Foxboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 2 – Final – James Gillespie scored twice, once in each half, as Oliver Ames rallied from an early deficit. Matt Campbell and Thomas McCormick notched assists for Oliver Ames in the win.
North Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – James Chotkowski netted the game winning goal with just five minutes to play to lift the Hornets. Max Gurnon’s throw in was headed on by Kevin Bouck to Chotkowski, who finished for the lone tally of the game.
Sharon, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – Final – Cam Mullins scored a brace, both off corners, and Connor Mullins recorded three assists for the Warriors. Colby Koch, Tyler Mann (from Larsen Keys) and Cam McGovern also scored for KP.
Stoughton, 3 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Franklin built a two goal lead in the first half but the Black Knights stormed back with three unanswered goals to grab the win. Farley Asmath and Nitin Chaudury netted goals off assists from Liam Kapples to put the hosts up 2-0. Stoughton answered as Noah Schulze scored on a free kick from 30 yards out and then tied the game before the break on Tyler Melo’s strike from outside the area. The Black Knights netted the game-winner with Melo finishing off a cross from Jordan Asnes. Stoughton head coach Aaron Salter said, “It was an excellent team performance today from every player.” Salter had specific praise for his back line as well as Melo and junior Brian Peoples.
Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 0 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Milford senior Sydney Morrison netted the lone goal of the game off an assist from Kristen Franzini to help the Scarlet Hawks edge Attleboro. Milford head coach Jay Mastaj said Maggie Boyle and Ashleigh Starks both played well for the Scarlet Hawks.
Mansfield, 2 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Hannah Reiter scored both goals for the Hornets, including the winner on a header off an Emily Vigeant corner with eight minutes remaining. Stephanie Kemp assisted the first Mansfield goal. Emily Schromm scored North Attleboro’s goal to tie the game at 1-1 in the second half off an assist from Haley Guertin. North interim head coach Bill Wallace said Aine Mendonca played well for the Rocketeers.
King Philip, 2 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Avery Snead (from Maddie Smith) and Abby Baker scored the goals for the Warriors. Ally Filipkowski scored the goal for the Eagles off an assist by Alex Rabb.
Franklin, 4 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Meghan Doherty, Miranda Smith, Sara Yelle and Molly Duncan scored the goals for the Panthers, while Calen Frongillo has a pair of assists and Emily Mastaj and Nadia Havens each had one.

Canton, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Canton picked up the win 25-13, 25-9, 25-15 in what head coach Pat Cawley called a “great team effort.” Nicole Poole controlled the offense skillfully, dishing out 27 assists and adding two kills and two aces. Hannah Jerrier had a 10 kills with no errors, hitting an impressive .435. Casey Shea added seven kills with just one error, hitting .545. Julia Panico was “outstanding” in the back row according to Cawley, finishing with 20 digs. Erika Lum, Maria Mackie and Emily Lynch combined for 33 digs for the Bulldogs.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield notched a 25-13, 25-17, 19-25, 25-21 win at home over the Rocketeers. Meg Hill led the Hornets with 10 kills and six blocks, Olivia Broyles had eight blocks and played strong defense. Julia Harrison had seven kills, Jess Haradon added 23 digs and Chloe Peters had 33 assists and 14 service points.

Sydney Phillips led KP with 16 kills and 14 service points, Carly Adams added 18 service points and 22 assists, Amanda Loewen chipped in with eight digs, Liv Balduf had four kills and nine service points and Angela Vellante added 15 service points and three digs.
Stoughton, 1 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Lauren McGrath helped set Franklin up for victory, notching 33 assists along with seven digs and three aces to lead the Panthers. Erin Skidmore had 15 kills and 11 digs, Maddie Kuzio had 21 digs and three aces, Lindsay McGowan contributed with seven kills, four digs, three aces and Meaghan Maguire finished with eight blocks and five kills for Franklin. For Stoughton, Riley Bagley had 43 digs while Val Whalen added 17 kills and sophomore Molly Turner had 20 assists.

King Philip, 0 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Gianna Barbosa stopped 10 shots, earning the shutout as the Black Knights handed King Philip its first loss of the season. Kelli Joyce scored the game winner for Stoughton early in the second half off an assist by Julia Russell.

Mansfield, 173 @ King Philip, 155 – Final – King Philip’s Danny McLaughlin earned match medalist honors, shooting a low round of 37 to lead the Warriors. Senior Jack Citarell finished with a 40 for the Warriors but picked up birdies on both the fifth and sixth hole to help KP. Sebastian Ladoulis and Matt Stanton both shot 39 for KP. Jason Hindman led Mansfield with a 39.

Emily Moor led Taunton with eight kills, 14 digs and four aces while Delaney Powell had five kills, Abby Waldron had five digs, four kills and an ace and Kayli Fagan notched 25 assists, two kills, two aces and five digs.
Stoughton, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Aggressive serving from Maria Mackie helped Canton turn a two point deficit late in the second set into a two point win and the Bulldogs went on to complete the sweep, 25-22, 25-23, 25-16. Mackie, who had a steady night on defense as well, helped Canton turn a 23-21 deficit into a 25-23 win with her serving. Hannah Jerrier led Canton with eight kills, Casey Shea shined at the night with five kills and five blocks and Emma Murphy added three kills and five blocks. Julia Panico was an anchor for Canton’s defense while Nicole Poole was the glue for the Bulldogs with 21 assists and 15 digs.
North Attleboro, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final
King Philip, 3 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Franklin jumped out to a 2-0 lead but King Philip rattled off three straight wins to get the victory, 18-25, 11-25, 25-11, 25-20, 15-13. Sydney Phillips had a strong all around day to lead KP, registering 29 service points, three aces, 11 kills and seven digs. Carly Adams added 20 service points and 16 assists, Amanda Loewen had 24 digs and 15 service points, Michaela Palumbo added nine kills and Angela Vellante chipped in with 12 service points. Franklin’s Lauren McGrath had 23 assists, two kills and an ace and Erin Skidmore had 12 kills, eight aces, five digs and one block.

Attleboro, 170 @ Mansfield, 164 – Final – Mansfield senior Jason Hindman earned match medalist honors, shooting a low round of 35. Brett Kessler chipped in with a 42 for the Hornets. Ethan Johnson and Corey McKenna each carded a 41 for the Bombardiers.
Sharon, 185 @ Foxboro, 194 – Final – Sharon’s Max Avratin was the match medalist, shooting a low round of 44 to lead the Eagles. Matt Tierney paced the Warriors with a 47.
King Philip, 158 @ Oliver Ames, 146 – Final – Oliver Ames’ Nick Lombardi shot a one-under par 33 to lead the Tigers. Mark Bissonette shot a 35 for OA and Nolan Donze and Thomas Walsh each carded a 39. Danny McLaughlin shot a 35 to lead KP while Sebastian Ladoulis shot a 39.
Stoughton, 186 @ Milford, 159 – Final – Milford’s Ryan Tomaso continued his stellar season, shooting a 36 to lead the Scarlet Hawks. Milford’s Andrew Fauerbach carded a round of 40 to help the Scarlet Hawks.

Stoughton, 4 @ Norwood, 3 – Final – For the second time in as many days, Stoughton had a player record a hat trick. Loubensky Lucas netted his first hat trick of the season, a day after he scored a pair of goals and classmate Jordan Asnes recorded a hat trick against Milford. Sophomore Fabio Ponce De Leon opened his account on the season, putting Stoughton ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute of a feed from Asnes. Ponce De Leon set Lucas up a minute later for a 2-0 lead. Stoughton added two goals early in the second half as Lucas took a pass from Tyler Melo and finished from inside the area and then scored on a penalty kick a minute later.
Girls Soccer
Stoughton, 2 vs. Norwood, 2 – Final – Freshman Abby Kashian and junior Emerson Sprague each scored for the Black Knights while head coach Tara Daniels said Gabby Diaz, Sarah Widrow, and Isabel Solem helped Stoughton keep possession throughout the game.

Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – The Mansfield Hornets picked up a comfortable win at home, emerging with a 25-8, 25-12, 25-14 win. Meg Hill led Mansfield with 12 kills while Julia Harrison added nine kills. Chloe Peters had 19 service points, and Anna Kemp and Jolie O’Neil each had seven service points for the Hornets.
Canton, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – It might have been on a sweep, but it was a tight battle between Davenport foes Canton and Milford. Canton came away with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-22 win. “Both sides fought hard and played great defense,” Canton head coach Pat Cawley said. Canton outside hitter Hannah Jerrier led the Bulldogs with seven kills and Erika Lum had six kills and 13 digs. Middles Emma Murphy and Casey Shea each had four kills and combined for 10 blocks. “We played our best team defense of the year,” Cawley said, led by libero Julia Panico with 24 digs and aided by Emily Lynch and Maria Mackie, who combined for 17 digs.
Foxboro, 2 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final – Stoughton and Foxboro battled back and forth but the Black Knights shut the door with an emphatic 15-2 win in the fifth and final set. Stoughton junior Val Whalen led the Black Knights offense with 20 kills while senior Christina Gelin dominated the back row with 41 digs. Senior Riley Bagley added 20 digs for Stoughton.
Sharon, 1 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – For Sharon, junior Jess Allan led the offense with eight kills and two aces, senior Natalie Kane had 12 blocks and three kills and setters Faythe Gomolka and Arianna Chabot combined for 15 assists. Chabot also went 16 for 16 at the service line.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Cristina Boudreau and Kayla Lozzi each scored a goal and added an assist as Oliver Ames blanked Attleboro on the road. Kayla Lozzi and Liz Nuss each scored once while Rachel Stryke registered an assist.
Sharon, 0 @ Canton, 6 – Final – Julia Ezepik registered a hat trick to pace Canton’s offense in the win.
Foxboro, 5 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Lily Daly scored a pair of goals and had a pair of assists to lead the Warriors. Foxboro jumped out to a 3-0 lead by halftime behind both of Daly’s goals – one off an assist from Emma Daly, the other unassisted. Sophia DiCenso also scored in the first half on an assist from Lily Daly. Jenna Stamatov and Carlie Stern scored one for Foxboro and Caroline Wheatley added an assist.
Franklin, 0 @ Mansfield, 0 – Final – Franklin head coach Lisa Cropper had high praise for sophomore goalie Christina Lucini, who made 12 saves to earn the shutout. “She was outstanding,” Cropper said. Cropper also lauded the effort of senior Maddie Derby, who she called “a stalwart on defense,” which included a defensive save behind Lucini.
Stoughton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – Stoughton’s Gianna Barbosa and North Attleboro’s Liz Morehouse earned the shutouts in goal.

Jack Goyetch added a 40 while Jackson Maffeo, Joey Vaughan and Bubba McNeice each shot 41. Stoughton’s Josh Roos and Brendan Campbell each carded a round of 44 for the Black Knights.

Franklin, 2 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Farley Asmath scored both goals for the Panthers, with both coming in the second half. Asmath’s first strike in the 56th minute came off an assist from Hatim Brahimi. Asmath then earned a penalty in the final minutes and converted in the 78th minute for his second goal. Fred Beckmann earned the shutout in net.
Mansfield, 3 @ Sharon, 2 – Final – Mansfield scored a goal two minutes into the game and one in the final minute of the game to clip the Eagles. James Chotkowski scored early off a service from Max Gurnon but Sharon tied it before half. Mansfield opened the second half when James Cooney headed in a cross from Chotkowski three minutes into the second half but Sharon tied the game with just over three minutes to go. But Mansfield had an answer as Gurnon scored the game winner a minute later on cross from Jackson Murphy. Mansfield goalie Jed Tolbert made 10 saves in net for the Hornets.
Stoughton, 1 vs. Norwood, 0 – Final – The Black Knights used a late second half goal to edge Norwood and earn their first win of the season. Matheus Santos took a feed from Jordan Asnes and beat Norwood’s goalie from the top of the area for his first career goal. Head coach Aaron Salter said goalie Matt Gallagher played excellent and deserved the clean sheet.

Sharon, 1 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – Mansfield had five different goal scorers on Wednesday. Allee Bezeau, Stephanie Kemp, Emma Goulet, Cassidy McMahon, and Hannah Reiter all scored for the Hornets. Emily Vigeant and Emma Oldow each had two assists for Mansfield.

Canton, 1 @ King Philip, 2 – Final – Canton took the lead in the first half with Andrea McNeil converting off a corner but KP rallied for a pair of second half goals to get the win. Liz Furfari tied the game at the 23 minute mark off an assist from Nicole Connor. The Warriors found the winner with just three minutes left when Alli Meehan scored off a penalty corner from Christina Hathaway.
Foxboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Caroline Lounsbury scored the opening goal with 17:55 left in the first half off an assist by Cassi Ronan and it turned out to be the game-winner for Franklin. Brayden Downing scored two minutes later on an assist from Annie Walsh and then Walsh made it 3-0 early in the second half off an assist by Maeve Ledwith. Christina Lucini earned the shutout in goal with three saves.
Stoughton, 1 @ Mansfield, 5 – Final – Mansfield had five different goal scorers in the win.
North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames’ offense kept knocking on the door but North Attleboro goalie Liz Morehouse wouldn’t break, notching 14 saves in an impressive performance. “OA had a variety of pressure on the net…flicks, drives aerials and she stopped them all,” North head coach Karen Folan said. Katherine Munley also had a big defensive stop late in the game for North Attleboro. Katie Davenport and Katie Vamosi anchored Oliver Ames’ defensive effort while Dimitra Efremidis and Kendall Clifford played well in the midfield for OA according to coach Abby Tepper, who also noted the strong game by Morehouse.

Attleboro, 184 @ Franklin, 159 – Final – The Panthers got an even par 35 from captain Bryan Woelfel and a 40 from Eric Civetti. Attleboro was led by Corey McKenna, who shot a 42.
Taunton, 174 @ Oliver Ames, 149 – Final – Brady Allbritton led the Tigers with a round of 35, while Ryan McGarry shot a 36, Thomas Walsh shot a 37, and Tate Hadges shot a 41 for OA. Taunton got a 38 from Mike Volkman and a 42 from Jake Crawford.

Haley Guertin scored an unassisted goal to tie it for North eight minutes later. With eight minutes remaining, Kayla Pasquel won the game for the Rocketeers with an unassisted goal.
King Philip, 3 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Milford coach Jay Mastaj credited Rachel LeBlanc with a solid game on defense for the Hawks.
Volleyball
Mansfield, 2 @ Canton, 3 – Final – In a battle between defending division champions, the match went the full distance. Canton emerged with a 25-23, 20-25, 12-25, 25-22, 15-9 win over the Hornets. Hannah Jerrier led the Bulldogs’ attack with 12 kills while Erika Lum and Cassie Loftus combined for 13 kills from the weak side. Nicole Poole put Canton’s offense in motion with 32 assists while Emma Murphy had an outstanding night defensively at the net with nine blocks. Head coach Pat Cawley also noted the strong defensive games from Maria Mackie and Emily Lynch. For Mansfield, Emily Kleber had seven kills, Julia Harrison has 11 kills and 12 digs and Meg Hill had 14 kills and six blocks.
Golf
Foxboro, 178 @ King Philip, 168 – Final – Sebastian Ladoulis of KP was the low round of the match shooting a 41. Foxboro’s Logan Sloan was a co-medalist, also shooting a 41 on the day.
North Attleboro, 156 @ Sharon, 160 – Final – Sharon’s Max Avratin had the low round of the match with an even par 36. David Colasanti led North with a 37.

Taunton, 2 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – Alex Rabb opened the scoring for Sharon and then Ally Filipkowski added a second with a shot to the top corner before halftime. Alexis Faria and Sam Tichelaar scored second half goals for Taunton to tie the game, but Sharon earned a penalty with seconds left and Alex Rabb scored it for the win.

Canton, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – The Bulldogs won 25-17, 25-16, and 25-12 in the season opener. Nicole Poole paced Canton’s offense with 27 assists, five kills and five aces. Middle blockers Emma Murphy and Casey Shea each had six kills and libero Julia Panico has 21 digs. Outside hitter Hannah Jerrier had a good night in her first ever high volleyball match with five kills. For Attleboro, Lexi Pereira had six kills and Jenny St. Hilaire had 13 service points, including four aces.
Mansfield, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – The Hornets picked up the sweep on the road, winning 25-19, 25-19, 26-18. Jess Haradon had 14 digs and 11 service points for Mansfield while Meg Hill had eight kills and 10 service points and Chloe Peters had 11 service points and 23 assists.
Milford, 2 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – In a marathon of a match, King Philip rallied from a two-set deficit to win in a thrilling fifth seth. King Philip won 22-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 22-20. Sydney Phillips led the Warriors with 19 kills while Emma Lopez added 16 kills. Carly Adams had 38 assists while Amanda Loewen had eight digs for the Warriors.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – The Panthers had nine corners, 24 shots on goal and didn’t allow a single shot on goal defensive in the win over North. Caroline Lounsbury gave Franklin the lead midway through the first half on a cross from Brayden Downing, sophomore Annie Walsh doubled the lead with an unassisted goal and sophomore Cassi Ronan capped the scoring off a corner from Walsh.
Milford, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – Alli Meehan led the way for King Philip with a pair of goals and an assist. Christina Hathaway scored a beautiful goal from a penalty corner to start the game for the Warriors while Caitlin Donahue scored a hard shot from the left. Dana Truini had two assists and Liz Furfari added one for KP.

Sarah Stevens, Kayla Lozzi, Cristina Boudreau, and Kendall Clifford each scored once for the Tigers while Stevens added two helpers and Dimitra Efremidis had one assist. Head coach Abby Tepper said Katie Davenport, Sarah Tetrault and Erin McCormack had strong defensive games for the Tigers.

Attleboro, 177 @ North Attleboro, 155 – Final – The Rocketeers had the top four finishes in the match with Dylan Kane earning match medalist by shooting a 36. Robbie Congdon added a 37 for North while David Colsanti and Thomas Puccio each shot 40. Attleboro’s Corey McKenna shot a team-best 43.
Foxboro, 199 @ Mansfield, 165 – Final – Mansfield senior Jason Hindman led the way for the Hornets, shooting a 35, a league-best so far this season. David Norris added a 41 and Madison Haughey added a 44 for Mansfield.
Canton, 167 @ Taunton, 183 – Final – Canton senior Matt Minichiello was the match medalist, carding a 39 on the day while junior Danny Powers shot a 42 for the Bulldogs. Taunton’s Mike Volkmann and Justin Proto each shot 42 for the Tigers.
