Attleboro, 76 vs. Bishop Feehan, 47 – FinalA pair of freshmen made an impact as Attleboro swept the season series against Feehan. Qualeem Charles had 10 points and seven rebounds and Bryant Ciccio had 12 points and five rebounds. Senior Jake Dunkley led the Bombardiers with 19 points and six rebounds.

Franklin, 64 vs. Malden Catholic, 70 – Final

Milford, 69 vs. Tantasqua, 46 – FinalAnthony Arcudi dropped a career-high 22 points to pace the Scarlet Hawks to a win. Zack Tamagni added 13 points while Shane Cosquete finished with nine points. Junior Kayden Kelley scored 10 points and hauled in a career-high 21 rebounds. Milford will face Waltham in the final of the Scarlet Hawks Classic on Thursday at 7 p.m.

King Philip, 59 @ Bridgewater-Raynham, 58 – FinalKing Philip overcame a seven point deficit in the first half to take a five point lead by half. The Trojans came back to seize a three point advantage after three quarters. KP was able to build a four point lead late and hold on. Sophomore Kyle Layman had 18 points, eight rebounds and five blocks to lead the Warriors while Justin Vine added 17 points and Will Weir had 12 points.

North Attleboro, 57 vs. Reading, 42 – FinalThe Rocketeers jumped out to an 18-9 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Up 33-21, Big Red used another dominate quarter, outscoring the Rockets 17-4 in the third. Junior Chad Peterson led the way with a career-high 15 points while Jonny Friberg added 14 points and Kyle McCarthy finished with 13 points.

Oliver Ames, 58 vs. East Boston, 36 – FinalOliver Ames deployed a zone defense and then pounced with a press in the second quarter to pull away from East Boston. The Tigers outscored East Boston 21-4 in the second quarter and 13-5 in the third quarter. “We used the press and we played zone,” OA head coach Don Byron said. “We got pretty active – tops on that list was probably Welch, he gets his hands on a lot of stuff in the zone. We ran out on that pretty well and we were able to compound things a little bit by jumping into the press once we scored.” Jack Spillane led OA with 12 points and 11 rebounds, Dylan Mahoney had 12 points and five rebounds and Matt Muir finished with 10 points and five rebounds.

Sharon, 52 vs. Arlington Catholic, 33 – FinalSenior Ricardo Ripley scored all of his team-high 14 points in the second half to lead Sharon to the win on the road at Wilmington. The Eagles only allowed 13 points in the second half and won the fourth quarter 17-6. Jimmy Fitzhenry also had 14 points in the win while Jayvon Monteiro scored 11 points.

Taunton, 73 vs. Hope (RI), 49 – FinalFreshman Naz Kenian scored a career-high 16 points as Taunton rolled past Hope. Junior Malik Charles chipped in with 14 points for the Tigers.

Girls Basketball
Attleboro, 60 vs. Cranston West 35 – FinalSarah Deyo led the way for the Bombardiers with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Julia Strachan, Sam Pierce, and Jordyn Lako each added 10 points for Attleboro.

Mansfield, 52 vs. Marshfield, 47 – FinalJen Peel had 18 points and five assists to pace the Hornets. Meg Hill added 12 points, 12 rebounds, and eight blocks and Ann Maher had 10 points for Mansfield. The Hornets will play Duxbury in the final of the Holiday Tournament on Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.

Milford, 60 @ Hudson, 31 – FinalKate Irwin was the top scorer for the Hawks with 23 points and Jess Tomaso chipped in with eight points.

Oliver Ames, 48 vs. Needham, 42 – FinalOliver Ames rallied from a halftime deficit to tie the game but the Rockets reestablished a lead (31-26) at the end of the third. The Tigers seized the lead early in the fourth quarter and held on. Kayla Raymond led the Tigers with 18 points while Niyera Mitchell had nine points and a career-high 19 rebounds. The Tigers will host Walpole in the final of the Sure Rivard Tournament.

Hockey
Attleboro, 3 vs. Ludlow 5 – Final

King Philip, 4 @ Quincy, 6 – Final

Wrestling
Lowell Holiday Tournament (Canton, Foxboro, Franklin, Stoughton) – After the first day, Foxboro is in eighth place with 79 points and Franklin is in 11th with 69.5 points. Wrestlers that made the quarterfinals include Foxboro’s Adam Lanctot (106), Canton’s Justin Dickie (113), Franklin’s TJ Remillard and Foxboro’s Phil Dure (126) and Foxboro’s Matt Kelley (132).

Marshfield Tournament (Mansfield, North Attleboro, Oliver Ames, Sharon) – North Attleboro is in third place with 111.5 points with 10 wrestlers moving onto day two. Mansfield is just outside the top 10 with 66.5 points (13th place) with six wrestlers moving on. Wrestlers that advanced to the semifinals include North Attleboro’s Brady Folan and Mansfield’s Antonios Sevastos (106), Sharon’s Yosef Ellis-Rech (126), Oliver Ames’ Liston Funai (132), Mansfield’s George Glaropoulos and North Attleboro’s Nick Gould (152), Mansfield’s Vinnie Holmes (170) and North Attleboro’s Brad White (220).

Girls Hockey

Wrestling
Scituate Tournament (Canton) – Canton placed second overall as a team at the tournament. First place finishes for the Bulldogs were Eddie Marinilli (126), Anis Chakir (132) and Brandon Lentol (170).

Mt. Hope Tournament (Foxboro, Franklin, Stoughton) – Foxboro finished first at the Mt. Hope Holiday Tournament with 180 points. Franklin’s “A” team finished third with 171 points, Stoughton finished eighth with 91 and Franklin’s “B” team was 16th with 26 points. Foxboro’s Matt Kelley earned his 157th career win, making him the winningest wrestling in Warrior history. Other winner’s included Foxboro’s Brian Kelley (138), Franklin’s Ed Cropper (152) and Stoughton’s Lino Azul (285). Second place finishes included Franklin’s Jordan Carlucci (106), Ian Bakalars (113), Mike Racca (120), Foxboro’s Max Dorman (152), Matt Mullally (160) and Dave Dow (170).

St. John’s Shrewsbury Quad (King Philip), 8:00AM

Lincoln-Sudbury Quad (Mansfield) – Mansfield went 3-1 on the day, picking up wins over Brookline (54-18), Quincy (41-21) and Pentucket (45-15). The Hornets lone loss came to host Lincoln-Sudbury (48-27). Sophomore Shane Cremmen went 3-0 on the day for the Hornets. Freshman Vinnie Holmes bumped up to 182 for the day and went 3-1, with his lone loss coming to the #3 ranked grappler in the state.

Tewksbury Quad (Milford) – Milford picked up a pair of wins at Tewskbury on Saturday. The Scarlet Hawks beat Greater Lawrence (42-26) and Tewksbury (54-24) while falling to Masconomet (46-30). Brett Kimball went 3-0 on the day, winning all three matches via pin. Ryan Gray. Conor Maier and Stanislav Demko also went 3-0 on the day.

North Attleboro Quad (North Attleboro), 9:00AM

Devin Ness Tournament (Oliver Ames), 10:00AM

Plymouth North Quad (Sharon) – Sharon went 2-1 at the Plymouth North quad. The Eagles notched wins over Plymouth North (45-28) and Pembroke (60-21) while falling to Walpole (36-30).

Watertown Quad (Taunton) – Taunton picked up a win over Carver (27-26) but fell to Watertown (42-39) and Wakefield (48-33). Josh Grasso (126), Alex Rodrigues (145), and Nuno Camara (182) each went 3-0 for the Tigers.

Mansfield, 4 @ Milford, 1 – Final Milford freshman Jordan Borges scored his first career goal off an assist by Marcello Panno to open the scoring but Mansfield netted four goals in the final seven minutes of the first half to get the win. Sean Lanzillo leveled the score off an assist from Ethan Brill-Cass in the 33rd minute, Cullin Anastasia put Mansfield up 2-1 on an assist from Kevin Bouck in the 35th minute, James Chotkowski made it 3-1 off an assist from Brill-Cass in the 39th minute and then Anastasia made it 4-1 off an assist from Lanzillo just 30 seconds later. Mansfield goalie Nick Ferraz replaced an injured Jed Tolbert in net in the second half and made 12 saves – head coach Steve Sheridan saying Ferraz played phenomenal. Milford head coach Brian Edwards said Zachary Brown and Mike Weber played extremely well for the Scarlet Hawks.

King Philip, 2 @ North Attleboro, 1 – FinalKing Philip senior Colby Koch opened the scoring for the Warriors, finishing off a one on one situation after a ball over the top from Tyler Mann. Jason Florio netted the game-winner in the 77th minute, finishing at the back post off a feed from Anthony Bozza. North Attleboro netted it’s goal in the 79th minute.

Taunton, 0 @ Stoughton, 4 – FinalStoughton scored a pair of goals in each half to earn its seventh win of the season. Jordan Asnes opened the scoring with a shot into the bottom left corner after a cross from Marco Antunes. Antunes then set up Loubensky Lucas four minutes later, playing a through ball while Lucas lifted the ball over the keeper to make it 2-0. Senior Goddy Fombe made a nice run out of the back, putting a through ball into Lucas who ran onto it and slotted it home. Sophomore Fabio Ponce De Leon capped the scoring, flicking in a service from Conner Kavanagh at the near post to make it 4-0. Matt Gallagher earned his second shutout of the year in net.

Girls Soccer
Foxboro, 4 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final

Canton, 2 @ Oliver Ames, 4 – FinalOliver Ames scored two goals in each half to pick up its 10th win of the season. Tori Wyman, on an assist from Anna Tempestoso and Kiana Lozzi, on an assist from Abby Hodges gave OA a 2-0 lead at halftime. Jess Robarge, on an assist from Zoe Chazan) and Jackie Mills added second half goal for the Tigers.

Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – FinalHannah Reiter netted a pair of goals and assisted on Stephanie Kemp’s goal to lift Mansfield. Kemp also notched an assist in the win. Milford head coach Jay Mastaj said Nichole Dahlgren and Rachel LeBlanc played well on defense.

North Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – FinalKing Philip scored three goals in the final 15 minutes to pick up the win over North Attleboro. Chloe Layne scored the game-winner, converting a corner kick from Emma Corcoran in the 65th minute. Kathrine Turner found Rachel Hogan, who volleyed her shot into the net to make it 2-0 with just under five minutes to play. Just 30 seconds later, Corcoran service another corner that Avery Snead latched onto to make it 3-0.

Stoughton, 0 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalIzzy DaCosta netted the lone goal of the game to lift the Tigers. Stoughton head coach Tara Daniels said Emerson Sprague, Krista Michensi, Corina Kavengh and Sarah Widrow all played well defensively for the Black Knights.

Volleyball
Oliver Ames, 0 @ Canton, 3 – Final

Mansfield, 3 @ Milford, 2 – FinalIn a match filled with long rallies, Mansfield was able to edge Milford, 21-25, 25-19, 24-26, 26-24, 15-8. “It was an outstanding team effort by our whole team,” Mansfield head coach Melissa Heeden said. For the Hornets, Jess Haradon had 43 digs, Chloe Peters had 49 assists, Meg Hill added 14 kills, Julia Harrison chipped in with 12 digs and 10 kills, Jacey Anderson had 22 digs, Emily Kleber finished with eight kills and Olivia Broyles had seven kills.

King Philip, 3 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final King Philip avenged a non-league loss to the Rocketeers last week with a 25-21, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20 league win on Thursday. Sydney Phillips paced the offense with 19 kills while adding 18 service points and three blocks. Kat Kmetz had 23 service points for the Warriors along with three kills and two blocks, Amanda Loewen had 11 service points and eight digs and Angela Vellante added 25 service points and two digs.

Sharon, 0 @ Norwood, 3 – Final

Taunton, 0 @ Stoughton, 3 – FinalStoughton’s Riley Bagley had a strong all around game with with eight kills and 16 digs.

Field Hockey
Oliver Ames, 0 @ Canton, 1 – FinalAndrea McNeil scored the lone goal of the game while Taylor Carrington recorded the shutout in net for the Bulldogs. Oliver Ames head coach Abby Tepper said Katie Vamosi, Katie Davenport and Sarah Tetrault played well defensively for the Tigers.

Franklin, 5 @ Taunton, 1 – FinalFranklin sophomore Annie Walsh netted a hat trick to help the Panthers land a 5-1 victory. Junior Maddie Hinckley opened the scoring with junior Kate Morse and freshman Erin Walsh each chipping in with two assists. Sophomore Cassi Ronan also had a goal and an assist. Franklin senior Sam Hertzberg had six saves –including two scintillating stops — to get the win in the cage.

Mansfield, 3 @ Milford, 1 – Final

King Philip, 2 @ North Attleboro, 0 – FinalKing Philip’s Christina Hathaway scored a penalty stroke in the first half to give the Warriors the edge at the break. In the second half, with 11 minutes left, Nicole Connor scored from an assist from Alli Meehan to make it 2-0. KP put 30 shots on net but North Attleboro goalie Liz Morehouse had a strong game.

Golf
Foxboro, 172 @ Oliver Ames, 143 – Final Brady Allbritton earned match medalist honors for Oliver Ames, carding a low round of 34. Mark Bissonette shot a 35 while Ryan McGarry and Matt Kelley each shot 37 on the day. Chad Bearce shot a 42 for Foxboro and Matt Tierney carded a 43.

Stoughton, 179 @ Canton, 154 – Final Canton’s Tommy Dimock was the match medalist, shooting a match-low 34 on the day at Blue Hills Country Club. Jackson Maffeo added a 39 for the Bulldogs while Matt Martin shot 40 and Pat Duggan shot a 41. Brendan Campbell led Stoughton with a 41.

Mansfield, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – FinalMansfield senior Max Gurnon opened the scoring with a heads up free kick, catching Taunton off guard with a free kick from midfield to put the visitors up 1-0 just seven minutes into the game. Just before the half hour mark, James Chotkowski headed in a throw in from Gurnon to give Mansfield a 2-0 lead at half. Jackson Murphy capped the scoring for Mansfield in the 65th minute, finishing off a free kick from Sam Hyland. Jed Tolbert made six saves in recording his second straight shutout for Mansfield.

Canton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 4 – FinalAshlyn Gaulin and Haley Ferrin both scored a brace for the Rocketeers. Haley Guertin recorded a pair of assists and Rachel Labonte had an assist for North.

Foxboro, 4 @ Sharon, 1 – Final – Hailey Mailing scored a hat trick for the Warriors, lifting Foxboro to its first win of the season. Alex Rabb scored from the penalty spot for Sharon.

Taunton, 0 @ Mansfield, 4 – FinalHannah Reiter scored a goal and recorded an assist for the Hornets. Emma Oldow, Emma Goulet and Bryn Anderson each scored a goal for Mansfield.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ King Philip, 0 – Final – King Philip peppered Oliver Ames but was unable to breakthrough as KP goalie Katie Vamosi stood tall. Vamosi came away with 14 saves on the day as she stifled KP’s attack (15 corners). OA head coach Abby Tepper also lauded the play of Dimitra Efremidis in the midfield.

Golf
Oliver Ames, 149 @ Mansfield, 172 – FinalBrady Allbritton shot a 34 at Norton Country Club to earn match medalist honors, leading OA to another win. Ryan McGarry added a 37 and Matt Kelley finished with a round of 38 for the Tigers. Brendan Loomer shot a team-low 41 for the Hornets.

Sharon, 176 @ Franklin, 156 – Final – Bryan Woelfel led the way for the Panthers, earning match medalist honors with a round of 38. Tyler Langevin and Matt Dao each finished with a round of 39. Corey Carter led Sharon with a round of 42.

Attleboro, 185 @ Taunton, 178 – Final – Mike Volkmann was the match medalist, carding a round of 37 to lead the Tigers; Justin Proto finished with a 38. Kyle DelSignore was Attleboro’s top finisher, carding a round of 44.

North Attleboro, 195 @ Canton, 194 – FinalIn a battle of the top two Davenport teams, the match was forced to a fifth card and Canton emerged with a one stroke victory. Tommy Dimock led the way for the Bulldogs with a round of 37, Matt Minichiello and Danny Powers both shot 38 and Jackson Maffeo carded a round of 40. North Attleboro’s Dylan Kane was the match medalist, finishing with a round of 36 while Robbie Congdon shot a 37 and Tyler Sincola shot a 39.

Cross Country
Boys
Attleboro, 35 @ Mansfield, 24 – FinalAttleboro’s David Seybert won the race in 17:04 but Mansfield used its depth to get the team win. Kalin Petrov finished first for Mansfield – second overall – in 17:21 while Patrick Heavey finished third in 17:41. Collin Rice (18:06) and Kevin Crawford (18:09) finished fifth and sixth and Nick Rispoli was eighth overall in 18:19. Attleboro’s Alex Boedecker (17:43) was fourth and Garrett Gillard (18:12) finished seventh overall.

Franklin, 21 @ Taunton, 39 – Final

Sharon, 33 @ North Attleboro, 24 – Final

Oliver Ames, 21 @ King Philip, 37 – Final – Brent Schwartz won his second consecutive race to lead Oliver Ames past King Philip. King Philip’s Jack Angelo finished third and Mike Griffin was fourth.

Franklin, 20 @ Taunton, 39 – Final – Franklin placed a trio of juniors in the top four places, including the top two finishers, to beat Taunton. Nicole Clermont placed first in a time of 21:05 while Kate Hartnett was second in 21:13. Ella Gutkowski finished in fourth overall, clocking in at 22:08.

Sharon, 30 @ North Attleboro, 25 – Final

Oliver Ames, 31 @ King Philip, 26 – Final – King Philip grabbed the top two finishers and had four of the top six finishes to edge Oliver Ames. Erin Quinn won the race for KP while Lucy Hamilton finished second. Nina Sitarski and Leia Quinn clocked in at fifth and sixth overall. Liz Peckham and Caroline McCarthy led Oliver Ames with third and fourth finishes respectively.

Thomas Lugten needed just three minutes to give the Warriors the lead early in the second half. Michael Rowe was tripped up in the area to draw a PK and junior Connor Mullins converted with less than 10 minutes to play to double the Warriors’ lead.

Stoughton, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final – Mansfield converted on a pair of first half chances to pick up the win over the visiting Black Knights. Brendan Sullivan put the home side in front in the 13th minute, converting a cross from Kevin Bouck. Sullivan then drew a penalty in the 39th minute and James Chotkowski buried it to make it 2-0. Jed Tolbert made six saves, recording his first career shutout. Head coach Steve Sheridan applauded the play of defenders Max Gurnon, Harry Braidt, Nick Hyland and Ethan Brill-Cass. Stoughton’s Brian Peoples had a strong performance, making his return for the Black Knights after an injury last season.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames hit the post three times and North Attleboro cleared two more chances off the line as the two teams battled to a scoreless tie at Muscato Stadium.

Girls Soccer
Attleboro, 1 @ Sharon, 6 – Final Ally Filipkowski and Alex Rabb both had hat tricks for the Eagles. Ally Steinberg and Anna Crosby both played well in midfield, according to Sharon coach Brad Furnival. Ashley Dame scored the goal for the Bombardiers.

Mansfield, 7 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final Hannah Reiter scored three goals and added an assist for the Hornets. Mansfield also got two goals from Emma Oldow, while Emma Goulet and Sydney Mulkern each scored once. Emily Vigeant had a pair of assists in the win. Stoughton’s goal was scored by freshman Chinazo Odunze off of an assist from sophomore Cintia Khouzami. Stoughton head coach Tara Daniels also made note of the defensive play of Sarina Hutchinson and Emerson Sprague.

Mansfield, 0 @ Bishop Feehan, 3 – Final Mansfield was unable to overcome a slow start, falling to Feehan 10-25, 20-25, 22-25. Jess Haradon had 18 digs, Meg hill had seven kills and five blocks and Julia Harrison had six kills and 10 digs for the Hornets.

Stoughton, 1 vs. Cardinal Spellman, 3 – Final – Stoughton senior captains Christina Gelin and Riley Bagley worked with Sophomore Mia Bennett to combine for over 70 digs.

Field Hockey
King Philip, 2 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – King Philip had 14 corners and 13 shots on goal in a dominate effort, scoring once in each half. Alli Meehan scored the game winner just over midway through the first half. Nicole Conner iced the game with just 3:30 left, scoring off a corner from Christina Hathaway. KP allowed just one corner in the game and didn’t allow a shot on net.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Canton, 3 – FinalEmily Campbell, Andrea McNeil and Maggie Wade each scored once in Canton’s win over North Attleboro.

Sharon, 0 @ Foxboro, 10 – FinalThis was the 150th career win for Foxboro coach Melissa Bordieri.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Franklin put up a pair of goals to go into halftime with a 2-0 lead but Oliver Ames came storming back in the second half. Brayden Downing opened the scoring off an assist from Cassie Ronan and Maddie Hinckley netted her first goal off a feed from Kayla Marshall to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead. Dimitra Efremidis brought OA back within one eight minutes into the second half and Kendall Clifford scored off a corner to tie the game. Dana Lewandowski put the Panthers back ahead midway through the second half off an assist from Maeve Ledwith but OA had an answer again. Liz Nuss scored on a breakaway with just over eight minutes to play to tie the game. Christina Lucini had four saves in net for Franklin while Katie Vamosi had a strong day in the cage for OA.

Milford, 0 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final Jackie Evangelista scored the lone goal of the game for Stoughton off an assist by Mia Russell. Gianna Barbosa had the shutout in goal in her first varsity start.

Golf
Mansfield, 156 @ Canton, 146 – FinalCanton senior Matt Minichiello continued his strong start to 2016, earning match medalist honors at Blue Hills by carding a 34. Jack Goyetch shot 36, Danny Powers carded a 37 and Joey Vaughan chipped in with a 39 for the Bulldogs. Jason Hindman led Mansfield with a 35 while Brett Kessler added a 39 for the Hornets.

Franklin, 158 @ Medway, 169 – Final

Sharon, 173 @ King Philip, 160 – Final Sebastian Ladoulis earned medalist honors, carding a low round of 38 for the Warriors. Jack Citarell shot a career-best 39 while freshman Nate Ihley impressed by carding a 40 on the day.

North Attleboro, 146 @ Oliver Ames, 139 – Final In a one of the best matchups of the season, Oliver Ames edged North with the top eight players all coming in under 40. Junior Matt Kelley was the match medalist, carding a two-under pass round of 32 at Pine Oaks in Easton. Thomas Walsh shot one over par at 35 while Brady Allbritton and Ryan McGarry each had a round of 36. North Attleboro’s Robbie Congdon carded a one-under round of 33 while Dylan Kane and Thomas Puccio each shot 37 and David Colsanti finished with a round of 39.

Senior Thomas McCormick iced the game for the Tigers, finding the back of the net in the final minutes of the match. Junior Cam Vella assisted on both of the goals while Jack Carroll earned the shutout.

Franklin, 2 @ Xaverian, 1 – Final Franklin rallied from a one goal deficit with a pair of second half goals to earn the win. Farley Asmath scored off an assist from Cam LeBlanc to tie the game while Kevin Hall scored the game winner for the Panthers.

Girls Soccer
Sharon, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final Francesca Calabraro scored four goals for the Tigers. Julia Roy had the other goal for Oliver Ames. Alex Rabb scored the opening goal of the game for the Eagles, who trailed 2-1 at halftime.

Volleyball
Attleboro, 0 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final

King Philip, 3 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – The Warriors of Foxboro gave the Warriors of King Philip a big test but KP emerged with a 25-19, 26-24, 28-26 win, one head coach Kristen Geuss described as “hard earned.” Sydney Phillips led KP’s attack with 13 kills while Emma Lopez chipped in six kills.

Franklin, 1 @ Milford, 3 – FinalMilford won 29-27, 25-15, 21-25, 25-13. Kelley Reichert led the Hawks with 11 kills and Ally Zagami had seven kills and 17 digs in the win.

Attleboro, 2 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Attleboro scored once in the first half and once in the second half, while keeping the Black Knights off the board until the final minutes of the game to get the win. Kate LeBlanc put the Bombardiers in front with an unassisted goal in the first half. LeBlanc doubled Attleboro’s lead in the second half on assists from Eliza Sabilla and Ally Pierce. Jackie Evangelista scored her first varsity goal for Stoughton.

Mansfield, 1 @ Canton, 0 – Final Caitlin Whitman had the lone goal of the game for the Hornets, scoring an unassisted tally midway through the second half.

King Philip, 1 @ Foxboro, 0 – Final – King Philip followed the game plan they set in place and executed across the field in a big 1-0 league win over Foxboro. Caitlin Donahue scored the lone goal of the game off of an assist from Liz Furfari.

Franklin, 5 @ Milford, 1 – Final – Senior Alex Sullivan and senior Brayden Downing found the back of the cage in the first half as the Panthers built a 2-0 lead by halftime. Junior Kate Morse had a pair of goals off of corners with assists coming from Maddie Hinkley (her second) and Cassi Ronan. Caroline Lounsbury capped the scoring off an assist from freshman Maeve Ledwith. Senior Sam Hertzberg made a pair of saves, including one on a breakaway, to earn her first win. Shannon Cormier scored Milford’s goal in the game.

Taunton, 0 @ North Attleboro, 2 – Final – Taunton’s defense had a strong showing but couldn’t convert on the offensive end as North Attleboro picked up the win. Taunton received strong performances from Katie Van Zandt, Annie Tate, Liana Duarte, Bre Conlon, Jillian Pagliuca and Kya Enos.

Oliver Ames, 7 @ Sharon, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames continued to roll to start the season with a big win on the road. Sarah Stevens and Dimitra Efremidis each netted a pair of goals for the Tigers with Kendall Clifford, Rachel Stryke and Shannon Cahill each scoring once. Kayla Lozzi had two assists in the win while Liz Nuss and Efremidis each had one helper.

Golf
Oliver Ames, 148 @ Stoughton, 181 – Oliver Ames picked up its second win of the season, defeating Stoughton at Easton Country Club. Brady Allbritton led the Tigers with a 36 while Nick Lombardi and Eric LeBlanc each shot 37, and Mark Bissonette and Matt Kelley each carded a round of 38. Stoughton’s Brendan Campbell shot a 43.

King Philip, 157 @ North Attleboro, 144 – Final – North Attleboro senior Robbie Congdon shot a one under par 34 at Heather Hills to lead the Red Rocketeers, who moved to 3-0 on the season.

Milford, 175 @ Foxboro, 182 – FinalRyan Tomaso shot 37 to lead Milford, while Matt Tierney lead Foxboro with a 41

Taunton, 175 @ Attleboro, 170 – Final – The Attleboro Bombardiers picked up their first win of the season in their home opener at Highland Country Club. Ethan Johnson led Attleboro, shooting a 40 while Kyle DelSignore and Corey McKenna each registered a round of 42. Taunton’s Mike Volkmann was the match medalist, shooting a 39.
