Boys Soccer
Mansfield, 2 @ Franklin, 0 – Final – Mansfield’s Jed Tolbert notched his sixth shutout of the season and the Hornets cashed in twice in the second half to beat Franklin. Sam Hyland headed home a corner kick from Sean Lanzillo in the 49th minute for the game-winner. Cullin Anastasia doubled the lead in the 73rd minute, finishing off a direct kick from Lanzillo.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – North Attleboro sophomore Justin Renehan scored his first career goal with 11 minutes to go in the game to put the Rocketeers ahead but Stoughton found the equalizer with just over two minutes to go. Stoughton sophomore Fabio Ponce De Leon scored the tying goal after a service into the box from a free kick passed by Marco Antunes. Shawn Watters had four big saves for the Rocketeers.

King Philip @ Taunton – Postponed to 10/22 at 10:00AM.

Girls Soccer
Oliver Ames, 4 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Kiana Lozzi scored a pair of goals as Oliver Ames improved to 12-0-3 on the season. Lauren Wright and Jess Robarge each added a goal while Zoe Chazan, Emily Freeman and Jackie Mills each had an assist.

Foxboro, 4 @ Milford, 2 – Final – Kristen Franzini and Gabbie Riley each scored for Milford.

Franklin, 1 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Franklin’s Molly Duncan scored early in the second half off of an assist from Halle Atkinson to put the Panthers up but Mansfield found the equalizer in the final 10 minutes. Amanda Mangano converted with just eight minutes to go to keep the Hornets undefeated (13-0-2).

Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 5 – Final – Four players recorded two points in North Attleboro’s win at home over Stoughton. Haley Ferrin scored a pair of goals – “They were beautiful goals,” said North coach Bill Wallace – while Ashlyn Gaulin, Kayla Pasquel and Haley Guertin each scored once and had an assist. Britta MacDonald and Kenzie Rosenberg also had an assist for the Rocketeers. Stoughton head coach Tara Daniels said Gabby Diaz “played tough in the back field.” for the Black Knights.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip freshman Avery Snead netted the game winner in the 32nd minute of the game as the Warriors picked up the shutout win at home. “It was a rocket,” KP head coach Gary Pichel said of Snead’s goal. Julian Massarone doubled the lead in the 47th minute, converting a nice pass from Chloe Layne inside the area. Maddie Smith added an insurance goal just three minutes later in the 50th minute, converting a cross from Layne.

Volleyball
Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames defended home court with a 25-18, 25-16, 25-18 sweep of Attleboro. OA senior Bridget McCarthy tallied 22 assists and three aces and senior libero Alyssa Gavin added 12 digs and two aces. Caroline Cavanaugh had four kills and “played aggressive on the net” according to head coach Chelsea Correia.

Canton, 3 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Canton picked up the sweep on the road at Sharon; “Everyone contributed to the win tonight,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Nicole Poole led Canton with 16 assists, six kills and two aces. Emma Murphy added seven kills, three blocks and six aces. Sofia Connor, Malia Claiborne and Kehla Minkin all played good defense while Emma Gobbi played well at the net for Canton.

Milford, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Franklin used the energy of senior night to sweep Mansfield, 25-20, 25-21, 25-20. “It was a strong performance by the entire team,” Franklin head coach Kate Horsmann said. Senior Erin Skidmore had 14 kills and 11 digs to lead the Panthers while Meaghan Maguire had six kills and three blocks, Lauren McGrath had 22 assists, two aces and a kill and Maddie Kuzio finished with 22 digs and a pair of aces. For Mansfield, Jess Haradon had 20 digs, Meg Hill had 10 kills and Emily Kleber had six kills.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final

King Philip, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – King Philip picked up the 25-23, 25-10, 25-20 sweep on the road. Sydney Phillips led KP with 15 kills and 14 service points while Kat Kmetz had four kills, three digs and 13 service points, Liv Balduf chipped in with five kills and 11 service points and Amanda Loewen had six digs and eight service points.

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Kayla Lozzi netted a pair of goals while Kendall Clifford found of the back of the cage once to pace OA. Katie Vamosi made six saves in net to preserve the shutout for the Tigers.

Canton, 7 @ Sharon, 0 – Final

Milford, 1 @ Foxboro, 3 – Final

Mansfield, 2 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Franklin sophomore Annie Walsh scored a pair of goals with her sister Erin Walsh, a freshman, scoring once to lead Franklin to a 3-2 win. Franklin head coach Lisa Cropper said Cassi Ronan, Caroline Lounsbury and Kayla Marshall also played well for the Panthers.

Mansfield, 1 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final – Mansfield’s Sam Hyland scored the tying goal with 10 minutes left in the game. Hyland scored on an assist from James Chotkowski, who got a touch off of Max Gurnon’s throw in.

Canton, 1 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Freshman Jordan Borges scored his second career goal to put Milford ahead early in the second half but Canton leveled the match with a penalty kick with six minutes to go. Milford head coach Brian Edwards said Zachary Browne and Marcello Panna both put in great performances.

Stoughton, 0 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Foxboro’s Hussein Kafel scored the game winning goal midway through the first half for the Warriors while Anthony Barreira iced the game with a goal in the final minutes.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Shawn Watters notched his second straight shutout and fourth overall in net for the Rocketeers.

King Philip, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames scored three goals in the second half to hand King Philip its first loss of the season. Nathaniel Cardoza set up Thomas McCormick for a shot from just outside the area to put OA up 1-0. Matt Campbell finished off a cross from Matt Alvarado to make it 2-0 and then Alvarado scored one of his own, putting home a flick from James Gillespie off a throw from Chris Lawrence. Jack Carroll recorded his seventh shutout of the season with the help of Lawrence, Mason Galbato, Nick Bloumbas, Cam Johnson and Michael Braga. “We had an early opportunity in the second half but wasn’t able to finish,” KP head coach Nick Gale said. “After that, OA played very well and scored first which set the tone – they didn’t look back. I take responsibility for my team being unprepared.”

Taunton, 1 @ Franklin, 1 – Final – Farley Asmath opened the scoring in the 39th minute off a feed from freshman Sam Stowell to put Franklin up 1-0 but Taunton’s Daeshawn Duffie answered a minute later to level the match just before half.

Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 4 – Final – Stephanie Kemp and Amanda Mangano each recorded two points as Mansfield stayed unbeaten on the season. Kemp scored once and had an assist while Mangano had two helpers. Bryn Anderson, Emma Goulet and Emily Vigeant each scored once for Mansfield.

Canton, 3 @ Milford, 6 – Final

Foxboro, 7 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 6 – Final – North Attleboro’s Haley Guertin tied a school record with five goals in the Rocketeers’ big win. Emma Gaulin scored the other goal for Big Red. Rachel LaBonte had two assists while Emily Chiasson, Sam Hawkins, Ashlyn Gaulin and Britta MacDonald each had one assist. Head coach Bill Wallace said Grace McGoldrick and Julianna DiRenzo played exception in midfield.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ King Philip, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames junior Abby Reardon netted the game winner in the first half to lift the Tigers. OA head coach Britt Sellmayer said Regan Benton had a strong game in goal to earn the shutout and said both Lauren Wright and Dana Lowney played well for the Tigers.

Mansfield, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Mansfield picked up a 25-9, 25-15, 25-18 sweep on the road. Jess Haradon had 10 service points and 15 digs, Jacey Anderson had 10 digs and Anna Kemp added 14 service points for the Hornets.

Stoughton, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Juniors Jordan Motley and Val Whalen combined for over 30 kills for Stoughton while senior Riley Bagley and sophomore Mia Bennett kept the defense strong with over 80 digs.

North Attleboro @ Sharon, 5:00

King Philip, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – King Philip picked up the 25-17, 23-25, 25-15, 25-18 win on the road. Angela Vellante had 19 service points, three aces and four digs for King Philip while Sydney Phillips added 17 kills and 19 service points and Liv Balduf chipped in with 11 service points and three kills. KP head coach Kristen Geuss said Molly Croke had an excellent defensive game. Oliver Ames’ Bridget McCarthy had 20 assists and three aces.

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Erin Skidmore led the Panthers with 10 kills, eight digs and two aces while Maddie Kuzio added 19 digs, two aces and a kill and Meaghan Maguire finished with four kills and three blocks.

Taunton, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – Franklin senior Nicole Denommee scored her first varsity goal on the while Annie Walsh, Alex Sullivan, Cassi Ronan and Caroline Lounsbury each scored once. Senior Samantha Hertzberg got the shutout in goal making three saves.

Golf
Foxboro, 173 @ Attleboro, 169 – Final – Ethan Johnson led Attleboro, earning co-medalist honors with a round of 40. Brian Houle shot a 42, Corey McKenna shot a 43 and Taron Mills carded a 45 to pace the Bombardiers. Foxboro’s Colby Nickerson shared medalist honors, shooting a 40 as well.

Oliver Ames, 147 @ Canton, 151 – Final – Oliver Ames completed the regular season undefeated at 16-0 with a win at Canton. Ryan McGarry and Nolan Donze both shot 35 earn match medalist honors for the Tigers. Brady Allbritton shot a 38 and Tate Hadges carded a 39 for the Tigers. Matt Minichiello and Danny Powers each each shot 37 to pace Canton while Tommy Dimock carded a round of 38

Taunton, 166 @ Franklin, 164 – Final – Matt D’Errico led Franklin with a 38 while Bryan Woelfel carded a 39 for the Panthers. Taunton’s Mike Volkmann and Justin Proto shared match medalist honors, shooting 36 on the day.

Oliver Ames, 148 @ North Attleboro, 160 – Final – Oliver Ames had three golfers shoot under 40 on the day as the Tigers improved to 15-0. Brady Allbritton, Nick Lombardi and Thomas Walsh shared match medalist honors, shooting 36 while Ryan McGarry carded a 40. Robbie Congdon shot a 38 and David Colasanti shot a 39 to lead North Attleboro.

Franklin, 174 @ King Philip, 158 – Final – King Philip’s Sebastian Ladoulis was the medalist, carding a low-round of 37 to lead the Warriors.

Sharon, 235 @ Taunton, 238 – Final – Taunton’s Mike Volkmann was the match medalist, shooting a 42 to lead the Tigers.

Stoughton, 187 @ Attleboro, 173 – Final – Attleboro’s Corey McKenna earned match medalist honors, carding a low round of 40 to lead the Bombariders. Taron Mills shot a 43 and Brian Houle and Ethan Johnson each shot 45 for Big Blue. Brendan Campbell led Stoughton with a round of 45.

Mansfield, 19 @ Oliver Ames, 39 – Final – Mansfield had four of the top five finishers to clinch their 13th straight league title outright. Mansfield’s Kalin Petrov won the race in a personal best time of 16:34 while Nick Rispoli was second in 17:07. Oliver Ames’ Brent Schwartz was fourth in 17:14 with Mansfield’s Patrick Heavey coming in fourth in 17:23 and Collin Rice coming in fifth in 17:36.

King Philip, 38 @ Franklin, 21 – Final – For the second straight season, Franklin claimed the Kelley-Rex division title. Nicole Clermont finished first over all to pace Franklin, winning in 19:46. Katherine Hartnett was second overall in 20:02, Ella Gutkowski was fifth in 21:48, Katrina Walbert was sixth in 21:51 and Brianna Cummings finished seventh to round off Franklin’s top five.
