 25-16, 25-19, 25-15 sweep on the road. Bridgette Whalen led the Black Knights with nine blocks, six kills, 15 digs and four aces, Bianca DeSousa had 11 digs, nine service points, five kills and four aces and Ava Siegel added 13 service points, five kills and two aces.
Field Hockey
Taunton, 2 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Caroline Lounsbury scored the game winning goal with 44 seconds left off assists from Taylor Reutlinger and Kenzi Pleshaw to lift the Panthers. Taunton held a 1-0 lead at halftime but Diana Griffin knotted the game just three minutes into the second half off assists from Cassi Ronan and Reutlinger. Annie Walsh put Franklin ahead at 2-1. Abbey Kingman scored both of Taunton’s goals.Â
Stoughton, 3 vs. Brockton, 1 – Final –Â Courtney Campbell, Mia Russell and Ashley Chipman scored for Stoughton, who qualified for the state tournament with the win.Â

Milford, 0 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Anthony Barreira, Nic Biegel, Devante Teixeira and Hussein Kafel all scored for the Warriors, who had a 3-0 lead at half.
North Attleboro, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – Joe Kellett, Larsen Keys and Mike Rowe each registered two points as the Warriors came back from a one goal deficit. Gareth King put the Rocketeers ahead before Kellett scored off a free kick from Cam Mullins. Keys then put KP ahead, heading home a corner from Kellett. Mike Rowe got his first goal by converting a corner from sophomore Connor Mullins. Rowe’s second goal came off a through ball from Keys.Â
Sharon, 1 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Sharon’s Jake Goloboy scored the lone goal of the game on an assist from James Dunlea as the Eagles qualified for the state tournament. Andrew Filipkowski had the shutout in net for Sharon.

Foxboro, 0 @ Milford, 2 – Final – Carina Thompson and Kristen Franzini each scored a goal for the Scarlet Hawks and Lindsay Stiles and Katie Brown each had an assist. Milford head coach Jay Mastaj said Nicole Dahlgren and Gabby O’Neil played well on defense.
King Philip, 0 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Haley Guertin scored in the 27th minute off an assist from Britta McDonald to lift the Rocketeers to a win.Â
Stoughton, 2 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Stoughton freshman Gabi Diaz scored twice in the second half, the final goal coming in the final minute to lift the Black Knights. Alana Richards and Emmie Sprague each ahd an assist. Head coach Tara Daniels credited Sarina Hutchinson and Sarah Widrow with strong defensive games. Ally Steinberg scored a first half goal for Sharon.

Franklin, 2 vs. Bishop Feehan, 3 – Final – Alyssa Shea had 10 kills and three digs, Aubrie Kutil had 13 kills and Hannah Chace added eight kills for the Panthers. Dayna McCue had a whopping 45 serve receives, 25 digs and a pair of aces for Franklin.

North Attleboro, 1 @ King Philip, 2 – Final – The Warriors took the lead in the first half when Alli Meehan converted her breakaway chance for an unassisted goal. Liz Furfari doubled KP’s lead off of an assisted goal in the second half. North Attleboro’s Mcayla Moody scored off a corner with just over a minute remaining.Â

Jordan Asnes converted a penalty to give Stoughton a 1-0 lead. Stoughton head coach Aaron Salter credited Milford goalie Mike Da Silva with some outstanding saves.
Girls Soccer
Foxboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Francesca Calabraro scored on a pair of headers in the second half, the second assisted by Zoe Chazan, and Kiana Lozzi tacked on a third goal with two minutes to play. Jalisa Allen made 11 saves for the Warriors. Carolyn Will had a free kick tipped over the bar by Regan Benton in the opening minutes of the second half with the game still tied 0-0.
Franklin, 2 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – Halle Atkinson and Jess Kroushl scored the goals for Franklin and both were assisted by Alexis Stowell. Head coach Tom Geysen credited his defense for the victory, extending the team’s clean sheet streak to 11 games to start the season.
Canton, 6 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Hannah Link scored a pair of goals, the first assisted by Shannon Foley and second by Riley Duserick, to lead Canton to the win. Lauren Fitzpatrick, Julia Hamilton, Leianna Brune, and Kendra Farrelly also scored for the Bulldogs.

Loubensky Lucas put the Black Knights up 2-1 on a header off a long throw from Josh Mitchell and then Mitchell made it 3-1 with a shot from 25 yards out. Lucas capped Stoughton’s scoring with a long range shot to make it 4-1. Noah Schulze scored Stoughton’s first half goal off another long throw from Mitchell. Nick Parent and Brian Czuba scored for Franklin. Â
Mansfield, 0 @ Sharon, 2 – Final – James Dunlea gave the Eagles the lead in the 38th minute off an assist by Ben Stamm. Sharon was able to add an insurance goal in the final minutes when Dunlea set up Jake Goloboy to make it 2-0.
North Attleboro, 2 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Milford erased a deficit on two occasions as Justin Borges recorded a hat trick for the Scarlet Hawks. Marcello Panno had a pair of assists for Milford. Leo Charlebois and Matt Cosacarella scored goals for the Rocketeers and Gabe Pinhancos had a pair of assists. Â

Taunton fought back to force a fifth set but the Bulldogs were able to hold on for a 21-25, 25-19, 25-18, 22-25, 15-9 win. Elizabeth Hamilton paced Canton with 17 kills and 21 digs while head coach Pat Cawley said Olivia Devoe played “outstanding” on defense with 35 digs. Sarah Reissfelder and Rye Verille each added 13 kills while Nicole Poole had 43 assist and 15 digs. Cawley called it a great team effort from the Bulldogs. Tatum Speicher had 34 assists for the Tigers, Molly Sullivan added 20 digs and Meghan Navarro had 24 digs and three aces.

Stoughton, 1 @ Canton, 6 – Final – The Bulldogs created a number of chances, according to coach Kate Howarth, and had five different players score goals in the win. Meaghan Hunter scored twice for Canton, which also got goals from Hannah Link, Riley Duserick, Sarah MacQuarrie, and Sarah Connelly. Stoughton’s goal was scored by Krista Michienzi off a cross from Mia Greene.Â
Foxboro, 5 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Riley Collins scored a hat trick for Foxboro and Hannah Burns and Hailey Maling each scored once.Â
King Philip, 2 @ Taunton, 3 – Final
Oliver Ames, 3Â @ Milford, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames jumped out to a 2-0 lead at halftime behind goals from junior Francesca Calabraro and senior Delaney Benton. Junior Kiana Lozzi added a second half goal for the Tigers. Milford head coach Jay Mastaj said Katie Brown, Kristen Franzini and Nichole Dahlgren played well for the Scarlet Hawks.Â

Mansfield, 4 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final – Olivia Horn found the back of the net twice to pace Mansfield to a key divisional win over Attleboro. Caitlin Whitman and Brianna Puccia each scored once for the Hornets.
Canton, 1 @ Stoughton, 2 – Final – Angela Connelly’s goal with 2:39 left in the game lifted Stoughton to its first win over Canton in over a decade. Mia Russell scored Stoughton’s first goal.
Sharon, 0 @ Foxboro, 7 –Â Final – Annie McGeary scored a hat trick for the Warriors.Â
North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – Senior Samantha Jones made nine saves in net to get the shutout as Franklin bounced back from its first loss of the season. Freshman Annie Walsh scored a pair of goals while senior Kelsey McPhee, sophomore Christina Quinn and freshman Cassi Ronan each scored once.Â
Taunton, 1 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip netted a pair of goals in the second half to break a 1-1 deadlock at halftime. Courtney Foley scored twice, one assisted by Christina Hathaway and one by Casie Curtin. Liz Furfari netted an unassisted goal for KP.Â

Milford, 25 @ Canton, 30 – Final – Canton senior Mark Clancy broke the course record time, finishing in 16:08 to beat the old record by 13 seconds. Canton’s other finishes were sophomore Jack Healey in fourth (17:09), senior Courtland Priest in sixth (17:41) Thomas Cahill in ninth (18:04) and Andrew Salvatori in 11th (18:27).

Milford, 34 @ Canton, 25 – Final – Canton’s Cat Song set a new course record (17:57), smashing the previous record (19:26) but nearly 90 seconds. Olivia Stevens finished fourth (22:13), Ally Chin finished fifth (22;21), Emily Orkin in seventh (22:35) and Margaret Polsgrove (22:54) in eighth.Â

Sharon, 176 @ Canton, 156 – Final – Junior Pat Duggan and sophomore Danny Powers each shot 39 for the Bulldogs, who qualified for the state tournament with the win. Junior Jackson Maffeo added a 39 and Jack Goyetch shot 41 for Canton. Sharon’s Jordan Chabot shot a team-low 39.Â
Taunton, 200 @ King Philip, 203 – Final – After being tied at 159 through four cards, the match was decided on the fifth card with Taunton edging KP by three strokes. Mario Wilson and Kaynel Gonsalves each shot 39 for Taunton while Justin Proto shot a 40. For King Philip, Mickey Riley was the match medalist with a 37 and sophomore Danny McLoughlin added a 38.Â
Oliver Ames, 158 @ Attleboro, 175 – Final – Steven Tasho and Brian Lambert each carded a 39 to lead the Tigers to a win. Tyler Letendre shot a 40 for Attleboro.
