Player of the Week: Bobby Hickox, Foxboro Lacrosse

Foxboro sophomore Bobby Hickox has been selected as the HockomockSports.com Player of the Week, presented by Morse Insurance, for March 30 through April 5. Hickox is the 28th athlete chosen as Player of the Week for the 2025-26 school year and the first in the spring season.

Hickox had a breakout freshman season as the top scorer for the Warriors, and he’s started up right where he left off with 10 goals in Foxboro’s first two games. With Hickox leading the way, the Warriors have started 2-0, including a thrilling comeback to upset King Philip on the road.

In the opening game of the spring, the Warriors came out firing with nine first-half goals against North Attleboro in a 15-11 win. Hickox paced Foxboro’s offense that day with seven goals, helping Bugan earn a win on his debut. On Thursday, Hickox had a hat trick in an 8-7 win at KP. Foxboro led by one at halftime, KP rallied to go in front in the third, but Foxboro scored twice in the final 90 seconds of the quarter to regain the advantage. Hickox made it a two-goal lead when he finished off a pass from Jackson Bohlen and the Warriors held off KP’s last-minute attempt to pull out the win. He added a goal and assist on Monday in a loss against Milford.
