The Hockomock League Golf Championship took place on Thursday at Norton Country Club. Below are the team and individual results. Each team had four golfers participate and the top three scores from each team counted to the final results.
King Philip senior Evan Regan went out on top in his fourth Hock championship tournament. Regan shared medalist honors with Mansfield’s Nate McLean three years ago as a freshman, finishing fifth as a sophomore, and shot a 76 (+5) last year. This year, Regan carded birdies on five, 10, 12, and 16 to finish with an even par 71 to win medalist honors for this year’s tournament. The Warriors also took the team title as senior Charlie Pelkey made a huge splash, firing a one-over-par 72 to take second overall, and senior Jason Silva (82) rounded out KP’s scoring for a team total of 225, seven strokes ahead of last year’s champs Foxboro.
