Stoughton, 23 @ Sharon, 1 – Final (5 inn.) – Sophomore Alyssa Edwards hit for the cycle to lead Stoughton to its second win over Sharon in as many days. Edwards had a single, a double, two triples, and a home run to finish a perfect 5-for-5, driving in two runs. Melody Casna also went 5-for-5 on the day, Julie Powers had three hits and Camryn Whitman smacked a two-run home run. Kerry Driscoll earned her 11th win of the season, allowing four hits and three strikeouts.

Mansfield, 5 @ Boston Latin Academy, 2 – Final – Mansfield came out on fire, scoring four runs in the top of the first, and earned a win in the first of two meetings between these teams in a 24-hour span. Julia Kelly struck out 11 and scattered eight hits to pick up the win. Callie Lake, who had two of Mansfield’s six hits, led off the game with a walk. Cat Kipp followed with a single, Olivia DeTrolio walked, and Alanna Conley singled. Kelly tripled to clear the bases and make it 4-0. Boston Latin got one back in the bottom half of the inning and another in the third to cut the lead to two, but the Hornets added an insurance run in the fifth. Conley walked and moved to second on a wild pitch, before coming home on a sac bunt by Liv Madeira. The two teams will face-off again on Wednesday in Mansfield’s regular season finale.

Girls Lacrosse
Canton, 16 vs. Norwood, 8 – Final – Canton had eight different players find the back of the net to secure a win over Norwood in its second to last game of the regular season. Devan Spinale led the offense with five goals and an assist while Emily McCabe added four goals and an assist for the Bulldogs, who led 8-3 at halftime. Elyse Broderick made nine saves in net for the win.

Franklin, 14 vs. Moses Brown (RI), 7 – Final – Franklin capped its regular season by doubling up on Moses Brown the top team in Rhode Island, with a 14-7 decision. Jackie O’Neil filled in admirably in a midfield role, scoring five goals with two assists and three draw controls to lead the charge. Kate O’Rourke (two goals, two assists) surpassed 100 career goals in the win, Katie Peterson added a hat trick and one assist, and Stella Regan (one goal, two assists) had a strong game in the midfield with five draw controls. Katie Ryan and Lindsay Atkinson each added a goal in the win. Jamie Tanner and Anna Grasso both played well defensively in front of Brigid Earley (10 saves).

Boys Tennis
Franklin, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Franklin swept both doubles matches and added another win in singles action to edge out host Foxboro. Vayshnav Malhotra won in straight sets for the Panthers’ lone singles win while senior Thomas Broyles and Tim O’Keefe didn’t drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 first singles verdict, and sophomores Ahan Shetty and Jay Gorgas dropped just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 second doubles win. Foxboro’s Bo Canfield and Raj Jetty won at second and third singles, respectively.

Taunton @ Durfee, 4:00

Canton, 2 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – In a continued match from last week, Mansfield secured a 3-2 win over Canton behind a doubles sweep and one singles win. Jesse Colchamiro and Nikhil Nain earned a 6-4, 6-0 win at first doubles for the Hornets while Josh Weiner and Jacob Weiner took care of business with a 6-0, 6-2 win at second doubles. Mansfield sophomore Iniyan Karruppusami added a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles to clinch the win. Canton senior Suraj Ramanathan capped a perfect 16-0 season with a 6-3, 7-5 win at second singles while sophomore Max Kupferman also finished the year undefeated (15-0) with a 6-3, 7-5 win at first singles.

Baseball
Attleboro, 0 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Mansfield didn’t record a hit but took advantage of its opportunity to steal a win over visiting Attleboro. Jimmy Gilleran led off the fourth with a walk, moved to second after Conner Zukowski was hit by a pitch, took third after a pop up, and scored on an error for the lone run of the game. Anthony Sacchetti did the rest, tossing a complete game shutout with six hits allowed and no walks, striking out seven for the win. Parker Sackett had a terrific outing in the loss, tossing a six-inning no-hitter with three walks and a pair of strikeouts. Junior Cooper Johnson had two hits, including a double, for the Bombardiers and one stolen base.

Foxboro, 6 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Each team scored in three innings but it was the visiting Warriors that took advantage of two runs in each the second, fourth, and fifth innings to secure a win over Canton. Canton sandwiched a pair of runs around Foxboro’s two runs in the top of the second, taking a 2-2 game into the fourth inning. Foxboro jumped back ahead after an RBI ground out from freshman Mike Marcucella and an RBI single from senior Jack Watts in the fourth. In the top of the fifth, both Ryan LeClair (single) and Sean O’Leary (walk) got on before Canton recorded back-to-back outs. Liam Mulkern (3-for-3, two runs, two RBI) came through with a clutch hit, sending a two-out single to center to bring both runs in to make it 6-2. Canton got a run back in the bottom half on an RBI single from Jack Digirolamo to score Andy Butler (walk), but the Bulldogs couldn’t get a run across in the final two innings. Foxboro freshman Nolan Gordon improved to 7-0 on the season, allowing three runs on nine hits and three walks, striking out seven in six innings of work. Matheiu Sullivan earned the save, retiring the side in order in the seventh.

Franklin, 16 @ King Philip, 5 – Final (6 Inn.) – Scoreless after two innings of play, Franklin’s offense came roaring to life over the final four innings, scoring a season-high 16 runs in a win on the road over King Philip to clinch sole possession of the Kelley-Rex division title. Evan Raider hit a one-out double with the bases loaded to get the offense started, putting the Panthers ahead 3-0 in the top of the third. King Philip had the answer early as sophomore Travis Crawford singled in a run and junior Rudy Gately followed with a two-run double, but Franklin’s offense couldn’t be stopped the rest of the way. After scoring three more runs in the fourth, Franklin used three straight singles from Ben Jarosz, Joe Tirrell, and Ryan Gerety (4-for-4, four runs) to score three runs, and two at-bats later, Chris Goode smoked a two-run double to center to make it 11-4. The Panthers pushed across five more in the sixth as Jase Lyons and Eisig Chig had back-to-back RBI doubles, Tirrell brought a run in on a sac fly, and Goode added two more RBI with a double.

Milford, 2 @ Taunton, 12 – Final (6 Inn.)

North Attleboro, 10 @ Oliver Ames, 11 – Final – In a back-and-forth, see-saw battle, Oliver Ames scored the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the seventh, taking the win on a walk-off walk from sophomore Ian Kelly. The Tigers had it going early, scoring first in the bottom of the second, exploding for four runs in the third (highlighted by a two-out, two-run triple from Jack Muir, who had three hits), and then three more in fourth (including an RBI triple from Jake Waxman and an RBI double from Muir) to create a 8-1 lead. That lead quickly vanished when North’s offense erupted for seven runs in the top of the fifth inning, with Derek Maceda (three hits, two runs, two RBI) driving in a run with a single, Gavin Wells scoring on a passed ball, Danny Curran knocking in two with a single to right, Dillon Harding making it a one-run game with a triple to right, and Gio Martello tying the game at 8-8 with a double to center. But it didn’t take long for Oliver Ames to regain the lead as senior Jack Richardson smacked a two-out double in the bottom half to make it 9-8. The top of the sixth was North’s turn for offense as Maceda doubled in Tyler Bannon (three hits, two runs, one RBI) to tie it, and three at-bats later, Martello reached on an error and a run came home to make it 10-9. OA stranded the tying run at third in the sixth, but came through in the bottom of the seventh. Nathanial Lewis (three hits, three RBI) led off with a single to center, Richardson was hit by a pitch, and Nathan Carpentier reached on an error to bring in a run to tie the game. After an intentional walk to load the bases, North got the second out on a fielder’s choice with the force out at home, but Kelly drew a full-count walk to score the winning run.

Sharon, 2 @ Stoughton, 9 – Final – Stoughton closed out the season with its best offensive output of the season, taking down rival Sharon 9-1 at home, but as a the away team. The Black Knights scored twice in the first and took a 2-1 lead into the fifth inning where the offense came alive for four runs and stayed hot an inning later with three more in the sixth. Senior Owen Wiesnberger got things started with a two-out, two-run single to bring Anthony Tilton (single) and Anthony Girolamo (error) home for the early edge. Sharon cut the deficit in half in the bottom half on an RBI single from Ryan Baker, but the Eagles’ offense stayed quiet for the rest of the game. In the top of the fifth, Wiesnberger and Joe McNulty earned back-to-back bases loaded walks to bring in a run each, and senior James Price drove in a pair with a single to left for a 6-1 lead. A two-out error allowed Tilton to reach in the sixth and brought Brad Franey home. Two more Eagle errors turned into two more runs for the Knights. Tilton tossed a complete game for the win, allowing two runs (one earned) on eight hits and no walks, striking out seven.

Softball
Mansfield, 0 @ Attleboro, 6 – Final – Attleboro used a four-run fifth inning to break open a one-run game and pull out the division win on senior night. Lily Routhier tossed a complete game shutout and helped her cause at the dish with three hits and an RBI. Hailey Perry made her return to the lineup and went 3-for-3 with two RBI in her season debut. Rylie Camacho, Lindsey Perry, Sarah Maher, and Lauren Eby all contributed to the offense with hits and RBIs. Mansfield was held to just four hits on the day, getting singles from Callie Lake, Cat Kipp, Casey Moussette, and Alanna Conley.

Canton, 2 @ Foxboro, 5 – Final – Vittoria Cuscia tossed a complete game and Peyton Feldman drove in a pair of runs as Foxboro knocked off visiting Canton. Cuscia struck out seven to get the win while Feldman collected a pair of hits and a pair of RBI in the win. Sophomore Fiona Dunn added two hits for the Warriors. For Canton, Sophia Santos pitched well with six strikeouts. Chloe Guerschuny had a hit and a run scored, Jess Wright had a hit and an RBI, and Taylor Reynolds added a double for the Bulldogs.

King Philip, 10 @ Franklin, 1 – Final – King Philip picked up its 18th win of the season, jumping out to a 4-0 lead through the first three innings and then tacking on six more between the fifth and sixth on the road at Franklin. Freshman Liv Petrillo got the scoring started with an RBI single in the second, and in the third, Meg Sherwood and Taylor Regan had back-to-back sacrifice flies before Charlotte Raymond (3-for-3) drove in another run with a single. Sherwood led off the fifth with a deep solo home run and Maddie Paschke made it 6-0 with a sac fly to right. In the sixth, Regan doubled in a run, Raymond brought one home on a sac fly, Petrillo added an RBI double, and Paschke capped KP’s scoring with an RBI single. Franklin freshman Sarah Boozang smacked a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to score Dana Stott to get the Panthers on the board. Emma Sheehan got the win for the Warriors, allowing one run on eight hits and two walks, striking out five in a complete game effort.

Taunton, 7 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Taunton took the lead in the top of the first and that was enough as freshman Cate Larson and senior Liv Mendonca combined for a one-hitter on the road at Milford. The Tigers scored three runs in the first, one in the second, and three more in the fourth on a total of 12 hits. Taunton’s top three hitters — Kyleah Plumb, Angie Lynch, Kaysie DeMoura — combed for seven of those hits and five of the runs with Lynch (homerun) driving in four runs on the day. Larson tossed two scoreless innings with a strikeout to start the game, allowing one hit. Mendonca tossed the final five innings and was perfect, retiring all 15 batters she faced with four strikeouts.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – OA scored an unearned run in the first inning, but North tied the game in the second and then pushed ahead the winning runs in the fifth to secure another league win. Kelley Colleran struck out 17 and blasted a two-run homer to help North pick up the victory. After OA jumped into the lead, North rallied in the second. Maryellen Charette reached on an infield hit, took second on an Emma Hanwell bunt, and scored on a grounder by Grace Simmons. In the fifth, Simmons got things started with a single and Grace Barry followed by beating out a bunt hit. Ally Levine plated the eventual game-winner with a sac fly, before Colleran stepped up and added two more runs with a homer. Colleran struck out the side in the seventh to close it out.

Stoughton, 17 @ Sharon, 1 – Final (5 inn.) – Stoughton grabbed its 10th win of the season with a league win on the road in Sharon. Kerry Driscoll earned the winning, allowing three hits with four strikeouts in five innings of work, getting exceptional defense behind her from Alyssa Edwards and Madison Hinds. Camryn Whitman led the offense for Stoughton with three hits, including a double, and an RBI while Edwards and Melody Casna each added a single, a double, and combined for five RBI. Kate Bulger chipped in with a three-run triple for the Black Knights.




Boys Lacrosse
Canton, 5 @ Franklin, 25 – Final – Franklin exploded for 20 goals in the first half on its way to a win over visiting Canton, completing another undefeated year against Hock opponents. Jake Davis (three assists) and Jayden Consigli (two assists) each pumped in five goals while John Walshe, Eddie O’Brien, and Ryan Grasso each scored a pair in the first half. Drew Hansen added three first half points with a goal and two helpers and Tyler Sacchetti recorded a goal and five assists.

Foxboro, 17 @ Milford, 3 – Final – Foxboro had nine players find the back of the net in a big win on the road at Milford. Junior Conor Noone led the charge with four goals and four assists while Tommy Sharkey and Lincoln Moore each chipped in with two goals apiece. Freshman John Sacchetti scored a hat trick in the win, Finn Stapleton added a pair of goals and an assist, sophomore Sully Kenneally scored once, and both sophomore Tony Sulham and freshman Aidan Waller

Girls Lacrosse
Taunton, 5 @ Attleboro, 7 – Final – For Taunton, Cali Melo scored a hat trick, Sarah Clark added two goals, and Mel Jesus recorded six saves in net.

Franklin, 17 @ Canton, 1 – Final – The Panthers completed yet another perfect Hock season, going 10-0 against league foes capped with Monday’s big win over Canton. Stella Regan (four goals, one assist) and Kaitlyn Carney (three goals, two assists) paced the offense with five points apiece, Kate O’Rourke (three goals, one assist, six draw controls) and Katie Peterson (one goal, three assists) each had four points, and Jamie Tanner (one goal) played well defensively for the Panthers. Allie McCabe scored for Canton while Elyse Broderick made nine saves in net.

Milford, 4 @ Foxboro, 15 – Final – Foxboro got goals from seven different players to pick up a big win at home and clinch its 10th straight league title. Kate Collins led the attack with six points, scoring three goals and assisting on three others. Paige Curran scored a team-high four goals and added a helper, Cate Noone had a pair of goals and three assists, and Val Beigel scored two and assisted on two. Mary Collins also had a pair of goals, adding an assist as well, while Mya Waryas (one assist) and Grace Riley each found the back of the net once. Audrey Campbell made five saves to secure the win.

North Attleboro, 3 @ King Philip, 19 – Final – King Philip celebrated senior night in grand fashion as Haley Izydorczak became the latest Warrior to hit a career milestone. Izydorczak had four goals to hit the 100-point mark for her career. Izydorczak and fellow seniors Lily Brown, Julia Marsden, Morgan Cunningham, Margo Riley, Colleen crowther, Laura Gelsomini, Rachael Anderson and Ally Peterson played well in the win.

Mansfield, 12 @ Sharon, 3 – Final – For Sharon, Bailey Garta scored a pair and Anna Hertzel added one goal. Tess Letendre had another great game in net for the Eagles, making 15 saves.




Boys Tennis
Mansfield, 4 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final – Mansfield swept all three singles matches and added a fourth win from doubles play to take the win over Attleboro. Kailash Elumelai took the win at first singles (6-3, 6-0), Neema Khosravani added a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at second singles, and Jesse Colchamiro emerged from his match at third singles with a 6-3, 6-1 verdict. Sophomores Iniyan Karruppusami and Nikhil Nain delivered a 6-3, 6-1 win at first doubles for the Hornets. Attleboro’s Luke Hinton and Brady Rosen secured a 6-2, 6-3 win at second doubles.

Canton, 2 @ Foxboro, 3 – Final – With two wins in singles action and one more from doubles, Foxboro fended off visiting Canton with a close 3-2 win. Bo Canfield (6-0, 6-0) and Raj Jetty won in singles action for the Warriors while Ryan Fossella and Luca Meyer secured a 7-5, 6-2 win at first doubles for Foxboro. Canton’s Suraj Ramanathan emerged from first singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win and the team of Davis Lamb and Justin Ngan captured a tight 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4) win at second doubles.

King Philip, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – Franklin defended home court with a sweep and clinched the Kelley-Rex division title outright for the second straight season, and third straight title overall. The Panthers dropped a total of just two games in singles action with seniors Vayshanv Malhotra and Sameen Shaik each winning 6-0, 6-0, and senior Drew Mahoney taking a 6-2, 6-0 decision. Seniors Thomas Broyles and Tim O’Keefe battled to a 6-3, 7-5 win at first doubles, and the sophomore duo of Jay Gorgas and Ahan Shetty secured a 7-6 (4), 6-3 win at second doubles.

Taunton @ Milford, 4:30

Oliver Ames, 4 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – A doubles sweep and two wins from singles action delivered Oliver Ames a 4-1 verdict on the road at North Attleboro. OA seniors Raphael Vache (7-6 (2), 7-5) and Kylash Ganesh (6-0, 6-0) were victorious at second and third singles, respectively, while the team of Patrick Dolan and Alex Efremidas took first doubles (6-1, 6-1), and the tandem of Ben Dias and Alex Vasiliou earned a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 win at second doubles. North Attleboro senior Will Folan captured a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles.

Sharon, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final

Girls Tennis
Attleboro, 3 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Attleboro sophomore Maddie Fuscaldo overcame a one-set deficit to prevail in three, clinching a 3-2 win on the road for the Bombardiers. Fuscaldo dropped a tight first set (4-6) but came back to win two in a row (6-3, 6-2) while senior Ella Lynch-Bartek added a 6-1, 6-1 first singles win and the sophomore tandem of Kyra Johnson and Presley Biller earned a 7-5, 6-2 win at second doubles. Mansfield’s Caroline Guravage captured a 6-2, 6-1 win at third singles while Savannah Grey and Alexis O’Keefe earned a 6-2, 6-4 first doubles win.

Foxboro, 3 @ Canton, 2 – Final – Taking two wins from singles and another from doubles, the Warriors captured a tight 3-2 win on the over Canton. Athena Li continued to dominate at first singles for Foxboro taking a 6-0, 6-0 decision while Hailey Kornbluth added a 6-1, 6-0 second singles win for the Warriors. Foxboro added a third win when Emily Stow and Sydney Lebow secured a 6-3, 6-1 win at second doubles. Canton’s Olivia Maloney earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles and the team of Grace Powers and Olivia Durham gave the Bulldogs a 6-4, 1-6, 10-7 win at first doubles.

Franklin, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – King Philip kept its division title hopes alive with a 4-1 win over Franklin, taking two wins from both singles and doubles action. The Warriors got straight set wins from Ahunna James at first singles (6-3, 6-2) and Shea Mellman at second singles (6-3, 6-1) while Franklin’s Sarah Schiavo secured a 6-2, 6-0 win at third singles. That meant the match would come down to doubles action, and both matches went into a third set. KP ended with winning both as the junior tandem of Priya Riar and Carlie Burns emerged with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win at second doubles to clinch the win. Resha Ajoy and Lauren Casper added a fourth win, prevailed with a 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5) win at first doubles. KP will play Franklin again on Wednesday in a continuation of a rain-delayed match from last week. Franklin will host Foxboro on Tuesday with a chance to clinch at least a share of the division title heading into Wednesday’s clash.

Milford, 1 @ Taunton, 4 – Final

North Attleboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – Final – Oliver Ames closed out the season by earning a 4-1 victory over North Attleboro, finishing the season at 13-3. Freshman Hannah Farber (6-0, 6-2) and senior Elizabeth O’Brien (6-0, 6-1) had the singles wins for the Tigers, at first and third singles, respectively. Morgan Vasiliou and Caroline Peper dropped just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win at first doubles and the team of Olivia Querzoli and Marina Mierzwinski rallied from a one-set deficit to capture a 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-1 win at second doubles. North Attleboro’s Grace Noreck won 6-3, 6-4 at second singles.

Baseball
Attleboro, 1 vs. Needham, 0 – Final – Attleboro freshman Tyler Dunlea had his best outing of the season, allowing just one hit to lead the Bombardiers to a close win over Needham. Dunlea tossed six innings with six strikeouts while Billy Saltmarsh hurled a scoreless seventh with two strikeouts for the save. Offensively, Evan Houle went 2-for-3 and scored the lone run of the day, knocked in by Danny Johnson. Owen Taber, Aiden Hochwarter, and Peter Delpozzo each had a hit for Attleboro.

Canton, 10 vs. Bishop Feehan, 5 – Final – It was a day to remember — and for the record books — for Canton senior Andy Butler. Butler smashed his first career home run, set a new program record for stolen bases in a season, and shut the door with a two-inning save to lead the Bulldogs past the Shamrocks. With Feehan holding a 2-0 lead, Butler launched a three-run shot to left field to give Canton the lead for good. He finished 3-for-4 from the leadoff spot with six RBI. He also stole two bags, breaking the school record of 21. He came on in relief in the sixth inning, getting three strikeouts for the six-out save. Jay Kelleher also had an RBI, two hits and two runs for Canton, who added four runs in the fourth inning and three more in the sixth. Matt Quan added a hit, two runs, and two RBI. Zach Peters got the win on the mound, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks, striking out one in five innings.

Stoughton, 0 @ Milton, 5 – Final – Jonah Ly, Jeriel Cuello, Anthony Tilton, and Anthony Girolamo each had a hit but the Black Knights fell to powerhouse Milton on the road. Hunter Malkin had a solid outing on the mound, allowing five runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk, striking out four.

Foxboro, 3 @ Mansfield, 6 – Final – Buoyed by a pair of home runs, Mansfield captured a key win over rival Foxboro. The Warriors took the lead first, scoring once in the second (RBI single from freshman Ryan O’Leary) and once in the third (RBI single from junior Louis Carangelo) but Mansfield came back to tie in the bottom half of the second on a two-run home run from Jimmy Gilleran. O’Leary collected his second RBI with a single to center to bring senior Liam Mulkern (2-for-3, two runs) home but the Hornets had an answer yet again. Connor Curtis and Jake Maydak drew walks, and the former came home to score on an RBI double from Jared Fraone to tie it 3-3. Two pitches later, pinch-hitter Cian Goulet blasted a three-run home run over the fence in left to make it 6-3. Gilleran earned the win on the mound for the hosts, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks, striking out 10. Tom Marcucella pitched well for Foxboro, scattering six hits and two walks with a strikeout. Canton, 2 vs. Milton, 6 – Final

Milford, 2 @ Mansfield, 14 – Final (5 Inn.) – Callie Lake had three hits and Olivia DeTrolio drove in four runs to help Mansfield pick up a big win on senior night. The Hornets grabbed the lead for good in the bottom of the first. Lake led off with a single and Cat Kipp reached on an error. Casey Mousette drove in a pair of runs with a single and DeTrolio plated one with a hit before coming in to score on a wild pitch. Mansfield broke the game open with five more in the second. Sydney Fernando and Lake singled, Kipp walked, Julia Kelly reached on an error, and DeTrolio hit a big homer that made it 9-0. Milford scored a pair in the third, but the Hornets matched that in the fourth and added three more in the fifth to close things out. Lake finished with two RBI, while Moussette and DeTrolio each had a pair of hits.

Boys Lacrosse
Attleboro, 12 @ Oliver Ames, 8 – Final – Five different players found the back of the net as Attleboro notched a non-league win over Oliver Ames. Harry Wheaton had a tremendous outing in net for the Bombardiers. Wyatt Fritchman and Ben Reardon each scored a hat trick for Oliver Ames while Ryan Jaco and Victor Romeiro each scored once.

Canton, 9 vs. Dedham/Norwood, 10 – Final (3 OT)

Franklin, 17 vs. Bishop Feehan, 9 – Final – Jake Davis proved to be unstoppable for the Feehan defense as the junior exploded for eight goals and two assists to lead the Panthers to a big win over the Shamrocks. Tyler Sacchetti added a goal and four assists, Jayden Consigli notched five goals and five assists, and Drew Hansen had a goal and one helper.

Girls Lacrosse
Canton, 11 @ Whitman-Hanson, 9 – Final – Canton built a one-goal lead by halftime and stayed ahead throughout the second half in a win over Whitman-Hanson. Fay Gallery led the charge offensively for the Bulldogs with four goals while Devan Spinale, Emily McCabe and Allie McCabe each had a pair of goals. Elyse Broderick made 13 saves in net in the win.

Oliver Ames, 13 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final

King Philip, 9 @ Walpole, 16 – Final – King Philip fell short on the road against state powerhouse Walpole on Friday evening. Morgan Cunningham had one goal and four assists, registering her 100th career point in the process. Lily Brown (assist) and Julia Marsden each scored three goals for KP.

Mansfield, 12 @ Brookline, 9 – Final

Boys Tennis
Oliver Ames, 3 vs. Milton, 2 – Final – After dropping a match to Milton a week ago, Oliver Ames came back to avenge the loss and get the win by the same score. In similar fashion to the first meeting, the match came down to the second doubles match and this time the duo of Alex Vasiliou and Ben Dias emerged from a extremely competitive match with a 2-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (3) win.

North Attleboro, 9 @ Milford, 2 – Final – Buoyed by a big start, North Attleboro went on the road and returned home from Fino Field with a 9-2 win over Milford. The Rocketeers scored three runs in each of the first two innings and then tacked on single runs in three straight innings to get the win. Tyler DeMattio brought in the first run in the top of the first with a sacrifice fly and Jordan Paradis drove in two runs with a single to center to an early 3-0 lead. The Big Red doubled the advantage in the top of the second right after David Floyd escaped a bases-loaded situation in the bottom half of the first. DeMattio drew a bases loaded walk to bring in a run and Danny Curran followed with a two-run double to right to make it 6-0. Gio Martello (sac fly), Floyd (bases loaded walk), and DeMattio (sac fly) each brought a run in over the next three innings for North. Grant Scudo had an RBI single and scored after Damien Carter reached on an error. Floyd got the win, tossing four shutout innings with five hits, three walks, and five strikeouts. Paradis pitched three innings in relief with two runs (both unearned) allowed on three hits and a walk, striking out three.

Taunton, 8 vs. New Bedford, 0 – Final

Franklin, 8 vs. Framingham, 6 – Final – Franklin rallied to erase an early deficit and went ahead with a big fifth inning, let the lead slip away, but rallied once again to secure a win over Framingham. The visiting Flyers struck for three runs in the second and once in the top of the fifth to claim a 4-1 lead going into the bottom of the fifth. Franklin’s offense came alive with five runs for a 6-4 lead but that quickly evaporated after Framingham tacked on two runs in the top of the sixth. But once again Franklin responded as Joe Tirrell delivered an RBI triple to score Ben Jarosz (triple) and Ryan Gerety followed with an RBI single to left to put Franklin ahead for good. Gerety had two hits while six other Panthers had one hit, including Evan Raider who had two RBI on the day. Raider, the Panthers’ fourth pitcher, earned the win in relief, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk, striking out four in 2.2 innings of work. Austin Campbell tossed 2.1 scoreless innings in relief early in the game, allowing one hit and two walks with one strikeout.

Softball
Franklin, 3 vs. Abington, 9 – Final

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 17 – Final (5 inn.) – Mandi Hanewich had a big day at the plate and Zoey McDonough was dominant in the circle as the Rocketeers grabbed a big win over Sharon. Hanewich broke the game open in the second inning, blasting a three-run home run as one her four hits on the day. Ally Levine, Grace Simmons and Kelly Colleran had three hits apiece for the Rocketeers. McDonough tossed a no-hitter, retiring 15 of the 16 batters she faced with 10 strikeouts. Offensively, she helped her cause with a three-run home run while Emma Hanwell and Grace Barry each had a double, and Shaelyn Burns reached base three times.

Foxboro, 8 @ Uxbridge, 5 – Final – Foxboro went on the road and knocked off Uxbridge to make it four straight wins. Vittoria Cuscia tossed a complete game for the second straight game, striking out eight in the win. Offensively, she helped her cause with two hits while freshman Ava Hill drove in a pair of runs for the Warriors.

Boys Lacrosse
Milford, 5 @ North Attleboro, 16 – Final – North Attleboro took down visiting Milford and clinched the Davenport division title in the process. Connor Ruppert scored a pair of goals, including the 100th of his career, while Matt Antonetti added two goals and freshman Brady Backner scored three goals.

Mansfield, 4 @ Foxboro, 8 – Final – Conor Noone and Lincoln Moore each had five points as Foxboro doubled up on rival Mansfield. Noone had two goals along with three helpers while Moore scored a hat trick and added two assists in the win. Jack Avery and John Sacchetti each had a goal while Nate Urman made three saves in the fourth quarter for Foxboro.

Girls Lacrosse
Canton, 11 @ North Attleboro, 10 – Final

Sharon, 7 @ Milford, 10 – Final – Milford erased an early deficit to tie the game by halftime, and then outscored the visiting Eagles to secure a win on senior night. Milford scored the first goal of the second half to make it 5-4 but two straight from Sharon put the visitors back in front with 12 minutes to go. Milford came right back with four straight goals to take the lead for good. Sharon cut the deficit down to two late but Emily Croteau put the game away with a late goal.

North Attleboro @ Oliver Ames – Postponed

Franklin, 5 @ King Philip, 0 – Final – Franklin beat both the rain and rival King Philip, taking a 5-0 sweep on the road to clinch at least a share of the Kelley-Rex division title. The Panthers took all five matches in straight sets with Vayshanv Malhotra (6-1, 6-2), Sameen Shaik (6-1, 6-0), and Drew Mahoney (6-2, 6-1) taking care of business in singles action, and the teams of Thomas Broyles and Tyler Fitzpatrick (first doubles, 6-2, 6-3) and Jay Gorgas and Ahan Shetty (second doubles, 6-3, 7-5) sweeping doubles action.

Mansfield, 4 @ West Bridgewater, 1 – Final – Mansfield took both doubles matches and two more victories in singles action to sweep the season series against non-league foe West Bridgewater. Freshman Neema Khosravani earned a straight set win at second singles, dropping just two games on his way to a 6-1, 6-1 verdict while sophomore Iniyan Karruppusami prevailed from a hard-fought battle at third singles with a 7-5, 6-4 win. The team of Jonah Fine and Nikhil Nain earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at first doubles and Jacob Weiner and Josh Weiner rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 win at second doubles.

Girls Tennis
Canton, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final – Behind two wins from both singles and doubles action, Foxboro earned a division win over Canton at home. Athena Li rolled at first singles 6-0, 6-0 while Hailey Kornbluth added a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles. The team of Abby Costa and Juliana Preston secured a 6-4, 6-2 win at first doubles for the Warriors and Emily Stow and Sydney Lebow added a 6-4, 6-2 win at second doubles. Canton’s Olivia Maloney emerged from a hard-fought, competitive match at third singles with a 5-7, 7-6 (4), 10-7 win.

Attleboro, 1 @ King Philip, 15 – Final (5 Inn.) – King Philip got off to a great start offensively with seven runs in the first inning and never looked back in a big win over visiting Attleboro. The Bombardiers struck first in the top of the first inning but the Warriors responded with seven runs in the first, five more in the second, and three in the third to take a 15-1 verdict. The Bombardiers scored without a hit in the first, an error followed by a fielder’s choice allowed the visitors to stake the early lead. KP scored all seven of its runs in the first with two outs, getting two-run singles from each Matt Kelley and Max Robison. The Warriors added five more in the second with two outs as well with Matt DiFiore, Eli Reed, and Brendan Sencaj singling in a run each. Quin Garstka earned the win for the Warriors, allowing just one hit (leadoff single in the fourth) with no walks and five strikeouts.

Sharon, 8 @ Canton, 13 – Final – Canton exploded for six runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth to pull away from Sharon, who acted as the home squad for the game. Junior Matt Chafin went 3-for-3 with a walk, scoring all four times he reached base and Jack Digirolamo (two runs, three RBI), Hayden Rose (four RBI), and Matt Quan (run, two RBI) each added two hits in the win. For Sharon, Will Hippler went 3-for-3 with a walk, three runs and two RBI and both Conbor Blaney and Eli Greenfield drove in a pair of runs for the Eagles. Junior Alex Coughlin pitched well in relief for Sharon, allowing one run on four hits and one walk, striking out three in 2.2 innings out of the pen.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Foxboro, 9 – Final – Foxboro made it five straight wins with a 9-1 decision over visiting Oliver Ames, making it four straight games the Warriors have limited the opposition to just a single run. Sean O’Leary earned the win on the mound for the Warriors, allowing just one run on two hits and three walks, striking out eight for the win. Matheiu Sullivan had one of his best performances of the season, tossing 3.2 scoreless innings in relief with a pair of strikeouts. The Warriors wasted little time to get the offense going, plating five runs in the first inning before tacking on insurance runs in the fifth (three) and the sixth (one) innings. Ryan LeClair tripled on Foxboro’s second at-bat, driving in Jack Watts, and then scored on a single from O’Leary. Sophomore Tyler Prescott had an RBI single and then Louis Carangelo (double) and Prescott both came around to score on separate wild pitches. Kenny Mello and Mike Marcucella each added an RBI single in the fifth and Tom Marcucella had a sac fly in the sixth. OA’s Jake Waxman smacked a solo home run in the fourth for OA’s first hit of the game.

Franklin, 12 @ Milford, 0 – Final (5 inn.) – Holding a 3-0 lead after four innings, Franklin found its groove in the fifth and exploded for nine runs to secure a win at Fino Field. Eisig Chin had an RBI double early in the fifth, Evan Raider blasted a two-run triple, and Jacob Crisileo had a two-out RBI triple to give the Panthers a 12-0 lead. Jack Marino (two RBI, run) Jase Lyons (two runs, RBI), and Joe Tirrell (two RBI) also had two hits for the Panthers. James Kuczmiec tossed a five-inning complete game shutout for the Panthers, allowing a pair of hits and walks to go along with four strikeouts to get the win. Sophomore Keith Lee went 2-for-2 for the Scarlet Hawks.

Mansfield, 0 @ Taunton, 6 – Final – Ryan MacDougall, Colin Botelho, and Dawson Bryce combined to toss a shutout as Taunton avenged a loss to Mansfield from earlier this year with a 6-0 verdict at home. MacDougall got the win, scattering four hits and three walks to go along with a pair of strikeouts. Botelho (one hit) and Bryce (one walk, one strikeout) each pitched a scoreless inning in relief to help the Tigers close out the win. After MacDougall pitched out of a bases loaded situation in the top of the first, Taunton took the lead with one run in the bottom half. MacDougall hit a two-out double and scored when Bryce got a hit to fall into right. Braden Sullivan led off the third with a triple and scored on a single from MacDougall, AJ Lewis added an RBI double and Shawn Cali singled in a third run for Taunton to make it 4-0. Botelho knocked in a run with a single to right in the sixth and Lewis grabbed another RBI with a single to right.

Stoughton, 3 @ North Attleboro, 6 – Final – Stoughton pushed across three runs in the fourth inning to take a 3-2 lead but North responded with four runs in the bottom of the fifth to get the win and clinch the Davenport division title outright. Christian Bates earned a leadoff walk, stole second, took third on an error, and scored the tying run on a single from Kyle Conroy. Tyler DeMattio added an RBI double to put the Rocketeers ahead, and Dillon Harding brought in two runs after reaching on an error to make it 6-3. Tyler Bannon earned the win for North, allowing three runs on four hits and no walks, striking out nine in a complete game effort. Derek Maceda and Danny Curran each added two hits in the win for North. Jonah Ly went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Stoughton while Anthony Tilton and Dom Belle each drove in a run.

King Philip, 7 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – King Philip earned a shutout win on the road over Attleboro to clinch the Kelley-Rex division title for the first time since 2018. Sophomore Jordan Bennett had another stellar outing in the circle, allowing just three hits and one walk, striking out eight in a complete game shutout effort for the win. The Warriors pushed a pair of runs across the plate in the second and went on to score in each of the next three innings, punctuated with a three-run fifth. Mia Bennett opened the scoring with an RBI double and Maddie Paschke followed with an RBI single up the middle for a 2-0 lead. Ava Lanza drove in a run in the third to make it 3-0 and Bennett dropped a squeeze bunt down in the fourth to plate Taylor Regan. Meg Sherwood extended KP’s lead with an RBI single to right to bring Sarah Cullen home, and then Regan followed with her second hit of the day, a line drive single to right to bring both Ava Kelley and Lanza home.

Sharon, 2 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Taylor Reynolds had two hits and an RBI, Emily Ciampa had a hit and an RBI, and Gillian Gordon scored a run as Canton secured a close win over visiting Sharon. Jessica Vo had a solid game defensively in right for the Bulldogs, and Sophia Santos was the winning pitcher, striking out four. For Sharon, Ally Foulsham had two hits, Ciara McAuliffe played a strong game defensively behind the plate, and Trinity Payne struck out six in four innings of work.

Foxboro, 12 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final (6 inn.) – Foxboro exploded for eight runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back in a win on the road at Oliver Ames, earning a season sweep of the Tigers. Freshman Vittoria Cuscia tossed a complete game shutout for the Warriors with three strikeouts, and helped her cause at the plate with a hit and an RBI. Peyton Feldman went 3-for-5 from the leadoff spot with three runs scored and two RBI, Allie Willis added two RBI, and Natalia Leach drove in three runs for the Warriors.

Milford, 2 @ Franklin, 10 – Final – Milford jumped ahead with two runs in the top of the third but Franklin quickly responded with seven runs in the bottom half and went on to secure a big win over the visiting Scarlet Hawks. Sophomore Camille Bonina launched a two-run home run in the top of the third to put Milford ahead 2-1. In the bottom half, Franklin had its first five batters reach base including a two-run double from Hailey Fales as the Panthers jumped back ahead 4-2. Avery Chalk and Dana Stott had back-to-back RBI singles and Katy Liberman smacked a two-out, two-run double to push Franklin’s lead to 8-2. Junior Kiera Kotwicki earned the win for the Panthers, allowing two runs on seven hits and no walks, striking out four in a complete game effort.

Taunton, 13 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final (6 Inn.) – Taunton bounced back after losing two of its last three games by picking up a big win at Mansfield. The Tigers finished with 19 hits as a team, including nine extra-base hits, and scored five runs in the second and four in the third to break the game open. Ava Venturelli was 2-for-5 with a homer, a double, and four RBI, while Kaysie DeMoura also was 2-for-5 with a homer and drove in three. Taunton got good production from the bottom of the order, including Kylie Thorpe, who was 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Liv Mendonca and Cate Larson combined to pick up the win. The Hornets got their lone run in the third inning. Amanda Schwarz singled and courtesy runner Sydney Fernando took second on a wild pitch before crossing the plate on a Callie Lake double. Mansfield finished with seven hits as a team.

North Attleboro, 4 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final (8 Inn.) – Freshman Maryellen Charette drove in the game-winning run in the top of the eighth and Kelly Colleran made it stand up by striking out the side in the bottom half to secure the win and clinch the outright league title for North. Zoey McDonough started the winning rally with an infield hit and took second on the throw. Shaelyn Burns singled to move McDonough to third and Charette followed with a hit of her own to bring in the go-ahead run. Colleran went the distance in the circle and struck out 16 hitters. Charette, Burns, and Grace Simmons each had two hits, while Colleran scored twice and McDonough had a pair of RBI.

Sharon, 2 @ Canton, 15 – Final – Canton had seven different scorers to pick up its 10th win of the season, sweeping the season series with the Eagles. Emily McCabe was the spark plug for the Bulldogs, scoring five goals. Ella Yeaton added a hat trick for Canton and Elyse Broderick made nine saves. Bailey Garte scored both of Sharon’s goals and Tess Letendre had a big game, making 14 saves in the loss.

Franklin, 9 vs. Notre Dame Academy, 7 – Final

Foxboro, 11 @ Natick, 8 – Final – Foxboro pulled out a big non-league win at Natick to build momentum for the postseason. Val Beigel led the Warriors with four goals and Paige Curran finished with a hat trick and four assists. Mary Collins added two goals and an assist, while Cate Noone and Grace Riley each found the back of the net once. Mya Waryas had an assist and Audrey Campbell made nine stops in the win.




Boys Tennis
King Philip, 3 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final – Behind a pair of single wins and one from doubles action, King Philip went on the road and picked up a win over Attleboro. Jonathan Cohen took care of business with a 6-1, 6-3 win at second singles and Jackson Hom captured a 6-1, 6-2 victory at third singles for the Warriors. The team of Leo Manning and Arjun Kullo added KP’s third point, getting a 6-1, 6-2 win at second doubles. Attleboro’s Kyle Neuendorf grabbed a 6-3, 6-2 win at first singles and the duo of Tyler Rocchio and Evan Sousa earned a 7-6, 6-3 win at first doubles.

Sharon, 3 @ Canton, 2 – Final – Sharon swept both doubles matches and added another win from third singles to fend off host Canton. Jacob Stavsky earned a 6-0, 6-0 third singles win, the team of Ruemon Bhattacharyya and Mitch Weiss earned a 6-0, 6-0 first singles victory, and the team of Hyojae Park and Sava Kassev emerged from second doubles with a 6-1, 6-4 verdict. Canton sophomore Max Kupferman and senior Suraj Ramanathan both continued their strong seasons with wins at first singles (6-4, 6-2) and second singles (6-1, 6-1), respectively.

Foxboro, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final

Milford, 0 @ Franklin, 5 – Final – Franklin’s experience was on full display as the Panthers used five seniors in the lineup to knock off visiting Milford. Senior Vayshnav Malhotra and senior Sameen Shaik both won 6-0, 6-0 at first and second singles, respectively, while senior Drew Mahoney earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles. The senior tandem of Thomas Broyles and Tyler Fitzpatrick captured a 6-2, 6-0 win at first doubles and Franklin’s sophomore pairing of Ahan Shetty and Jay Gorgas captured a 6-0, 6-1 win at second doubles.

Taunton, 1 @ Mansfield, 4 – Final – Mansfield used a trio of underclassman to sweep singles action and added a fourth point in a win at second doubles to defend home court against Taunton. Freshman Neema Khosravani captured a 6-3, 6-1 win at first singles, while sophomores Iniyan Karruppusami and Nikhil Nain both won 6-0, 6-0 at second and third singles, respectively. The tandem of Jesse Colchamiro and sophomore Dhruv Jain added a 6-1, 6-0 second doubles win for the Hornets. Taunton’s first doubles pairing of senior Andrew Letourneau and junior Derek Deseault battled to a 6-3, 5-7, 10-8 win.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Stoughton, 2 – Final – Behind a three-set victory at first doubles, North Attleboro returned home from Stoughton the victorious side of a 3-2 match. Junior Griffin Rodden and sophomore Quinn DiFiore won the first set but Stoughton took the second, sending it to a third set. Rodden and DiFiore had their best set of the match and prevailed with the win (6-4, 4-6, 6-1). North senior Will Folan captured a 6-0, 6-2 win at first singles and junior Brody Carter took a 6-1, 6-0 verdict at second singles. Stoughton senior Anish Sinha earned a 6-4, 6-3 win at third singles.

Girls Tennis
Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – Final – In a battle of two of the top teams in the Kelley-Rex division, King Philip took a clean sweep over visiting Attleboro. Ahunna James (6-4, 6-1), Shea Mellman (6-0, 6-0), and Caroline Freese (6-1, 6-2) swept the singles matches for the Warriors. Resha Ajoy teamed up with Lauren Casper and emerged from a 90-minute battle to take a 6-4, 2-6, 6-0 victory at first doubles, and the pairing of Priya Riar and Carlie Burns used their strong chemistry to capture a 6-2, 6-2 win at second doubles for KP.

Canton, 0 @ Sharon, 5 – Final – Sharon took three matches in straight sets and two more in third-set tiebreakers to earn a 5-0 sweep of visiting Canton. In a great battle at first singles, sophomore Navya Shukla emerged with a hard-fought win over Canton freshman Camila Cutter (7-5, 4-6, 10-8). Sharon’s Sophia Oh and Ritu Sreeram also prevailed in a tiebreaker, taking a win at first doubles (6-2, 4-6, 10-6). Sharon’s Ale Aguilar won 6-2, 6-4 at second singles, Judy Song added a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at third singles, and Jenny Sand teamed up with Alina Hou for a 6-1, 6-2 second doubles victory.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Foxboro, 2 – Final – Oliver Ames swept both doubles matches and got a key win in singles action from a senior to take a 3-2 verdict on the road at Foxboro. Senior Elizabeth O’Brien played a very smart and consistent match to take a 6-2, 6-2 win at third singles for the Tigers’ lone point in singles action. The senior pairing of Morgan Vasiliou and Caroline Peper were strong at the net in a 6-3, 6-2 win and the duo of Marina Mierzwinski and Olivia Querzoli also won in straight sets (6-3, 6-3) for OA. Foxboro’s Athena Li continued to shine at first singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win while Hailey Kornbluth took a 6-1, 6-0 win at second singles for the Warriors.

Milford, 12 @ Norwood, 14 – Final – Milford pulled level with just a couple of minutes left in the contest but a quick three goal surge from Norwood proved to be the difference. The Mustangs played from ahead throughout the game but then Hawks pulled even at 11-11 with six minutes to go. But Norwood responded with a 3-0 burst and that ended up as the difference as the two squads split the season series. Emily Croteau led the way with four goals, two assists and a strong showing on ground balls. Aislinn Bennett scored five goals to tie the program’s all-time scoring record (held by Emily Haley) with 107 goals. Aliza Syed, Stephanie Goulet and Carly Haley had one goal apiece for Milford and Caitlyn Bangert made seven saves.

Oliver Ames, 4 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Oliver Ames freshman Hannah Farber rallied from a one-set deficit to take the second set in a tiebreaker and then the match in a third-set tiebreaker, helping the Tigers take a 4-1 win over North Attleboro. Farber secured a 1-6, 7-2 (2), 13-11 win while Elizabeth O’Brien added a 6-0, 6-1 third singles win for OA. Caroline Peper and Morgan Vasiliou continued their strong season with a 6-1, 6-4 first doubles victory, and the tandem of Marina Mierzwinski and Olivia Querzoli earned a 6-0, 6-4 win at second doubles. North Attleboro’s Grace Noreck captured a 6-3, 6-1 win at second singles.

Taunton, 4 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Taunton took two wins from both singles and doubles action to secure a win on the road over Milford. Senior Kayla Parrett battled to a 7-6 (1), 6-0 win at first singles and junior Brooke Bell took a 6-1, 6-4 victory at second singles for the Tigers. The team of sophomores Morgan Smith and Janelle Garcia earned a 7-5, 6-1 first doubles victory, and the duo of Sam Parrett and Rylie Roderick emerged from second doubles with a 6-0, 6-0 verdict. Milford junior Serena Borges prevailed with a 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (2) win at third singles.

North Attleboro, 5 @ Canton, 1 – Final – North Attleboro jumped in front with three runs in the third inning and tacked on two key insurance in the top of the seventh to secure a win on the road over Canton. The win clinched at least a share of the Davenport division for the Rocketeers, who would win it outright with one more win or a Foxboro loss. Jack Digirolamo drove in a run on an RBI groundout in the bottom of the first to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead but North took the lead for good with three in the third. Danny Curran reached on an error that allowed Derek Maceda to score, Dillon Harding followed with an RBI sac fly, and Jordan Paradis had a one-out RBI single to give the visitors the 3-1 edge. in the top of the seventh, Maceda and Tyler DeMattio had back-to-back singles and both scored on a base hit from Curran to make it 5-1. Curran got the win on the mound as well, allowing just the one run on six hits and four walks, striking out four in 3.1 innings of work. Harding came on in relief and tossed 3.1 scoreless innings with three hits allowed and two strikeouts.

Sharon, 1 @ Foxboro, 3 – Final – Foxboro freshman Nolan Gordon had another strong outing on the mound and the Warriors’ offense came through with some timely two-out hits to secure a win at home over Sharon. Gordon scattered five hits in 6.1 innings of work, allowing one (unearned) run with one walk and six strikeouts for the win. Sean O’Leary came on for the final two outs to record the save, getting back-to-back outs against the tying run at the plate. Louis Carangelo had a leadoff walk, stole second, and put the Warriors ahead on a two-out double from Tom Marcucella in the bottom of the second. Foxboro doubled its lead an inning later when Ryan LeClair was hit by a pitch with two outs and scored on a double from O’Leary. Sharon got a run back in the top of the fourth when Will Hippler led off with a double, moved to third on a single from Dan Okstein and scored on a grounder from Dylan Labbe that was mishandled. Marcuella drew a two-out walk in the top of the sixth and scored off a triple from Kenny Mello for a key insurance run. Sophomore Luke Meixel pitched well for the Eagles in the loss, allowing three runs on six hits and four walks, striking out three in 5.2 innings of work.

Mansfield, 0 @ Franklin, 4 – Final – Franklin took the lead with a run in the first, added three in the third, and that was enough for junior Alfred Mucciarone as the Panthers prevailed from a tight contest with a win over rival Mansfield. In the bottom of the first, Chris Goode drew a two-out walk, stole second, and then scored on an RBI single up the left side by Evan Raider. The Panthers struck again with two outs in the third as sophomore Henry Digiorgio hit a base-clearing double to left to score Ryan Gerety (walk), Jack Marino (single), and Raider (single) to make it 4-0. Mucciarone tossed a complete game shutout, allowing just three hits — a two-out single in the fourth, a one-out single in the sixth, and a two-out single in the seventh, but none advanced first — and two walks (both in the top of the third) along with 10 strikeouts.

King Philip, 11 @ Milford, 1 – Final – King Philip’s offense roared to life with 11 runs on 14 hits, taking down Milford at Fino in the Warriors’ best offensive output of the month. KP pushed across a pair of runs in the second and third, but blew the game open with five runs in the fourth inning. Max Robison (two hits, stolen base, run) had a leadoff single in the fourth and both Shawn Legere and Brendan Sencaj (3-for-4, three runs, stolen base) were hit by a pitch to load the bases. After a wild pitch brought Robison home, Rudy Gately (RBI, two runs) drove in Legere with a single to right. Matt Kelley (three RBI) followed with a RBI sac fly, Aiden Astorino (two hits, two runs, RBI) smacked a two-out double to bring in a run, and Eli Reed (two hits, three RBI) had a two-out single to make it 9-0. Nick Viscusi got the win on the mound, allowing one run (unearned) on five hits and three walks, striking out for in 4.1 innings of work. Tommy McLeish tossed 1.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts and Legere tossed a scoreless inning in relief as well. Evan Cornelius had a hit, two walks, and an RBI for the Scarlet Hawks.

Stoughton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 12 – Final (5 inn.) – Oliver Ames belted out 14 hits in a balanced attack, putting up eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to secure its third straight win. Every player in the Tigers’ lineup had a hit, including two apiece from Ian Kelly (three RBI), Jake Waxman (three RBI), Jack Richardson (RBI, two runs), Nathan Carpentier (RBI), and Jack Muir (RBI, two runs). Nick Clark pitched all five innings for the Tigers, allowing one run on three hits and two walks, striking out eight. Jonah Ly had two hits for the Black Knights.

Softball
Attleboro, 6 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Attleboro put it all together to secure arguably its biggest win as a program since joining the Hockomock League, knocking off defending state champs Taunton. The Bombardiers had it going pitching, defensively, and offensively to get the win, getting key defensive plays from Lindsey Perry at shortstop and Lauren Eby at second to deny Taunton’s comeback bid. Attleboro did all its damage on the scoreboard in the fourth inning, scoring all six of its runs. Consecutive hits from Perry, Sarah Maher, Lily Routhier, Eby, Kayla Goldrick and a double from Rylie Camacho to make it 5-0 in favor of the visitors. Emily Eby added a two-out single to bring Camacho home to make it 6-0. Routhier pitched five innings for the win, allowing two runs on six hits with three strikeouts. Perry came on for the save, tossing the final two innings.

Canton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 14 – Final (5 Inn.) – North clinched at least a share of its third straight Davenport division title with a shutout of Canton. It is the first time in program history that the Rocketeers have won three straight league titles. Zoey McDonough dominated in the circle, recording 14 strikeouts and allowing only a walk and an infield hit. Ally Levine and Shaelyn Burns led the offense with two hits apiece. Kelly Colleran, Maryellen Charette, Emma Hanwell, Grace Simmons, and McDonough each had a hit and scored twice. Mandi Hanewich had a hit and drive in three, while Mary Rogers had a run scored and drove in a run with a sac fly.

Foxboro, 14 @ Sharon, 0 – Final (6 Inn.) – Emma Callahan went the distance allowing only three hits and striking out four to get the shutout for Foxboro. Callahan also added a pair of hits at the plate. Peyton Feldman sparked the Foxboro offense with four hits, three runs scored, and three stolen bases. Ava Hill also chipped in with a pair of hits.

Franklin, 8 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Franklin rallied with six runs in the top of the seventh inning to come back from a run down and pick up a big road win. Freshman Sarah Boozang delivered the big hit, coming on as a pinch-hitter and smacking a double that plated the tying and the go-ahead runs in the top of the seventh. Juniors Georgia Harvey (run, RBI) and Katy Liberman (two runs) each had two hits on the day while Hannah Cacciapaglia (run) and Julia White (two runs, RBI). Aislinn Lavery got the win, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks, striking out eight for the Panthers. each had a triple. After the Panthers jumped ahead 2-0 in the second, Mansfield answered back with a pair of runs in the third on a Julia Kelly single and Olivia DeTrolio homer. Jill Koppy gave the Hornets their first lead with a solo homer in the fifth, but the Panthers turned the game on its head with a six-run seventh. Callie Lake and Alanna Conley also had hits for Mansfield.

Milford, 0 @ King Philip, 12 – Final (5 inn.) – King Philip scored in each of the five innings, including three runs in the second and five more in the third to secure a win at home over Milford. Senior Meg Sherwood (two runs, double) and sophomore Taylor Regan (two RBI, two runs) each had three hits apiece for the Warriors while Maddie Paschke had a big day at the plate with a pair of hits, including a triple, and three RBI. Senior Mia Bennett added two runs, senior Lauren Hooper had a hit and a run scored, and senior Emma Sheehan added a hit and two RBI at the plate and tossed a shutout in the circle, allowing three hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. Cae Pellegrini had a double and two walks for the Scarlet Hawks.

Oliver Ames, 12 @ Stoughton, 5 – Final – After building a three-run lead over the first three innings, Oliver Ames broke the game open with a six-run fourth inning and secured a 12-5 win over Stoughton, sweeping the season series. Juniors Maddie Homer (3-for-5, two doubles, three runs) and Caitlin Miller (3-for-5, three runs, three RBI led the charge offensively for the Tigers. Freshman Emily Martin added two hits, a run, and an RBI, freshman Devon Morris drove in two runs and scored a run, and sophomore Madison Monteiro went 4-for-5 with an RBI, a double, and a run scored. Sydney Menz (run) and Melody Casna (two runs, RBI) each had a pair of hits for Stoughton.

Franklin, 16 @ Foxboro, 8 – Final – Tommy Sharkey scored half of Foxboro’s goals, while Tony Sulham, Dylan Kerrigan, and Sully Kenneally each netted one for the Warriors. Adam Addeche had a strong game in goal with 10 saves.

Milford, 2 @ King Philip, 19 – Final

North Attleboro, 15 @ Mansfield, 4 – Final – North dominated the draw, as Jared Vacher won 15-of-18, and got big days from a few of its attackers to clinch at least a share of its first league title since 2017. Connor Ruppert led the way in attack with six goals and a pair of assists, while Matt Antonetti scored four times and dished out six helpers. Jack Regan also stepped up offensively with four goals and a hat trick of assists. Ethan McGrath made 11 saves for the Rocketeers.

Oliver Ames, 9 @ Sharon, 13 – Final – Ben Reardon scored four goals and Wyatt Fritchman added three for the Tigers. Ryan Jaco added one for OA and freshman Shawn Teehan scored his first varsity goal. Noah Isleib did his best to keep the Tigers in the game, making 27 saves.

Girls Lacrosse
Attleboro, 4 @ Canton, 14 – Final – Canton jumped out to a 9-1 lead at halftime and got hat tricks from three different players to pick up the home win. Carly Fitzgerald, Ella Yeaton, and Allie McCabe each scored three times for the Bulldogs, while Maggie McCready notched her first career goal. Elyse Broderick made five saves in the win.

Foxboro, 3 @ Franklin, 18 – Final – Franklin earned a big win against fellow division leader Foxboro to close in on another league title. This is the 96th consecutive league win for the Panthers (92nd in a row under head coach Kristin Igoe Guarino). Kaitlyn Carney led the way for the Panthers with six goals. Kate O’Rourke had four goals and pulled down seven draws and Katie Peterson had two goals, three assists, and five draws. Stella Regan added a hat trick, Jackie O’Neil had a pair of goals, and Lindsay Atkinson found the back of the net once for Franklin. Freshman Ella Mahoney made five saves to pick up the win in goal. Cate Noone scored twice and Paige Curran had one goal for the Warriors. Mary Collins had an assist and Audrey Campbell made a pair of saves in the loss.

King Philip, 18 @ Milford, 7 – Final – Julia Marsden scored four times, including the 100th goal of her career, to lead the Warriors to a big road win. Morgan Cunningham and Makenzie McDevitt recorded five points apiece for KP. For Milford, Aislin Bennett (assist) and Emily Croteau each scored twice, Carley Haley had one goal and one assist, Jordan Douglas and Stephanie Goulet each scored once and Fiona Jordan had one assist. Caitlyn Bangert made 10 saves in net for the Hawks.

The team of Brady Rosen and Connor Coleman claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win at second doubles for Attleboro’s lone win in straight sets. Ethan Johnson prevailed with a 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 win at second singles while Tyler Rocchio earned a 6-1, 2-6, 6-1 victory at third singles. Arnav Sodhani and Evan Sousa overcame a one-set deficit for a 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 win at first doubles. Taunton’s Michael Kimmer secured a 6-3, 6-2 win at first singles.

Canton, 2 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – A sweep of doubles play and a win at third singles handed North Attleboro a 3-2 decision over visiting Canton. Junior Griffin Rodden teamed with sophomore Quinn DiFiore for a 6-1, 6-3 first doubles victory while sophomores Arnav Raghuvanshi and Caleb Cheney teamed up for a hard-fought 7-5, 6-2 win at second doubles. Freshman Darren Liang battled to a 6-3, 6-3 win at third singles for North’s third win. Canton sophomore Max Kupferman grabbed a 6-1, 6-2 win at first singles and senior Suraj Ramanathan earned a 6-1, 6-0 second singles win.

Foxboro, 0 @ Sharon, 5 – Final

Franklin, 3 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – It took a second-set tiebreaker at second doubles and a tightly contested three-set battle at first singles, but Franklin prevailed with a 3-2 win in a great match against rival Mansfield. Senior Vayshanv Malhotra split the first two sets but took care of business in the third set to win 6-7, 6-7 (1), 6-2 for the Panthers’ lone point from singles action. The team of seniors Tim O’Keefe and Thomas Broyles rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at first doubles while the team of sophomores Jay Gorgas and Ahan Shetty prevailed with a 6-4, 7-6 (6) win at second doubles to get the win for Franklin. Mansfield freshman Neema Khosravani took a 6-1, 6-2 verdict at second singles and sophomore Iniyan Karruppusami secured a 6-0, 6-1 win at third singles for the Hornets.

Milford, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – King Philip collected wins from second and third singles, plus both doubles matches, in a 4-1 decision over visiting Milford. Jonathan Cohen (6-1, 6-0) and Connor Sachleben (6-1, 6-1) were victorious at second and third singles, respectively, for the Warriors while the team of Adam Gousie and Leo Manning earned a 6-3, 6-4 win at first doubles, and the duo of Arjun Kullo and Ashrith Epuri grabbed a 6-4, 6-2 win at second doubles. Milford junior Tyler Andreotti battled to a 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 win at first singles.

Senior Ella Lynch-Bartek claimed a 6-1, 6-3 win at first singles and sophomore Maddie Fuscaldo added a 6-0, 6-0 victory at second singles for the Bombardiers. Seniors Tina Lam and Saharla Yusuf won the first set in a tiebreaker and then rolled in the second set (7-6 (3), 6-1), and seniors Ally Rebelo and Delia Barthel emerged from second doubles with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Taunton sophomore Ava Alves earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles.

North Attleboro, 4 @ Canton, 1 – Final – The Rocketeers took wins from all three singles match plus one from doubles action for a 4-1 verdict on the road at Canton. Lauren Hunt (6-1, 6-1), Grace Noreck (6-2, 6-0), and Kyna Shah (6-3, 6-3) swept the singles matches for the Big Red, and the team of Ashlyn Cziria and Teresa Fan secured a 6-3, 6-1 win at first doubles. Canton, 12 @ Cardinal Spellman, 5 – Final – Trailing by 5-2 after four innings, Canton plated three runs in the fifth inning to tie it and then exploded for seven runs in the sixth to pull away for a win on the road in Brockton. Jack Digirolamo and Matt Hart each had an RBI double, and Nick Gillis followed with an RBI single to center in the top of the fifth inning to bring the Bulldogs level at 5-5. The Bulldogs (17 hits overall) had a hit parade in the top of the seventh: Matt Chafin drove in a run with a single to center, Digirolamo brought a run home with a single to left, Hayden Rose smacked an RBI double to left, Gillis added an RBI double, Sean Sullivan and Matt Quan had back-to-back RBI singles to center, and Matt Lesser singled in Canton’s 12th run with a ground ball up the left side. Quan got the win in relief, tossing three innings with one run allowed on three hits and one walk, striking out four. Andy Butler added two scoreless innings out of the bullpen with two hits and four strikeouts.

Attleboro, 8 @ Natick, 3 – Final – Attleboro scored three runs in the fifth inning to break open a tie game and added key insurance runs in the final two innings to secure a win over Natick at the Maple Street Fields on the campus of Framingham State. Arianna Amaral had a big day for the Bombardiers with a pair of hits and three RBI while both Lily Routhier and Lauren Eby had two hits and two RBI apiece. Routhier (3IP, 1H, 2K) and Lindsey Perry (4IP, 6H, 2K) shared pitched duties for Attleboro.

North Attleboro, 3 @ Coventry (RI), 13 – Final

Oliver Ames, 0 vs. Abington, 3 – Final – Oliver Ames junior Maddie Homer reached base three times but the Tigers were unable to push a run across in a shutout loss to Abington, who is ranked in the top 10 in D4 in the latest MIAA rankings. Katie Melendy, Paige Taylor, and Katherine Farley each had a hit for the Tigers while Melendy pitched a complete game, allowing just one earned run with four strikeouts.

Girls Lacrosse
Franklin, 10 @ Bishop Guertin (NH), 12 – Final – Franklin went up to the Granite State and challenged one of the best teams in the region but fell just short against powerhouse Bishop Guertin. Kate O’Rourke (for draw controls) and Kaitlyn Carney (seven draw controls) each had four goals while Jackie O’Neil added one goal and one assist. Brigid Earley made 10 saves in net for the Panthers.

Mansfield, 1 vs. Bishop Feehan, 2 – Final – Mansfield cut the deficit in half to make it a one-run game going into the final inning, but the Hornets came up just short in a pitcher’s duel. Jimmy Gilleran tossed a 6-inning complete game for the Hornets, allowing five hits and three walks, striking out four with two unearned runs charged. Feehan took advantage of three straight Hornet errors to push across two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Jared Fraone brought in pinch runner Rocco Scarpellini on a sac fly in the top of the sixth to make it 2-1 but the Hornets went quietly in the seventh to end the game.

Sharon, 9 @ Stoughton, 8 – Final – Sharon exploded for six runs in the fifth inning and added three more in the sixth to take a big lead and then held off Stoughton’s late inning charge. The Black Knights built a 4-0 lead with two runs in each the second (Hunter Malkin & Joseph Rush RBIs) and the third (Anthony Tilton RBI triple, Dom Belle sac fly) innings. After a pair of one-out walks, Ryan Baker cut the lead in half with a two-run double, Will Hippler made it a one-run game with a triple to center and Dan Okstein tied it with a single to right. Sharon tacked on two more runs with two outs as Dylan Labbe doubled in a run and an infield error allowed one more run to cross. Hippler added a one-out RBI in the sixth, Okstein tripled to plate another and scored on a wild pitch for a 9-4 lead. A double steal brought Belle home in the sixth to make it 9-5 and then Stoughton struck for three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Tilton brought in two with a double and scored on a single from Joe McNulty to make it 9-8. Stoughton had the tying run at third and the winning run at second but Okstein induced a ground ball for the final out.

Softball
Canton, 0 @ Milton, 9 – Final

Stoughton, 10 @ Franklin, 13 – Final – For the second time in as many days, Franklin pushed across 13 runs but this time had to hold off a late surge from Stoughton to get the win. The game featured over 30 hits and the teams combined for over 20 runs, including 13 in the first inning. Stoughton had a great start with five runs in the top of the first, highlighted by an RBI double from Julie Powers and a two-out RBI single from Kate Bulger. But Franklin responded in a big way in the bottom half, scoring eight runs to take a lead it never relinquished the rest of the way. Katy Liberman sparked the offense with a two-run triple and Sarah Boozang delivered a two-run double with the bases loaded to give Franklin a 6-5 lead. Aislinn Lavery added a sac fly and Reece Allen smacked a two-out triple for another run and an 8-5 advantage. The Panthers pushed across three more in the bottom of the second, all with two outs. Boozang brought home a pair on a double and another scored on the throw to make it 11-5. Franklin once again tacked onto its lead with two outs in the bottom of the fourth with Carly Johnson-Pellegri scoring one with a double and Liberman brought another home with her second triple of the game. Stoughton cut into the deficit with four runs in the top of the fifth as Camryn Whitman had a two-run double and Melody Casna brought another run in on a ground out. The Black Knights made it a three-run game by scoring on an error in the sixth and brought the tying run to the plate in the top of the seventh with one out, but the Panthers got a ground out and a fly ball to right to end the game.

Milford, 1 vs. Grafton, 13 – Final

King Philip, 11 @ Cumberland (RI), 4 – Final – King Philip scored seven runs between the second and fourth innings and then tacked on four key insurance runs in the top of the seventh to get a win on the road in the Ocean State. Jordan Bennett and Charlotte Raymond had back-to-back RBIs in the second, Taylor Regan brought in one with a RBI single and scored on a double steal before Sarah Cullen knocked in Caitlyn Sencaj to extend the lead to 5-0. After Cumberland got two runs back in the third, Ava Kelley scored on a passed ball and Regan plated Ava Lanza with a groundout. Holding a 7-4 lead going into the final inning, KP scored four runs to put the game away — and earn key rating points with the max margin of victory at five runs. Maddie Paschke had a single to center to bring in a run in the seventh.




Boys Lacrosse
Foxboro, 10 @ Bishop Feehan, 9 – Final – Foxboro’s Tommy Sharkey fired a shot into the back of the net to break a tie with just seven seconds to go to give the Warriors a dramatic win on the road over Feehan. With the game tied 9-9, Sharkey scored the game-winner to hand Foxboro a key win over a good Shamrocks squad. The goal completed Sharkey’s hat trick while Lincoln Moore scored five goals and Conor Noone had two goals and two assists in the win. Adam Addeche made nine saves in net for the Warriors.

King Philip, 17 @ Medway, 10 – Final

Girls Lacrosse
Canton, 10 vs. Quincy, 6 – Final – Canton held visiting Quincy to just one goal in the first half and goalie Elyse Broderick made 10 saves in net as the Bulldogs denied the visiting Presidents. Emily McCabe led the charge offensively with four goals for the Bulldogs, who claimed a 3-1 lead at the halftime break. Ella Yeaton chipped in with a pair of goals as well.

King Philip, 10 vs. Natick, 8 – Final – Freshman goalie Kaitlyn Parish turned aside six shots to lead King Philip to one of its best wins of the season, knocking off Natick at home. Nikki McDonald had a breakout game for the Warriors, scoring a team-high four goals along with Julia Marsden.

Boys Tennis
Mansfield, 3 vs. West Bridgewater, 2 – Final – Using a member of each grade, Mansfield swept doubles action and took one win from singles to secure a hard-fought 3-2 win over non-league foe West Bridgewater. Senior Jonah Fine and junior Benson Delaney took care of business with a 6-2, 6-1 win at first doubles while sophomore Jacob Weiner and freshman Josh Weiner were victorious (6-2, 6-1) in straight sets at second doubles. Freshman Neema Khosravani rolled to a 6-2, 6-0 win at second singles to clinch the win for the Hornets.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Milton, 3 – Final – OA got wins at third singles from senior Kylash Ganesh (6-3, 6-3) and its freshman pairing of Patrick Dolan and Alex Efremidas at No. 1 doubles (6-4, 6-3).

Girls Tennis
Canton, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Canton and Stoughton split the first two matches but the Bulldogs took third singles and both doubles matches for a 4-1 win on the road. Camila Cutta (6-3, 6-2) and Olivia Maloney (6-4, 7-5) won at first and third singles, respectively, for the Bulldogs while Olivia Durham and Grace Powers teamed up for a 6-4, 6-0 first doubles win and Allie Wong teamed with Liv McCloskey for a 7-6, 7-6 second doubles victory. Stoughton’s Emilia Lada secured a 6-3, 6-1 win at second singles.
