Stoughton, 5 @ King Philip, 12 – Final – King Philip scored three runs in the first inning and five runs in the third to pick up its second win of the season with a 12-5 decision over Stoughton. The Warriors had 17 hits on the day, led by Rudy Gately’s three hits, and two apiece from Travis Crawford, Matt Kelley (three RBI), Brendan Sencaj (four RBI), and Eli Reed (two RBI). Sencaj had a two-run double in the first and another RBI single in the fifth while Kelley had an RBI in each the second, third and fourth innings. Tommy Martorano didn’t let up an earned run in five innings of work, striking out seven.

Sharon, 2 @ North Attleboro, 11 – Final – North Attleboro pushed across four runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back in a win over visiting Sharon. Tyler DeMattio smacked a two-run home run, David Floyd (walk) scored on a double steal, and Christian Bates drove in a run with a double. Sharon put up two runs in the fourth inning by Dillon Harding had an RBI single in the fifth and highlighted a four-run sixth inning with a two-run base hit. Tyler Bannon earned the win on the mound, allowing three hits with three strikeouts in four innings. Harding pitched three scoreless innings in relief with one hit allowed.

Softball
King Philip, 19 @ Stoughton, 5 – Final (5 inn.) – King Philip scored at least three runs in each of the five innings, including nine between the first two to grab a win on the road over Stoughton. Sophomore Taylor Regan went 4-for-4 on the day with thee runs scored and two RBI to lead the offensive charge for KP, who had 20 hits as a team. Freshman Liv Petrillo added two hits, four RBI, and two runs, Charlotte Raymond drove in three runs and scored three runs, and Meg Sherwood, Ava Kelley, and Mia Bennett each had two RBI. Stoughton’s Camryn Whitman drive in three runs with a double in the second.

Boys Lacrosse
Oliver Ames, 8 @ Attleboro, 16 – Final – Click here for a Photo Gallery from this game. Attleboro trailed 3-0 in the first quarter and 5-3 early in the second, but found another gear and pulled away in the second half to pick up a second win in as many days. Carter Shelton scored six goals and Keigan Conley had three goals and three assists for the Bombardiers. Ben Reardon scored four times and had two assists for the Tigers. Reardon got OA off to a great start with two goals in the opening four minutes and Wyatt Fritchman had one to make it 3-0. Conley set up Shelton to get Attleboro on the board and then Freddy Wheaton teed up Conley to bring the hosts within one. Reardon assisted on a Joey Carney goal but Shelton set up Patrick McAvoy to make it 4-3 after one. Fritchman added his second to push the lead back to two, but Attleboro scored the next three to go into halftime leading 6-5. Shelton and Conley had the first two and Chad Beaupin assisted a Cole McKenna goal with 20 seconds left to put Attleboro ahead for the first time. Reardon tied it early in the third, but Attleboro responded with the next four goals (Spencer Sherk, Beaupin, and two from Shelton) to take control. After Reardon got one back, Seth LaPlaca and Shelton answered but Ryan Jaco tallied his first with five seconds left in the third to keep OA within four (12-8). Attleboro sealed the win by scoring the only four goals of the fourth. Conley, Wheaton, Shelton, and Sherk all finding the back of the net. Goalies Noah Isleib (OA) and Harry Wheaton (Attleboro) both played well throughout.

Canton @ North Attleboro, 3:45

Foxboro, 9 @ Sharon, 8 – Final – Sharon dominated at the faceoff X to rally in the second half, but Foxboro held on to get the league win. The Warriors built a 5-2 lead at half but the Eagles tripled their first half production with six strikes in the second half. For Foxboro, sophomore Lincoln Moore scored six goals, Tony Sulham added two more, and Jack Avery scored once in the win while sophomore goalie Adam Addeche turned in a 17-save performance to keep Foxboro ahead. Sophomore Ryan Cotter had a standout game defensive for Foxboro with six ground balls. Sharon senior Ben Shocket won 18 of 21 face offs taken.

Franklin, 25 @ Milford, 4 – Final – Franklin poured in 21 goals in the opening half to secure a road win to move to 2-0 on the season. Tyler Sacchetti led the charge with four goals and six ssists, Jayden Consigli had five goals and four assists, and Luke Davis added four goals and three assists.

Girls Lacrosse
Attleboro @ Oliver Ames, 3:45

North Attleboro, 7 @ Canton, 11 – Final – Knotted at 4-4 at halftime, Canton found the back of the net seven times over the final two quarters to get a win over North Attleboro. Emily McCabe and Devan Spinale both had four goals to pace the Bulldogs’ offense while Ella Yeaton scored twice and Shannon McGrann had one goal. Elyse Broderick made 10 saves in net to get the win.

Sharon, 2 @ Foxboro, 20 – Final – Foxboro completed a perfect opening week with another double-digit win. Ten Warriors found the scoresheet on Thursday, led by Paige Curran with five goals and two assists. Mya Waryas added four goals and three assists, while Kate Collins (one assist), Cate Noone, and Val Beigel each scored twice. Grace Riley and Meghan Burke both had goals and an assist and Kaelin Connors, Jennifer Gallagher, and Hannah Blake found the back of the net once apiece. Anna Hertzel and Kiera Ledyard scored for the Eagles and goalie Tess Letendre made 13 saves in the loss.

Milford, 1 @ Franklin, 21 – Final

Mansfield, 16 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Cali Melo scored both goals for the Tigers.

King Philip, 14 vs. Hopkinton, 5 – Final – King Philip scored six goals in the first half and added eight more after the halftime break in a win over Hopkinton. Julia Marsden paced the offense for the Warriors with seven goals while Makenzie McDevitt had a hat trick plus three helpers. Lily Brown notched six assists along with a goal, Nikki MacDonald scored twice, and Abby MacDonald added one in the win.

Boys Tennis
King Philip, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – A singles sweep and another win in doubles play gave King Philip a win on the road at Stoughton. Brady Jannell rallied for a 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 win at first singles, Jonathan Cohen didn’t drop a set in a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles, and Jackson Hom took a 6-2, 6-1 victory at third singles. KP also added a win from Diego Nieto and Noah Ihley at first doubles (6-0, 6-4). Stoughton’s Jake Berry and Joe Mark claimed a 6-2, 6-2 win at second doubles.

Milford, 0 @ Medway, 5 – Final

Girls Tennis
Sharon 2, vs. Bishop Feehan 3 – Final

Milford vs. Whitinsville Christian, 3:45

Taunton, 3 @ Durfee, 2 – Final – A sweep of doubles action plus one singles win was enough for Taunton to get a win on the road over the Hilltoppers. Senior Kayla Parrett battled to a hard-fought 6-4, 6-4 win at first singles for the Tigers. The first doubles tandem of sophomores Morgan Smith and Sam Parrett notched a 6-3, 6-3 win and sophomore Janelle Garcia and senior Kelsey Brennan teamed up for a 6-3, 6-3 win at second doubles.

Boys Volleyball
King Philip, 0 @ Bellingham, 3 – Final

Milford, 3 vs. Nipmuc, 0 – Final

Taunton, 3 vs. Durfee, 1 – Final – Taunton broke into the win column for the first time this season, taking the final two sets after splitting the first two for a 3-1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-17, 25-17) win. Junior Ty Ekstrom set the offense up with 26 assists along with four aces, four digs, and a pair of kills. Antonios Dimakis led the offense with 11 kills, six digs, a pair of aces, and a block, Matt Freitas added nine kills, eight digs, and six aces, while Josh Duncan (eight digs, four kills) had a big day from the service line with 10 aces.

Thursday’s Schedule & Scoreboard – 10/21/21

Field Hockey
Attleboro, 1 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Madison Ellis scored the lone goal of the game three minutes into the fourth quarter, giving Attleboro a road win over the Tigers and a sweep of the season series (both games finishing 1-0). Olivia Hamilton picked up the assist on the game-winner and Ava Haggerty made eight saves to preserve the shutout. Taunton goalie Em Gannon turned away 10 shots while Kylie Thorpe, Kaysie DeMoura, Thalia Nogueira, and Jasmine Lucier played well for the Tigers.

Canton @ North Attleboro, 6:00

Foxboro, 4 @ Sharon, 0 – Final

Franklin, 6 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – Franklin scored three goals on either side of halftime to earn a season sweep of the Hornets. Kendall Jones opened the scoring (from Raena Crandall) and Emily Carney and Kaitlyn Carney each scored once in the second quarter to give the visitors a 3-0 lead at the break. Payten Crandall added two goals in the second half, Haley Wernig had a goal and an an assist and Emily Carney added two more helpers.

Milford, 0 @ King Philip, 7 – Final – Seven different players found the back of the net for the Warriors, as they earned their 12th win of the season. Lily Brown opened the scoring with what turned out to be the game-winner eight minutes into the game and senior Veronica Nowakowski wrapped up the scoring with her first career goal in the fourth quarter. Kelly Holmes and Margo Riley each scored once and assisted on two goals apiece, while Sydney O’Shea and Mara Boldy each had a goal and an assist. Makenzie McDevitt also scored for KP and Christina Gifun and Abby MacDonald both had assists.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Georgia Costello scored in the final second of the first quarter for what turned out to be the game-winner for the Tigers. Erin Cottam assisted on the opener and then doubled the lead with a goal just 30 seconds into the second quarter. Tyla Delamere got the assist on the second goal. The Tigers had 25 penalty corners and put more than 30 shots on goal. Stoughton goalie Melody Casna stood on her head to keep the Black Knights in the game, making 29 saves in a remarkable performance.

Volleyball
Attleboro, 1 @ Taunton, 3 – Final – In a very evenly matched contest, Taunton prevailed with a hard-fought 3-1 win (25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22) over the visiting Bombardiers. For Attleboro, freshman Julia Leonardo recorded 29 kills and 14 digs, Natalie Brojek dished out 34 assists to go along with 13 digs, Lilly Boedeker added 24 serve receptions and 12 digs, and Kate Petrosso recorded four blocks and seven kills.

Foxboro, 1 @ Sharon, 3 – Final

Canton, 3 @ North Attleboro, 0 – Final – Canton swept North Attleboro 26-24, 25-10, 25-20 to stay within one match of division-leading OA. The Bulldogs had a strong match at the net, recording seven blocks as a team and getting good balance in the attack. Taylor Reynolds was a key to the offense with 30 assists, while adding two kills and two aces. Anna Verille continued to be strong on the back row with 19 digs.

Franklin, 3 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – The Panthers rallied after dropping the first set to remain in the hunt for the league title. Franklin won 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-4. Taylor Lacerda had a great all-around performance with two aces, 11 kills, and nine digs. Julia Kelly led the Hornets with 11 kills and added six aces and six digs. Nicole Santos and Elyssa Buchanan (nine digs) each had five kills, Christina Lydon had 13 assists, and Jackie Zelic had 10 digs for Mansfield.

Milford, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – KP maintained its one-match lead on Franklin with a sweep of Milford. The Warriors won 25-8, 25-22, 25-16 and can clinch at least a share of the league title with a win in their next match. Samantha Asprelli had a strong game on the back row and the service line with 10 aces, seven digs, and 21 service points won. Stella Bailey added five aces and 13 service points won and Sofia Reidel added nine digs. Sami Shore led KP at the net with 10 kills and three blocks and Emily Sawyer chipped in with eight kills.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – OA swept Stoughton (25-17, 25-15, 25-17) to move within one win of clinching at least a share of the division title. Kelli Crowley was a standout for the Tigers with her aggressive play at the net. Hadley Rhodes set the OA offense in motion with 22 assists and Maddie Homer was dominant on the back row with 21 digs. Sarah Hilliard led the way with 14 kills and five aces.

Canton, 4 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – Holding just a one goal lead at halftime, Canton found the back of the net three time after the break to pull away from Stoughton for a win on the road. Senior Lily Carlino put the Bulldogs on the board, a 1-0 advantage that Canton took into half. Senior Payton McDonough, junior Ellie Bohane, and sophomore Payton England each scored in the second to give Canton a 4-0 win.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Foxboro, 4 – Final

Franklin, 7 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Franklin’s Kaitlyn Carney scored a first quarter hat trick and the Panthers never looked back in a win over Taunton. Haley Wernig opened the scoring less than a minute in and Carney followed with three straight before the first 15 minutes expired. That score held over the next two quarters before Ella Mahoney scored in the fourth and Shaw Downing (who also had three assists) scored back-to-back goals to get to 7-0. Payten Crandall had an assist for the Panthers.

Mansfield, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – Three different Warriors scored and King Philip picked up its 11th win of the year with a 3-0 decision at home over Mansfield. Senior captain Molly Piller scored her first career goal off an assist from Kelly Homes while sophomore Mara Boldy (from Holmes) and freshman Makenzie McDevitt (from Sydney O’Shea) also scored for KP.

Sharon, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final – Georgia Costello scored a hat trick and Ava Costello had three assists as Oliver Ames picked up a win at home over Sharon. Julia Maclaine opened the scoring in the first quarter (from Ava Costell) and Georgia Costello followed with back-to-back goals, one in the second and one in the third. Erin Cottam (from Georgia Costello) stretched the lead to 4-0 before Georgia Costello completed the hat trick in the fourth. Sharon goalie Natalie Kessler had a very strong performance in net. Also playing well for OA were Lily Gaskill, Lauren Mularczyk, and Emilee Welch.

North Attleboro @ Foxboro, 5:00

Canton, 3 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final – It was a total team effort from the Bulldogs in a win over neighboring Stoughton, earning a 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-14) sweep of the Black Knights. Jess Wright led Canton with 13 kills and three aces while Amaiah Christian, Fatima Sidibay and Katie Dever were all strong in the middle, combining for 11 kills and a pair of blocks. Sally Hoban was perfect in her serving debut with three aces. Kelly MacDonald, Ella Lewis, Zoe Scibelli and Jess Vo were strong in the backcourt for the Bulldogs.

Franklin, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Franklin made it three straight wins by taking down Taunton, winning all three in straight sets, this time a 25-16, 25-13, 25-23 victory over the Tigers. Sophomore Taylor Lacerda had a strong all-around game with nine kills, nine digs, and three aces for the Panthers. For Taunton, Mikayla Cleary had a strong game with nine kills and a pair of blocks while Dani Lofgren (nine digs), Emily Machado (six digs), and Jess Foley (six digs) anchored the defense.

Mansfield, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip won its 16th straight match to start the season and kept its spot atop the Kelley-Rex division with a 3-0 sweep (25-19, 25-17, 25-22) of Mansfield. Ahunna James (eight kills), Sami Shore (eight kills, four aces), and Emily Sawyer (six kills) paced the offensive attack for the Warriors. Sofia Riedel (five digs, three aces) and Samantha Asprelli (five digs) anchored the KP defense. For Mansfield, Julia Kelly had five kills and three aces, Nicole Santos added four aces, three kills, and three blocks, and Elyssa Buchanan chipped in with four kills and three digs to lead the offense. Christina Lydon and Izzy Flint each dished out nine assists, Lexie Scibilia finished with three blocks a pair of aces, and a block, and Jackie Zelic notched four digs.

Sharon, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – A day after rallying for a comeback win over Bridgewater-Raynham, Oliver Ames took care of business in straight sets with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-14) over visiting Sharon. Junior Brianna Monteiro had a strong all-around game in the Tigers’ win. Maddie Homer notched 20 digs, Hadley Rhodes finished with 17 kills and five aces, and Shannon Willard chipped in with 10 assists and a pair of aces.

Stoughton, 0 @ Franklin, 10 – Final – Highlighted by a five-goal outburst in the second quarter, Franklin continued to roll with another big win. Sydney Rogan scored the lone goal of the first quarter in the 10th minute before Kaitlyn Carney scored two in a row in the second to make it 3-0. Payten Crandall sandwiched a pair of goals around one from Raena Crandall while Emily Carney, Kendall Jones, and Ella Mahoney all had first half assists. Ella Aldred scored twice in the second half while Kaitlyn Carney and Emily Carney each scored once. Shaw Downing and Jill Finerty recorded second half assists. Megan Sullivan and Chloe Strassner combined for the shutout in net.

Oliver Ames, 2 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip carried a 3-0 lead into the final minutes of the game and held off a comeback bid from the visiting Tigers. Senior Margo Riley and freshman Makenzie McDevitt scored in the first half to help the Warriors build a 2-0 advantage by the halftime break. Riley tacked on another goal to push the KP lead to 3-0; McDevitt, Sydney O’Shea, and Christina Gifun all had an assist in the win. KP received strong defensive play from seniors Morgan Cunningham and Haley Izydorczak. OA’s Lauren Mularzcyk scored her first career goal to jumpstart the Tigers, who got a goal from Erin Cottam with five seconds to play. Both Ava Costello (assist) and Julia Maclaine had strong performances for OA.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Taunton, 1 – Final – Click here for a photo gallery of this game – North Attleboro’s Julia Puccio scored a pair of second half goals to help the Rocketeers record a close win on the road at Taunton. After a scoreless first half, Puccio and Taunton’s Kaysie DeMoura traded goals in the third quarter. Caroline Folan help set up the game-winner, which saw Puccio fire a nice backhand shot while in traffic in front for the game-winner. Sophomore Gracie Leary made a pair of key kick saves in the final moments to help preserve the win. Em Gannon recorded nine saves for the Tigers.

Volleyball
Sharon, 0 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final – Natalie Brojek dished out 23 assists and Attleboro picked up a 3-0 (25-11, 25-25, 29-27) win at home for its seventh victory of the season, the most in over a decade. Brojek added four aces in the win, freshman Julia Leonardo was a force at the net with 16 kills, and Lilly Boedeker anchored the defense with nine digs.

Foxboro, 0 @ Milford, 3 – Final

Canton, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – After splitting the first two games, Mansfield went on to win the final two sets to secure a 3-1 win (25-23, 22-25, 25-11, 25-20) over the visiting Bulldogs. Julia Kelly paced the offense with 15 kills, Nicole Santos added 10 kills and had a strong showing from the service line with six aces, and Lexie Scibilia added six kills in the win. Christina Lydon (20 assists) and Izzy Flint (17 assists) ran the offense for the Hornets. Anne Verille had another stellar showing for Canton with outstanding defense and aggressive serving while Fatima Sidibay and Amaiah Christian played well in the middle, combining for nine kills and four blocks.

Stoughton, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – It was a day to remember for Franklin senior Cailyn Mackintosh, who recorded the 1,000th assist of her career and had a strong all-around game to lead the Panthers to a dominant sweep, 3-0 (25-7, 25-6, 25-7). Mackintosh finished with 24 assists along with seven digs, five kills, and four assists for the undefeated Panthers.

Oliver Ames, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip prevailed in a tight second set that went down to the wire and went on to complete the sweep, 3-0 (25-17, 26-24, 25-11) of Oliver Ames. Stella Bailey had a big day at the service line with 14 service points, including five aces, while Samantha Asprelli added four more aces to go along with five digs. Sami Shore chipped in with four aces as well to go with eight kills and three digs while Ahunna James recorded a pair of aces and seven kills for the undefeated Warriors. For OA, sophomore Sarah Hilliard had a strong showing with 14 kills to pace the Tiger offense. Senior Hadley Rhodes added 20 assists and junior Maddie Homer finished with 15 digs and 18 serve receptions.

North Attleboro, 2 @ Taunton, 3 – Final – Click here for a photo gallery of this game – Taunton saw its 1-0 lead disappear as North rallied to grab all the momentum with back-to-back close wins in the second and third sets, but the Tigers bounced back to win two straight sets and the match, 3-2 (25-21, 24-26, 24-26, 25-22, 15-12). Taunton had a balanced attack on offense led by Hayley Krockta (12 kills, six digs, four aces), Mikayla Cleary (11 kills, five blocks, two aces), and Angie Lynch (nine kills) while Aislinn Campbell had a big game at the net with seven blocks and six kills. Anna Abouzeid put the offense in motion with 25 assists as well as two kills and two aces while Jess Foley, Dani Lofgren, and Mia Fernandes all played well defensively with eight digs apiece.




Boys Cross-Country
Attleboro, 31 @ Mansfield, 26 – Final – Mansfield took five of the top eight spots to earn a close win at home over Attleboro. Senior Collin Stevens paced the Hornet pack with a team-best time of 17:42 for second overall. Senior Chris Leonard (18:17) took fourth, sophomore Talon Johnson added key points with a fifth place finish (18:24), senior Riley Tremblay took seventh (18:55), and junior Clark Mackin rounded out the Mansfield scoring at 18:59 for eighth overall.

North Attleboro @ Canton – Postponed to Thursday, 10/7 at 3:45.

Stoughton, 34 @ Foxboro, 21 – Final – Senior Nick Olson crossed first and Foxboro took five of the top seven spots in a win at Payson Road against Stoughton. Olson won the race in 17:27, junior Brooks Stone took third overall (19:32), and junior Stephen Haney (19:37) was fourth. Senior Jared Ciora and junior Cooper Hassman rounded out the scoring for the hosts by taking sixth and seventh, respectively.

Franklin, 36 @ King Philip, 21 – Final

Taunton, 22 @ Milford, 38 – Final – Taunton continued its strong start to the season, improving to 4-0 with a win on the road over Milford. The Tigers took five of the top seven spots, including three of the first four, to get the win. Brayden Cali was the top runner for Taunton, taking second overall in 17:08. Sam Dennis clocked in at 17:12 for third while Andrew Cali took fourth overall (17:18). Ryan Strawbridge (17:25) and Cam Dorr (18:26) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers.

Girls Cross-Country
Attleboro, 48 @ Mansfield, 15 – Final – The first five runners to cross the finish line were all members of the Mansfield Hornets, who knocked off Attleboro on a 5K course at the Plymouth Street Soccer Complex. Sophomore Anna Moore led the charge for the hosts, who had eight of the top 10 overall runners in the race. Freshman Emily Quaglia was the top runner for Attleboro, crossing the finish line in a time of 25:59 for seventh overall.

Stoughton, 31 @ Foxboro, 24 – Final – Foxboro swept the top three spots all within a 30-second time span and that was enough to lead the Warriors to a win over the visiting Black Knights. Junior Casey Dahl won the race in 22:03 while classmates Aine Fitzpatrick (22:09) and Mabel Linck (22:30) rounded out the top three. Juniors Kyla Palmer and Sarah Howard took eighth and 10th, respectively, for the Warriors.

Taunton, 22 @ Milford, 38 – Final – Taunton freshman Emersyn Deponte set a new program record with her third dual meet win of the season and all five of the scorers for the Tigers clocked in a new personal records in a win over Milford. Deponte won the race in 20:27 with classmate Colby Dunham taking third overall just three seconds later. Kiley Quinlan (22:06) was fourth, Phylicia Dias (22:30) took fifth, and Jakhai Nicholson (24:36) earned ninth for the Tigers.

Sharon, 39 @ Oliver Ames, 22 – Final

Golf
Franklin, 169 @ Mansfield, 164 – Final – Mansfield kept its division title hopes alive with a close win over Franklin, splitting the season series with the Panthers. Senior Cian Goulet fired a team-low round of 38 to help the Hornets get the win at Norton Country Club. Seniors Ryan Doherty (41), Hunter Tang (42), and Jordan Tavares (43) rounded out the scoring for the hosts.

Milford, 174 @ Taunton, 190 – Final – Jacob Hipolito and Anthony LaPierre each shot 42 to lead the Hawks to a win on the road over Taunton. Nate Lawrence added a round of 45 in the win and Tommy Donato added a 46 for Milford. Loran Corcoran and Nathan Fernandes both shot 46 to pace the Tigers.

Sharon, 163 @ King Philip, 154 – Final – King Philip avoided an upset bid from Sharon to grab its 10th win of the season, staying undefeated on the year. Mike Matheson birded the fifth hole on his way to a match medalist round of 36 to lead the way for KP. Jared Curran birdied both the first and fifth holes to finish at 38 while both Pat Reardon and Ethan Sullivan shot a 40. Sharon’s Nathan Daley also birded the fifth hole and had a team-low round of 38. Eric Carter added a 40 for the Eagles and Owen Kevorkian shot a 42.

Canton, 156 @ Foxboro, 160 – Final – Foxboro nearly pulled off the upset of the season on the Front 9 at Foxborough Country Club but Canton came away with a close win to keep its lead in the Davenport division. Canton’s Will Gefteas and Mekhala Costello each shot a 38 on the day, sharing match medalist honors with Foxboro’s Dylan Pothier. Charlie Cohen and Nate MacDonald each added a 40 in the win. Jack Rounds shot a 39 for the Warriors and Louie Carangelo added a round of 40.

North Attleboro, 170 @ Oliver Ames, 155 – Final – Senior Jo Jo Gaultier fired an even par round of 35 as Oliver Ames picked up its eighth win of the season by beating North Attleboro at Thorny Lea Golf Club in Brockton. Jake Kaplan, David Rodgers, and Sean Kearns all shot 40 to round out the scoring for the hosts.

Foxboro, 1 @ Attleboro, 2 – Final – After trading goals in the first half, Attleboro went back ahead early in the third quarter and then denied a comeback bid from the Warriors in the fourth quarter. Emma Briggs scored both of the Bombardiers’ goals, putting the hosts ahead midway through the first quarter. Kaelin Connors tied the game shortly before halftime for Foxboro. Briggs scored the game-winner less than five minutes into the third and Attleboro held on.

Canton, 4 @ Taunton, 0 – Final

North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 9 – Final – Holding a 1-0 lead through the first 15 minutes, Franklin exploded for four goals in the second and three more in the third to pull away for the win. Kaitlyn Carney (from Kendall Jones) opened the scoring in the fourth minute and tacked on two more in the second quarter. Shaw Downing and Raena Crandall also scored in the second quarter as the Panthers took a 5-0 advantage into halftime. Downing, Raena Crandall, Payten Crandall, and Emily Carney added goals in the second half. It was the first career goal for both Raena Crandall and Carney. Haley Wernig recorded two assists in the win.

Sharon, 0 @ King Philip, 7 – Final – King Philip senior Sydney O’Shea opened the scoring in the game by opening her account on the season while underclassmen Mara Boldy and Makenzie McDevitt each had multi-point games in the win. O’Shea scored a pair of goals, Boldy found the back of the net twice and had an assist, and McDevitt found the back of the net once and had an assist. Seniors Anetka Nowakowski and Haley Keller each scored their first goals to round out the scoring.

Stoughton, 0 @ Mansfield, 4 – Final

Oliver Ames, 4 @ Milford, 0 – Final – Oliver Ames dominated time in the attacking zone on the Woodland Turf field, taking home two points via a 4-0 win. Sophomore Erin Cottam bookended the scoring for the Tigers, opening the scoring off an assist by Georgia Costello and closing it with a goal on a penalty stroke. Costello and Julia Maclaine, who assisted one another on the middle goals for the Tigers, both had outstanding performances according to head coach Sharon Lawrence, who also noted the strong play of the Milford goalie (14 saves).

Volleyball
Foxboro, 0 @ Attleboro, 3 – Final – Click here for a Photo Gallery from this match. Attleboro beat Foxboro 26-24, 25-17, 25-14 to sweep the season series with the Warriors. It is Attleboro’s fourth win of the year, which ties the program’s most wins in a single season since the Bombardiers entered the Hock. Freshman Julia Leonardo led the way for the hosts in the opening set, recording five kills. The Warriors battled back in the first to tie the set at 24 apiece, but Natalie Brojek’s tip and Leonardo’s kill closed out the first. In the second set Gabby Bolduc stepped up for Attleboro, with a long stint at the service line opening up a five-point advantage that the home team never relinquished. The third set was all Bombardiers. Brojek started the third with five aces, as Attleboro scored the first eight points. The Bombardiers opened up as much as a 15-1 lead and cruised to the win.

Canton, 3 @ Taunton, 0 – Final – Canton’s Fatima Sidibay had one of the best matches of her career and the Bulldogs rolled to a 3-0 sweep (25-6, 25-18, 25-19) on the road at Taunton. Sidibay put down nine kills and turned in four blocks to pace the Bulldogs’ offense. Taylor Reynolds did a great job distributing the ball with 28 assists along with three aces and a pair of kills. “The offense was a total team effort,” said Canton head coach Pat Cawley. Zoe Scibelli and Anna Verille anchored the defense with a combined 20 digs.

North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final – Franklin continued its unbeaten start to the season, rolling to a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 25-4, 25-20) win over the visiting Rocketeers of North Attleboro. Junior Cate Roberge and sophomore Taylor Lacerda each registered five kills while Georgia Harvey played well defensively with 15 digs.

Sharon, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip had a strong showing at the net for its sixth win of the season, recording a 3-0 sweep (25-10, 25-12, 25-14) against the visiting Eagles of Sharon. Middles Sami Shore (13 kills) and Emily Sawyer (nine kills) led the charge the Warriors while outside hitter Ahunna James added eight kills and four digs. Stella Bailey continued her strong serving this season with four aces and a total of 15 service points.

Stoughton, 0 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield took care of business at home, winning a close first and completing a sweep against Stoughton (25-20, 25-22, 25-18). The Hornets had a strong all-around team effort in the win starting with six aces, six kills, and five digs from senior Julia Kelly. Nicole Santos added a pair of kills and four blocks while Christina Lydon (nine assists) and Isabella Flint (seven assists) split the setting duties in the win.

Oliver Ames, 3 @ Milford, 2 – Final – In a see-saw marathon battle, Oliver Ames came home with the win after a thrilling 3-2 (20-25, 25-12, 25-17, 22-25, 15-11) win at Milford. The Hawks got off to a good start with a win in the first set but it looked like the Tigers would take three straight after a pair of dominate sets. Milford bounced back nicely with a win in the fourth set but it was OA that prevailed in a hard-fought fifth set for the win. Sophomore Claire O’Rourke had a standout game with 13 kills, 10 digs, and eight serve receptions. Senior Hadley Rhodes put the offense in motion for the visitors with 38 assists and five aces, junior Maddie Homer notched 35 digs and 30 serve receptions, and sophomore Sarah Hilliard anchored the offense with 20 kills and 16 digs.




Golf
Mansfield, 187 @ Foxboro, 172 – Final – The Warriors used home course advantage to pick up one of their biggest wins of the season, knocking off Mansfield at Foxboro Country Club. Jack Rounds paced the way for the hosts on the Par 36 Front 9 at FCC, carding a match-low round of 41. Jack Watts added a 42 in the win while Matt Fossella added a 44 and Matt Sullivan came in with a 45. Hunter Tang paced the visitors with a team-low round of 44 while Ryan Doherty added a 45 in the win.

Milford, 177 @ Canton, 154 – Final – Sophomore Mekhala Costello took her turn as the match medalist as the Bulldogs rolled to another win, this time at Blue Hill Country Club against visiting Milford. Costello fired a one-over par round of 35 to lead the way, Will Gefteas added a 39 for Canton, and Mike Leonetti, Ryan Doucette, and Charlie Cohen all shot a 40. Anthony LaPierre paced the Hawks with a 41, Jacob Hipolito carded a 43, and Nate Lawrence came in with a 44.

North Attleboro, 169 @ Stoughton, 185 – Final – Jake Gaskin earned match medalists once again for the Rocketeers, this time on the road at Easton Country Club to help the Big Red knock off the Black Knights of Stoughton. Gaskin fired a 39 to pace North Attleboro, Tyson Laviano added a 41 in the win, Dillon Harding carded a 44, and Ryan Kohli came in with a 45. Anthony Hern paced Stoughton with a team-low round of 40 in the tri-match.

Sharon, 163 @ Stoughton, 185 – Final – Consistency was key for the Eagles on Thursday with all four of its scorers within a stroke in a win on the road over Stoughton. Reid Nierman was the match medalist at Easton Country Club, firing a team-low round of 40. Eric Carter, Rosie Leonard, and Nathan Daley all shot a 41 for Sharon. Anthony Hern paced Stoughton with a team-low round of 40 in the tri-match.

Canton, 0 @ Milford, 2 – Final – Milford scored once in each half to down the Bulldogs for their first victory of the season. Arthur Tome put the hosts ahead, converting a pass from David Desa to make it 1-0. In the second half, junior Nick Ribeiro iced the game with a goal with just over two minutes to go.

Foxboro, 2 vs. Norton, 1 – Final – Foxboro senior Matt Angelini set up a goal in each half to help the Warriors claim a win against non-league foe Norton. Angelini blasted a low shot from atop the area that was saved, pushed off the post and out but junior Alex Penders was first to the loose ball and touched it in for a 1-0 lead in the 36th minute. Just after halftime, Angelini intercepted a pass in the attacking third and laid off a pass for Jacob Tessier, who beat the keeper from distance to make it 2-0 in the 48th minute.

Oliver Ames, 1 @ Franklin, 2 – Final – Franklin scored back-to-back goals in a short span to earn a win over Oliver Ames, the first victory of the young season for the Panthers. Terry O’Neill was first to a loose ball in the box, pouncing on it to make it 1-0, and shortly after, Tyler Powderly found the back of the net. OA cut the deficit in half on a goal from senior Michael Haikal off an assist from Clide Neau.

King Philip, 0 @ North Attleboro, 1 – Final – Carson Dameron scored the only goal of the game to lift North to the win. The sophomore pressured the KP center back, stole the ball, and scored on the break for his first career goal. Givany Carney also played well up top for North, keeping the KP defense on its toes. Brody Rosenberg and Joe Shephard played well on defense to help the Rocketeers keep a clean sheet.

North Attleboro, 1 @ Braintree, 0 – Final – North closed out a three-game week with a hard-fought non-league road win. Steph McKenna scored the lone goal of the game early in the second half. She took a pass from Autumn Hewitt and found the back of the net from 15 yards out. Haley Sinacola also came close when she hit a 35-yard free kick off the bar. Maddie Ferrin recorded her second clean sheet of the week and North’s defense of Lily Adams, Charlotte Moynihan, Caroline Ferrin, and Summer Doherty all played well.

Stoughton, 1 vs. Norwood, 2 – Final – Morgan Cook scored off an Isabella Rodrigues assist for Stoughton’s lone goal of the game. Emma Tran also played well in multiple positions for the Black Knights, who were missing a few players for the non-league game.

King Philip, 1 vs. Bishop Feehan, 6 – Final

Sharon, 3 vs. Milton, 3 – Final – Amanda Hu scored a late equalizer to earn a point for the Eagles, who twice came from a goal down in the draw. Olivia Soby opened the scoring for Sharon. After Milton scored twice to take the lead, Wendy Wooden leveled the scores. The Wildcats regained the lead but Hu fired in a shot from distance to tie it up in the closing minutes. Sofia Goclowski had a pair of assists.

Field Hockey
Milford, 0 @ Canton, 4 – Final – Ellie Bohane scored twice to lift Canton to the victory. Erin Lane and Maggie McCready each scored once for the Bulldogs.

Franklin, 5 @ Oliver Ames, 0 – Final – Franklin built a three-goal advantage by halftime and tacked on one more in each of the third and fourth quarters to secure a win on the road over OA. Kaitlyn Carney scored a pair of goals while Shaw Downing, Payten Crandall, and Haley Wernig also scored, which was the first varsity goal for Wernig. Wernig and Crandall also had assists while Megan Sullivan had five saves for the shutout.

North Attleboro, 0 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – KP’s defense was dominant throughout, allowing only one shot on goal. Seniors Lily Brown and Molly Piller stood out for the Warriors on the defensive end of the field. Mara Boldy got the winner, scoring in the second quarter off an assist from Makenzie McDevitt. Boldy then added an assist, setting up Margo Reilly. Kelly Holmes added a third, assisted by Christina Gifun, and freshman Abby MacDonald closed out the scoring with her first career goal. Boldy added her second assist of the game on KP’s fourth.

Stoughton, 5 vs. Brockton, 0 – Final – Zofia Bangs scored a hat trick to power the Black Knights to their first win of the season. Mia Allie and Isabella Iacobucci also scored once apiece.




Volleyball
Milford, 1 @ Canton, 3 – Final – Canton bounced back from a tough second set and got its first win of the season, 25-22, 12-25, 25-16, 25-17. Taylor Reynolds ran the offense for the Bulldogs, dishing out 27 assists, while also chipping in with four aces and nine digs. Anna Verille had a big game defensively, recording 17 digs and also had four aces. Jess Wright sparked the attack with 14 kills (and added seven digs), while Sydney Gallery had a solid all-around game on the outside with eight kills and five digs.

Franklin, 3 @ Oliver Ames, 1 – Final – OA won a close first set, 27-25, but then Franklin rolled over the next three sets (25-12, 25-13, 25-12) to pull out the win and stay perfect on the season. Cailyn Mackintosh dished out 21 assists and added eight kills. She also chipped in with four aces and 27 digs. Taylor Lacerda also had eight kills for the Panther and Brigid Earley had four kills and seven blocks. Addyson Smock had a pair of blocks for the Tigers and gave them an aggressive presence at the net. Hadley Rhodes led OA with 20 assists and five kills and Maddie Homer was strong in serve-receive and on defense with 27 digs and 32 receptions.

King Philip, 3 vs. Walpole, 0 – Final – King Philip continued its strong start to the season with a 3-0 sweep (25-13, 25-8, 25-10) at home over non-league foe Walpole. It was a strong all-around effort from the hosts with Sami Shore (10 kills, two aces), Liz Carey (four kills, 10 service points), and Emily Sawyer (five kills) pacing the offense. Stella Bailey (five aces, 17 service points) and Kiera Hagen (five aces) both performed well at the service line while Samantha Asprelli (six digs) was strong defensively.

Mansfield, 168 @ Franklin, 166 – Final – Franklin defended its home course to hand Mansfield its first loss of the season. Sophomore CJ Steel show the low round of the afternoon, carding a 38. That was one stroke better than Mansfield’s Cian Goulet. Caden Sullivan added a round of 42 and Ben Paterson and Caroline Woelfel each shot 43s for the Panthers. Cody Nieratko shot a 40 for the Hornets, who also got a round of 43 from Jordan Tavares and a 46 from Brendan Vokey.

Canton, 145 @ Oliver Ames, 152 – Final – Canton pulled out a win in the battle of unbeaten division rivals. Mike Leonetti was the medalist at Pine Oaks, shooting a 2-under round of 32. Will Gefteas had the second lowest round of the day, finishing with a 35. Conor Hunter added a 38 and Mekhala Costello and Charlie Cohen both shot a 40. OA was led by David Rodgers with a round of 37. Lucas Riley and Jake Kaplan both shot 38s and Carter Allbritton added a 39.

Rocchio recorded his first shutout of the season in the win.

Stoughton, 2 @ Foxboro, 6 – Final – Stoughton scored less than a minute into the game but Foxboro responded with three first half goals and never looked back. Freshman Alex Kozak gave the visitors a 1-0 lead on an assist from senior Val Pierre but Foxboro’s Matt Angelini leveled the score before the 10-minute mark and Jorge Sanchez scored twice before the break for a 3-1 advantage. Sophomore John Hollis extended the lead to 4-1 before Angelini scored twice in three minutes to complete his hat trick. Stoughton junior Miguel Millis tacked on a late goal on an assist from Joao Marotti. Hollis also had three assists in the win and Jacob Tessier had two helpers.

King Philip, 1 @ Taunton, 2 – Final – Taunton scored once in each half to pick up its second win of the season. Sete Deletoile gave the Tigers the lead in the 28th minute, a lead that the hosts took into the halftime break. Early in the second half, Deletoile sent a corner kick in that was headed home by Quincy Jones-Sylvia. Riley Rebello and Delano Costa-Hanlon both played well in the win for Taunton. KP cut the deficit in half with a goal in the 70th minute.

Mansfield, 2 @ Milford, 0 – Final – After a scoreless half, Mansfield found the back of the net twice inside a 10-minute span to knock off Milford. Senior Matt Hyland blasted a shot from just under 40 yards out to put the Hornets ahead in the 48th minute. Grady Sullivan doubled the lead in the 57th minute, converted a feed from Liam Anastasia. Jack Lasbury-Casey made seven saves in net to earn his second straight shutout to start the season.

Girls Soccer
Franklin, 2 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – The Panthers scored twice in the first half and it was enough to make it two straight wins to start the season. Freshman Kelly O’Connor added her first career goal to put the Panthers in front, assisted by Riley Fitzpatrick. Anya Zub then scored for the third time in two games, finishing a feed from Chloe Barca. Rachel Welch made eight saves for her second clean sheet of the season. Franklin’s midfield of Selene Hammad, Bridget Leo, Chloe Stavely, and Barca did well to control the game, and Norah Anderson, Katie Ewald, and Izzy Arnold had strong performances in the back line. Attleboro coach Steve Santos praised his team for battling through the second half and the Franklin defense for keeping the Bombardiers at bay. Emily Dunlea, Bethany Alves, and Kahlan Gray all played well for Attleboro.

Canton, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 5 – Final – Camryn O’Connor and Alexa Lane each scored twice to lead the Tigers to a big win against a Davenport title rival. Lauren Sellmayer opened the scoring with a long free kick and Lucinda Li Cotter had a pair of assists. Emily McCabe got Canton’s only goal with 10 minutes remaining.

Foxboro, 9 @ Stoughton, 2 – Final – For the second straight game, Kailee McCabe scored three times and assisted on another to lead the Warriors to a win. Jordan Carman and Neve Taylor each had braces for Foxboro and Lauren Miley and Sophia Auclair (first varsity goal) both added one score as well. The Warriors have now scored 14 goals in the last two games since being shut out in the season opener. Makenzie O’Connor scored her second goal of the season, finishing off an Isabella Rodrigues corner. Olivia Tran got on the end of another Rodrigues cross for Stoughton’s second. Lauren Mitchell played well for the Black Knights in both defense and the center of the pitch.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 5 – Final – KP scored four times in a 12-minute span in the first half to put away the Tigers and make it back-to-back wins to start the season. Ella Pisani scored the first two goals, both of them assisted by Morgan Norrman. Pisani played provider for the third, setting up Paulina Baczkowski to make it 3-0. Rachel DeFlaminis added a fourth, assisted by Kylie Anderson, to put the Warriors in control heading to halftime. In the second half, Kylie Menendez made it 5-0, assisted by DeFlaminis.

Milford, 1 @ Mansfield, 3 – Final – Mansfield scored twice in two minutes to turn around a one-goal deficit and pull out a second straight win. Dani Atherton had given the Hawks the lead in the opening minute of the game. It took the Hornets 18 minutes to tie the game on an Avery Hawthorne goal. Lyla Nappa scored what turned out to be the game-winner two minutes later. Both Mansfield goals were assisted by Katie Miller. Nine minutes into the second half, Gabby Smith teed up Tarynn Smith for an important insurance goal. Bridget Hanley helped Mansfield control the game in the center of the pitch.

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – North scored twice in the second half to seal its first win of the season. Steph McKenna and Emma Pratt each scored once and assisted on another for the Rocketeers. Pratt opened the scoring midway through the first half, running onto a ball over the top from McKenna and then finding the corner. Haley Sinacola doubled the lead 14 minutes into the second half with a 35-yard free kick. It was her first varsity goal. McKenna capped the scoring when she got on the end of a Pratt cross with nine minutes to play. Maddie Ferrin earned the clean sheet for North with Summer Doherty and Meaghan Dowd playing well defensively. North coach Bill Wallace also praised midfielders Sophia Bostock, Autumn Hewitt, and Brooke Sullivan.




Field Hockey
Franklin, 4 @ Attleboro, 1 – Final – Franklin scored with no time left in the first half to level the scoring and pumped in three second half goals to run away with a win on the road at Attleboro. After a scoreless opening quarter, the Bombardiers took the lead in the 27th minute on a goal from Madison Ellis. Since Franklin earned a penalty corner, play continued after time expired in the second quarter. Kendall Jones converted a pass from Kiera Kotwicki to bring the Panthers even. Shaw Downing put the Panthers ahead on a pass from Kaitlyn Carney in the 43rd minute, and Kaeley Dubriske made it a 3-1 advantage after another assist from Carney. Sydney Rogan put the game away (assisted by Downing) in the 58th minute. Ava Haggerty was strong in net for Attleboro with 19 saves.

Canton @ Oliver Ames, 6:30

Foxboro, 5 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final

Taunton, 1 @ King Philip, 4 – Final – Sophomore Mara Boldy continued her strong start to the season, scoring a hat trick to pace the Warriors to a win over visiting Taunton. After scoring the first goal and assisting on the second in KP’s win over Foxboro last week, Boldy scored three times on Monday. Freshman Makenzie McDevitt scored for the second straight game for KP’s other tally. Haley Bright made four saves in the win while seniors Sydney O’Shea, Lily Brown, Haley Izydorczak, and Molly Piller.

Milford, 0 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 4 – Final – North Attleboro put the ball into the back of the cage in each quarter, taking advantage of 17 penalty corners against visiting Sharon. Julia Puccio opened the scoring in the 10th minute on a feed from Ava Spencer, and then made it 2-0 in the 19th minute off a pass from Caroline Folan. Folan scored two goals of her own in the second half, first in the 33rd minute (assisted by Caitlin Vacher) and then again in the 48th minute (from Spencer). Gracie Leary posted the shutout in net for North. Sharon coach Paulina Kosmadakis said Kayleigh Connolly had incredible game defensively for the Eagles while Tanya Wadekar and Samantha Newbold both played well.




Volleyball
Franklin, 3 @ Attleboro, 0 – Final – Franklin fended off a good push from Attleboro in the second set and went on to complete the sweep (25-9, 25-20, 25-14). Cailyn Mackintosh dished out 19 assists and had a huge day at the service line with 10 aces. Cate Roberge and Taylor Lacerda both notched three aces to go along with six kills apiece. For Attleboro, Lilly Boedeker recorded 17 digs while freshman Julia Leonardo had 15 digs and nine kills.

Foxboro, 1 @ Stoughton, 3 – Final – Foxboro battled to win a close third set to avoid the sweep and keep the match going, but Stoughton but the game to rest with a win in the fourth set for a 3-1 decision (25-23, 25-11, 22-25, 25-12). For Foxboro, Mallorie Meyer had 17 digs, Sami Sloan added 12 digs, and Juliana Pettigrew finished with seven kills and eight digs.

Canton, 0 @ Oliver Ames, 3 – Final – All three sets were tight but Oliver Ames came out victorious in all three, taking each one by five or fewer points. The Tigers battled to a 25-20 win in the first set, edged out the Bulldogs 25-22 in the second, and completed the sweep with a 25-21 decision in the third. For OA, Maddie Homer was everywhere defensively with 17 serve receptions and 25 digs. Hadley Rhodes added 18 assists and five kills while Sarah Hilliard added nine kills to go along with 15 serve receptions. Canton Talya DeGraw played well in the loss with five digs, four kills, and three aces while sophomore Fatima Sidibay was a spark off the bench, playing well at the net for the Bulldogs.

Taunton, 0 @ King Philip, 3 – Final – King Philip took care of business at home, recording a 3-0 sweep (25-12, 25-12, 25-9) to improve to 2-0 on the young season. Junior Sami Shore put down nine kills to pace the Warriors’ offense while Emily Sawyer added six kills. KP had a strong game at the service line with Stella Bailey picking up four aces and 11 service points while Ahunna James added 15 service points.

Sharon, 0 @ North Attleboro, 3 – Final – North Attleboro went the distance to secure a win in the second set and went on to complete the sweep (25-19, 26-24, 25-14) in the third against visiting Sharon. Madelyn Corsetti paced the offense for the Rocketeers with 13 kills while Katherine McHoul dished out 15 assists. Ava Dunlevy and Julianne Chen anchored the defense with six digs apiece.

Golf
Milford, 169 @ Attleboro, 156 – Final – Attleboro’s Brendan Raymond and Leo Lombardo shared match medalist honors to help the Bombardiers sink Milford at Stone-E-Lea. Raymond and Lombardo each shot 38 on the day while Evan Houle chipped in with a 39 and Dane Holske recorded a 41. Nate Lawrence led the Hawks with a team-low round of 40, Jacob Hipolito added a 41, and Anthony LaPierre shot a 42.

Taunton, 101 @ New Bedford, 105 – Final (Stableford) – Taunton’s Jack Gobin shot a team-low round of 40 to score 23 points but the Tigers fell to New Bedford in a match determined by Stableford scoring. Logan Letourneau added a round of 41.

Franklin, 161 @ King Philip, 145 – Final – King Philip had all four of its scorers come in with a round under 40 to help the Warriors sweep the season series with rival Franklin. Mike Matheson was the match medalist, shooting a round of 35 that included a birdie. Gavin Croke, who had an eagle on the fifth hole, and Jared Curran each shot 37 while Pat Reardon finished at 38. Franklin’s CJ Steele had a team-low round of 38.
